• barbara (2/5): - Very run down for a Wyndham property. Our bedroom floor was very sticky due to a new cleaning agent that was used. The mngr. came in and cleaned it for us. The “free breakfast” was a joke - nothing substantial to eat - not even a piece of fruit. plus the temp was about 90 deg. in the breakfast area. Also no water in the pool!!

We found hair under the blankets.We got in very late and were exhausted or we would've asked for a different room or left. We all slept on top of the covers. The bathroom door was so warped that it wouldn't close properly. Definitely will not go to this property again.
• Janet (6/5): - I chose this hotel because the room choice stated a King - Smoking room. When I did the online check-in, it changed and said that the entire hotel was non-smoking. The king bed had 2 very small, flat pillows (I did request and receive 2 more). There is no phone or clock in the room. No luggage rack (we had to use the only chair in the room). There are no liners for the ice bucket and the room one had hair in it. No screen on the window so we were unable to open it without getting a bunch of bugs flying in. The parking lot was crumbling and had large holes. The pool was not filled and open for use.

• Keith (10/5): Decent for the price. - Bed was awesome. Especially after a long day of traveling, it was nice to have a soft bed. I was too tired to do anything but pass out. Hubby did say that there was no hot water. Tv was really small, but again i didn't care to much.

• Verified traveler (6/5): It's adequate - Stay was adequate. Picture of swimming pool is deceiving as the pool was not operational. Stayed for 3 nights, no one entered our room to clean or empty trash. If you just need a bed, fridge, and microwave, then you'll be okay. That's all we needed. You get what you pay for and for $50 a night what more can you expect?

Sign on display that management reserve the right to not honor any 3rd party reservation. This is foreign owned property. Two rooms reserved, charged in advance. Did NOT stay at this facility.

• H2070AJrobinw (2/5): Very disappointed - Checkin was OK. However it did take a while because they weren't through cleaning the rooms. The room was not very appealing. Shower curtain had mold on it and the sink was all cracked. Definitely needed some upgrades. It just felt dirty.I was also told it would be $25 to have dogs but was not told ir would be $25 for each dog. So this room ended up costing me much more than we had expected. From what we read on the website we sure thought it would only be $25 total. All we had was 2 small chihuahuas. I could have stayed somewhere nicer for the price. I did not take any pictures. Just wasn't a very pleasant experience.
• Pam (10/5): Our usual hotel in Raton. - We usually stay here when we're headed to Philmont. It is walking distance to the restaurants we prefer. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't available, which had the grandkids bummed out. Until we found out about the Raton Regional Swim Center. They both had a blast. Thanks to the hotel staff for directing us there.
• Elizabeth (6/5): - Friendly staff, clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Two lightbulbs were not functioning, nor was the outlet in the bathroom. I will try to find an alternative place to stay, in future.
• KelleyJensen (8/5): Travelodge Raton Stay - Everything was alright. Breakfast could have been better but nothing was bad. Parking was available near the door but that is because it was a week day.

Could hear the loud voiced female child through the connecting doors. As doors are blocked by the frudge they should be made soundoroof. Excessive sink facuet water pressure. Pool out of service. No breakfast service.

The shower curtain has some sort of brown stain on it, my pillow has a black stain on one and a red stain on the other. There are other stains on the bed sheets. The beds are itchy and the remote is sticky. This is a terrible experience and the room was $97.

• comanche12018 (8/5): Travelodge, Raton, NM - The room is very comfortable, and the staff are great. The staff are always polite and courteous. The beds are very comfortable. I stay here 4 times a year when I pass through Raton. The breakfast is all carbs, but I rarely take advantage of it. This is an older motel that is in the process of remodeling, so please keep that in mind when you stay there.

They took apart the sink to help me find it. Reliable, safe, place to stay- highly recommended when you’re looking for a place in Raton!

• Verified traveler (4/5): Would not stay here again - Housekeeping is not up to par. Showed one nasty, lazy example to manager. New paint doesn't obscure dirty housekeeping details. New dark flooring was a poor choice - it shows all the dirt tracked in just bringing in suitcase, so the bathmat was needed at the door. Couldnt be barefooted in the room. Outside good doormats are needed. Breakfast was very poor.
• 930derikr (10/5): Got what I expected. - Got exactly what I was looking for, a good night's sleep at a good price. No frills. Breakfast was spare, but adequate (I like a hot waffle, and I'm pretty sure the batter was fresh). Nothing else was of importance to me on this quick, overnight stay.

• Brooks (1/5): I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER TRAVELODGE! - The condition of the room. The most disgusting thing was HAIR in the shower drain, and the broken toilet seat. I sat on it before I realized it was broken and it pinched my leg! I'm requesting a refund. There was ice on the ground in front of our room which caused a danger to my wife. I failed to read the reviews, it has a 2 1/2 star rating. If your looking for something decent, don't stay here!
