Sit down restaurants to get served from and off the menu with option for buffet style to get self-service. Coffee with barista available through out the day. Water leakage in the room from ceiling. Spotty Wifi in the room (forget about it on the areas on the property). Up charge for mistake on the booking.com reservation.

Entraba aire por el ventanal y la puerta de la habitación no cerraba bien! El World Cafe está muy a trasmano… considerando lo retirado que está de la playa a la hora del almuerzo. El Mari tiene una carta muy restringida . He estado el otros resortes y todos tienen un buffet cerca de la playa muy completo y variado.

- Lety (10/5): Recommend for all ages - Everything is very clean. The best thing is the service provided by the staff, these people are very polite and respectful they go above and beyond to assist. I love that I was seeing young teens eating and having ice cream without adult supervision. There are plenty of things to do for adults, there's a club, upscale restaurants, and an amazing spa. The sales to join some type of membership are very aggressive.

- Mario (4/5): Poor value for money. - Family friendly Poor customer service. Restaurants were not all available unless you upgraded room. Food not very good and mostly buffet only. Room service took very long time, sometimes in excess of an hour. A lot of construction and equipment issues, example our elevator would not work at times and multiple power failures, did not last long but multiple time a day. Overall not a good value for money, especially at the rates they are charging. Would not stay again.
- Larry (9/5): A family friendly resort that provides it all... - Many "all inclusive" resorts are MOSTLY all inclusive... Hyatt Dreams truly meets the high bar of "All Inclusive"... AND we did upgrade to a CLUB room which entitles us to access a private lounge with some food, computer access and top branded liquor. (Although they didn't have the Crown Royal bourbon I prefer)... The resort is children friendly and we did have our 8 year old grandson in our family group. He was in kiddie heaven. What's not to like at an elegant resort like The Hyatt Dreams? However in the tropics they do have rain squalls and there were two days where the weather impacted an otherwise ideal holiday.
- Delroy (9/5): Delroy O’Brien - It is a fantastic property. The breakfast buffet is second to none. I had a leak in the ceiling at the entrance way to my room. It was coming from either a plumbing pipe for the floor above or the air conditioning system. I brought it to the attention of front desk staff. They tried to rectify it but the leak was never resolved in the three days that I was there. Apart from that the property and my stay was great.
- Mario (4/5): Underwhelming and not good value for money. - Clean and family friendly Parts under construction. Rooms walls so thin that we could hear everything our neighbors were saying. It was like they were in the same room. The first room they put us in had a shared balcony instead of the private balcony I asked for. To make it worse the adjoining unit was under construction with construction equipment on the balcony. Asked to be moved and was moved to another building with a non working elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Elevator was back on line later that evening. Multiple power failures during our stay. Non lasted long but there did not appear to be back up generators. When I initially asked to be moved I was told that the room in the building with the broken elevator was the only one available “ take it or leave it”. I had reserved two rooms at more than 4K USD for three nights all in. Not what I expect at that price point.
- Erika (5/5): Tourist trap - The entire place us beautiful. The food is flavorless, the place is a tourist trap, it feels like once you're there you can't escape. The prices in the store there are outrageous, the prices for staying there are over the roof.

- ken (7/5): great location but dissapointing trying to meet up with our guests and family - The food, location and staff were all excellent. The rooms were very clean and modern and comfortable. Travelling for a wedding was a disappointment when you had to upgrade to premier access in an so called 'all inclusive' so you could meet friend for breakfast and afternoon snack/drinks. Even the kids could not meet at teh lazy river or flumes if not in a premier room, why would a resort do that to wedding and family parties. The drinks felt very watered down as well when drinking liquor mmmmmm!

I asked to be relocated to another room as I was not about to have to deal with flooding should it rain again. Reluctantly, the escort brought us back to the check in desk.

Shuttle service was early waiting at the resort when we left, we used the shared shuttle. The resort was great. The beach could have been improved, there was alot of seaweed on the beach throughout our stay. Restaurants were good including the buffet. Rooms were big and nice. Overall great resort, we did not travel with children, but we felt resort was very kid friendly with lots of activities for children.

- Peter Bedik (6/5): - A Deep Decline in Quality – Our Worst Dreams Stay Yet After many pleasant stays at Dreams Resorts, our recent experience post-Hyatt acquisition was a letdown, especially on my 40th birthday. While the rooms remained clean and spacious, most staff appeared indifferent, and the overall experience was disappointing. Key Issues: 1. Lack of Poolside Food Service: A major oversight for a five-star resort, requiring inconvenient walks to the buffet or restaurants, especially with young children. 2. Poor Food Quality: Expectations were already low for all-inclusive dining, but the food was often bland or inedible, with long room service waits. 3. Misleading Views: The coveted ocean views in the lobby did not translate to restaurant locations, forcing us to dine indoors away from the scenery. 4. Unsafe Water Slides: Our daughters sustained injuries due to poorly designed splash areas, making them hesitant to enjoy the facilities. 5. Dirty Pools: The pools were poorly maintained; water was often cloudy, and there were hygiene issues noted by guests. 6. Deceptive Timeshare Offers: Timeshare pitches promised "preferred" areas which were disappointing and poorly maintained. 7. Excessive Noise: Loud music from events disrupted our evenings, making rest nearly impossible. 8. Unsafe Excursions: A snorkeling tour organized by the resort posed safety risks, with strong currents endangering guests. In summary, what was once a reliable choice for family vacations has sharply declined
- Neal (10/5): - Staff and service was great. Food was pretty good, not the best but there were a lot of good options. Hibachi/Fusion, seafood, and Mexican restaurants were the best. Did not try the French restaurant. The buffet was about what you would expect, but always had things that everyone liked. The property was a bit worn in a few places but it was made up for in cleanliness and service. Housekeeping was great in the room, they seemed to come by a couple times a day and always left the room very nice. We got the cheapest room but it was still very nice, it had everything we needed and a decent sized bathroom and shower. The pools were okay, the water level was a little low for some reason. There were enough pools that it never felt too crowded. The slides and lazy river were a big hit. Kids loved the smoothie bar and the lazy river was very relaxing. The beach was okay, not perfect but much better than riviera maya. You can actually enjoy the beach here. There were some spots with very little seaweed and clear water, but varied day by day. We did spend a couple hours each day at the beach, the beach bars were very convenient. The nightly shows were great and were enjoyed by both the kids and parents. Convenient location, about 45 minutes from the airport, and very close to excursions for Isla Mujeres. Water and beach area was nicer than the riviera maya area. The area felt very safe and secluded. I would recommend this resort to families with kids of all ages.

We have a 3, 4, and 6 year old. Honestly, plan to book again which I never like to do to experience something new, but it actual gave me a break as a mom.

- Kelsey (8/5): Great hospitality, facilities, and ambiance for all inclusive resort!! - Great ambiance, facilities, and hospitality. Some of the more popular food options, such as the hibachi restaurant were not accessible. The reservation allotment was extremely limited with only a one hour window for securing a spot and nearly impossible to secure a reservation. As a result we did not get to try it out during our 5-day due to no availability. Also, there wasn’t strict enough enforcement of adult areas/amenities vs children. I understand this is a family friendly resort but often children monopolized many of the large pool areas to include the swim up bars. As an adult, I shouldn’t have to wait for children to clear the area to get a seat at the bar or a drink. They should not be permitted on the bar areas at the pool.

The food was outstanding. Lounging by the many pools and swim up bars were great. Romantic dinner on the beach was a great date night too.

Drink service continuous regardless of where you were. The food was 8/10. The beach was 8/10. There is a lot of walking because this is a big resort, so be prepared for that. Overall, I would recommend this resort again and again.
- Molly (6/5): - Wouldn’t return. Too many things need to be fixed. Had some great service from some workers, then some workers did absolutely nothing but ignore things. Food was ok. Places said open, most were closed while we visited. Kids club wasn’t planned out good at all your younger teens were with toddlers. Didn’t even use clubs due to them not wanting to do the baby things. Needs improvement with age appropriate things…. We had an ok time, just wouldn’t ever return.

We did enjoy our stay! We will surely be back to Mexico!

- Alyson (10/5): - Our trip started off on bumpy due to the number of large parties at the resort. This made getting into a restaurant for dinner almost impossible. Then we met Onell. Onell went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was not only perfect but also memorable. We have never met a staff member at a resort like Onell. He made sure our family had a perfect dinner every night. Not only did he make sure we had a fantastic dining experience but he also was physically present every evening to make sure all went smoothly. The entertainment staff was amazing. Luigi, Brayan, Antonio and Eduardo brought the fun every single day. They made sure our kids were involved even when there were many high school seniors participating. I cannot say enough about them. They were amazing.

The attention to detail and the service was absolute perfection. starting as soon as you get off the bus and walk into the resort. Juan welcomed us with a margarita and then escorted us to the preferred club where we checked in. They have a beautiful bar and lounge area were you can sit, relax and get a bite to eat. The Suite was beautiful overlooking the whole resort and ocean views. They have great restaurants, entertainment (theater, club and bars). We will definitely come back for another stay.

Staff at front desk locked us out of our rooms without any communication/warning for “non payment”, due to THEIR MISTAKE by not taking a credit card at check in. One of our group was double charged and had to repeatedly go to the front desk without having the situation resolved satisfactorily. Rooms promised were not given. Front desk staff were very uncooperative. Other staff throughout the resort were wonderful!

We probably had 1 great sandwich and that was it. Drinks were better than the food. Service was very good mostly with the exception of the supervisor during our check-in. He was not patient at all in hearing our concern about the amount due. However, the actual reception rep helping us was very patient and very helpful. The spa steam/sauna area was fine. Lazy river was adequate, nice and quiet because it's hidden away. The bali beds are poorly placed in the Preferred Area laid out in the back of the beach loungers behind the dune, on top of each other, so privacy really. Overall, this is a beautiful property to relax, but again overpriced for just that purpose. Staying here for a wedding was convenient, which what I guess we paid for.

We spent $45000 for family of three(10 people), she said one coconut drink per family and gave only one. It was humiliated. The rest of the staff was polite and respectful.

But this is so called family friendly resort. Most of the activities are quite far from the resort. I am going to try other resort next time
- Kristen (8/5): - Property has a great layout and lots of pools. It has a good set up for couples and families. The resort needs to put some attention to the pools and conditions of the pools. There are many spots where the pools need repair or repairs are failing and create areas where you can get cut. Tiles are loose and one night a lady tripped and fell to her face as a result. The food was quite good and the drinks were also made well. The preferred aspect gave us access to the sit down breakfast which was worth it. The lazy river was gross so dont get the upgrade for that alone. Overall a great time but room for improvement.

We sent several other guests his way because his service was BEYOND AMAZING! Sadly, some of the bar tenders at the swim up bars were not friendly. We were told no a few time when asking for drinks and met another couple who had the same experience. We also wished we were able to get drinks before 10am like a mimosa with breakfast.
