• Clare (10/5): Clean and spacious studio rooms. Friendly staffs! - The staffs were really friendly and the location is super convenient. The rooms are so spacious so it’s perfect for two people or if you are working from “home”. The hotel is located on quite a steep slope so have to be careful when it rains.
• John Langford (10/5): We were made to feel welcome at this comfortable hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - The staff were friendly and efficient. On arrival a staff member, Mandy, assisted me in showing me how everything in the unit worked. The housekeeping was excellent and the amenities were modern and clean. The location of the hotel was a short way up a steep one-way street; but we were close to shops and restaurants. When checking out the receptionist was happy to call a taxi for us and assisted us with taking our luggage to the taxi. The kitchen door was a bit awkwardly placed in that a door- stop was needed to access the fridge without having to close the door. The kitchen cupboard had two small bowls but no plates, so we decided to purchase two plates.

• Maxinne (5/5): Great room, inconvenient location - This is a nicely designed, scandic-style hotel. So the furniture was great. The room was particularly large for HK, it had a small kitchen, generous wardrobe and shower, a sala set and a foldable dining table. Great common areas too. The hotel is close to Queens Road so lots of nearby options to eat and shop THAT HILL. I won't recommend staying here if you have heavy luggage, have difficulty with physical activity or a senior citizen. The hotel sits on a steep hill and at the end of this hill is a dead end so if you ask a taxi or the Uber to pick you up right in front of the hotel, prepare to get some grief from uncle about having to back out of a steep hill to get to the road

• Liza (6/5): It was ok. Luckily it was just a place to sleep. - The location was great. Cleaning staff for rooms were a bit lazy. The rooms were very tired looking (nothing like the photos). Staff were pleasant but not particularly friendly. Pain to get a coffee from reception every morning. Should have a basic coffee machine in room or at least if requested can offer.

Хорошее расположение относительно метро и основных достопримечательностей на острове Гонконг (правда тяжеловато в горку ходить ко входу😅) Красивый вид из окна с 22 этажа :)) При бронировании было написано, что предоплата не взимается, однако с карты списали (заморозили) стоимость первой ночи, а потом в отеле пришлось заплатить всю сумму + она была чуть больше указанной в бронировании, и на ресепшене долго не могли объяснить, почему так (оказалось, городские налоги не были указаны на букинге), а разморозка снялась с моей карты только через месяц, не критично, но не очень приятно…
• Sarah (2/5): Unhelpful team. Inconvenient location. - I’ve stated before and been your KOL. The video had over 200k views and I recommended YnF a lot. But this stay was not good. Staff quite unhelpful. Even when I was in an ambulance, staff don’t care. Uncaring, not kind. Would never stay again.
• Wendy (9/5): Goed naar ons zin, de receptie was hulpvaardig en de buurt is top. - De locatie Wanchai was heerlijk maar wel een kleine helling naar hotel. Wel te doen ook met kapotte knie ! De snacks. S morgens te halen bij de receptie was fijn. De koffie bij receptie is zeer goed . TErras en gezamenlijke erg gezellig. KEuken voorzieningen waren prima maar de deur was zeer onhandig en zwaar. De badkamer moet gerenoveerd worden en keuken ook. Schoonmaak : ook de plinten kan nauwkeuriger, maar was schoon voor de rest. Oplaadpunt voor devices maar aan 1 kant van het bed.

• Kristian (8/5): Spacious modern apartment in Wan Chai - The apartment was quite spacious, bright and clean. Really good smart TV with YouTube. AC was working really well. Good Wi-Fi. The staff at the reception have been very friendly and helpful. Very close to Wan Chai metro (Hopewell Centre entrance). A bit worn-out, there were stains and cracks all over the furniture and walls, but nothing serious. One thing that I didn't like, however, was that although the bedding was clean and has been changed several times throughout the stay, it always had this typical "Hong Kong street market" odor to it, which was a bit unpleasant. Same goes for towels.

• Serene (5/5): Great and friendly staff at reception. But room condition was appalling. - Location was great The room is old and not cleaned properly. Was quite dusty, and the bathroom was mouldy. The water from the filtered water dispenser tasted metallic. Wasn’t expecting any views but the windows were facing ledges with old rags and pipes. The bathroom door had odd stains and spots on it. Trying not to let my imagination run too wild on what caused those stains. The dust on the wall was falling onto the sheets, trying to ignore those, get thru the night and get out.

• weiqiong (1/5): You have to walk up the hill and no taxi is willing to come up. - I had a bad experience checking out of the hotel. The receptionist (a guy) is very unhelpful in getting me the right pick up spot for the uber and he is unwilling to help me with the luggage down the stairs even I am 7 month pregnant. He is very rude and unprofessional and he speaks to me in Cantonese which I don’t understand and told me he doesn’t speak English. He has a very bad manner and I need hotel management to solve this issue.

• Anastasiia (10/5): - We came to Hong Kong for two weeks and are so happy we chose this hotel! After walking all around the city, I can say this is the perfect location. It’s close to the central district, yet quieter and more peaceful. There’s everything you need nearby — a 24-hour supermarket just around the corner, and cafés and restaurants at every step. We stayed in a studio with a kitchenette, and the zoning was very well designed and convenient. What we appreciated most was that they took our requests into account, and we stayed on the highest, 24th floor with a beautiful city view. In January it wasn’t cold at all; we kept the windows open most of the time, and it felt very fresh and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was good, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The 160 cm bed with a firm mattress was very comfortable. The only minor inconvenience was that the bathroom door is located directly opposite the bed, so it was a bit uncomfortable to turn on the light at night if someone was sleeping. However, we had seen this layout in advance when choosing the room — the hotel website provides photos and floor plans. Many thanks to the hotel and its staff for this wonderful stay. We highly recommend it because it offers great value for money considering its location and comfort. By the way, the room is very quiet!

Staying in the room, it is quite quiet. 😊 So worries! The slope leading to the hotel is not very convenient for elderly people. Morgens gibt es Kaffee, Obst und Snacks kostenlos. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, könnte es schwer haben, den Berg zum Hotel hochzukommen.

The place has a very authentic Hong Kong atmosphere, while being pleasant, clean, and (as for HK) spacious. Staff is helpful, there were also free breakfast snacks available to grab by reception! Nothing to complain about. The furnishing and appliances show their age a bit, but they are clean and well maintained.

Nice Terrace! Quiet location which we loved. The „hill“ is 2min up and with luggage annoying, but not a big deal in my opinion. Therefore you get a quiet location. A win is a win. I mean it‘s Hongkong so what you get is decent and the price is very high. Very hard mattress, bad windows and in the room you shouldn‘t look to close. Also the shower you must get used to it. But must say it‘s a fine option for Hongkong.

Entrance lobby was decorated aligned with the pictures you see in Booking, but rooms were old, rusted and outdated. The worst part was that windows had a single layered glass, and you could hear absolutely every noise from outside, including cars, dogs, construction noise…you name it. All windows also had a circular ventilation fan, meaning the room was never insulated.

The duvet and bed were just right for me. Not too warm not too cold. It was really a mini-apartment so overall excellent value for money. I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, there was really nothing I didn't like. I cannot think of anything. Maybe the curtains could be more blackout at night. But this is really just a nitpick.

• Samantha (7/5): Great location for exploring HK island - Great location for getting around HK Island. Comfy bed, nice reception staff. Some drinks and snacks left in the fridge as a welcome was a nice touch. The hotel is up a steep slope so be prepared to walk up that multiple times a day. Once you're walking round HK, you'll realise incline is pretty hard to escape. I was told at check in I had been upgraded, it was on the third floor room and the interior felt out dated vs the lobby of the hotel and pictures shown online. Obviously would have been nicer to be on a much higher floor for better views of the city. However I didn't go and ask to be changed after lugging all my bags around. The bathroom felt like it needed an upgrade, same as the kitchen. But the other rooms were good a good size.
