The room was clean, quiet, and had all the necessary amenities. I didn’t like that the elevator took a long time because there were so many people staying at the hotel.

After waking at 5am for a flight to La Guardia, I arrived at the hotel exhausted and not so quick mentally. Ibeth was sweet, patient, helpful, and made me smile at quite an unlikely time. Aside from the great location (a quick walk to Grand Central), the room was very nice with a view of the Empire State Building to boot. If Ibeth exemplifies the rest of the staff, then I’ll be choosing this hotel from now on.

- Matthew (3/5): I got the bad room - Location is very good. Bed was comfortable Bathroom is dirty and hasn't been cleaned properly. Shower has no seal at the bottom so the water drains directly outside. If there is no towel there, you'll find yourself stepping into a pool. Window isnt fully sealed and makes an annoying whistling sound and prevented me from sleeping.

We would especially like to highlight Ibeth’s excellent attitude and willingness to help—she was always attentive and assisted us with everything we needed in a very kind and efficient way. The hotel’s facilities are good, especially considering the New York standard. Overall, it was a comfortable and recommendable experience.

- L4929LEkarenb (4/5): Give another hotel a try - So noisy in the lobby because of construction Good location good staff rooms are micro. The bathroom is 1/3 of the size of the room. Ac does not stay on turns off and on all night with a clunking noise. Only goes down to 68 degrees and jumps back to 70 degrees for no reason. Bed is 2’ from the wall.

- kourtneym902 (10/5): First experience in NY - Overall experience was wonderful. Maria, the front desk clerk was able to accommodate our request to upgrade to a higher floor. She made sure the request was annotated and by the next afternoon we were in our new room with window view of the city. Maria was very sweet and made our stay very comfortable. - X7189HOjoes (8/5): Hilton personnel that needs to be recognized - Ruby the lady that sits outside the elevators on the first floor, andvhands out towels. She is a very pleasant, sweet kind lady greets all of your customers and tells them to have a nice day. She needs to be recognized for her courtesy. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel over a half a dozen times and she always says so glad to see you , welcome back.

We feel as if we really lucked out finding a well-priced, well-located, nice Hilton Garden Inn with available rooms so close to Times Square. From here, we could walk wherever we needed to, or to multiple subway stations. The hotel had staff at the front doors at all times, in the elevator lobby, and at the front desk. Our room was absolutely fine - clean, modern-looking, smoke-free, fully dark at night, and quiet. Elevators took some time, but that was understandable - the hotel seemed full and has over 30 stories. We found the hotel to be quiet overall, and very safe. I am so glad we stayed here.

Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly made a difference in our stay. In addition to the exceptional service, the hotel amenities are excellent and stand out compared to similar hotels in New York City. The location is also ideal — perfectly situated on 42nd Street, within easy walking distance of Times Square and Bryant Park. Highly recommended, and a special thank you again to Ibeth and Melissa for making our stay so enjoyable.
