We could keep our bags at reception until our train which was late at night and could sit at the dining area and use the bathrooms which really was a godsend. • Allison (3/5): BEDBUGS and gaslighting - The location is great. I woke up after my first night there and had weird red spots all over my face, arms, and back. I thought that I was perhaps having an allergic reaction. I took benedryl that night. When I woke up the second morning, my collection of weird red spots had doubled. They were not mosquito bites, they were not an allergic reaction, they were bedbugs. I confirmed this with a trip to the pharmacy and a video call with a friend of mine who experienced a bedbug infestation due to her disgusting roommate a few years ago. At checkout, I let the clerk know that my room (255- avoid it like the plague) had a bedbug infestation. I was told that they were mosquito bites. They are not- when I get bitten by mosquitoes the bites are itchy AF and swell. I repeatedly told the clerk that I just wanted to save the next guest from this disgusting and blotchy fate, and was repeatedly blown off. Bedbugs are gross. They do not belong in nice hotels, and hotel staff should take notification of an infestation seriously instead of gaslighting the guests that inform them of a problem so that they can fix it.

• Marcelo (9/5): - Location is exceptional, half way between Ponte Rialto and Piazza San Marco. The hotel is old and small but very cozy and perfecty conserved. Staff is very friendly. Buffett breakfast is good. Price was amazing for an expensive city like Venice. I think is time to update the iron keys that must be left at the front desk as in the old times. Breakfast is good, however it could be superb with few extra things.

• PC (8/5): Nice boutique hotel - but some drawbacks - The location is terrific. It is Minutes from Rialto Bridge, the Airport water bus and Saint Mark Square. The facility does not have an elevator which should be known by people who have mobility issues. I ended up having insect bites on my arms legs and face. I think was from bedbugs.

Rooms were essential but very clean. Breakfast was varied with nice sandwiches, eggs and different flavour croissants. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room was quite small, but not a problem if you are planning to spend the day exploring Venice. Bed was comfortable but more of a queen size rather than king. Lots of mosquitos in the area so better keep the windows closed at all times. Quality price is ok considering how expensive the city is.

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk told us that booking.com was hacked and that the hotel had no rooms for us. It was such a bad experience. It was late in the evening. We had to go into the streets again and looked for other places for the night.
