FRANCISCO (1/5): El hotel nos estafó con la habitación - La ubicación es excelente, eso no se le puede negar. Reservamos durante una semana la habitación con jacuzzi, esa que tiene como un salón y separado, lo que es la habitación, una de las más caras (si no la que más). Al llegar nos dan una habitación normal. Al quejarnos, nos dicen que la del jacuzzi estaba rota (muy sospechoso) y nos dan otra, igual, pero con vistas a la plaza y nos devuelven 60€… La diferencia de precio entre la habitación que nos dieron y la que pagamos es MUCHO más de 60€. Nos quejamos también a Booking. Ambos, Booking y el hotel, nos ignoraron.

Than the room was quite large, with a beautiful hand painted ceiling, great size bathroom with a jacuzzi. Fanulous view. Staff were all very nice. I missed the access to a microwave. I am a celiac, so I often eat my own thing that requires some sort of heated preparation.

Le propriétaire nous a contacté la veille en nous disant qu il nous déplaçait dans un autre de ses établissements. Nous n avons pas eu le choix.Nous avons donc séjourné dans un établissement que nous n avions pas choisi ! 2) Nous n avons pas eu de petit déjeuner qui était pourtant compris dans le prix et nous n avons pas eu d explications. A noter que la aussi nous avons été prévenu la veille alors que la réservation avait été faite plusieurs mois auparavant. 3) notre chambre avait une petite fenêtre qui donnait sur une cour insalubre. Nous avons vécu dans le noir …

Все эти удобство получила за неадекватную цену

Nissim (8/5): Wunderschönes Zimmer, absolut zentral gelegen und unkompliziertes Personal. Super für den Preis. Würde dennoch nicht wie - Super Lage. Wunderschönes grosses, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer Das Zimmer schaut sehr schön gegen den Platz hinaus. Nachteil, auch bei geschlossenen Fenster und Felläden, war es laut als wäre kein Fenster da. Im Bad fehlte die WC Brille. Scheinbar hat sie der Vorgänger zerstört. Aber so wie die Löcher sauber verschlossen waren, glaub ich nicht wirklich dran.

Hannah (9/5): Very nice stay over all and very worth it just for the location alone! - The location was incredible and had some of the best pizza right next store at Garage (I can’t believe I’m saying that but it’s true). The room was basic but nice enough and clean. There are steps everywhere (to the elevator, to the room and in the room) so definitely not wheelchair or handicap accessible. I also don’t think our aircon worked. Not a big deal for April but could be for July.

Julie (4/5): I would NOT recommend this unit. You can do so much better for the same price! Uncleanliness. - Location was handy, but the area around the square was actually a bit too loud and touristy. For example the restaurants had people outside pestering you to come eat - and they weren’t even Italians. You need to move down the side streets to find authenticity. I would not choose this location again. The bed was uncomfortable with both people sagging into the middle. The pillows were also uncomfortable. The shower is so tiny (we are tall, but slight individuals) one cannot even bend over to pick up bathing products, and there is no place to put them inside while showering. And the worst was the uncleanliness and unsanitary conditions, as well as necessities. For example, I went to make my espresso and the pot was filled with old moldy grounds. Sponge in kitchen was beyond filthy! I woke up my first day to a counter full of ants, moldy coffee pot, and the most disgusting sponge I ever saw. I was grossed out and did not want to us any kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, etc…No pillow protectors - pillows ick! We arrived to a half roll of tp, and no back up. No paper towels, or a backup liner for garbage pail, etc… I have traveled all over the world and do not expect ‘American’ amenities; however, I do have N expectation on cleanliness, and a few amenities to feel welcomed and make my stay comfortable, such as toilet paper.

Patrick (9/5): Centraal gelegen en vriendelijk personeel - Zeer vriendelijke dames die ons ontvingen. Vlotte communicatie. Het pand is ideaal gelegen om Firenze te verkennen. Ruime kamer en badkamer. Onze kamer lag achteraan dus super rustig maar wel wat duister maar met de lichten aan geen probleem. Zijn er 7 dagen verbleven en hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Niets voor ons maar minder mobiele gasten kunnen een probleem hebben. Er is een lift maar die kan je maar bereiken na 12 treden te hebben genomen.

Leslie (10/5): Perfect Family space in a romantic old Italian villa in the middle of downtown Florence around the corner from Uffizi. - The location is ideal, the rooms are unbelievably atmospheric and the frosting on top was the hotel Dog. We got a family room for two kids and two teens and everyone had their own beds. It’s a small thing, but I’m very sensitive to smell and the Reception area and rooms over smelled of artificial room spray. Once we located the air freshener and moved it out of the room it was fine.

Après mon départ, en route vers l'aéroport, la réceptionniste m'a demandé de faire demi tour pour venir payer la taxe de séjour que j'avais pourtant réglée en espèces le premier jour. Elle ne me croyait pas. Heureusement que j'avais insisté pour avoir un reçu sinon je n'aurais pas été en mesure de le prouver. J'ai envoyé une copie du reçu et c'était suffisant. J'ai trouvé cet incident très désagréable.
huss (6/5): - un B and B sans petit déjeuner, mais ce n'est pas gênant, il y a ce qu'il faut tout près ! petites attentions en chambre : un petit frigo avec de l'eau plate et pétillante renouvelée chaque jour, de quoi se faire un thé ou un café, une bouilloire. localisation parfaite pour découvrir Florence : tout est faisable à pieds et on peut y venir depuis l'aéroport en tram puis 15 min de marche. Petit plus non négligeable : on peut laisser ses bagages sur place le jour du départ et les récupérer à toute heure (ils vous laissent gentiment une clé d'accès au lobby pour les récupérer à votre convenance) - sinon, Florence dispose de très nombreux points de consignes à bagages (payants). L'établissement mériterait une petite remise à neuf : c'était propre, la literie confortable mais la salle de bain et les équipements un peu défraîchis;

Exceptionally friendly and helpful; great with recommendations for local restaurants and sites of interest. The lady at reception most days is wonderful and great to talk to about the area's history. They also have brilliant cleaners, who worked hard; the place was always exceptionally clean, despite on-going building work, which inevitably creates dust. The B&B no longer provides breakfast - which we had requested on the Booking.com website. However it was not a major issue.

Michael (10/5): Romantic boutique hotel in the heart of Florence - A very friendly, boutique hotel in a perfect location for exploring Florence. The room was huge, with lovely period features, an excellent bathroom and comfortable bed. The warm welcome from the owners was the start to a very memorable and enjoyable few days. Not a problem for us, but the access requires climbing a few steps to get to the lift. In this particular season (Jan) there was no breakfast option, but that really didn't matter as there were many options just a short walk away.
Sarah (9/5): Lovely character hotel in a great location. It has everything you need for the price charged - The room was a decent size with really high ceilings. There was a kettle and fridge provided so that we could make tea and coffee. The location of the hotel is amazing to be able to reach key sights and the fact the room had character and wasn’t like a generic chain hotel was lovely When we arrived the little outside area for our room was flooded and we had serious concerns the room was going to flood. The gentleman on reception tried to resolve it but ended up having to call a plumber. This finally resolved the issues and we had no further problems.
