I didn’t realise I had actually stayed here before because the rooms look so nice in the photos. And couldn’t sleep as it was a Saturday night and there were a lot of noises being connected to the pub and other loud guests staying. Not worth it for the price

Not noisy even tho attached to a hotel Shower ran non stop..obv needed new tap washers. The carpark and around hotel room doors and stairs could of been cleaned up...with passers-by throwing bottles and rubbish on ground

Photos stated a playground for kids but there isn't one just a small spot for colouring. If another room used water mainly showers it the pipes would make a hell of a noise. Took management ages to come to reception and bearly spoke.

• Steve (9/5): Excellent no-frills motel for family. It was functional and safe and clean. - Great hot showers. We arrived at 2.30am and the reception/bar was still able to attend to us. Fresh towels. Had the basics ..hairdryer, iron, kettle. They had bottled water in the fridge. Bed was firm and pillows were very comfortable. Parking was quite busy on the saturday as there was some event going on so beware..just need to park further away until the other guests have left. We had someone ordering dinner from the restaurant using our room number (possibly a mistake) but the hotel called my mobile to confirm which was good. Needed to climb 1 level of staircase with heavy suitcases...there are no lifts.

• Alana (8/5): Great stay - Bed was comfy, pleasantly surprised to have Netflix on the TV. Room was spacious and clean - perfect for overnight stay for a work-related trip. Very convenient having a bistro so close (great food & service) and being able to make a cheeky visit to the bottle shop attached. Split system might be due a service.. it was loud enough to drown out the visitors in the beer garden (for better or worse!) Would have liked hand soap in the bathroom (none provided, although I noted there were supplies in the shower)

No water when I went to shower, neighbours/rooms close and noisy - Lamb salad didn’t taste good, salad had too much dressing it was overpowering with balsamic. No one st reception when I went to check in had to make a phone call while I was waiting there as I count see any staff around.

• Colin (7/5): Was what you would expect, but electricity would have been nice - Pretty much the facilities one would expect at the price point. Staff were quick to respond to issues, which was needed a few times The power failed twice during my stay, eventually staying down all day as well as overnight in the second occasion. While staff were quick to respond and attempt to find solutions, there was no attempt to resolve the issue until the following day. The lack of contingency planning was a let down, especially considering staff was aware of ongoing issues with the power prior to the loss of power overnight. I hope management sees this as a learning opportunity to better prepare for such instances in the future.

• Michael (7/5): - The shower was perfect, I love strong water flow and a large shower head. Perfect after a long day at work. The bed was amazingly soft and the TV was good. Coffee and Tea supplies were not stingy, there was plenty and a couple of bottle of Water free. Complimentary beer in the pub and 10% off meals was welcomed. A little noisy of a night being backed on to a pub and cleanliness was acceptable but could have been better. Checked in a 1.45 and given my Key, when I got to the room there was still the last person had just left so the room needed to be cleaned, not ideal. Had to spend an hour in the pub while it was cleaned for me.
