• Michael (8/5): Short stay at the beach with friends. - Excellent location for the beach. Right on the beach and close to a patrolled location. Staff were quick to fix a minor problem. Short walk to groceries and various restaurants or to light rail with access to major shopping at Pacific Fair or the lesser Australia Fair. Apparent the "in thing" locally - no provision of coffee, tea, or even a minor amount of UHT milk. Shops are not far but ... really!!!? Air-conditioning is only in the main area. I suspect even that would struggle on hotter days. The balcony is adequate to sit with a chair but not suitable/no provision for even a small table if you were inclined to use it like that.

Yes the decor was dated, a bit tired, a broken towel holder, no toilet roll holder but these were tolerable when you saw how close you were to the beach and the locality to attractions. We always felt safe with the room security and Kate the hotel receptionist when way beyond to help us when we needed to stay a night earlier and night longer. She made our stay enjoyable. We will be staying again when we come and visit family next year.

We found it frustrating because the reception area was being renovated but they only let us know the day prior to check in that we had to check in across the road and access out of the tower was through the basement. Facuities in our room were very old and in need of attendion. The location was amazing so that is the only thing that would make us go back

Very pleasant stay as we arrived off peak season otherwise I probably would not use the ground floor as I felt there will be a lot of traffic passing by our room. The kitchen window is exposed to the front of the entrance so I needed to close the blinds. The swimming pool was on the left of our back balcony and if it was on peak season I probably felt I was exposed to everyone. Beautifully view of the ocean from every room and comfortable. The property is very will maintained.

Looks like floor had not been cleaned properly as there were small bits of broken plastic outside kitchen , and stuff under the couch (I dropped something so was looking). For me was just a one night stay and was just about location so did the job.

Right on the beach so couldn't ask for a better location. 2 blocks from a strip of Restaurants so easy to go out for dinner. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and a few minutes walk from the surf club which had awesome food and views of the ocean.
• Francesca (8/5): Great view! Very nice place for a family - When we first got there we were greeted by a very nice woman, she showed us everything and was very friendly. The view was absolutely perfect, this would be great for families who like to cook food themselves. There was some cons, i suggest them to get new furniture as the one I stayed in looked pretty old, the bedroom I was staying with my sister was opposite the beach and was two singles. the beds were a bit hard, there was dust and cobwebs on the ceiling, the ceiling fan was shaking and seemed like it wanted to fall off, windows was dirty and if you're staying in the summer don't expect wind and breeze to come to that room. Weirdly there was food, tissues, clothes and wine left in the closet in the double bedroom. I'm not entirely disappointed but I would like them to do checkups for each room before renting them out.

• John (10/5): 5 nights away - Had a fantastic 5 x nights there in a 1 x bedroom apartment, apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable and walking distance to all great restaurants, ie: Tedder Ave food, location was a huge bonus, and only had to step out apartment door and straight onto beach, welcome by Kate at reception was very warm and most helpful, Definitely be going to stay there again

Rooms were clean and tidy, facilities are all in order. right on the beach. Close to everything. We had a great stay and managed to unwind in no time at all. didn't want to leave on the Sunday.

Has a lovely pool and BBQ area as well. There is a cafe and 711 across the road which was handy or it's just a short walk to the Tedder Ave strip with its cafes and shops. We will be back.
