- Nicy (8/5): Beautiful, convenient. - It’s so close to the museum district… and a walking fistance to centraal.. the staff are so kind and there is a beautiful bar space that you can hangout + kitchen if you want to store/ warm your food. Like any other hostel… it is so weird being quiet in the room haha. You are at the mercy of what vibes you find.. the bathrooms are outside the hostel room.. so you must plan well.

- Lisa (6/5): - Personnel sympathique, présent quand on a besoin. Ils rendent le lieu encore plus chaleureux. Localisation très sympa. Juste à côté d’un immense parc et à quelques pas de l’hyper centre. Pas d’endroits calme pour s’installer dans les parties communes. Il y a tout le temps de la musique assez forte. L’hostel semblait nettoyé mais aurait besoin d’un peu de rénovation pour être vraiment propre (par exemple, moisissure importante dans la douche de la chambre). Ces éléments pourraient être mieux tolérés si le rapport qualité prix était correct : 350€ pour 3 jours en réservant 2 mois à l’avance.

- Ksenija Spasojević (9/5): - First time staying in hostel. It was fine. Clean, nothing stinks, nothing disgusting. Tough with private space, but it's a hostel, what to expact. A lot of stairs to get up to the room, like really, a lot, no lift. Nice bar at frontdesk, and even smoking room within a hotel. Very convinient. Double beds is a nice feature for couples.

- Olívia (5/5): Hostel ok, mas não ficaria de novo - O hostel é bem social, tem uma localização incrível, bem centralizada e em frente ao Vondelpark. A equipe é muito legal, gentil e solícita, adorei que nos ofereceram a opção de guardar nossas malas nos lockers após o check-out. As camas são ok, confortáveis, e o café da manhã também é ok. Também gostei de que, apesar do hostel ter um bar embaixo e ser bem barulhento, os quartos tem um bom isolamento, o que permite que dê para deitar mais cedo e descansar. No geral, acho que é um bom lugar para quem viaja sozinho, procura um party hostel, está viajando leve só com mochila e vai passar pouco tempo. O sistema de banheiros é péssimo. Os chuveiros são separados dos sanitários, então o problema não é necessariamente a separação, porque já estive em hostels que também funcionavam dessa forma. O problema é que são poucos banheiros/chuveiros e o hostel é cheio de escadas, o que levava a situação de eu estar precisando muito usar o banheiro e ter que subir e descer escadas procurando um que não estivesse muito sujo, ocupado, interditado ou misteriosamente trancado. Fiquei no segundo andar e não tinha nenhum banheiro disponível, um estava sempre trancado e o outro estava em manutenção. Esse foi o problema maior e que mais gerou frustração, junto com as mil escadas (que são estreitas e muito íngremes). Senti muita falta tanbém de cortinas nas camas e de espaços comuns além do bar/área de fumo. O hostel me passou uma sensação geral de aperto, pelos corredores e escadas muito estreitos e a falta de áreas comuns mais amplas.

- Owain (8/5): Overall good. - Good beds very comfy pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good amount of space in lockers. Room size was good. Clean enough in rooms. Key access easy enough. Location good next to vondelpark. 8 flights of stairs for rooms that are supposedly premium compared to 0 flights for the less expensive rooms. Toilets quite small and single cubicles, got very busy in mornings, felt more like sitting in a cupboard. Only 3 toilets on a given floor of over 20 people at least. Paid, time limited lockers to store baggage after checkout.

- Carl (8/5): Great little care-free fun stay - Exactly what a hostel should be. Fun, friendly and clean enough. I stayed here 8 years ago and came back at the weekend to find it has been freshened up but still have the same vibe as all those years ago. I am 35 now so hostels aren't really for me anymore but Flying Pig stepped up to the mark as I needed quick accomodation for a couple of nights. Considering I would prefer privacy and maybe something more up-market nowadays, I was happy with my stay and would do it again under the same circumstances. Shout out to the awesome staff who were very friendly and helpful. If I was early 20s again I would be here several times a year. Again, I'm 35. Hostels are great when you're younger where as I prefer a little more privacy and quiet. However, you can't expect this so much at a hostel and I wouldn't say there any negatives.

Todo un un desastre, me robaron en mi habitación, un hombre tomando alcohol todos los días, las habitaciones sin ventilación, la música del bar todo el tiempo alta, no hay lugares para estar en paz, los empleados todos joven mal educados, fumados marihuana y con formas y contestaciones pésimas, las chicas de limpieza mal educadas y los tres varones con muy malos tratos, jamás volvería a este lugar, nadie se hizo cargo, encima al Otro día dejé la habitación y al retirarme me olvidé mis cosas en el baño y me las tiraron! NO TE RECOMIENDO ESTE LUGAR ! No hay espacio cómodos ni podes estar tranquilo, la música a todo volumen nunca para y no hay un solo lugar para sentarme y poder comer en paz! Llevo años viajando por el mundo y jamás vi un hostel con tal mala atención, a nadie le importa nada, tene mucho cuidado si te quedas acá

- cauntay (7/5): Accomodating staff. Goo job! - Near to the bus stop direct to the airport. Nearby you find many museums. As well as the vondelpark The facility dont have lift, instead narrow stairs that you must be take extra care for your steps. To those who has mobilization issue i wont recommend the place other than that it was absolutely good.

- Tina (7/5): - El lugar está algo céntrico, también estába limpio, y las personas que trabajan en el lugar fueron bastante amables Los días que me tocó alojarme solo estaba disponible un baño, eso fue un poco incómodo porque eran bastantes habitaciones en ese mismo piso, y creo que algo a considerar también es que hay demasiadas escaleras y no hay ascensor, así que si llevas mucho equipaje, será un poco incómodo 🤭

- Stephen (2/5): Awful stay - I didn’t really like anything about the property, it was really over priced for the money I spent to stay there. My first and last time to stay in a Hostel anywhere in the world. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned everyday considering there at least 10 people sharing this room and all the facilities. I have autism and this atmosphere for me wasn’t easy for me to cope with and there was nowhere else available to stay at the time so I had no choice but to stay.

It was comfy, friendly also free morning coffee really got me:) Toilets and showers were small but okay i guess that is casual around Netherlands.
