Péter (9/5): Nagyon jó helyen korrekt szálloda. - Nagyon jó helyen van, könnyű a parkolás, a reggeli is rendben volt. A szoba jó méretű, az ágy kényelmes. A buszmegálló kb. 20 méterre van a szállodától. A teraszajtó nem csukódott rendesen egyik szobában sem, ez a szeles időben kicsit zavaró volt.

We haven’t blanket in our room, but there isn’t heater also and only one towel at first… bed and pillows quite hard and uncomfortable.

Francesca (9/5): Da tornare e consigliare - Posizione fantastica! Fronte spiaggia, centrale, vicino al porto per i traghetti (unico modo per muoversi in costiera). Vicina a tutti i servizi. Parcheggio piccolo ma utilissimo. Sabato sera con uno splendido spettacolo di musica offerto nella hall. Colazione abbondante e davvero buona con vista su piscina e mare. Stanza grande e attrezzata di tutti, silenziosa. Un terrazzino splendido con vista laterale sul mare e sdraiette. Peccato non aver usufruito della piscina per la temperatura ancora bassa nonostante il periodo. Devo ammettere che l' idillio si interrompe a letto. Grande si ma di una scomodità unica insieme ai cuscini. Due notti per questo quasi insonni per tutti e due. un po' caro ma siamo in costiera..

Wudgeymudge (10/5): Excellent traditional Italian hotel - Excellent traditional Italian hotel, where nothing is too much trouble for the staff & cleanliness paramount. Set meal ( with choices) did not detract picky teenage son. Keep in mind wine, water & tourist tax have to be paid at end of holiday so budget accordingly. Excellent position for town & across road from beach. Maiori good base to explore coast although amount of tourists in Amalfi spoil it & prices high. Lemon walk a must although wouldn’t like to attempt in summer. Unfortunately pool wasn’t open when we were there even though weather nice, & lovely sun loungers also couldn’t be used - only gripe is this wasn’t mentioned when booking but this may be fault of our tour operator. Would definitely return to this hotel if coming back to this area.

Trek52424455875 (10/5): Fab hotel and location - Fantastic hotel and location. I was initially taken back by the old deco but I think everything else that the hotel offers hugely makes up for this. Free parking, big rooms with amazing balconies/ terraces overlooking the sea, very clean and with good breakfast and drinks options from the bar. Everyone was very kind and helpful and just lovely. The location is fantastic, opposite the beach and just a few steps away from restaurants and bars and the ferry, to explore the other towns on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is also conveniently placed for the path of the lemons. It is very nice gentle hike and on the way you can stop in farmhouses selling lemonade and lemon sorbets. We had a great time and we will be back

anisoarac40 (10/5): Best of Maiori and Pietra di Luna - I have just returned from a week stay in this hotel and I just like to highly reccommend this hotel. The location is absolutely great , private beach opposite hotel with free towels, sunbeds and umbrellas. The hotel has also pool and plenty of sunbeds but we rarely used it. We went half board , breakfast is buffet style with plenty of food, cereals , cakes, hot food, ham , cheese, etc. Evening meal starts at 19.30 , has 3 choices of starters, 3 main course and more choices of dessert. Plenty of food. We visited Capri by ferry €45, Amalfi by bus 3€ return, 4.80€ Salerno return and 5.60€Positano return. The views are absolutely amazing everywhere . Bus stop is almost in front of hotel, 3 min walking.Maiori and Pietra di Luna was the best base for us and highly reccomend , quieter than Positano. We also walked on the Path of Lemons which gave us stunning views of the coast. Rooms are OK, our room 415 with lateral sea view, we could have done with a kettle in the room. Cleaners are very good, every day changing towels and cleaning room. We had one night of entertainment on a Friday night. Well done to waiters and all staff. Highly recommend this hotel for couples and families.
Drago (10/5): 100% reccomend - We had an exceptional stay at Pietra di Luna! Located right in front of the beach, the hotel also has a private beach to which we got free access during our stay. The breakfast and service was really good and with a lot of choice. Our room was very comfortable, clean and with a balcony that had sea and Mountain View. We also had free parking at the hotel. Nothing to complain about!

Cristiana (7/5): RELAX ALLO STATO PURO - La struttura è davvero bella anche se vetusta. Offrire posto auto e piscina con ombrellone è una ricchezza in costiera. La posizione è centralissima, l albergo è accessibile a persone con handicap deambulatori e accoglie cani. Il personale di sala gentilissimo e la cucina davvero ottima. La pulizia della stanza era assolutamente trascurata, la camera assegnataci vetusta. Ogni tanto scattava il salvavita anche senza motivo e l asciugacapelli si è rotto all improvviso.

The service was impeccable, particularly from Gerardo, Antonio, younger Gérardo, Angelica to name a few. Plenty of sun loungers, no problem any time of day. Pool closes 7pm. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Bring a kettle. Small fridge.

DayTrip47951284549 (4/5): Poor - Staff at hotels private beach was discriminating against all other nationals as they only let Italians sit in the front row on the sun beds next to the sea, I told reception staff they did not seem to care, the hotel manger was busy so they took my room number but I never heard from him, so I would not recommend this hotel except if your Italian. Restaurant food and staff were great, bar staff very friendly. Room was very tired, bed very hard and uncomfortable. Lift kept breaking down so at to use the goods lift until that stop working as well. The problem at the beach let maiori and Italy DOWN.

512karync (8/5): Girl's Holiday - We were a group of 7 ladies of a certain age and we had a fantastic week at Pietra Di Luna. All the staff are an absolute credit to this hotel, from reception to the dining room to the cleaners. We loved the location and Maiori is such a lovely place to return to after a day exploring the much busier parts of the Amalfi Coast. I am coeliac and I was catered for so well. I was given so many options both at breakfast and evening meal. Thank you Pietra di Luna. We will return .
Zhala_000 (7/5): Good - Good location, beachfront and close to bus stop. It was great to have a beach pass included to the rate of the room. Best beach on Amalfi coast in my opinion. Hotel itself and the room felt "retro" in a good way, everything looked clean and bright. We had an issue with a sink in a bathroom, which was solved very quickly. Breakfast - good to have it included, however it lacked variety, and was same every day. Would be nice if reception staff had knowledge on bus routes other than standard amalfi-maiori-salerno route, but they are not in demand, so - understandable The repairman who came to our room early in the morning - happy for quick service, but felt like our privacy was violated. He knocked 2 times, and immediately let himself in our room using a key, thank God i was dressed

deborahwN4304UE (2/5): Not Happy - Solo travellers discriminated against at this hotel. No where does it say on the hotels website that occupants of single rooms can not have access to the hotels private beach. We booked this holiday to have use of a beach and sunbed/parasol facilities. Having stayed in Sorrento last year, the humidity was so great that we wanted to come back to Italy but have a more comfortable stay. Whilst there were 2 of us, we were denied the use. We were told there is limited availability for the beach and we can understand if 1 person has to occupy 2 beds as they are positioned together but in the week we stayed there was availability every day and the 2 of us would have been together. So, we had to suffer staying around the pool which was simply too hot. You can use the public beaches which are at the far end of Maoiri but here there are no sunbeds. Prices of sunbeds at alternative hotels vary from 20 euros (back row of sunbeds) up to 60 euros and that is per day!! If you want scrambled eggs and bacon EVERY morning without the offer of any variation then this is the place to come. There is the choice of 4 budget cereals, salad and copies amount of sweet desserts. Evening meals resemble going for a meal given to those on a coach holiday. The offer of dessert on the 1st night was creme caramel and that was it. My friend asked if there was anything else and offered ice cream. TBH had we not have been so disappointed with the beach scenario we would go back but only on a bed and breakfast basis (lots of nice restaurants in the vicinity) but don't think they do that. Needless to say our complaint HAS been escalated to the tour operator. My friend suffered a nasty fall during our stay and her face ended up black and blue. Only Antonio the waiter showed any compassion for her welfare. Upon speaking with one of the managers at the hotel he neither asked if she was OK or needed any medical assistance.
Q8680RXjohna (10/5): Just perfect - Fabulous hotel in a great location perfect location for exploring the Amalfi coast benefits of the resort it is flat not like many. Explore by ferry as far as Sorrento and Capri. The hotel its self is very welcoming the staff are professional and pleasant and are very accommodating The food is of a high standard and served with a smile. The pool is very inviting and clean. and well kept rooms are spacious and clean with Daily maid service perfect retreat.
Radu (9/5): Superb - Proximity to the beach and Maiori centre, with nice authentic restaurants and shops. Parking available , private beach area was under renovation but hotel make arrangements ( vai gets) for next door hotel private beach . Great beach bar .
michellehP1012YD (8/5): Great staff - First solo trip and the staff in the hotel were lovely and always asking if I was ok. Rooms cleaned every day and clean towels. Nice and quiet location. Easy to get the boats and buses. The only thing I wasn't happy about was when I asked for a towel and a pass to go on the private beach over the road, which was advertised when I booked my trip. I was told sorry, because you are in a single room I can't give you that. I was told that I could go further down on the beach and pay down there, which was €55 a day if I wanted to be by the water. I just felt penalised for being on my own.

The hotel and room were spotlessly clean and the food was authentic Italian served by a very professional staff. Every member of staff we dealt with were both helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Breuker (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location, loved the balcony and the pool. Staff was wonderful! Beach area was closed, but they accommodated with getting us a spot at the neighboring beach. Breakfast was good but could use some fresh fruit. Bed was pretty firm.
_patdowney03 (10/5): A great stay at Pietra Di Luna - We went to this hotel for a week. This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel. Last time was in 2013. We were not disappointed at all. We had a sea view room which was clean and tidy and had a nice balcony to sit out on and look at the stunning views of the Almafi Coast. The maid did a great job looking after our room. We stayed half board and the food was lovely. The service from restaurant was excellent. The view from the restaurant is spectacular. Breakfast was okay. The bar was nice to sit and have a drink and meet other guests. The barman Antonio was a lovely friendly guy.Thanks for looking after us so well. It was nice to see members of staff that were there from our other visits to the hotel. The hotel was kept clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. Pool area is nice. The terrace area is a lovely area to relax and have a drink. We had a lovely holiday and want to say a big thank you all the staff that work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. Maiori is a great central location to get around the Almafi Coast either by bus or ferry.
K9573KAelaineh (6/5): Hidden costs - Hotel nice and staff friendly but they put drinks from bar on a table which is fine but we were shocked to find how expensive the drinks were some double what you pay outside of the hotel also little shocked to be charged €3 for each bottle of water we had with evening meal (half board) we have always had this included free with a meal, would advise being careful about the extras and check what you are being charged before excepting
Crina-edith (10/5): Maiori is perfect - Staff was very nice, the place is wholesome. Simple, quiet and clean. Breakfast was good with a lot of coffee. Maiori is a good place to relax and enjoy the coast.
Emma (9/5): Will stay again - Had a wonderful stay. Staff very welcoming, beds comfy, great location and very clean. Bedroom was a traditional/older style but nice, spacious and clean. The bathroom was new.

Malva (10/5): Lovely stay in Maiori - Friendly staff, helpful and happy to help. The rooms were big and the bed was comfortable. Location was great just a few metres from the bus stop and the Maiori beach. Clean and well kept. Amazing breakfast. We would love to go back. It would have been nice to have complimentary water in the room. Nothing to make tea or coffee in the bedroom. We weren't able to turn on the heating or A/C as it was turned off for the whole building.

Vacationer428153 (10/5): Amazing 5 night stay - We had a 5 night stay at the hotel and it was perfect for us. We had 2 double rooms, which were spotlessly clean and we had maid service every day. The rooms were a little bit dated but they had everything we needed so we didn’t mind that at all. We had a balcony with a partial sea view. The beach is just across the street from the hotel. The staff at the hotel were amazing, evey one so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant manager let me and my husband go in for breakfast early on our last morning as we had an early pick up and also arranged for our daughter and her friend to have a takeaway breakfast bag for the journey. The food in the hotel was very good with 3 course meal every evening. Good variety for breakfast every morning as well. We found the location ideal for exploring the Amalfi coast. Ferry port 10 min walk away and bus stop right outside the hotel so we were able to easily get around on public transport. Nothing negative to say about the hotel at all. Would definitely recommend the Pietra Di Luna hotel and just wish we could have stayed longer.
Michaela (9/5): Lovely hotel - Beautiful newly renovated suite with side seaview. But also overlooking apartment blocks so balcony wasn't private and only had a few hours of morning sun. Room 410 the opposite side of the hotel would have afternoon sun which would have suited us better.we asked to move to seaview balcony at the front and they said yes and showed us the room but it was way smaller and old fashioned so we stayed put.no kettle facility in the room but you could bring it from the kitchen in the morning. Lovely breakfast. Easy free parking. Beach directly across the road they provided free beach towels. The pool was closed as it was April. Nice prom to walk up and down and good restaurants. Would recommend for 1 or 2 nights.
milandro (10/5): A very nice and relaxing staying at a great location - Our staying at this hotel was really pleasant! The lobby, the lounge , the restaurant, the terrace and all other areas are very pleasant. The room and bathroom were nice too. I have read some criticism about the fact that the last renovation must have been some time ago but I have to say that we didn't miss anything, it was like being at home. Everything was there and was kept well. The swimming pool is very well kept and clean with lots of beds and chairs ( with very nice toilets which had also showers and changing rooms!). The people working at this hotel are the absolute best and they are there to help you having a nice holiday. We had only great experiences with everyone really from the personnel in the lobby to the chambermaid , the waiting staff and the maitre everyone was very nice. Breakfast is nice and plentiful , crispy bacon and scrambled eggs are very good . I only missed the option for some sugar free items which I would have appreciated. I saw quite a few nice pastries and so on but I had to stick to the savoury choice. Dinner was very nice too especially the pasta and rice dishes. The maitre will also offer you some other options not on the menu if you like some different things. Again I would have appreciated an option for sugar free desert but they always offered me fresh fruit. A great experience to be repeated!
709julief (10/5): Would return in a heartbeat... - We would highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the location was perfect in that we were a few strides from the prom and it was spotlessly clean. Lovely atmosphere in the dining room especially in the evenings and we loved the duo of guitarists who serenaded the guests twice in the week. Great selection of food. The only thing we would add is that we would have loved some more fresh fruit in the mornings. Easy access to supermarkets, shops and cafes and a much quieter resort than some of its more well-known neighbours. We were delighted to be able to rub shoulders with the locals. All staff including the Manager couldn't have done enough for us, answering our questions and greeting us as we arrived and left.

R9840DTsandrab (10/5): Hidden Gem of the Amalfi Coast - I just recently returned from Hotel Pietra di Luna in Maiori, staying from September 29th to October 6th. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Very well run hotel, excellent service, super clean and they included 2 delicious meals a day. Good location not too far from the ferry port and across the street from the beach. Loved that I could hear the waves every night. Spacious balcony with a table and 2 chairs so we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view. The people that work at this hotel make it such a great place to spend your vacation. I highly recommend Maiori as a base when staying in the Amalfi Coast as it's quieter and not as busy and absolutely recommend staying at Hotel Pietra di Luna. Cannot wait to return. Ciao

They offer an amazing breakfast every morning with pastries, eggs, cappuccino, bacon, juices and more! The area around the hotel has affordable restaurant options. We took public transit from Amalfi and it was very cheap and easy. I would go back in a heartbeat. 💓
Jean-Richard (8/5): Lovely authentic hotel - My daughter and I stayed for a week at the Pietra di Luna in August. We upgraded to a twin room which had a lovely big balcony and a sea view. The room was spotless and very comfortable, it was cleaned every day by a lovely lady, and our towels were changed daily. The whole hotel is kept beautifully clean, as is the pool and pool area. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. Breakfast was quite informal with excellent choices. We kept the same table for dinner and we had the choice of three options to begin the meal and three options for a main course, and then a choice of dessert. Often we were too full to have and a dessert. The food was lovely, all locally sourced. There were a lot of Italian families staying at the hotel, which is a good recommendation.

Even more impressed this year. - The beach package - Beach towels supplied and beds reserved for the duration of our stay and literally across the road ! Breakfast - a great selection of foods and teas and coffees on offer. Bedrooms - Offered welcome respite after a day in the sun due to Air conditioning and daily cleaning by the wonderful chambermaids. The Staff - Professional, Pleasant ,Polite and genuinely interested in helping their guests enjoy a perfect holiday experience. A special mention for Antonio and Romina. Absolutely nothing.

Only Italians in hospitality business, what is a huge advantage compare to Rome! Would've been good if Concierge knew more about local restaurants, sea trips, currency exchange spots, rentals etc.
Kristiinafin (10/5): Exceptional - I liked everything, the room was clean and big, included all needed amenities. Cleaning was done every morning. The breakfast could be better but it was anyways better than in other average hotels in Italy. Location was perfect, very near to beach but still in room was silent. Also hotel included own beach club which was very nice.
C. (5/5): Nice but darkened by mold - The location was perfect, having access to the beach and pool was really amazing and the views were incredible. This is a great base location town as shops and restaurants were reasonably priced as opposed to overpriced towns such as positano. Housekeeping and most of the staff was very polite. Shout out to Antonio at the outside bar, you could tell he really cared and enjoyed his job. And Rosalina (I think) in housekeeping for doing her best to communicate with me despite our language barrier. They deserve to be recognized for going above and beyond. There was black mold in the hotel room! The ac unit (which did absolutely nothing to cool down the room) was covered in black mold which is hidden under a desk. There was also mold on the ceiling above the ac unit. I addressed this with a female at the front desk with a concern about the shower being dirty. I informed her I have allergies but even if I didn't black mold is very dangerous. She sent the cleaning lady up, the dirty shower ended up being just damage so that was okay but nothing was done about the mold and to be honest, what is housekeeping going to do about that? They needed to send maintenance or switch my room but unfortunately I was trapped there for 5 nights. We had to sleep with the balcony door open which was very loud... People setting off fireworks at midnight, motorcycles revving their engines at 4M. Even with the ac off and balcony door open I woke up every morning stuffy and coughing. I understand they were fully booked but to take no action against a dangerous environment really took away from how nice the rest of the hotel was. Especially when someone informs you of an allergy.

Dominic (4/5): An Old school congress hotel that has seen its best times - The Location of the hotel is very nice, the staff was also nice The Breakfast is old school. In Italy there is so much good food, why don´t bring it into the dining room at the breakfast? A very pricy hotel, but the breakfast is like a hostel breakfast, with poor quality. The Rooms and the interieur was also old school. Italian design can do better, even when its vintage
