Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good value for the price - 3 min walk to the beach in front of the grotto. Our room (303) was big with 2 queen beds. No elevator so take a lower floor if you have trouble with stairs. There was a leak in our bathroom ceiling from the roof when it rained.
- RUMI (8/5): 価格重視ならば最高 - 滞在中雨がひどかった際に、バルコニーのドアから水漏れがありました。またドア全般にきしみが激しかったと思います。
- Verified traveler (2/5): Old and needs a total renovation - I actually would like a refund from this stay. The taxes and fees/surcharges were almost the price of the room itself. Can hotels.com please let me know why this is? In addition, there was no hot water available. It was the most uncomfortable hotel I've stayed in. Would not recommend this place one bit. I've been meaning to contact hotels.com about possible getting a refund for this stay. The room was old, everything looked run down and needs a total renovation. The staff was great but I wish they would've been upfront about not having hot water, I would've canceled my stay right away. I didn't know until I took a shower and the water wasn't getting hot.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff was very nice. Didn't match the pictures. Dirty and bugs.
- Rashmi (2/5): Horrible hotel.. bad experience - I booked a premier villa, room has issues with water leakage thru air con when it rains.. had to switch off air con as they did have maintainence on site at 4am.. problem with water pressure in faucets.. plated breakfast with 2 toasted bread slices and a omelette unlike a buffet.. house keeping available only from 9 to 5.. experience was bad from facilities and staff
- stefaan (6/5): very much worth its price (discounted to 45$) - bit of a strange lay out with the pool across the street...
- sandra (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice room with good wifi. Room was a bit dark because it had no window. The bed was very comfortable. Close to the beach. Nice pool.
- Verified traveler (6/5): simple hotel within 3 mins walk to the white beach - room: bed is comfortable, room view faces a church/ school, spotted some mosquitos and ants in the room, room makeup service is only upon request, request for extra towel is chargeable, no mini bar in the room, mineral water bottle not provided too, toothbrush/ soap/ shampoo are provided
breakfast: comes with free daily breakfast, we were given about 8 breakfast selection set, beef tapa, toccino and longinsa are nice
staffs: very friendly and chirpy staffs, every morning we were greeted by their enthusiasm
distance to amenities: really convenient and less than 3 minutes walk to beach, just exit the hotel, turn right and walk straight down, cross a road and viola you reached the white sandy beach, very near to a papa mini store too where you can get your necessities, near to alot of pubs/ bars/ restaurants too
- Maks (10/5): Great location. - Friendly staff.
3min walk to the beach.
Nice pool.
Great roof terrace.
- Yu (10/5): Amazing stay & vacation - Amazing stay! We got to stay at the biggest Villa and the staff there was super friendly. Would totally come back again to stay and meet them! The area was very nice, too. Close to the beach but in the quiet area so very family-friendly.
- Shu (8/5): Nice & quiet, very near to the beach & dive shop! - The hotel staff were VERY friendly and helpful! Providing us extra toiletries, helping us out with tour information, breakfast and transport. The room was very spacious with a balcony, good enough for us to air our diving gear. Superb space for the price.
- Alice (8/5): clean and well situated - clean and well situated, with friendly and attentive staff.
- PATTY (8/5): Accessible and Quiet / Close to the Beach - We arrived earlier than the check-in time and much to my surprise the front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. We were given beach towels and guided us on how to go about the area. The place is a mere 2 minutes walk to the beach where the grotto is situated.
- Leanne & Marco (10/5): Love the interiors of the room! - Very nice, secluded hotel. Architectural structure is good. We got what we came there for - to relax and unwind.
- Rob (10/5): Very friendly staff - Hotel is close to the beach not on it and is a very reasonable price compared to others, staff where great, fresh beach towels whenever you needed them and room servicing, only let down was the breakfast that came from another hotel.
- Raquel (6/5): Quiet Bora but not pricey - Just like what we wanted it to be...pool, quiet, short walk to the beach
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Reasonable price. Some staff are friendly some aren't. Great things is we get a advanced birthday room decorations from the housekeeper with his father. We like it so much. But worst things is the room had been built 10years time and it look old and some facilities is not working well. For example. Air conditioner and also having a floating toilet.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - didnt get to stay longer but overall it was okay... would love to be back and get to experience all of what the hotel has to offer
- Linda (6/5): Thank god it was not our honeymoon - We booked a honey moon suite on hotels.com and were very excited about it, little treat as we have been married for 8 months now
Imagine our disappointment when we arrived to be given a small, dark and dingy room without any available daylight. Room had a balcony which was inside of the hotel building so there was no fresh air available. The worst of all was the smell. Bathroom sink is sitting on rustic wooden shelf which is rotting away and has the most faul smell ever, so potent it gave me headache
Unfortunately there are no windows to open and the balcony door does not give you any fresh air either
I've asked to move rooms, but they were fully booked
Pool are does not have any chairs for sunbathing so it's just pool.
Beach is 5 min walk away
Breakfast was microwave heated pork, egg and rice, it was actually a plate full off food wrapped in cling film
Still wrapped in cling film when delivered to us, so as we are not fussy people we just unwrapped it and ate the breakfast
Staff seems fairly lovely but I was seriously mad with myself for booking this hotel
If it would have been our actual honeymoon - it would have been completely ruined.
I can never understand why would a hotel give their guests a foul smelling room and make their stay unbearable? Just put the room out of order until it's fixed.
If only they would have given us a different room
One thing for sure- I am so happy We went to Venice for our honeymoon
- Verified traveler (10/5): very nice hotel, good breakfast - We really enjoyed our stay at The Sitio Boracay. The staff are nice and very accommodating and the rooms are clean and comfortable.Breakfast is simple but superb. Walking distance going to the beach and the church. I highly recommend this hotel and will surely consider of getting same hotel in our next Boracay vacation.
- ELLERY (8/5): Coneniently accessible. Cozy little secret. - The Sitio Boracay is perfectly tucked away from the noise of the crowds and main road yet is still very accessible. It was conveniently located especially since I came to the island mainly attend a wedding at the parish church next door.
The option to have breakfast either inside the room or at the poolside was nice; and the staff were quite courteous and helpful. As a point of improvement, perhaps they can add a sitting area inside the suite (even a comfy bench) and brighter light fixtures especially in the bathroom.
- Pepe (2/5): Pleasantly surprised for what I was paying. BUT... - Started off amazed having a whole two-storey villa to myself, with bar, king size bed, living room, and the bathroom (which was bigger than most bedrooms) with jacuzzi tub, massage table, and outdoor shower. Incredible for what I paid for in the first place.
But the bedbugs ruined everything for me. I woke up the next morning with welts all over my right arm. I discreetly informed the front desk of this, as we all know this would be the kiss of death for any hotel (two separate doctors confirmed that they were indeed bed bug bites). If anything, they tried to shift the blame on me for not asking them to clean up my room! They made absolutely no effort to make it up to me - my room wasn't even made up when I got back that evening - much less to be moved to another room or offered any sort of compensation.
- SIMON (8/5): nice stay - Nice staff in hotel, marked down as room was spacious but very dark and no kettle, ask them for a light room if you want natural light as some rooms just have a wall view on balcony. Great location for beach, it's a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast was nice enough.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - It was great. There were mosquitoes, though.
- The Islas (8/5): Nice hotel, affordable and close to the beach - We were really satisfied with our stay at sitio by boracay. Their honeymoon suite is the one I would really recommend. I didn't like the deluxe suite at room 101 though, because of mosquitoes.
- Kevin (8/5): Close To Beach Near Willy's Rock - Stayed in Premier Villa. Plenty of space with 2 Bedrooms both en-suite. View overlooking pool. beach within easy walking distance and 24hour minimarket nearby. Restaurants also close.
- Verified traveler (6/5): BUDGET GUESTHOUSE 2 MIN WALK BEACH - Old hotel (very very old furnitures) with dirty pool and no chair to lay. Guesthouse and breakfast is only 2 slices bread 1 egg and a coffee. The only thing is the nice staff, price and 2 min walk to station 1 beach the best part of the white beach.
- Louis (6/5): - Hotel.com have some issue with the sitio villas, the villa have show can fit 8 person but at the end they only allow us to fit 2 in a villas with 2 queen size bed and 1 king size bed.
- jason (8/5): nice hotel and staff - we had a wonderful stay in sitio.... we were surprised that we were upgraded to premium villa. thank you sitio for that. overall. we had a pleasant stay, though a little bit far from station 2, we don't find it as a problem. we had fun walking in the beach going to the different places in boracay. we had restful stay. thanks to the staff who are always ready to extend a helping hand. breakfast is ok.
- MOO (10/5): Boracay Sitio - for reception still need more friendly with smiley .
- Simon (6/5): Not advisable to stay - Look decent on the outside.
CONS: Experience 5 power shutdown over the course of my stay (6D5N). Surrounding is pretty awful even though is only walking distance to the beach. Room cleaning only available upon request. No safe deposit box in the room. Room door is obvious out of alignment, need to use force to open and close it. Room is not bright even all lights are switch on. Limited choice of breakfast(5 different choices only). Not the experience that was expecting from them.
PROS: Staffs are friendly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): OK value in expensive Boracay - Quite nice interior, quiet location off the main road (someone mentioned there is a school nearby but I stayed on a long weekend). Reception staff always cheerful. Just be aware the _04 rooms have balcony into what is basically a ventilation shaft - really I think those rooms should be priced cheaper. Breakfast very ordinary.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for couples - Great hotel for couples. Book the honeymoon suite.
- Young Joon (8/5): Good option for family - Sitio Boracay Villa & Suites is located at station 1, about 5-10 mins away from beach (inside small path from Boracay main road). Room condition was ok, but was hot a little bit during daytime. Breakfasts were very basic, and they charged for additional coffee during breakfast. Overall, not the best but quite good option for family travelers, considering room rate.
- Rodney William (8/5): The Sitio Villas and Suites great location - Great location away from all the noise and hustle bustle but within walking distance.
My husband and I like to walk so it wasn't a problem otherwise for a tricycle to D'mall, D'TalliPaPa along the main road is a mere 20peso.
Hotel to Beach around 100 metres.
The staff at hotel were very helpful and friendly.
Great value we loved it and would stay there again.
- Rick (2/5): Avoid These Scammers! - On arrival I was led to one of the villas with a thatched roof. The pool was very cloudy and dirty. The villa had a strong pungent odor that was immediately noticeable, seemingly coming from the roof thatching, which is exposed on the inside. One air conditioner was broken and the villa was dirty. Surfaces were dusty and the bed skirts and bed-spreads were old and dirty. The beds only had a fitted sheet, so guests are expected to use the old and dirty bedspreads directly on top of them.
The front desk manager acknowledged that they don't wash the bed spreads, and that fitted sheets only were their standard. She gave me a few regular sheets and a bottle of cleaner, expecting that I would take care of the issues myself. She acknowledged that the roof thatching gave off an odor, and also caused a lot of dust. I asserted that the room was unacceptable and she arranged for us to occupy another villa, which had similar issues, including the strong odor. I complained again and asked for other accommodations. I was told they had no other rooms available, including none at their beach location.
When I asked to cancel the reservation I was told the person who made those decisions was in Manila and unavailable until the next day. On the following morning I was told the person was not available for 3 days and no other rooms were available. I checked out and was told I would not be given any refunds for the 8 days I booked. Expedia intervened and was told the same things.
- Kevin (10/5): Awesome stay! - Hotel is really conveniently located. One block from the beach in station 1. At checkout, I was late for my flight, so one of the guys there put me on his motorcycle and raced me through town to the ferry. Didn't even ask for money (of course I insisted however). Simple yet good enough for what I needed. Would definitely recommend staying here.
- Donnie (10/5): - A great stay I will use again. The staff was exceptional and a great facility
- Manuel (8/5): Great little place on Station 1, Boracay - Sitio Boracay Villas and Suites - location was in a quiet part but only. Couple of minutes walk to Willy's Rock, the iconic symbol of White Beach in Boracay. The hotel itself was quiet with not a lot of foot traffic. It is small and service was bery personalized. Breakfast was included but not a lot of choices which was good because it didn't make me gain weight. There was a pool but no one seemed to use it when I was there. The suite I stayed in had a lot of room. It ws comfy and the bathroom was outside. It was so cool taking a bath in the outdoors. Privacy was insured by high walls. Air condition was more than adequate. Wifi was adequate, too. Overall, it was a great little place away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd at White Beach.
- Jaycee (2/5): WORST EXPERIENCE - I don't usually write reviews but people need to know, I am from San Diego, CA my family and I went to Boracay for vacation and we stayed on this Hotel. When we check in presentation seems great but it all started when we went to bed in our first night, The whole family woke up next morning sick come to find out our AC unit filter was very DIRTY WE were coughing and felt we all need to go the hospital. To make the story short we didnt enjoy the island because we are too busy fixing our selve. On top of that I end up cleaning the filter myself, bathtub jacuzzi doesn't work, kitchen sink useless the ceiling fan not working and I have to call maintenance because the water in the tub does not drain. The Mall, market place are too far. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANY OF MY FAMILY, FRIENDS OR COWORKER!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel very well located - Villa and suites are very spacious and well located at the pool side.
Hotel is clean, personnel is nice and the location in station 1 is very good.
- William (8/5): good price dirty room - For the price it was ok..
- Verified traveler (10/5): Our first time - Since its my first time here i never thought i would enjoy bora this much until i experienced one of the best hotel in bora
The place is so clean, peaceful and quiet and the staff are so accomodating and will make sure ur needs will be attended.
I will surely go back here in the sitio and will see u soon guys again im sure of it..
- jdhernandez (10/5): - Nice place. Good service.
- ferdinand (6/5): Nice hotel but walking distance to the beach - Beach 5-7 mins walk to the beach; feiendly and very accomodating staff; breakfast is OK; over all i am satisfied with my experience at this hotel based on what i was expecting nothing fancy. I've been reading reviews in expedia, what others are telling are somewhat true. But i think, the staff werw friendly.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - bedcloth is too smelly… call the staff after change, remain smelly…
