The price was great for a king bed, and the room was pretty spacious with a big tub.

- Dawn (2/5): - As soon as we walked in our room we saw dead and alive roaches all over the floor. Lobby reeked of pot. Instantly turned around and walked right out.
- Melissa (2/5): - This is the first time I have been disappointed with a hotel or motel. The front desk attendant was extremely unpleasant, and the rooms were infested with cockroaches. Small ones were crawling out of the toilet and on the walls in the bathroom. When I addressed my concerns and asked for garbage bags to put my luggage in to protect it from bringing home pests, I was treated extremely unprofessionally, as if I were inconveniencing her with my request.Not only was I calm when I told her about the bugs, I was sympathetic to the fact that she probably deals with a lot of hassle being the only person at the desk. Our group was willing to overlook the bug situation at first, and I was even given a new room however, my fellow travel companions found a massive cockroach in their sink so we left. The attendant at the from desk didn't even look at us when we went to the return the keys. The way this was handled shows this is common occurrence at this location. At midnight we left and found another hotel one hour away. Expedia is looking into the situation thankfully.

But, between the bed, pillows being too hard, the bedding feeling like they were too starchy (but clean) and the guests in the room upstairs being so noisy all night, I didn't get much sleep the 3 nights I was there (which meant I was very tired during my 7 hour drive home). And the towels felt like the bedding and made me itch, as though I was allergic to what they used to wash them. The hallway on the second floor smelled funny. And the ice machine on the second floor was out of order during my entire stay. If I ever stay in Springfield again, I do not believe that I will be staying here again.

Surprisingly the room was neat and appeared clean, but I had no hot water, and when asking staff, I got nowhere. Checked out a day early. Most places would compensate, but not a word mentioned. The area around the place is surrounded by out of business shops.. I didn’t feel safe. Propped a chair under my door at night. Noisy staff all through the night! Save your money.

Asked to be on same floor as group I traveled with and was told there was no open rooms on first floor, even though I was assured there was when I called earlier in the day. All of a sudden there was an open room after my group all went together to complain. This was the most disgusting hotel. I was in town for a horse show. Luckily all I did was sleep and shower at this hotel. Lots of creepy men lurking about. Felt unsafe. Grounds were disgusting. Trash everywhere and broken plates. I’ll never stay at this hotel again!

After this stay I cancelled a further 3 Motel 6 stays we had booked for different locations and booked with other companies. It's cheap but not worth compromising for your health or safety.

- Kirby (6/5): - We did not want the room serviced. Asked for a do not disturb sign and didnt get one. The room was serviced. Also we have a child and the pool was not operational which was annoying because there was nothing for said child to do.
- James (6/5): - It needs to be remodeled
- Carley (10/5): - Very comfortable got it for a 2nd night at as well
- Joshua (2/5): - Loud, basic room with not much
- Michael (10/5): - For the price this was a great place to stay. My room was very clean and so was the whole motel. If I end up in Springfield again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
- Ivan (10/5): - Not the greatest location. Very well maintained and clean.

- Elizabeth (2/5): - People were fighting and screaming in halls all night. Two different groups both nights. Worst motel stay I ever have experienced. While the staff was friendly they did nothing to control situation.
- Tammy (10/5): Hotel 6 experience - Overall it was great. People living in motels is a new trend. The hotel was fine, the people were arguing.
- Michael (8/5): - stayed here for one night, convenient but very much bare bones. one small bar soap
