• Daniela (6/5): Hotel is outdated - Outdated and not very clean The smell of food all over in the hotel. The carpet smells bad and was very sticky. They never changed the towels and we stayed 4 nights. Hotel is outdated. Bad smells all over the places and especially in our room. In the lobby the furniture is dirty and sticky. I couldn’t ever stayed relaxed on the sofa.

• Daniel (7/5): The couch cushion was badly soiled, and when I turned it over, it was so soiled even worse. - Location I am not much of a traveler and haven’t stayed in the hotel in a while. Not used to new protocol. Would be nice for a staff to stop by and see if our needs were even if they did not clean the room in between. Like the old-fashioned system of having brochures printed about amenities. Did not know how to scan barcodes left in the room to access information.

The room service, the front desk staff and the cleaniness was not upto the mark. No one came to make up the room during our 5 nights stay. The front desk staff was very arrogant and non polite.

• edwinsW5597UC (8/5): Jerome was awesome! - I rarely right reviews but this was worth it. From the moment I stepped into the Hyatt, Jerome was there to help. He was welcoming, friendly and gave some great recommendations. The rooms were not too bad also.
• appledude1221 (2/5): A disastrous stay starting from reservations to not willing to accommodate - This is where we stayed at here in DC on business. I requested all 3 of the rooms to be connected and the hotel just could not accommodate us and they canceled one of the rooms reservations last minute because they said they are sold out, and I had to call the hotel to rectify this, like seriously, I booked the rooms last week with the requests for connecting rooms I made the request last week when I booked the rooms, the hotel simply ignored our request, despite having an elder with us. Plus the rooms were not very clean one room had a receipt left on the floor and the other’s room’s pull out sofa was not very clean. Honestly despite being the cheapest property, it failed to meet our expectations, the staff really needs to be ashamed of this. I honestly would recommend staying elsewhere if you want your accommodations met, because despite our request for the rooms to be connected, the hotel just would not honor it. Stay away from this property at all costs and go somewhere else if you’re looking for a property here in DC.

• melissacA8736AU (4/5): Car stolen when using valet parking - My stay was positive until I tried to check out my car to meet my family before they were headed to the airport only to discover my car had been stolen. Noone had answer for me, and this ruined what was a joyous moment for me and my family. I spent my entire Mother's Day crying and stressed. Do not use VALET parking.

• DustinD192 (2/5): Worst hotel I have stayed at - One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. We were there for work and my co-workers reserved a room with his Discover card. We he tried to check in, he was told they don't accept the Discover card. He tried his Capital One card and was told that card wasn't accepted. He was told they don't accept cash, but would make an exception for him. They charge you a $100 fee per night for damages. It takes 5 business days for that to be returned to your card. Very outdated hotel. None of the plug-ins near the bed worked and very low water pressure.

• Bradshaw (7/5): - Pleasant staff, room was clean and breakfast was really good for a continental style. No parking available, not even a nearby pay garage, forces you to use their valet service. There is a pay lot across the street but it closes at 5 so it’s useless for an overnight hotel stay. Paying over $700 for a 2 night stay, their “valet” service should be free. Location is horrible due to traffic.

• OnAir29135283998 (10/5): Jerome is a super star - I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Hyatt place in DC this week. I was there Monday through Friday. I checked out on Friday and the staff, especially the front of the house manager/ bartender. He was just a jack of all trade shout out toJerome. He was really really nice and he helped me and my colleague find places for entertainment and like just somewhere we can have a good time the first night that we were there then the second night he helpedme find somewhere to get something to eat that was close by. He was just really really nice. He made really good drinks and he even had some dance moves 🤏🏽🤏🏾🤏🏾 so you know I’d come back just because he was just really really great at his job and made me feel very welcome ….Thank you Jerome!!!!

Kamisha is a superstar employee.The hyatt chain and family should be happy to have her work in this location in washington d c.I would love to get her to Atlanta, because the hospitality, she provided could be used there! Price was incredible, given the fact that it was 1.2 miles away from center Washington ! The breakfast was quite regular. Just the ordinary. • emmacE7062XS (10/5): Exceptional Staff - A group of gfs and I came in for the Cardi B concert and we were pleasantly surprised with the service we received from David, Mo, Mike, and Jerome. They made us all feel so safe staying in the city alone and were very knowledgeable about near by attractions and restaurants and they were all very kind!! They each made our stay exceptional! I have stayed in DC many times but never at the Hyatt and this will be my new go to hotel!!

• ashleyrB548BY (10/5): Outstanding evening and overnight staff - I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and had a great experience, largely thanks to the amazing staff. I especially want to recognize Jerome, Mike, Mo, and David for going above and beyond during our stay. They showed genuine care, professionalism, and quick thinking when assisting someone in our group who needed a little extra support. They handled the situation with kindness, respect, and discretion, which truly meant a lot to us. It’s not often you come across a team that is not only efficient but also compassionate and attentive. Their actions made a stressful moment much easier, and we are very grateful. Thank you again for your outstanding service—we will definitely be back!

• E (3/5): Bad hotel. But, Jerome is helpful! - The rooms were very dirty. Our first room was 908, we checked the room to ensure it was clean. Upon lifting the covers, the sheets were dirty. There was a black stain under the right side pillow and there were fragments of hair in the sheets. Sadly, I did not take pictures of it. The couch cushion had a huge stain on it. Thankfully, Jerome came to assist. The only positive thing I can say about the hotel is their employee named Jerome. He helped us switch to another room, however, it was dirty as well. We were in room 1408. We wanted to use the plastic cups for a drink, and it had a smelly residue within the cup. Unfortunately, we were not able to get another room. Some of the towels were stained as well. However, I will say again, Jerome was the most helpful he could be and we appreciated all of his assistance during our stay. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again. It was dirty. But, the only positive review is Jerome.
