• Tanya (10/5): - I Really love staying at the Burvale hotel enjoying the atmosphere of the wild life. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and so very affordable. Thank you 😊 Some of the beds aren't as comfortable as some of the rooms, but either way pillows and bed linen are soo soft. Be nice if they had 'Do not disturb" signs for the doors.

• kelly (5/5): Overall it was pleasant - The staff we very accommodateing and lovely.and over all place was great. The bistro food was excellent also. But It was lacking in some areas as a "longer term guest", but for short stay is is great value for money. The rooms could do with some stuff. A microwave and a toaster would be ideal. Also some cutlery and a tea towel. And a small table and chairs. As a longer term stay, this made things a little difficult.

It’s not the most modern but is always clean, and the bed is very comfortable - The Burvale is perfectly located for me when I visit my elderly mother in Melbourne. Just x2 blocks short walk from Southern Cross country train terminal is the Route 75 Tram, which takes me to Springvale Rd/Burwood Highway intersection where I can safely cross the road with traffic lights. The Burvale is located at this intersection. The rooms are very clean, with spotlessly clean crisp white bedding. No issues

• Schoeman (1/5): - Nothing Staff weren't helpful they went thru my things and took a very special item from me that was made by a made who passed away. It was anhad forge blade with elements tusk for the handle it's a display peace had it but way in my boxes of stuff and they went thru it because u would know unless u went thru it. Then they banned me for there because of it so u cant even keep personal itam on you even handed forge things. They took my bond twice from my account then took 3 days of arguing and sending m y back statement just for the to send me a invoice that u could type up. They said it was paid because of that but wouldnt accept my commonwealt statement with showed them taking it one came back the day I check out then the second pay ment came thru that night but. Got taken back straight after it was return that was the second bond they took they weren't then it took them 3 days to contact me had to keep calling them being a dog..

Room was no where near worth the cost i paid . No ad saying price goes up on a event . The food was un cooked and un eatable was not given money back when i only had 1 bite i had to spit out . The way its run was appalling.
• Miranda (8/5): I would stay again - They cleaned my room every day and changed my towels. Staff friendly and welcoming. The walls need a bit of a clean and didnt love the windows facing other rooms. I was there for mainly the weekdays. I Imagine it would be quite loud on weekends outside.

• ying (9/5): Totally great stay at this motel. Great value for the price. Surprisingly clean and well maintained - Very comfortable beds. Very clean and well maintained despite the age of the motel. the staff upgraded my room to a child friendly family suite for free when he noted my 2 kids running around. There was no staff at the reception area when I arrived. However, the staff came back after quite some time. Anyhow that was not the staff's fault because a sign was put up to call but I had no local phone to call.

• Pita (10/5): Hotel is an amazing stay but receptionist is rude - location was very good room was clean and comfortable cleaners were very friendly and helpful and the stay was very enjoyable ☺️ the receptionist she was very aggressive and quite rude when we were checking out room hadn't had its daily clean yet so floor was a lil messy but was told i was disgusting and dont ever come back and then was belittled when given my deposit back she said i will give your deposit back because i know you need it

• Graeme (6/5): - The hotel was mainly chosen for it's proximity to a family event. The rooms are in need of an update... 3 separate family groups stayed and all rooms were of the same age and comfort level. Basic and clean.

• Keryn (7/5): Decent enough for a short stay and well priced - Staff were good and the facilities at the hotel restaurant were also good. The bed was very soft. There was a very small fridge in the room. The curtains weren't really adequate, so privacy was of some concern. While parking outside was good, the lack of turning space for our unit meant running up on the curb.

• Joy (6/5): An affordable place to stay. - Was nice to have a bed and space to myself. When I asked for a microwave that was happily given. It was also nice to have the room freshened up every day. Staff were friendly, although the reception was often unattended There was a lot of smoking outside the rooms and it made the room smell even with the doors shut because they don't reach the floor properly. When using the light/fan in the bathroom it brings in the smoke smell. The windows don't open and it was very dark in the room. The walls were very thin and the couple next door fought a lot and often at 3 am before going to work at 5 am so it was hard to sleep well. Sometimes other people parked in my car spot.. I didn't use the restaurant or other facilities.

• Brent (1/5): Avoid this place - nothing at all. the bed was poor, broken, lop sided, middle was hard, side was way too soft. had 4 pillows, they were all too big and hard. TV didn't work, I told staff about it all, they argued and said there's nothing wrong with it, I asked for a discount, for inconvenience and not getting any sleep, they refused... I rang them at 3am, he went and got another pillow, and it was the same as the others. bed was atrocious !!!

• Prescilla (8/5): A warm welcome and a great sleep - The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was great having a fridge and drinks making facilities in the room. The Bistro served excellent food and drink. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. So overall the stay was a good experience. The hotel itself looks a bit tired in its decor and I wasn’t a fan of the amusement arcade in the hotel, but it seemed very popular with others.

• Kim (8/5): The olde Burvale is a good value older style hotel with handy bistro & great room service - Bed sheets were so delightful, crisp and clean. Set well back from the road, slept really peacefully. Would've like to be able to open the back door for some breeze, but the aircon worked well. In the end, a very comfortable stay.

• Kathryn (6/5): Basic accommodation in great location - Beds beautifully made. Perfect location for our visit. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of soaps, conditioners and shampoos. Tea and coffee provided. These rooms are not well looked after. While the beds are beautifully made, it doesn't make up for the fact the rooms have rubbish and cigarette butts outside, dirty bathrooms, things falling off inside or broken, and generally needing a good reno to bring them back up. The door handles are nearly impossible to open, being round with little room to grip, and I can imagine if you have arthritis or are older, they would not be suitable at all. Airconditioner was installed half way down the wall above a bed, who thought that placement was going to work or was logical? Door lock was loose. There is never anyone actually at reception desk, and the outside of the rooms feel dirty and need some greenery or brightening. We've stayed multiple times, and our experience each time has been similar.
