- Kimberly (10/5): - The staff was fantastic, helpful and accommodating. The location is mid, but you're booking a Motel 6 and it's really close to Meow Wolf which was nice.
- steven (7/5): A suitable stop over for visiting Santa Fe when heading north. - Easy to get to off the Interstate. Smoke parking. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Good controllable heating/air conditioning. No view of anything interesting.
- Nicole (8/5): -
- Mr J (8/5): Great Value for a Comfortable Nights Sleep - The room was very presentable, you could smell the cleanliness and the staff was busy but friendly. Whould have appreciated a grassed area for my service dog, especially being a pet friendly location.
- Mike (4/5): Cheap - The check in staff were very accommodating. The room smelled strongly of cleaners, the floor was sticky and there was no mini refrigerator
- Clements (5/5): - Na About everything
- Vigil (10/5): The best in Santa fe - The staff was very sweet I would like to have a free breakfast

- Ryan (5/5): A place to lay your head down for the night. - Close to food. Place seemed a little shady after hours. Lots of people in the parking lot doing questionable activities.
- Randall (10/5): Clean and professional - Out of the 3 different Motel 6s that we visited on our trip across New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, this was the best!
- Harrison (10/5): It's all good - The big bed I saw other people hair on the wall
- Danny (3/5): Okay for one night if you are really on a budget. Otherwise, don't waste your time. - Lowest price around. That's it Poorly maintained room, bathroom fan was dirty and didn't work, smoke alarm had been pulled off of the wall and not reinstalled. Room smelled slightly like fresh paint. Poor lighting. No shampoo/conditioner provided.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location - transit population was horrible. Homeless hanging around our vehicle.
The room next door had music so loud while we were trying to sleep. It was loud all night into the early hours. We contacted front desk. They helped to get them neighbor to quiet down .
Atmosphere - We didn't know if our vehicle was safe with so many people hanging outside that were homeless. They watched everything we did.
- Archuleta (9/5): - Staff very friendly and helpful Neighbors were a little to noisy
- David (10/5): -
- Nikhil (4/5): Traumatic - Nothing This motel is in a bit of a shady area, when I arrived, I saw homeless people around, the key to room didn’t work, the door lock got stuck other time, the staff gave me wipes to fix it !!! I told her I’m tired of 10 hours of driving, she said I’m tired too ! Haha the shower is so bad that the water pressure is not even high enough to wash the face forget about rest of the body. Never going to this hotel again
- Violet (8/5): Safe and very welcoming. - The room was paid by my mother; we did not have any issues with the set up. The host made sure everything was taken care of and made us welcome/ No comment
- Gabriel (4/5): -
- Brooks (8/5): Stayed several times now. - Staff was super friendly and Professional Room space is a little small
- Tri (3/5): -
- Gary (1/5): Trash!! - Nothing I booked a king deluxe suite for our anniversary weeks in advance, when we got there they didn’t have my room. Gave us a room with 2 full size beds, cigarette burns on the blankets , no batteries in the remote, no refrigerator, no working lights in the bathroom. I’m done with motel 6

- Laura (8/5): Very comfy - Great
- Mario (7/5): Gut für kurze Nächte - Freundliche Menschen.
Super Lage. Nah zu Meow Wolf. Ausstattung sehr einfach.
- Randall (5/5): The 2nd room was OK after the repairs were made and the shortages were remedied. - The front-desk personnel were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The maintenance man did the best he could, I think. The ice machine had ice every time we needed some. Our first room had a puddle of water below the refrigerator and the light over the sink did not work. It turned out that the light fixture had to be replaced. We changed rooms. The second room did not have a refrigerator or microwave. These were brought in. It also did not have a stopper for the bath. After some search, one was provided, but it did not work. We ended up buying a stopper at Wal Mart. The liquid used to clean the tile floor left a gray film on the floor that transferred to our feet/stockings. Some of the electrical outlets and most of the USB ports for charging our phones did not work. The ceiling fan in the bathroom did not work. I got the impression that there are not enough appliances for all the rooms, and that they have to be switched around. The water in the swimming pool was dark green.

- Daniel (8/5): - Close to my job
- Gary (8/5): Staff is always nice and accommodating - Recently remodeled.. parking in front of room
- mary lynn (2/5): - It was clean. No shampoo. Also, there was a horse trailer parked outside. The horses had been in there all day and all night. They expressed their displeasure by kicking the sides of the aluminum trailer as hard as they could so sleep was interrupted.

- Paris736 (4/5): Hotel review - Not convenient from highway
Room was very small and had a smell
Entire room floor was sticky, didn’t feel or smell clean
Price was higher than other hotels we stayed at on our 2500 mile trip.
No bathroom essentials
Bed/pillows were comfortable
Only had coffee, no breakfast available
- Stacy (1/5): -
- Hull (2/5): Uncomfortable bed. Room was smelly. Lots of noise and thin walls. - Uncomfortable bed. Room was smelly. Lots of noise and thin walls.
- Susan (3/5): Bed was comfortable. For the price we would not stay there again.. - It was convenient to get to after driving all day. Morning coffee was available and ice machine. Our entire floor in our room was sticky to walk on. Headboard on bed had a huge hair stain like grease. No toiletries available. Make sure to have your own!
- Judith (9/5): -
- Nathan (1/5): - The price It was dirty and not clean, alot of things were broken
- Archuleta (9/5): - Staff very friendly and helpful
- Richard (7/5): Nice nite of sleep. - Location was perfect No
- Rene (2/5): Consider somewhere else to stay. - Area has really good restaurants. It was cheap and available. It was dirty. I did not take off my shoes while in the room. There was food crumbs all over the floor, probably still there. There was broken glass as well as tiny shards of glass all over the floor, too. Door did not close very well.
I needed a cheap place to stay for a night while on a road trip. I'll opt to pay more next time.
- Archuleta (10/5): - Staff very friendly and professional work Everything ok

- Ruiz (2/5): - Prostitution and drug addicts and dealers
- Thomas (4/5): -
- Schneider (9/5): Great service and very nice rooms - Very clean
- Melissa (7/5): -
- David (10/5): - Excellent in all categories. Welcomed warmly by friendly young staff woman. I highly recommend this property.
- Katcia (8/5): - Just for 1 night, to get some sleep.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Room was clean enough. There were a couple hairs in the shower and one on a towel. Beds were actually pretty comfortable. The satellite tv signal kept dropping, but I think that was because of the bad weather. You do get HBO. The neighborhood is sketchy, but we didn't have any problems. They have coffee in the morning. All in all, it's mostly fine and you'll save money.
- M (8/5): -
- Del (6/5): - Nothing just parking
- Sanchez (6/5): The property manager Alex was amazing and so friendly also Cindy from the front desk was so helpful. -
- Jolene (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was reasonably quiet considering the building is on a main blvd.
- Terry (6/5): - Issues with the Internet connection. Kept loosing the single and jad to go thru the process several times to log on and regain service. The TV single was scrambled and poor mich of the time as well.
- Ana (10/5): - n/a
- Karmen (10/5): - Everything was great
- jeramy (8/5): - The room was very neat, and the customer service was outstanding. I showed up late do to travel issues and the front desk
- Karmen (10/5): - Everything was great compared to some other times I’ve been there
- Passport20375149440 (2/5): Deeply Disappointing Experience at Motel 6 Santa Fe Downtown - My recent stay at Motel 6 Santa Fe Downtown was one of the worst motel experiences I’ve ever had. The front desk staff was hostile and unprofessional, creating an unwelcoming and uncomfortable environment from the moment I arrived.
After a long day of travel, I requested a bottom-floor room—a reasonable ask at any motel. Instead, I was told it would cost extra. When I questioned the charge, I was threatened with cancellation of my reservation. It’s a dirty way to treat customers, but unfortunately, I’ve encountered this kind of behavior toward locals before.
To make matters worse, I was then told I had to pay a $200 deposit simply because my driver's license is from New Mexico. When I asked why, the front desk staff told me it was “in case I decided to destroy the room.” This was an offensive and insulting assumption with no basis, and the staff struggled to justify the policy, which came across as both discriminatory and arbitrary.
The room itself was in poor condition: stained linens, questionable cleanliness, and an overall lack of maintenance. It’s clear that guest comfort and basic upkeep are not priorities at this location.
I’ve stayed at other Motel 6 properties without issue, but this one reflects poorly on the brand. I strongly urge Motel 6 corporate to investigate this location and address the conduct of the staff, the questionable pricing practices, and the condition of the facility. Guests deserve to be treated with respect—not exploited, threatened, or subjected to unfair treatment.
- Catherine (5/5): - The bathroom sink was clogged, plus there is no coffee pot in the room. I drove to Walmart a couple blocks away to purchase the coffee pot , coffee & filters.
