- Ana (5/5): - El desayuno estaba bien y la ubicación Nos tocó en el ala antigua, no parece ni de cerca un hotel de 4 estrellas, el precio muy elevado (cogido con bastantes meses de antelación) y tienen una opción eco sobre el cambio de toallas y no nos importaba que no nos las cambiaran… pero resulta que no pasaban por la habitación para nada, ni para ver si nos hacía falta papel higiénico. Una cosa es ser “eco” y otra es dar nulo servicio en las habitaciones, no reclamamos porque fueron muy pocos días.

- Gorilla (10/5): - 夫婦で利用しました。 大変綺麗なオーシャンビューと美味しい朝ごはん、部屋は綺麗で快適で最高でした。部屋からはサンセットが望めます。アクセスも良いです。 夜は部屋が少し暗いです(光量不足)。あと、最初は１階のフロアに通されたのですが、オーシャンビューではあるものの、沿道が一般開放されている道なので、ランニングされてる方や他の観光客などが目の前を通ります。ので、中がハッキリと見えてしまい、プライバシー上問題があると思いました。その旨伝えたところ、上階層の部屋をご用意いただいたので、個人的に不満はありませんが、1階のお部屋は注意が必要です。料金は変わらないはずです。

Wel of niet dagelijks je kamer schoonmaken en of wel geen schone handdoeken. Je krijgt dan kortingsbonnen die je in het restaurant kunt inleveren. Goed voor het milieu Iets gehorig. Wij sliepen vlakbij de lift en veel gasten waren om 6 uur al wakker. Kletsen dan op de gang naar de lift toe.

- Abigail (10/5): A very peaceful stay - I only have good things to say about Beach Hotel Sunshine The location is incredible and it’s amazing value for money. * There is a huge selection of food at breakfast ranging from traditional Japanese to some western options. * The location is great. Amazing views from the hotel and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and the option of getting a bus which goes directly to Kabira Bay. It’s also just a 30 minute walk from Family Mart. * Laundry service is available * The rooms are clean, comfortable and include a hair dryer/shampoo/body wash * The hotel has great additional features too such as complimentary Okinawa tea/infused water, Eco Programmes which reward you with discount coupons to use at the hotel for bicycle hire, drinks, food etc and it also has an art gallery. We had a great stay, the staff were friendly and the check in/check out process was very easy. I’d 100% recommend. Not related to the property, but booking.com prompted us to book an airport transfer costing £90. Thankfully we received a messages from the hotel saying that we can get a taxi from the airport costing 5,000 Yen (about £25).

- Insiya (10/5): Beautiful ocean views, starry skies, full peace and lots of time and space to slow down - I loved the panoramic views of the ocean no matter where I was at the property. Saw some gorgeous sunsets on non-rainy days. I also loved the greenery in and around the property. Also, I had forgotten my headphones on my flight, and the person working on the front desk was very helpful. She called the airline for me, explained my situation, and coordinate the entire process so I could go pick them up from the airport lost and found. She made everything feel so seamless and easy. A big thank you to her fro me :) I wish that the room cleaning would have been more thorough than what it was on the days that had been set for cleaning, and that there were more options available for food.

- Helen (5/5): Hellhöriges „Kein Beachhotel“ im Nichts - Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und bemüht. Die Anlage war schön gestaltet. Es war sauber. Der Wellness-Bereich war ganz schön. Der Name „Beach Hotel“ ist irreführend, da der nächste Strand 2km weg ist. Man ist an einer Mauer am Wasser. Die Lage ist super schlecht zu erreichen. Der Bus fährt alle 3 Stunden tagsüber und der nächste Supermarkt ist 30 Min zu Fuß weg. Das Essen beim Frühstück war okay aber jeden Tag das gleiche und viele Suppen. Abendessen haben wir aufgrund der sehr hohen Preise nicht gegessen. Die Zimmer im Hauptgebäude sind in die Jahre gekommen, besonders schlimm war die Lautstärke. Die Zimmertüren knallen jedes Mal extrem laut, die anderen Gäste die auf dem Flur geredet haben haben einen nachts mehrfach geweckt. Zum Glück konnten wir nach einer Nacht das Zimmer wechseln, wo es etwas besser war. Ich würde nicht nochmal dieses Hotel buchen.

- Frederik (8/5): Beautifully located and peaceful hotel with great staff, but misleadingly named since there’s no beach. - The hotel was wonderfully calm and set in a beautiful location overlooking the sea, with very nice and helpful staff who made our stay pleasant. Despite its name, The Beach Hotel Sunshine doesn’t actually have a beach, which was quite disappointing

- NASU (10/5): 絶景の宿 - 何と言っても部屋からの景色が良かったです。エメラルドグリーンの穏やかな海向こうに竹富島が見えました。二泊三日したんで一泊目は島に沈む夕日がとても美しかったです。大浴場の露天風呂から見えた星空も素敵でした。 次に部屋が良かったです。景色が楽しめる大きな窓とバルコニー。ソファに座ってもベッドからでも景色を楽しめました。アメニティも充実していて良かったです。部屋にあるお風呂も広く快適でした。 朝食もたくさんあって、また窓から美しい景色を見ながら食べれて良かったです。 もちろんスタッフの皆さんが親切でフレンドリーで、のんびりと過ごせる宿でした。また利用したいです。 大浴場の男湯は問題無かったのですが、女湯は洗い場待ちが長かったようです。

- PEI YI (8/5): The ocean view was good in hotel. - Service is good, the hotel staff is nice let people feel warm. What we lived was old one building, the equipments was kinda historical.
- Elisa Jasmin (9/5): Super Hotel an schöner Lage - Das Personal ist super freundlich, es gibt ein tolles Frühstücks Buffet und einen süssen Souvenir Laden. Die Zimmer sind schön, es gibt aber kaum Platz für grosse Koffer. Wer sich für den Eco Putzplan entscheidet kriegt dies als Gutscheine vergütet. Parkplatz ist Gratis und das Gelände rund ums Hotel ist sehr schön bepflanzt Für das Abendessen im Hotel muss vor 17:00 Uhr reserviert, und auch schon das Menü entschieden werden. Die Atmosphäre war solala, würde eher in andere Restaurants gehen.

Pas de transports publics ni de navette pour et depuis l'aéroport. Mais taxis réactifs, jamais plus de 5 minutes d'attente..compter 5000yen pour le trajet aéroport et 1200yen pour le centre ville.
- KiSu HVN (10/5): Octobre 2025 - Un bel hôtel, des infrastructures suffisamment spacieuse pour s'y sentir bien. Une vue extraordinaire depuis la piscine, un personnel aux petits soins, une expérience très agréable à revivre. Tout s'est bien passé.

- Maria (10/5): - Super dejligt hotel. Vi var der på et tidspunkt hvor der ikke var mange andre turister (oktober). Det var super dejligt. Altid plads ved poolen og selve øen var smuk og dejlig. Der var som sådan ikke noget jeg ikke kunne lide.

- Lara (3/5): Geen aanrader - Zwembad en tuin zijn mooi (er is geen toegang tot t strand). Locatie is prima als je een auto tot je beschikking hebt. Ontbijt was bij onze prijs inbegrepen maar (inter)continentaal aanbod was verschrikkelijk, we zijn na de eerste ochtend gillend weggevlucht naar een tentje om de hoek. Kamers zijn zeer gedateerd, erger dan op de foto’s te zien is. We hadden een Twin room, helaas was een van de bedden een opklapbed met keihard matras. Restaurant aanbeveling van het hotel was matig. Stad Ishigaki is ook geen aanrader, we vonden het vies en vooral gericht op drinken & karaoke. Onze tip: verblijf in het noordelijk deel van t eiland, prachtige idyllisch baaitjes!

Did I mention, free parking and ocean view if you choose. Excellent place I dream about coming back. Zilch, nada, nothing.
