The only down fall for our stay was the nearby construction works that worked even though the weekend. When sitting by the pool to relax, we could constantly hear drills/machinery sometimes until 7pm.

- Can (8/5): Die Villa ansich und die Lage sind durchaus empfehlenswert, um Essen und Sonstiges sollte extern gekümmert werden. - Die Villa war sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage war recht zentral und doch ziemlich ruhig in der Nacht. Die Anlage war gepflegt und das Personal überwiegend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Massage im Spa war sehr angenehm. Generell das Essen, jedoch speziell das Frühstück, des Café Kubu war eher enttäuschend. Es gab zwar eine breite Auswahl, geschmacklich jedoch eher mäßig. Nasi Goreng schmeckte eher mexikanisch, die Säfte waren eher etwas wässrig und zusätzlich gesüßt. Zudem hat die kooperierende Wäscherei ein Kleidungsstück ruiniert.

- IzzyB88 (10/5): Peaceful villa in a great location - We loved the peaceful surroundings which are only a 5 minute walk to central Seminyak and Bintang supermarket. Our hosts went above and beyond to make the fish pond safe for our toddler as we hasn’t realised there was a pond in the villa when booking. Staff were so kind and friendly. The villa was so comfortable and felt like home. It was the perfect place for our little family to retreat from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak.

- James (9/5): Wonderfully peaceful and a true authentic Balinese Villa in Seminyak - The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were beautifully dark at night, which meant we had some of the best sleep we’ve had in accommodation in a long time. We were extremely happy with this. The overall atmosphere of the property is wonderfully peaceful and serene. Villa #6 was simply stunning and absolutely perfect for us. The private pool was fantastic, and we especially loved the indoor bathrooms, which was one of the reasons we chose Villa #6 as it helped keep bugs away while still maintaining that beautiful Balinese villa feel. The dining experience could benefit from a slightly wider variety and perhaps extended opening hours. That said, there were plenty of convenient options to order food in nearby, and the meals we did have at the villa were enjoyable. Expanding the breakfast selection and refining the in-room dining service a little would make the experience even better. The atmosphere of the property feels like it may now cater more to long-stay travellers or digital nomads who prefer a quieter, more independent stay. For returning guests like us, it would be lovely to see a little more of the warm Balinese hospitality and guest interaction that made our previous visits so memorable. The Wi-Fi connection was also inconsistent during our stay, and improving this would be very helpful, particularly since it’s used to communicate with reception and order in-room dining. Overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and still consider the villas a beautiful and peaceful place to experience Seminyak.

- Tremmie (10/5): Perfect, graag volgende keer weer! - Villa Kubu (nummer 7) was de beste accomodatie van ons verblijf van 3 weken op Bali. De omgeving kenden we al, o.a. op deze locatie hebben we hier ook geboekt, je zit er rustig, met in de directe omgeving (soms zelfs op het complex zelf) spa's, laundry's, restaurantjes en supermarktjes. De villa zelf lag in een mooie tuin met privé zwembad, er zijn goede ligbedden bij het zwembad, twee grote overdekte buitenbedden en een zitje bij een klein keukentje met koffie- en theevoorzieningen. De kamer zelf is ruim, leuk ingericht en comfortabel, er is een goed bed, mooie binnen- en buitenbadkamer en apart een toilet (ook buiten). Verder is de verlichting ruim voldoende en sfeervol, is er tv met netflix, wat heerlijk is om 's avonds in bed nog een filmpje te kijken. Ook de airco werkt prima. Bij regen (wij hadden behoorlijk wat) kun je op het terras de rolgordijnen naar beneden doen, wat de ergste regen buiten houdt. Wat er dan toch op het terras ligt, komt de staff met alle liefde dweilen en droog maken. Bij het Kubu café kun je heerlijke dingen bestellen die je daar kunt gebruiken of die naar je villa kunnen worden gebracht. De staff is heel vriendelijk en professioneel, communicatie gaat veelal via whatsapp en daar wordt direct op gereageerd. Elke dag wordt er schoongemaakt, worden handdoeken (ook de badhandoekken voor bij het zwembad) verwisseld en het bed opgemaakt. Ook komt de staff dagelijks in de middag spuiten tegen muggen en een spiraal aansteken. Je merkt dat overal over nagedacht is, wij hebben het hier heerlijk gehad. Wij zouden niets kunnen verzinnen.

Heerlijk! - De accomodatie heeft een mooie ligging: Dicht bij winkels en supermarkt, dicht bij het strand. Toch rustig gelegen in een mooie groene omgeving. De keuken was minimaal uitgerust. Deze heeft een elektrisch kookplaatje met maar 2 pitten die heel langzaam warm worden. Ook misten wij een broodrooster. De keuken is klein in vergelijking met de rest van de accommodatie.

Unfortunately the villas need to get a major update and beds are not as comfortable. Would only recommend if this is the last option. Zircon needs to be replaced. New beds! Bathroom is outside - don't go during the rain season. Knifes were missing, coffee cups were broken and they didnt know what a chopping board is.

The villa looked tired and in need of modernisation, the wooden decking was uneven and had screws sticking up or missing, the bath tub and jets had dirt and grime in and around them and was cracked and patched together with tape. The fridge was leaking water when the door was opened and there were stains on the walls in the lounge area. The overall condition was very poor.

Cabana to lay in and relax, sun loungers, huge aircon sleeping and living area. The outside bathroom is huge and having a shower while watching the fish in the fish pond was just so relaxing. We also had google Tv which gave us movies, music and Netflix which we have never had in bali that actually works. To top it off the Kubu cafe which feels like a personal restaurant just for the villas had the best menu food we have ever eaten in Bali. Normally we would eat in different places but the food was so good here we didn’t want to eat at other places. Kubu villas are a few minutes walk to Bintang supermarket. Nice 20 minute walk to the beach. It’s a great location and so quiet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

- Lakeisha (4/5): - I stayed in Villa 9 at Villa Kubu in Seminyak. While the villa itself looked nice and was visually well-maintained, the overall experience was disappointing. A last-minute change in my plans meant I had a third guest,a child, for just two days. But we stayed because it was nonrefundable. Even though I had rented the entire villa, I was charged an additional $30 for a towel and blanket, and then they suggested a charge 250K IDR per day for breakfast for the third person. This felt excessive and arbitrary, especially since no menu item cost that much. There were also concerns around cleanliness. The bed sheets had a stain on them, and I noticed a random brown mark near the toilet, which was unsettling, considering the tile was grey. I couldn’t be sure what it was, but it raised concerns. Housekeeping only came every two days. Breakfast was included but just average, and you can find much better food outside the villa for cheaper. Sadly, out of the three places I stayed in Bali, this had the worst customer service and was the least accommodating. I expected better, especially from a boutique-style property.
- Catherine (9/5): Gorgeous, didn’t want to leave! - Location was great, very close to Seminyak’s Main Street but totally quiet and peaceful. The huge outdoor sitting area was a beautiful place to relax and read a book, or just to get out of the heat for a bit and the pool was a great size and lovely to dip in and out of. Beds and pillows were really comfy too. I really recommend trying a Shiva massage, as it was one of the best I’ve had. Breakfast wasn’t included so we used the on-site cafe, but unfortunately the food wasn’t good. I ordered a croissant, which you can’t really go wrong with, but it tasted of soap. Also two portions of packet jam were extra and cost as much as the croissant! Over all it was much more expensive than going to a cafe on the Main Street. We also didn’t get the advertised discount on food or spa treatment as they were for walk-ins, not guests which was a little strange. I have to say it didn’t detract from the whole experience though. It’s a great little place to stay and I wish we were there for longer.

De opzet van onze villa (#999) was zeer ruim met mooie relaxbanken en zitstoelen rondom het privé zwembad alsmede een vijvertje met koi vissen die je zelf kon voeden. De kamers waren ruim, maar miste wat sfeer. De massages waren ronduit super (dank Elva -vraag om haar- en Risma). Dit was de beste van 5 massages die we op onze rondreis in Bali hebben gehad, sterker nog, beter dan we ooit hebben gehad. Wifi was uitstekend. De kamers waren ruim maar miste wat sfeer. Het ontbijt was goed, maar niet het beste. En Kubu cafe sluit al om 18u. Als je daarna wat wilt eten kan je niets meer bestellen en moet je wat bij de pizzeria in de straat bestellen.

Cleaning and fresh linens every second day, gardener and pool cleaned as well. Bed was a little hard, so I didn't sleep great... but that's my personal opinion.

- tuna (9/5): It is one of the best place i stayed in Bali. - Very clean, well maintained, nice staff. It is certainly very comfi and worth to the money. I strongly recommend this villa complex. I booked the villa the day before my travel and received a text on the way that there is a construction nearby and could because bit noisy. It was not mentioned on the booking platform and yes, it was unbearably noisy. After some communication with the management, they accepted to change my villa. It was very nice of them and customer oriented approach but It should have been mentioned transparently on the platform. And please stop stressing people before the c/out. I received a text the day before asking me to leave latest at 11.00 am and i confirmed by replying the text. Then, another text at 9.00 am in the morning, then again at 10.00 am and finally a guy appeared at the door for the reminder at 10.30. You can bug the customers who are delayed to c/ out, but others expect a little respect and peace.
