- Colin (3/5): I strictly slept here and that was all it was good for. - The proximity to Carlisle was the most redeeming quality. The pool being closed, the TV not working, the roach in the shower, the beds having springs that stab you all night
- Paul (8/5): -
- Bahamian Queen đ (6/5): Okay stay - It was quite and good location The place was not clean the elevator smelled like urine.
- Foutz (2/5): They are cheap and try to scam and lie. - We didn't eat breakfast The staff was inappropriate
- Andrea (5/5): - First floor No frig no microwave no coffee maker and cockroches
- Jason (1/5): Wasnât worth the time and money I donât recommend this location - Nothing needs a lot of work Everything it was dirty an run down
- Zone 15 (8/5): -
- dennisgN6559ZF (2/5): How many roached are to many? - Motel was clean enough for a motel 6, stayed 1.5 nights, first night was ok, about what you would expect. how ever after we came back to the hotel room after our day out, we had scene serval roaches run from the dog food bowl (it was empty when we left so its not like there was something to entice them into it). We immediately packed up the vehicle checking everything before packing it a way. Proceeded to go check out and make a complaint about the roaches, but they came took the card and walked away from the window and didn't want to come back after knocking and standing around for a few minutes. we will not be booking with any Motel 6s in the foreseeable future
- alpha (6/5): - Safe Parking has a friendly and professional staff.
- Nathan (6/5): Budget? Yes. Want quality? Pay more elsewhere - Cheap Run down, felt like a prison, shower temp impossible to maintain for more than 5 seconds!
- alpha (6/5): - Parking was safe and the roomes was ok
- vincent (8/5): - Friendly easy check in and check out
- Berenice (4/5): - Laundry mat was full of roaches.
Room had only 1 towel
- River (2/5): - There was blood on the doorframe to the bathroom and smeared on the wall in our room. The bathroom door didnât close. There was hair in the sink and even though it wasnât a smoking room it smelled of smoke and some other odor I canât put a name to.
- Timothy (8/5): Above average for the cost - It was a good deal, especially for the cost of the room. I do not need a lot to be happy for an overnight stay by myself. The room was clean, well lit, and it was a place to sleep. The only one challenge was the stream that came out of the shower, more like standing under a faucet, but again still very happy with my stay!
- Brandon (2/5): Every reason the price is what it is. - Room smelled terrible. The backup lock was broken in half. The air conditioner wasnât secured in the wall, you could see daylight. The bottom of the entrance door also had light shining through.
- Joshua (10/5): - Pet friendly nice staff clean room and very affordable
- Ryan (4/5): - You pay what you get but seeing roaches in the morning when you turn thr light on is something i didnt want to see and the shower was nice but i had to duck under it if i wanted to get my hair wet
- John (4/5): Cheap room, but not that cheap. - The front desk was very good. The room was well worn. Wall was full of plaster patches. The worst thing was bugs. I killed 5 of them. Killed one 10 minutes later another came out and so on. I guess you get what you pay for, but get an exterminator.
- jenniferrW9880JW (2/5): Disgusting - An absolute dump. I stayed for one night with my dog. One of the beds in my room had hairs and bits of something else unidentifiable on the sheets. Good thing I was only one person. The room also had roach baits in it, which my dog got a hold of. There was no roach on the wall. There was dirt behind the night stand. It looked like instead of vacuuming they just brush it all behind there. I used to stay here a few times a year, but that was pre-covid. Clearly nothing has been done to this place since before that.
- Samantha (1/5): Motel No Sleep - Nothing at all. There were 2 dogs right next door constantly barking and howling from 9pm-1am. I had to call the front office more than 3 times and I had to pretty much beg them to relocate to another room for my length of stay. I didn't get to change rooms. They changed their mind and told me that the man next door to me with the loud dogs wouldn't be back until 12am. The man never came back until 1 am. I should be refunded and they didn't even accommodate me or even apologized.
- Tara01wolf (5/5): Decent room, good value for two rooms - The location was good. The pool was closed and the cover was covered with green fungus and drew a huge amount of gnats and bugs. It just needs cleaned up. As I stated above the bug situation outside was out of control. It made going out on the balcony difficult. The staff was very rude upon arrival. He was not happy we used booking.com and that we pre-paid. He wouldnât check us in and we were very scared and nervous because we had our children with us and paid in advance with no way of being able to pay again. He insisted booking hadnât send over the code yes paying them. We had to figure out how to call booking and get them to send a release in order to get checked in. After an hour we finally were checked in and frustrated to say the least. When we checked out he expressed attitude that he wasnât paid until the morning. The room itself was fairly clean. We had two rooms and one didnât have bed spreads and one did but they were stained badly. The pool cover really needs cleaned and outside bugs under control. The balcony lights need to be big lights also because all of the bugs come right to your door. Also the rooms smelled very badly and Iâm guessing maybe pest control had been in that day. We aired them out and I had some febreeze. We were there for just the night as we weee going to Hershey Park in the morning so it was good for the night. The diner food is excellent!! I highly recommend Beacon Hill Diner!
- Dennis (6/5): - Basic, good for short stays but has been severely neglected in most respects.
- Ad (10/5): Thank you for being so nice to everyone đ đ - They are very welcoming & respectful stuff. Thank you so much for having me. I like everything. Very professional đ
- Sherice (4/5): - We were in the area to go to a Brandon Lake concert at Hershey Park. It's a budget hotel, which is what I needed and I was very happy that my two puppies stayed for free. The room was pretty clean, with the exception of what appeared to be blood on one of the pillows; the bed was extremely comfortable and the Front Desk Gentleman was friendly. On the downside, there was no fridge, but my fault because I forgot to look for that when I booked. They have a microwave with the laundry area. There was just a tiny bar of soap, the grass wasn't cut so it was hard finding a place for the pups to relieve themselves. It was hard getting housekeeping to give us some much needed supplies. I walked over to them and they said they didn't understand English, so I had to go to the Front Desk to request. We were running late on check out day and someone kept banging on the door, causing my pups to bark. They said they'd have to charge if we weren't out soon. The Hotel wasn't full, so I figured this was uncalled for. A lot of places give you an hour's grace. Something unrelated-At check in, I was approached by someone who was twenty one weeks pregnant and wanted to pet my pups. She was extremely nice and that was the highlight of my weekend. If she ever sees this, I hope nothing but the best for you and your child.
- Raymond (4/5): - I understand you get what you pay for, however staying in many motel 6's in many different states in my travels i was by far one of the worste...there was black mold growing on the shower curtains, water pressure was very weak, someone els hair and pubs was all over the shower, staff was hesitantly pleasant overall, the ac was missing its filter and screen, very unsafe for kids. Overall the stay was ok quiet for being next to a airport. but i would probably never stay or recommend anyone to this motel location.
- Yvonne (6/5): âď¸âď¸âď¸ - The rate of a room is what makes a trip exceptional.
I also was surprised that there are smoking rooms. I would recommend getting is an exhaust fans for smokers. They pull in fresh air from outside while pulling stale air out to keep your surrounding air clean ly thing I could say was the beds were super uncomfortable. Nor another wash clothes and towels. (Some were not there where the maids put them.) Beds
- Dawn (2/5): - The room was dirty and food was smeared on wall. We left right away and i paid for 2 nights and no refund
- Dil (2/5): - Very poor
- Scott (2/5): - It was run down. The furniture was falling apart. The bed
- Amy Norwood Moore (1/5): - Nothing Everything it is Old Dirty bathroom door had holes in it
- Terry (6/5): It was just ok -
- Ben (8/5): - The hotel need some upgrading
Old building
Friendly staff
- Lavonne (10/5): - It was a great stay for the price
- Michael (6/5): Place to sleep - Staff was friendly. Room was clean and in keeping with my expectations for a motel in this quality class Area around elevator was very dirty and smelled like ppl have been peeing there. Uninsulated ice buckets let ice melt much to fast. Surprised to see pool was inoperable.
- Bryson (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (6/5): - A good place to stop over for a night's sleep, but nothing to write home about
- Harris (8/5): Fabulous - Very nice people who run it my kitties stayed for free and there was no hassle! Homeless till the first and the owner is so sweet!
- Natalie (8/5): - We just needed a place to stay overnight, so it was nice. It wasnt the hilton, but it worked for what we needed.
- Eric (8/5): - Not greatest but cheap
- Deborah (6/5): - I just needed a cheap place to spend the night with a dog and it served its purpose.
The guy who checked me in was really nice and helpful.
- Lisa (8/5): - Pretty good
- David (8/5): - The attendant was polite and efficient. The property is in the budget category, but it is reasonably maintained and better than other equivalents.
- Shermika (5/5): Horrible - Nothing The room was dirty! I had to sweep and mop the floor myself! I also had to buy sheets and blankets! This room was DIRTY! The property was DIRTY!! I had to scrub the shower, buy a small throw rug for the floor! Tv barely worked!
- Robert (10/5): - Good stay!
- Jason (6/5): - Needs some tlc
- Chaz (8/5): - I had planned on a bad review.. but the staff made up for it. If you need a budget place to stay, this works. The place is going through renovations.. and it shows why they need it. I will say it looks a little glomy and dangerous, but it was very quiet and everyone there seemed nice and decent. Once again, a very budget stay, this isnt a perfect place. It does have an elevator though, which is very nice for 3 floors.
- Matthew (4/5): Not very comfortable - There are bugs in the room and the sheets were not clean
- Sean (8/5): - The room I was in said non smoking but smelt like steal smoke and also had a cigarette burn in my sheet
- Joshua (6/5): It was a good stay other than not having a fridge and microwave - Clean and good location Not every room has a fridge and microwave
- William (10/5): Quick stop - It was a great day very clean and very nice. Comfortable room. Very good service. I give it five stars.*****.
- Stephanie (4/5): - Property was very run down. Bedding had burn holes in them. The bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were so flat it was like sleeping without one.
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Trek33149082977 (2/5): Just no - The room had a very unpleasant odor and it was dirty with sticky floors. The entire place is very much in need of an update. Pillows were flat and bedspread had stains on it. Shower floor and sink were not clean and light from outside came though the entire frame of the door. Did not see any bugs but imagine they were there. The grounds were a mess and weeds were overgrown. We didnât pay a lot but honestly would not stay here again even if it were free.
- Greg (10/5): - Just a not easy on the eyes area
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible, first room I was given I went to head to the door and a dog came and peed on the door. No idea whose dog it was. In a hotel that says no pets. So went back to the front desk they were nice and gave me another room, went in there and sat on the bed and a spring pooped thru the mattress. So went back to the front desk and very nice again gave me a third room, room was ok smelled of curry, but I was finally able to get a few hours of sleep and move on with my trip. Needless to say, I will not be staying there again.
- Kandy (6/5): - It was acceptable for the price
- Angie (10/5): - Chris at the front desk was friendly and extremely helpful. I have stayed here for several days twice, and I will definitely be returning. My only complaint is every day, the Wi-Fi goes out for at least a few minutes sometimes twice a day. Also, thereâs no coffee in the rooms like other motels. Other than that, everything was great.
- Swati (6/5): - Not satisfied.
- Natasha (4/5): Ehh wonât book here again - Cheap and convenient I was placed in a room that was taped as evidence I didnât like that at all as I was traveling with my family. Secondly the sink needed to be fixed the room smelled badly when no one was in it. The heat and cool air was jammed the numbers were fading.
- Rodriguez (5/5): Passable -
- Shelby (2/5): Worst stay EVER!! - This was by far the Worst stay I have ever had. The internet was choppy, and I had to move around in the room to try and get good reception. I needed ice, and the ice machine wasn't working. It wasn't very clean. The towels in the room looked like they had been used repeatedly. They were faded. The TV only shows 5 channels, and the table in the room was broken for me to put my computer on.
- Alghouli (1/5): Bad -
- Justin (10/5): - Haven't been here for awhile
- Brandon (10/5): - The place and rooms are ok could have been a little more put together
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debbie (8/5): - I wonât mind staying here again itâs very easy to get to and it was very quiet and peaceful
- Yocklovich (4/5): Disappointing -
- Amanda (10/5): - It's clean. I will be back. Chris at the front desk was great., well manner guy.
- Lindsay (8/5): - The front desk staff was amazing! So very helpful and kind.
- Diana (10/5): - It was a good experience.
- darshika (8/5): - Wish it had some complementary breakfast else excellent
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean it was wonderful the shower exceptional beautiful shower I did not fall usually I fall. Nothing
- Robert (10/5): - Cheap
- Marcus (2/5): - There was roaches going up the walls,in the microwave, and in the bathroom. Most I say anything else.
- Aaron (10/5): - Lowest price in the land. Place was clean and quiet. What more could you ask for.
- Aaron (10/5): - Upon arriving, Staff has always been top notch here. Very friendly and accommodating. Itâs not the most luxurious place but the price is right for this. Has all the essentials and wonât break the bank. Thumbs up
- Zaragoza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aditya (10/5): - Service is good
- Beth (8/5): - Perfect for a quick nights sleep. can be noisy on friday night when people congregate in parking area with music and drinks. bring ear plgs
- FRED (2/5): NEVER AGAIN - When we got to the hotel, we had to wait 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were there. He seemed as though he didnt know what he was doing. The bed size was not what we paid for, and it sank in the middle. We ended up packing up and leaving. We didnt even stay.
- Robert (2/5): - roaches, bed cover sheet holes, hole in the wall
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nope don't do it unless you're desperate - The beds were so hard I would have rather slept on plywood at Home Depot. The floors look clean but they were dirty, you'll see in the pictures where the ceiling was torn up, stuff on the towels, blood on the wall, shower floor was dirty there was hair. It was quiet that's about all I have to say about it. We had a death in the family and I checked out a day early and instead of refunding my deposit they told me I needed to go through hotels.com. hotels.com told me I need to go through the property, I just want my money.
- Marcus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gurinder (10/5): Good for the money I paid - I checked in at 9 pm and checked out at 4.00 am. Had nice sleep no time to look around. Quick hot shower and gone. Receptionist was ver courteous.
- Ovezgeldi (10/5): - Very good
- Michele (5/5): Worst stay I have had there. Usually had a good stay but not this time. - Location was easy on and off. Room smelled musty, lite above sink didnât work, the pillows had big stains on them and 2 of the pillows were Ripped. No response when I told them about it. Room wasnât clean when we returned back from our outing for the day.
- Kathleen (2/5): - I was grateful that we were able to check in appropriately 25 minutes earlier than 3 PM and requested a smoking room which we received we both understood that the motel was under construction so you let some things slide not the problem and when we returned back to our room I noticed the feces on the wall in the bathroom behind the door and I refused to use the shower because of the shower floor being black with something but the straw that broke the camel's back was when we were in bed getting ready to go to sleep is when we spotted the cockroach just walking on top of the desk in front of the TV. I then called the front desk and they immediately switched our room. If it had not been 1:38 AM and I didn't have a 3 hour drive and was not so exhausted I would have demanded my money back the 2nd room wasn't much better
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room I had smelled like peepee
- Aaron (10/5): - Overall, not a bad motel. Staff was very nice and accomadating. Will stay there again in future.
- Aaron (10/5): - Place is clean and perfect for a basic room
- Carol (2/5): - Donât stay here unless youâre absolutely destitute for a place to stay. The room was dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke and there was damage to the furniture. There were also cigarette burns on the bedspread of a ânon-smokingâ room.
- Andrew (6/5): - This is an older property (I'd estimate built in the 1970s or early 1980s) that lacks the most up-to-date conveniences (particularly available outlets for all our devices) but is clean and very convenient to downtown Harrisburg.
- Michell (7/5): Good - Close to the show we were vending. 1 bed was extremely hard. No microwave or fridge.
- Spencer (6/5): - Staff,
Proximity to highways,
Ease of booking.
- Sarah (2/5): - Very outdated and in poor shape, broken ceiling, missing tiles, etc.
