- Evelyne (9/5): Gemütliche Unterkunft in zentraler Lage - Die Lage in einem sehr ruhigen und sicheren Quartier sowie das ausgesprochen freundliche Personal, das sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert und uns zudem viele hilfreiche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Genua gegeben hat. Die Fenster sind mit Vorhängen versehen, die für mehr Privatsphäre sorgen, den Raum allerdings etwas abdunkeln. Dieses Ambiente ist jedoch typisch für viele italienische Hotelzimmer.

- Giacomo (8/5): Nel complesso va bene, da evitare per chi ha il sonno leggero - Mi è piaciuta la pulizia, la posizione, i servizi della camera come asciugacapelli, asciugamani, frigo, tv, bollitore con tisane, stanza comunque bella grande. Inoltre la gentilezza del proprietario è da 10 e lode, si vede che è una brava persona. Non mi è piaciuta l'insonorizzazione delle camere, sentivo la tv della camera accanto, sentivo tutte le voci e i passi molto forti di chi transitava nel corridoio o i rumori di apertura delle porte delle altre stanze, in quanto porte di legno datate, apertura a chiave e ogni mandata si sentiva come se fosse fatta accanto di un metro... porte per nulla insonorizzate. Non mi è piaciuta la signora straniera della reception che ho telefonato dalla camera per chiedere la password del wifii e con un italiano parlato male mi risponde "scendi e vienitela a prendere" con un tono bello sgorbutico. Alla fine sono uscito di stanza e l'ho letta su un foglio attaccato nel corridoio.

- Rüdiger (9/5): Meine Frau hatte einen runden Geburtstag, den wir in Genua gefeiert haben - die Nähe zur Stadt, freundlicher Vermieter die Parkplatzsituation. Wir konnten unser Fahrzeug zwar am Hotel stehen lassen, mussten jedoch bei Abreise Tetris spielen, um auszuparken.

The room was very specious and had quite modern upgrades, such as an extensive shower set up. Fabio was the kindest, he let me in seamlessly, even if I arrived after the check in hour and made me great coffee in the morning. The property is very nice, but feels a bit neglected and needs an upgrade. The bed was not comfortable, because both mattresses had sunk.

- . (8/5): Tolles Hotel, man kann nicht meckern. - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war sauber und das Hotelnist gut gelegen. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und waren gut ausgestattet. Ich war mit Kind dort. Man konnte zu Fuß durch die Gassen zum Hafen laufen von wo man viele Unternehmungen starten konnte. Der Bahnhof Brignole ist ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hitel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze. Die Parkplätze auf der Straße kosten für 12 Stunden über die EasyparkApp 30 Euro. Ohne die dafür erhobenen Bearbeitungsgebühr knapp 3,50€ weniger. Das finde ich recht teuer, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts.

- Josianne (7/5): Good - The level of service received was excellent. The staff was exceptional, always attentive and friendly and gave us great suggestions. The only minor issue was the slow Wi-Fi but it was not an issue for us.
- Lynn (7/5): Good budget friendly hotel with excellent staff - It was basic and clean. The host Fabio is outstanding. He tries very hard to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. His passion for his home city is also very evident. The hotel is in a pretty good location to visit the town but it's probably a taxi to the hotel if you arrive by public transport i.e. train. Overall, it's a reasonable place if you are on a budget and wish to visit the city of Genova. The air-conditioning may cause you a few issues if you are a light sleeper (fan noise) at least in our room.

The place is not perfect but the owner(s) attitude makes it special. Spacious ,clean room, with large bed, a bit off from the center, up on a slightly upward going road but still walking distance away from / to the old harbor. Very quiet apart from occasional noise from the street. There were several smaller things - eg. not well or at all functioning units inc. the shower cabin or desk light - overall we had a really good stay and we appreciated the extra miles that the owner(s) made for us to have a comfortable stay.
