I liked the fact that the owner gave us a tour of the room and answered all of our questions. Also, this hidden secret of Eureka Springs is only 1 mile from downtown. Sherwood Court is worth the money 100%!

Elle (10/5): - Sherwood Cottage is the prime location for any activities near Eureka Springs. The distance to hike locations, Eureka Springs downtown, and really amazing restaurants was great. The cottage was adorable, clean, well kept and stocked with all the amenities we needed for our trip. Patrick the owner gave us a tour of the property prior to letting us stay and was friendly and informative. This place was amazing and if we decided to visit Eureka Springs again. We'll be staying at Sherwood Cottage again!

The entire atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. We were so sad to leave our little cottage and will definitely be back!

Our little Pappion enjoyed the peace and quiet as well with some space in the rear for him to walk around. The cottage was cute and had everything possible. Not the typical cottage! Filled with plenty of nice things. The bed was perfect and plenty of blankets and pillows. One perk we were unaware of is the hosts cook breakfast items for you and you have a chance to sit and chat along with other guests! Very impressive! We wish them many many years of continued success

Teri (10/5): Adorable vintage motor court in a vintage town! - Absolutely amazing vintage place to stay in Eureka Springs. A renovated 60's motor court with several cottage and rooms. The new owners are attentive and thoughtful. If you want the full experience of this old timey resort town, stay here! Reasonable prices, immaculate room. The rooms are small, but well appointed with everything you need. There are a couple of picnic areas. No free breakfast or pool, but adorable and affordable.

But this place has been updated, is quaint and the owners are very personable and friendly. The best customer service. Some very minor stuff, mattresses a little hard but never really found a hotel mattress I like. Will definitely stay there again given the value and customer service.

We stayed in the motel area with attached rooms they were very clean. The rooms were small but held a bed, bureau, bathroom sink, microwave and small refrigerator. There are fire pits nearby that they have set up so we could enjoy a nice fire at the end of the day.

Tammy (10/5): Charming piece of history - This is a really quaint little 50's motel, far from your standard hotel room. The sign read clean and serene and that was true. I really enjoyed having our own little cottage, with personal parking spot, jetted tub and so much charm.

Verified traveler (2/5): Absolutely DISGUSTING! Please DO NOT stay at here! - Dirtiest place we've ever seen. Owner called at 7 p.m. to see where we were because he wanted to leave and couldn't wait 15 more minutes for our arrival. He left our room unlocked with the key on the table. Very unsafe! We knew right away we wouldn't stay. Tiny room with awful decor. Bed felt like a rock. Very small and old tube tv which you couldn't hear over the extremely loud and rattling window air conditioner. Bathroom was so small that you had to squeeze around the toilet to get to the sink. There was even a notice on the tiny table of instructions on how to use the toilet because their plumbing is so old. Cobwebs in all corners. Carpet gross. A fake wall in the closet (build to hide some pipes) fell when I touched it. We did not stay the night even though we knew we would be charged. Supposed to stay two nights. Returned the key the next day. Told the "desk clerk" that we didn't stay and wouldn't be staying. He said okay, he would only charge us for the one night. We left. He then called us later to say the "owner" said he "let us off too easy and had to charge us the 2nd night - even though we were not staying". I went back for the key (If I was paying I had the right) and found out the "desk clerk" is the owner and was using his wife (the other owner) as the excuse to charge us. Only admitted he was the owner when I requested to speak to "the owner". Bad customer service. Bad business "desk clerk" owner. He finally agreed not to charge the 2nd night. We'll see.

mary (10/5): Pre-honeymoon retreat. - We loved our trip to Sherwood Court. The owner was so kind and helpful. He gave us some great places to explore and greeted us each morning with fresh coffee and bananas. The rooms were very nice and comefotable I will happily stay in these wonderful cottages again.

David (8/5): - I was surprised to find last-minute availability when I reserved two rooms at Sherwood Court because of a blues festival in town that weekend. The pictures made this motel look outdated, but I needed the rooms. When I arrived, I was immediately impressed with how cute this little place is. I was greeted by the inn keeper and she was very friendly and explained where I could find the room key and wifi password. She even let me check in a few hours before check in time. The rooms were larger than I expected and very clean. There is a little sitting area outside the office with several chairs and a swing so you can sit and visit. I was a little disappointed by the "continental breakfast" that was practically nonexistent and the rock solid bed, but overall I enjoyed my stay here. I definitely recommend this cute little inn!

We opted for Sherwood Court based on price and location. We couldn't have been happier! The price was right. The location was great - a quick drive to downtown or a long walk. We stayed in room 10 (not a cabin) and it was great. It had been renovated and was very clean. We saw the rooms our friends stayed at & our was better! Plus we saved hundreds of dollars - literally! Highly recommend!!

We stayed in the log cabin with the heart shaped jacuzzi for our anniversary get away. Bryan & Lil made sure we had everything we could possibly need including candles all around the jacuzzi, wine opener as well as wine glasses, extra towels and beautful scenery. We were able to peek at each of the cottages before leaving and now we are looking forward to coming back because any one them would make a perfect home away from home.

Scott (8/5): Delightful motor hotel... - Great owner operator and quaint settings, very 50s road trip motel. We had the cabin and enjoyed it but realized its probably best for a younger couple lol! After all the years, floor slopes and some controls are low. We’re in our 70s so some of that was problematic. However, the front room was so cute and the fireplace so delightful we certainly enjoyed it! Has all the amenities - mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, fully updated bathroom and parking right by the door. The cabin is close to the main road and I worried about road noise but it really wasn’t an issue.
Deborah Elkins (2/5): Total misrepresented! - It was beyond disappointing, ruin 6 year anniversary trip. The room was terrible nothing like pictures! Bed was hard as a rock, 1 sheet 1 quilt and 4 flat pillows. Even had instructions for flushng toilet! Made us pay 2 nights for 1 even though they had rooms available second night. Room was so bright from outside lights it was like sleeping with lights on.
Jerry (10/5): Cozy cabin feel - I loved the 1930's original cabin. Very unique and comfortable. The owners are friendly and the room was very clean. There is even a gas fireplace for those cool fall evenings. We will definitely be back.
William (6/5): GIVE A THOUGHT TO SHERWOOD COURT - we had a 1 night stop over and found the accommodation suited our needs in all aspects although it is close to the highway so expect noise from passing traffic at most times

Marilyn (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised - The Courts were a pleasant surprise as reservations were made via cell phone the day before with no prior knowledge.. The quality of service, cleanliness and all over amenities left little to be desired...the location is excellent.. I have no desire to stay any place else on my return..hopefully I can get reservations there again on my next visit...

Glenn (10/5): Charming place - We were pleased with the cleanliness, amenities in each room, the friendly and helpful hosts, and the charm- not a typical motel! We loved the outdoor areas outside of the rooms. Very nice- we would stay again if we revisit Eureka Springs!
Sara shaw (10/5): A lil slice of heaven! - Best place to stay! Quiet and so cozy, very quaint cottages! The owners were awesome! We had our own private patios surrounded by trees and flowers and wild life! Short distance from Eureka Springs!
Rhonda (10/5): Loved it and it is Close to Downtown - This was a great little cottage and the staff was amazing, it is close to down town, we will for sure stay here again on our next trip to Eureka Springs :)

Rhonda Reese (10/5): Nice, friendly place - The place is older, but seems to be well maintained. Our room had new carpet, and it smelled clean. It had a small TV, but we did not mind, as we didn't get back to our room until late and didn't have intentions of watching TV for long. The owners are VERY friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again, if we are in the area.

Rice's (10/5): Quaint and clean - close to the action! - We were on an extended personal/business stay to the Eureka Springs area. Bryan and Lil were the PERFECT hosts and our new friends! The room was comfortable and clean, stocked with everything we needed. The location was excellent, close to the main activities in Eureka Springs, but still in a laid back setting. We will DEFINITELY be staying at Sherwood Court again!!!
Verified traveler (10/5): super clean - '50's vintage motel, nicely upgraded and extremely clean and well kept. the gardens, gazebo and landscaping were all beautiful. this is a mom 'n' pop operation. The owners used to run a landscaping and greenhouse business in Tulsa. The grounds reflect that.

Gloria (10/5): - Just stayed one night, been a very long time since I was in Eureka Springs,things have changed a lot. Our stay at Sherwood Courts was very pleasant, clean and comfortable room. No frills, that's the way I like it, I just want a clean, comfortable, quiet place to spend the night and not have to pay for frills I won't use.
Elizabeth (6/5): Convenient and inexpensive. - We didn't have one of the cottages, but rather the regular hotel double room. It smelled rather musty when we arrived. The innkeeper was not able to be there when we arrived, but called us and let us know what our room number was and that the room would be unlocked with the key inside. That was unusual, but appreciated, as we were the only guests at the hotel that night. It was just your basic hotel room, nothing particularly notable. It was fine for a one-night stay.

Stephen (10/5): Great hotel and wonderful service - I made one of their cottages my home last week and it was an amazing experience. The room was cosy and comfortable and the owners went out of their way to provide an amazing service. Bryan even drove me to the local store to buy some supplies when I first arrived (I came from overseas with no car). Such a peaceful and quiet area too but not too far out of downtown Eureka springs. I have no doubt that i'll be back again some time in the near future.

Terry (8/5): Cute and clean - The room was nicely furnished and very clean. The motel was an old motor court but was well kept. There was a trolley stop which made it convenient to use.
Verified traveler (6/5): Worst bed ever!! - The owner was very rude!!! we had our little dog with us. Never brought her in the room at all!!! we were only there to sleep. We got back to our room at midnight and she went in her crate which was in our vehicle. The lady went on and on about pet allergies of the lady staying in another room! Our dog wasn't in her room unless she went and got her out of the car! So I don't know what that had to do with anything. We had prepaid for 2 nights. At around 3pm the day after our 1st night she evicted us!! . I have never been evicted before . And she sent us an email doing so! Worse place ever! Very outdated and very uncomfortable mattress and pillows.

Tony (8/5): Cosey Convenience - A step back in time with a cottage court setting and friendly hospitality are what you will find here with a convenient location and front door link to local bus transportation so important in this destination. This motel invites relaxation and provides many on-site enclaves to sit back in a swing or chair and watch the world fly by. Shangrila it is not with a few minor noise distractions but a place of repose it is and available for anyone who desire a change of pace.

Jeff (10/5): Making plans to go back. - It was a great stay. Beautiful, secluded nooks to drink your coffee in the morning. Bryan even provided wine glasses for us in the evening. Black Bass hiking trail starts right across the street.

Tiffany (10/5): Great, inexpensive place close to downtown. - They were friendly. The room was quaint and clean with a mini fridge and microwave. Hairdryer was provided. The grounds were lovely. Brian gave me a recommendation for breakfast and it was great.
Jennifer (10/5): Cozy, peaceful, Relaxing Stay - The only complaint I have is not a complaint of the quality or the stay, they have FIRM beds, and with myself and my daughter, we have to have softer beds. So needless to say, we hurt and had a hard time sleeping due to that.
