• sarahlP5443HO (2/5): Worst hotel ever. - We paid $500 for 2 nights for everything in our room to be dirty or broken. First impression was our door had a chunk missing out of it. We walk in and it smells damp and gross. The front light by the main entry flickered nonstop. The floor of the bathtub was yellow. Our hand soap was completely empty. Our lampshade on the night stand was broken off and didnt stay straight up. You had to lean it against the wall. Another lamp shade looked like someone punched it and the other was peeling. One of the curtains had a huge stain on the bottom. Assuming that was from some sort of water damage because in the same corner the trim was separating from the wall. And to top it all off our phone in our room had the cord cut. The worst hotel I've ever been to.
• Curiosity10250382748 (10/5): Nice room! Friendly staff. - We stayed at the La Quinta in Rochester MN. We had a nice room on the 4 the floor. It was clean and roomy. Big bathroom! No complaints. There's a microwave, refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. Free breakfast downstairs. Full breakfast, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, bagels toast, muffins, apples, sausage gravy, mashed potatoes (weird), fresh coffee and juices. Staff was super nice. My friend and I stayed here a month ago in a different room but same type. It was really bad. The lamp shade was totally busted up, the dresser had broken drawers. Dirty under the beds. It was a totally different experience. Even though there were issues with that room we both agreed we'd stay there again. So here we are!! And we got a great room this time!! They allow pets (for a small fee $25) I brought my Chihuahua Hickory. He was a perfect traveler. I recommend this hotel! I'd rate it a 7/10.

• wangy (2/5): Beat Down Hotel - For a newer hotel, the rooms look beat. Lots of mold in showers. Rusted bathroom door frames. My fridge was broken. Four days arguing with then, it finally froze all my food solid! Painting done by a 2 year old, they painted tiles and mirror. Dresser was sitting on shims, but still not level enough for drawers to open. Microwave didnt have a working turntable. Lampshades had holes in them. I think this room had a wrestling match! Sure was not a room to rent out. Needs lots of work La Quinta!!!!

I booked this thinking it was near the clinic for a surgery in the morning. The carpets and furniture were stained and only one ice maker on the 2nd floor was working.

Staying at La Quinta was stress-free, with easy check in and out, friendly staff, delicious hot breakfast, and the most comfortable mattresses for a great restful sleep! Parking is nearby and free. • karnaf2025 (2/5): Terrible condition beware - This hotel is in very poor condition. The lobby had an unpleasant odor and felt dingy. Our room smelled strongly of mold, and the drapes were visibly moldy with dirty carpets throughout. We tried opening the hallway windows for fresh air, but the employee smoking area was directly below, which made it even worse. This property is in serious need of upkeep and maintenance. Overall, it was much worse than expected.

Northern Minnesota offers different syrups during the holidays and more festive. This laquinta lacks seasons tidings. Breakfast, only 1 washer machine out of 4 work. The better dryer is connect to the washer machine that works. Computer doesn't work either and they do not have a sign on it so how are we supposed to know? Also the amount of noise that comes from the hallway during the weekends is ridiculous. Children running up and down the stairs, running in the hallway. Parents just letting them do whatever they please.

There were cochroaches - in the hot tub and in our room. Even with the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the doorknob, housekeeping still knocked on our door and when we didn't answer, she opened the door thinking we weren't there. The shuttle service didn't have a ramp for transporting PWD with wheelchair.

• erwas (10/5): Great stay - appreciated the cleanliness - We stayed here for a trip to Mayo Clinic. I liked that it was close enough to Mayo to drive back and forth but not too close that it felt crowded and busy. The room was super clean, the amenities were great. We didn't bring our kiddos with us, but the kiddie area in the pool was fantastic. We enjoyed watching others playing and giggling in there.
• Kristen (6/5): - The pullout couch had stained cushions. The floor under the beds was not cleaned...we foind a candy wrapper that qas not ours

• Carrie (10/5): - The room was clean. The shower did have some spots that needed to be cleaned better and tile work was attempted to be fixed, but not done the best. Breakfast was so-so. They served biscuits and gravy and it didn't seem fresh. There was a small container of what seemed to be left over of the gravy. No fruit options.
• Teffeny (10/5): - I personally thought the room smelled almost stale. But the room was mostly clean and comfy. Just what i need for a quick night stay for 2 days of doctor appointments.
• Guest (6/5): wont be back any time soon sadly - The location Had to switch rooms to begin with because air did not work called front desk she said she would come look and 20 minutes later still had not come up so had to call again and ask to just switch rooms she said yeah come down I'll give you the new keys ended up staying in room412 on 4th floor and the fridge in that room didn't work but I was too tired to move again or deal with it the room was dirty bottles under the beds very dirty under both beds swimming pool area to dark felt really uncomfortable there was not one guest in pool or area

• Alice (4/5): The hotel smell is too overpowering. - The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The location was great especially with construction around Mayo Clinic. The staff was very friendly and apologized about the fire alarms. The musty smell from the entrance all the way up to the third floor. Our stuff ended up smelling like the hotel. The fire alarms went off for at least an hour and a customer was screaming his lungs out during the whole incident and going floor to floor yelling. Hopefully, this was a learning experience for them.
• Michelle (10/5): - The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The guy in the breakfast area is so great to talk to, very kind, keeps the area very clean. Even the cleaning guy was friendly and happy, blessing your daykialways happy. k!

• Glick (3/5): Disappointing - Didn't end up staying. Parking lot was being resurfaced. Nowhere to park since I'm mobility challenged and we had luggage. Also, the smell of tar was in the air.

• Maria (10/5): - It looks like a relatively new hotel. The rooms are big and clean. I asked cor a walk in shower because it is difficult to get ina tub shower. The staff person was very nice and gave me a handicap room without chargi g me more. I will be staying here again
• Russ (8/5): My stay preference - Always my stay preference. Large comfortable rooms, very clean,. Across from IMAX theater, walking distance to Target. Shuttle service to hospital and clinic. Easy access to Broadway and shopping. Free parking.
• Joanne (6/5): - People in rooms above can be heard walking. Sounded like an elephant. Scared my cat. Staff are very caring and welcoming but loud in the course of their duties. Any way trash can be taken out a different door? Or use quieter carts?

• Whitemarsh (1/5): Quite frankly-we will not return and I left with an unclean feeling - Nothing Unclean, changed room 2x due to malfunctioning equipment and room being unclean and TERRIBLE smell!!
• Urban (10/5): Clean comfortable and convenient - The staff is always kind and friendly. The guy who stocks and cleans up in the pool room goes above and beyond his enthusiasm and energy is breathtaking for a hotel staff also the man who makes breakfast he makes our stay so much better he is kind friendly and always so nice never rude! You guys are the reason we come back time and time again also the lady cleaning the rooms!! Thank you I wish I had more money to leave you a bigger tip! Because you definitely deserve it! I’m just broke right now because I’ve been sick and off work but you do not go unseen!! Thank you for your kindness and for the clean environment you provide for us! We always stay here when we come to Rochester! We like the pool we have a 8 yr old and an almost 2 yr old and they love the pool. Good breakfast too.

• linneybinney (2/5): La k of training and knowledge of policies - My son and his girlfriend who are 18&19 called to make a reservation . It’s been a longtime dream of his to go to the Kasson truck show. They also would be celebrating their 3 year anniversary . They called and asked as they are not 21 if they can book. They were told yes due to her having a valid credit card and being Canadian. So they booked 4 nights. I told them to double check cause it’s a long way to go to find out you are roomless in the end. So they called back and glad they did cause the next person said no! The policy is 21 regardless ! They would have been hooped.. their first trip out of country together would have been bust! There went the dream to go to the truck show and their anniversary celebration. Retrain all staff so everyone has the same knowledge about policies! That would have been a nightmare for them and out lots of money ! Extremely disappointing
• Joyce (10/5): 3 generation family get away - The pools were great. The breakfast had many choices. The facilities were very clean and the staff often asked if there was anything we needed. The value for the price was excellent. Nothing.

Pool handicap accessible with a lift chair. Computer area for business needs. Microwave, iron, refrigerator coffee provided in room.

• Laura (10/5): Excellent clean budget hotel with breakfast and great facilities - Very clean and great room layout. Toiletries were nice Dove ones. This was the best budget hotel I’ve been to in a while. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Pool was fun and I enjoyed the hot tub.
