- N (8/5): A little gem - Great staff, well priced and good location. Maybe a kettle in the room. I think the heating was off and I'm someone who gets cold easily so it would have been useful to be able to use the radiator for an hour occasionally.

- Christina (8/5): -
- Laurent (7/5): -
- David (8/5): - Homely atmosphere
- Noel (10/5): Perfect - Lovely period hotel accommodation with friendly helpful staff. Bonus of secure bike storage appreciated and beautiful meal in the hotel restaurant.
- Simonne (5/5): Promise of quaint family hotel not quite fulfilled - Outside of hotel looks quaint and is in the centre of town. Staff very friendly. I had booked hotel as was attending a week long house party in a local Chateau, which was a 5 min walk away. Very disappointed room does not resemble pics on Booking or their own website. Looks more like a hospital or nursing home. Bed not comfortable (for me) and room has musty smell. Reliant on a plug in desk fan for any ventilation, although you can fully open windows (however you then may be woken early by traffic or neighbours). For me, it was roadworks and neighbours banging shutters open. Breakfast was very basic with a lot of prepackaged products, not ‘local produce’ as represented on the hotels site. All in all, a disappointing stay and could be so much better with a few small improvements.
- Katherine (10/5): Delightful hotel in a charming town - The dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the hotel's host went out of his way to help me clean my bike (I was bikepacking in the rain and mud) which was super nice. I felt very welcomed there and would definitely recommend anyone stay there if they're in the area!
- Becky (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (7/5): Good -
- Alastair (7/5): Nice hotel but expensive food - Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Evening meal was expensive compared to other similar hotels in the area that we have stayed in. Also no kettle in room or bottled water. Being English we love to drink tea.
- David (10/5): A great value short break (5nights) holiday in a beautiful tranquil location - Excellent location for access to the Voie Verte on our E-bike holiday. Very friendly staff and Didier, Olivier and Gladys looked after us extremely well Nothing
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Céline (8/5): - Bon séjour
- Charles-and-claire (8/5): Great short stay for passerby. - Great location esp. for parking and EV charging just around the corner/ 50m. away approx. The room has a little fan, but it is a bit 'weak' and noisy - no AC.
- Charles-and-claire (8/5): Great short stay and excellent French breakfast - Excellent location in French countryside esp. with electric charging station and free parking just around the corner. No AC although it has a simple fan in every room
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Henry (8/5): Very good -
- Roger (9/5): Good location and value for money. Friendly staff! - Everything Only the bright street light outside our room window at night
- Sharon (2/5): I came to buy a house in the area but have been completely put off by the awful attitude of the locals starting with her - The man who served us on the afternoon we left was very welcoming and polite. They also let us leave our bags. The waitress is incredibly rude and very unwelcoming
- Neil (10/5): Great value for money, fantastic food and hugely charming, our third time of staying - Rustic, clean and so charming There is no lift
- Tina (4/5): Disappointing - The hotel was a pretty and charming old building. The room was ok, but there was no balcony even though we booked a room with a balcony. The restaurant was good (really nice food) and the menus are interesting. We don't understand why the receptionist (the same person worked as a waitress too) was so unfriendly and even rude to us. From the very beginning until the moment we left. She made us feel not welcome at all. That spoiled the whole experience.
- Caroline (8/5): Very good -
- Willem (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): CHALABRE is a hidden gem in the rolling countryside of the Pyrenees foothills and an excellent centre for walking and cy - Didier is an excellent chef and produces first class meals for a reasonable price. We have eaten there many times and never been disappointed. Nothing
- Rachel (7/5): Good -
- Neil (9/5): really lovely location in a beautiful ancient town. hi standard cuisine in the hotel restaurant - old fashioned and quaint in the way that only the French can there is no lift
- Verified traveler (8/5): - hotel familiar personal atento desayuno suficiente. Comida buena
- Verified traveler (10/5): Getting away from it all - You will need some patience and a good command of French to stay in this nicest spot in Chalabre, a small and forgotten, but also grand and imposing historical village in the mountains.
- Verified traveler (8/5): tres acceuillant !
