rachelkZ9861QT (2/5): Nasty and Gross.. Extremely dirty blood puss and urine BEWARE - Horrible and Disgusting ! The room smelled like death and smoke. Blood and puss on walls. Dirty sheets on lopsided bed. Urine on toilets. I couldn't stay. Girl up front was laughing on phone when I explained that I could not say there. She said no problem that manager would issue refund next day. No refund ever sent. Uber that took me to a different hotel said the place was vey dangerous with lots of drug activity and prostitution so it was a smart idea to leave. Never received refund they refuse to answer phone and Motel 6 corp said the can do nothing.

Verified traveler (2/5): - Absolutely awful. Needle on the floor. Room hadn’t been cleaned. Soap was on the floor. Only had pillows on one bed and they were propped up like someone had been leaning on them against the wall. We left after two minutes. You couldn’t pay me enough to sleep there. On top of that it’s right on the highway and loud as anything.
Tiffany (2/5): - I booked 3 rooms. One room had no door handle on the inside, no pillows on the beds, floors weren’t swept or mopped, there was also no toilet paper in the rest room. Front desk gave me another room, that room had no pillows on the bed and no towels. Front desk gave me 3 pillows with no pillow cases. A second room, had no lights in the restroom and the water did not work. The cleanliness of the rooms is terrible. Dirt and hair everywhere. Definitely do not recommend staying at this motel.

I had to call hotels.com , waited in total of 45min to an hour for help. I was also in the chat queue and it was a 255 minute wait and I was number 400. It took us over an hour to check in. We were on a bus from California for over 23 hours.

At that time of cancelling this room Leo advised I had 5 duplicate and false accounts. I have a screen shot of Expedia when order placed showing no duplicates. Further none of the duplicate accounts sent a conformation. Does Expedia not have warning of listing same night? Leo tried to bill me $250 to cancel the 5 ($50 each)erroneous billing’s. When I complained he reduced it to $100. I have since contacted all hotels advising there is no $50 fee. This is a scam. I have visited the Expedia victim page and see this is not out of the ordinary. I will do everything in my power to reveal this scam

Checked in from the outside through a broken screen. Key didn’t work. Hunks of dirt on bedside table. Hairs on the bed sheets. Things are broken and torn and many cigarette burns. First time at a Motel 6. Just needed a quick night before a flight. Never again.

Mold on bathroom ceiling, walls, tub and commode. No bathmat. When you walked across the floor barefooted, one's feet would be black/brown due to filth. Door lock hard to operate. This place should be shut down by the city health department. This is the worst room I have stayed in in all my years of travel. (50 plus) I have flown over a million miles all over the world. This was worse than any room I have stayed in any Third World countries.

Unfortunately it was on the weekend of the Balloon Festival, so all hotels had quadrupled in price and there were few rooms available anywhere. We were lucky to get this place. It was OK for our purposes. The office staff were wonderful considering what they had to work with. There are lots of restaurants within driving distance, the Airport and car rental return are just minutes away. The hotel is run down, and the bedding was dirty and full of cigarette burns.

Would not recommend!

Asked for non smoking room and was given a room that smelled like cigarettes, bathroom was dirty, and the bathtub and toilet had cigarette burns. It also felt and looked like an unsafe environment.
Marvin (6/5): - I stayed for two days and weren’t giving new towels or Hotel soap. Make sure you have a vehicle staying here unless you are into hiking. Whether you exit to the left or right, you will be heading towards a hill. But you are right by the university and stadium and when you get there it’s beautiful. They do have smoking rooms if you need one. Just be sure to have transportation to get the things you need for the night.

lovelyc965 (2/5): SCREWED OVER VET HUSBAND - 0/5 STARS !!!! STAY AWAY FROM MOTEL 6 ON SOUTH AIRPORT Never have my husband and I stayed in such an absurd Motel 6 before, till this passed mid week. Some backstory, it's our 1 yr marriage anniversary and we went to ABQ for biopark and limp bizkit, so we arrived around 5am to motel 6, a motel that offers 24 hr hostility. The young man who worked that morning/night was incompetent as can be (on top of pretty much the entire staff being druggies, I saw those marks...) anyways, the bs starts immediately when he LIES to my VETERAN husband that motel 6 doesn't offer a vet discount. When. Ahem. ITS COMPANY POLICY, We always stay at motel 6s, all at different times and days and cities and states...He gives us a room, 233. First 2 cards not working. (Kinda like this man's brain), the worker opens the door with the master key. The room has broken ac and we get moved to a room, 246, it's broken (see pictures below) every picture is how the hotel was in, the dirty towel is residue I mopped off the floors. There were strikes on a broken mirror, the fire alarm off the ceiling. And the fan in the restroom off ceiling, bed sheets filthy. Oh and to top it all off, bro hustled my vet husband. My husband told him to we needed a 1 bed room. Bro says okay but charges and gives us a 2 bed room and didn't say sh till he opened the door. This place gave back 20 out of 80 and that's not acceptable. We will never be returning. You are better off sleeping next to the homeless under the freeway then staying at this "motel". Every employee we spoke too was currently on something and had massive brain fog. It's disgusting how yall can get away lying and treating vets like this. Here's the pictures. .

They are in a contract with a tow company and purposely put you in handy cap rooms in the hopes you make the mistake of parking in front of the room you paid for. If you do because it only makes sense your car will be towed. It will be a 300 dollar easy mistake they are just waiting for you to make. As they have no signs warning of towing. There is more handi cap spots then I’ve ever seen. I didn’t ask for handi cap room, why would they put us in one if that parking spot needs to remain not parked in? For money of course. They care little for handi cap or they would not rent out their rooms to non disabled people. They want to screw you over for slipping up and parking in front of the room you paid for. These people make me sick. I hope they get all they got coming. Stay away from this dumpy den of scammery.

Verified traveler (4/5): Never to stay there - We had a room which someone had been in before we got there. The soap was used, they use the ice bucket. TV was on already. TV remote was from a different room so it didn’t work to change channels. Had to do it manually. No fridge, no microwave and no dresser drawers. It was a crappie room No towels for 3 nights, bed sheets still looked dirty Never going to stay there anymore Front desk, they were rude. Talking back at customers. They were not nice at all. They had to ask someone before they could give me clean towels for our 2 night stay. Some rooms didn’t have TV or heater wasn’t working. Omgosh! Dirty place to stay. Never again are we staying there.

Went back and asked for ground floor. Was told only had one GF available. Room was dirty, blood on corner of pillowcase and tv did not work. Was also told internet was down. Sketchy people around. Just horrid.

Cristian (2/5): - I booked a room for 2 nights and another for one night. The second room was for my father in law who was coming in on the second day. Upon arrival to the room was a strong odor of cigarette which was terrible for a "non smoking" room. The toilet was filthy and the tub was also filthy to the point where we didnt use the toilet nor shower. We got there at midnight so all we wanted to do was sleep and too late to find another hotel at that time. We woke up with headaches from the cigarette smell. As soon as we woke up we left and cancelled the second night and also the second room. We booked at La Quinta Inn which was similar pricing but way better 10/10!!! Cant believe this facility is allowed to rent out rooms in this condition.
John (2/5): - My problem was I could not check in when I had intended. They did not have the room available. I tried to get my money back through Expedia and they would not give it to me. And Motel 6 would not honor it. I paid for nothing. I will never, use Expedia again for anything

NEVER paid for a hotel that provides a cold ass shower because theres no hot water. All in all , just a HORRIBLE place to go/stay. Felt UNSAFE my entire night.

IT WAS HORRIBLE. Too tired to dral with asking for another. - Workers should not have their children hanging out/working with them outside of lobby/behind desk. I understand about extenuating circumstances, but its not professional. Sge waa distracted. -Paint splatter all over floor in room. - Property not kept up. Looks dingy/ild/dilapidated. I've stayed at many many Motel 6 locations. This is the worst. Will not stay again. -
Patrick (2/5): - There weren't a lot of options for hotels and I wouldn't have chosen this place if there wasn't an eclipse and huge balloon festival happening the next day. I took a chance and booked anyway, even though there are a number of negative reviews. The door to our room had a busted chain lock from a previous forced entry, the room was dirty, there were cockroaches, there was a crime scene investigation team at the front of the hotel when we came back from dinner. It wasn't a good place to stay. We left early. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless, like us, you have no other choice.

Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusting! - If I could give it a negative star I would. The woman at the counter was very unfriendly and said if you dont give me the confirmation number I can't help you. I had to call hotels.com to get the number. Hotels.com had to call her also. The room hadn't been remodeled for decades. Stains on sheets. Dirty rag in the bathroom. Toilet running all night. There was no soap in the room. I went to the counter and asked the lady for it. She said, "We are not a hotel!". An scooped some motel six soaps out of a box and said... they just arrived. We paid $250 to stay in this dump. Disgusting! We slept in our clothes and didnt dare take a shower.... avoid this place !

Giuseppina (2/5): - I was shocked at the horrible condition of this motel. We chose it because we needed to be close to the airport. My husband and I were up killing bugs, I think cockroaches. Outside of our room we believe drug deals or worse were happening, with lots of yelling and screeching tires. We decided to leave to go to the airport. It was the most disgusting and frightening experience I’ve had.

Cindy (2/5): Excellent attendant, HORRIBLE ROOMS. - The woman at the desk, who worked the evening Friday, October 13th, 2023 was an excellent worker. Much respect and gratitude to her for staying on the job and getting guests checked in all on her own while rooms were completely over booked, rooms hadn’t been checked, and putting up with a company and/or management that appears to completely disrespect employees and customers. Because she was working a third shift in a row on her own, there was no one helping check in guests. Even though she was doing everything she possibly could, We waited an about an hour to get checked in. The bed sheets had dried fluid on both beds, a hair in one bed, definitely sheets were not changed. The only working light in the room was the bathroom, the others all flickered badly or just didn’t come on. In my opinion, the condition of the room was at least 20-30 years old without maintenance. So everything was disappointing. Another guest refused to stay because upon getting her nonsmoking room, “everything stank of cigarettes and there were burns on all the furniture and bedding “. This location has apparent disrespect to their employee’s work conditions, housekeeping training, and total disrespect to their customers.
Davonna (4/5): - Our toilet leaked.. check in time is supposed to be 3 and after tried checking in at 330 and had to wait until 440 cause no rooms cleaned.. usually that’s y someone makes a reservation to make sure they have a room ready. I made the reservations 7 months ago and to get there and be told had no rooms ready is very aggravating then room did get wasn’t all that clean.
Kara (6/5): - The property was unclean. Our room could have been better. There were bugs. The shower curtain was not properly installed and could have fallen down. The room did not have a television remote. The air conditioning unit in the room worked about half the time. There was no soap, shampoo or conditioner in the room for use. We had to call the front desk to get some. It smelled. The AC grate above the toilet was held together by blue painters tape. Property needs lots of improvement.
AMsays (2/5): This place is beyond disgusting - Non-Smoking room had a strong smoke smell inside and a vile smell outside. Room had a meagre blanket, threadbare towels, stuck toilet, no coffee service, holes, peeling paint and roaches. Staff were rude, dismissive, unavailable and refused a second blanket; one was even drug addled. No Wifi for 2 days caused great inconvenience. Safety was compromised with people staggering and milling about at all hours. This place is beyond disgusting. Motel 6 execs in your ivory towers and fancy suits pay attention. Mr. Stephen A. Schwarzman CEO, are you listening? I doubt it…..

When entered room, it did not look like it was clean, there was used towels in the bathroom, I inspected the sheets and it was disgusting, I went back down to the front desk to find out that no one was there everyone had left. Exhausted from my travel I had no other choice but to stay. The key card sometimes didn't work I had to go to get it fixed, ice machine didn't work, the phone in the room was just for decor because it didn't work. The door looked like it had been kicked in. This place is HORRIBLE
