• Eliza (1/5): It was dirty, felt unsafe, and we felt catfished. - The location is close to the metro and JR stations. And the police station. Everything. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! If it wasn’t too late in the evening to find a new place to stay, we would have. Biggest issue, it was VERY dirty and we left feeling itchy and with BUG BITES all over our bodies. The area is in a dirtier part of town (lots of police presence) Upon arrival, In the lobby there were several men who were sitting and staring in a way that was uncomfortable. The location’s dog was barking aggressively and had actively open wounds. The hallway to the room was unlit and looks unsafe. The room we stayed in had no soap, no towels, the covers on the futon were covered in white stains, and the mattresses had dark stains on them. The walls were dirty from either mold, dirt or both. It was noisy in the hallway due to people coming in the early hours of the morning. And then the owners dog barking starting around 6 am and other tenants loudly vomiting around the same time. This should be shut down if not barely be listed as an hourly rated place, not an official Booking.com recommendation.
• awasleung (3/5): - 價錢便宜是沒好說的了。在新今宮駅附近，要趕搭早機又不想睡機場過夜的，這便宜的落腳點正好。 只是，可惜.......... 數年前來住過，當時住舊館。住後留下了差評。今次見它新館有房，而且要乘搭第二朝8時的早班航班回香港，所以來住新館試試。房間比舊館大，有電視，冰箱，空調也有窗，一入房的整體感覺，結合房價感覺物超所值，直到我躺下時見到不少床蝨在牆邊活動 連掛衣架都有！結果就將行李全擱到金屬的電視機柜上，生怕會有床蝨鑽到行李內，跟隨帶返家。全晚都不敢睡，就坐在乾淨(嗅到剛洗過的洗味)的床舖上刷手(旅館沒免費wifi提供)到早上5時，check out去機場。

• roadrunner6 (3/5): - Assez bien situé et vraiment pas cher. Vélo a prêter. Personnel sympathique...mais Un des hôtels les plus dégueu que j ai vu sur cette planète. Quand on rentre c 'est le fumoir donc obligé de supporter une dizaine de fumeurs désoeuvrés apparemment résidents permanents qui grimpent cigarette sur cigarette. Chaque courant d air apporte un supplément de reliant de cigarette. Mais c est un des seuls endroit où il y a du wifi car y en a pas du tout dans les chambres. L autre c est dans la cuisine qui donne sur la douche des filles qui se demandent pourquoi on squatte devant leur douche ( qui est dans la cuisine donc) mais là aussi ça pue la cigarette tellement ça fume bleu 10m plus loin...et que le gérant passe avec sa cigarette allumée la bas ( en cuisine donc) puisque c est interdit aux client donc pas à lui. Il y a une sorte de boue dans les creux de la fenêtre du 5e et l escalier est rouillé. On entends les voisins se racler la gorge toute la nuit et sans wifi difficile de se occuper. Ils sont bien gentils mais le public n'est pas celui d'un hôtel mais d'un dortoir, même quand on mange, ça renifle, ça crache et ça boit bruyamment sa soupe ( à 3 mètres avec mon casque audio) J ai du bouger le futon vu ma taille, je n aurais pas dû.

• Vinicius (10/5): Wonderful option on a budget - There are kitchen facilities and also a laundry machine, both of which can be used for free. The staff were friendly and eager to help even despite the language barrier. I stayed in the old building in the cheapest room, it is comfortable enough considering the price. I would definitely reccomend it for solo travellers on a tight budget.

• Megan (8/5): Decent place for a great price for a short stay - Close to transportation, easy to find. The room was comfortable and a great value for the cost. The staff were nice and helpful. There are food options close by as well. The front desk has toiletries that you can purchase for a few yen if you need them, such as soap, shampoo, towels, toothbrush, etc. The pillow in the room wasn't the greatest but manageable. You had to pay extra for a towel but only a few yen. There is no Wi-fi in the rooms only on the main floor.

• Jane (8/5): - I like how the staff is very friendly. Plus points if you can speak Japanese. I also like the location. It's near Dubotsuen-mae station and Shin-imaya Station. Family Mart is just on the other side of the road. No worries about food because just beside the hotel, there is a food store that sells ready to eat food. If you are a gir/boyl scout type of person and looking for cheap and easy access locations, this hotel is right for you. Since the hotel is near the road, expect there is noises from vehicles and motorcycles.

• Tomoko (8/5): 寝場所確保でならコスパ良し。 - 8番出口を出て左を向くと建物に付いた看板があり非常に見つけ易かった。 チェックイン前に荷物預かりして頂いた。 「現金のみ決済」を見落としていて、万博帰りで22時を回っていたが、300m位離れた場所にファミリーマートがあり、取引可能口座だったので助かった。 女性はシャワー室2部屋、男性は風呂有(土)。 23時迄だったが、支払いを済ませ何とかシャワーも浴びる事が出来た。 小型冷蔵庫があり一応凍らせる事も出来た。 シーツ等は清潔で布団は狭いながらも寝心地は良かった。 エアコンは時間制ではない。これも良かった。 ウォーターサーバーがあり、万博で脱水気味の身体にはキンキンに冷えた水が美味しかった。 駅近で周囲に安い弁当屋、ファミマもありロケーションは非常に良いと思う。 ワンちゃんがいるが犬毛は落ちていなかった。 部屋は2人部屋でマットが重なる狭さ。 バスタオル、フェイスタオル、歯ブラシのアメニティは有料。 女性用シャワー室は喫煙室の一角なので、折角さっぱりしても煙草臭が付きそう。 ロビー(？)も喫煙OK。 大阪の気質なのか紙煙草の方が多いので一階は煙草臭い。 おじいちゃん、耳が遠いらしくなかなか話が通じないw。

• Alwin Christian (6/5): You get what you pay for - Needed a spot to skip the night after landing at KIX before heading off to Tokyo. The place is insanely cheap - like 8€ for a night in August 2025. Had an issue with the light in my initial room - when it couldn't be fixed, I was quickly moved to a different room. I have never seen a staff member anywhere in such genuine distress over an issue such as this. They really care about their guests. Shin-Imamiya station (serviced by JR Osaka Loop Line, JR Yamatoji Line and Nankai Lines) and Doubutsuen-mae Metro station (serviced by Midosuji and Sakaisuji Lines) are easily reached on foot. Additionaly, there's access to the Hankai Tram at its Imaike stop. The room reeked of smoke and ash. The mattress wasn't exactly clean, but at least there were no insects. The ceiling is super low - I had to duck under the doorframe when entering the lavatory. The elevator only stops at every second floor - you have to take a few stairs to reach the floors in-between. Certainly an issue with heavy luggage. The private showers were women only. Men had to use a public shower room. The location (Nishinari ward) has an extremely sketchy feel to it.

• Geelen (5/5): The price tells the whole story. - The price was reeeaaal low. I missed getting there the first night, so they didn't charge me for it. Yes, it is as basic as can be but there were no bugs and it didn't smell. If you need shelter you can get it here. I didn't mind any of it, but more selective guests might find it lacks everything they might expect in a room for the night.

• Indie Johanne (6/5): Merci pour ces deux premières nuits à Osaka ! - L'Hotel Diamond est idéalement situé dans le quartier de Namba à Osaka. Le personnel était très accueillant et gentil. Les futons étaient confortables et l'établissement est propre. L'ambiance est rétro, et on s'y sent bien. Les serviettes et le savon sont payants. Le Wifi n'est disponible que dans la partie commune, pas dans la chambre.
