• Said Gael Jirad (10/5): - Un lugar hermoso, rústico, auténtico, atención cálida, para el precio que pagas está excelente, no probamos la comida pero la atención del personal es buena, las camas y los sofá cama son incómodos, la cocina tiene lo esencial para poder llevar tu propio super, para pasar unos días en familia con todo lo necesario está excelente y muy conveniente el acceso al mar con sus palapas y toldos, la alberca está calientita pero demasiado clorada, muy limpio en general. Lastima que van a demoler el lugar pronto para construir un edificio de lujo, le van a quitar la autenticidad al lugar, realmente pasamos unos días muy agradables en este lugar y se va a extrañar.

• Jill (8/5): - Though the suites are older we found them to be well maintained and clean. The kitchenette had the basics, the beds were decent but importantly it was friendly, clean and on the beach. I would recommend.

Lo que fue terrible es no tener acceso a internet en la habitación y prácticamente en ningún lado que no fuera en la recepción y con muy mala conexión de hecho. Las calles de ingreso al hotel están terribles, urge hacer algo a ese respecto.

• charles (8/5): - clearly the highlight of this property is the immediate proximity to the beach. Every morning I ate breakfast at a table on a walkway overlooking pelicans diving in the surf and local fishermen coming in with their catch. The downside is that properties adjacent to it are under construction. tall condos are going up all along the waterfront. also the beds are very firm; acceptable to me, too firm for my spouse.

• Verified traveler (8/5): ok stay. - I picked this place because of the location, beach front. The water in the shore is peaceful, the beach is nice. The bungalows are fair, has the necessary things for your stay, but nothing extra. no beach towels, if you order food you have to pick it up. no glass with ice or this is charged. be prepared for people with music in high volume as this is allowed. The reception clerk girl was very kind, kudos to her. In general my stay was ok. I just would like to had some better service in the bar and beach towels.

• alma (4/5): - No me gusto para nada el servicio de el restaurante , de mala forma te atendian , le pedi un vaso con hielo a el mesero y me cobro 20 pesos y en la habitacion ya eran las tres de la tarde y aun no limpiaban el cuarto, le pedi toallas limpias ala recamarera y me dijo que no tenian , tube que llamar a la resepcion para que me las mandaran , nunca fueron a limpiar el cuarto y aparte quieren que uses las mismas toallas de el cuarto para la picina y cuando pedi las toallas me llevaron unas orribles y bien pequeñas , hay estufa de gas en el cuarto y no te dejan cerillos , cuando llame a recepcion para pedir unos me mandaron a un kiosco que esta super lejos a comprar unos , la verdad no vuelvo a reservar en este hotel , muy mal servicio

• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderfully authentic! - Overall our stay was exactly what we were looking for. It was so relaxing. Staff were amazing, very helpful. The curtains did seem to need cleaning, beds were quite firm, however we would book again!

• Verified traveler (6/5): close to the beach - No comfortable chairs in the living space of the room. Kitchen was not fully equipped (no coffee maker, no kettle, no toaster, broken pot) but the cleaning staff got us a coffee maker, toaster & pot, but I expected a better equipped kitchen. Otherwise it was satisfactory. A little noisy on a few evenings as our room was right outside Buzzos bar, but as they closed up around 10pm, things quieted down then. The beds were good. The blackout drapes needed to be dusted as they were quite covered in dust.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Hot water optional? - The apartments in the back section (not on the beach) are spacious but Spartan. The cutlery and pots are inadequate, and the coffee maker didn't work. A newer coffee maker was provided on request and an extra pot. Water for shower was not hot and even after asking for the water to be hotter, there was no change. there are no beach chairs, a few palapas, but the beach is dirty and not well maintained. The units along the beach are in better shape, and may have a different water heating system. they are about 2x the cost of the back units on the street. The best thing about Princess Bungalows is Buzzo's bar which is a rocking little spot, always busy with good and reasonably priced drinks and food and a bartender who sings opera.

• Loretta (8/5): A relaxing stay - Even though the spacious one bedroom jr. suite needed a bit of TLC, it was clean, spacious and quiet. Staff were very friendly, and the complex seemed to be occupied by alot of repeat customers - our neighbours have been coming to the same bungalow for 15 years! So it has a nice community feel about it. 15 minutes walk to centre of town, beaches weren't crowded and were very clean. Would come back for sure!

• Maynor (2/5): Do not waste your vacation time on this hotel - The rooms were not what was pictured on the hotels.com website. 1. Showers had low presure and a large amounts of rust. 2. Beds were extremely hard 3. Pillow were hard and lumpy 4. The doors felt very insecure with flimsy locks 5. Refrigerator froze all liquids 6. Televisions were about 13 inches, not we went there to watch tv
• Mike (4/5): Choose your room carefully! - My wife and I booked seven days here and checked out after only two days. Our room (#234) should not have been rented. There was sticky tape residue in the shape of an "X" on each of the sliding doors...presumably left over from some storm. There was an open drain in the bathroom which contributed greatly to the unpleasant odor. The bath towells reminded me of 8th grade gym. The flat screen t.v. is 13 inches. One sliding door would not open. The kitchen was ill equipped. The room was unclean with peeling paint drooping from the ceiling. The sitting area was equipped with a trundle bed, no table, no chairs. On a positive note, we found two nice clean pools. The ocean front rooms appear to have been upgraded. Our room was across the parking lot and had no view. The hotel is on the north end of Bucerias and is convenient to nothing.
• Clifford (4/5): OK, but probably NOT going to stay here again - Rooms were OK, but first there was no AC because there was no remote control to turn it on, then there was no hot water because the water heater needed to be lit, then there was no remote for the TV, then the wireless did not work 5 of the 7 days we were there (they said the internet was down everywhere but this did not turn out to be true), then there was the loud Karaoke bar just under our rooms. Staff was nice but it seemed to be one thing after another.
