Guest Reviews
- T5403CFjenb (10/5): Great getaway - Lovely stay at the lodge for a girls’ weekend. We took advantage of an off season special rate and loved every bit of our trip. The restaurant on property was delicious and the service exceptional.
The rooms are well appointed with comfy beds and luxurious sheets. The bathroom includes heated floors, huge clawfoot tubs with a beautiful lake view. Mini fridge in the room are an extra nice touch.
We will definitely be back during warmer weather.
- Trek61420497541 (10/5): Wonderful anniversary getaway - Fantastic getaway for our 34th anniversary. The room was very nice, and the view of the lake was beautiful. We had dinner in the lodge, and it was amazing. We loved the friendly staff, and the food was excellent.
- X6767WOandrewr (10/5): Great place to gather w/friends and family! - We spent a weekend at this place with family. The decor is warm and unique, the facilities spacious yet cozy, lovely views and excellent service from the personable staff. And the food is fantastic - must try the pork chop! Highly recommended.
- F7662IPcarlas (10/5): Relax Revive & rejoice - Such an amazing experience and place! The staff was beyond expectations. The amount of attention to detail in all aspects was astounding. The tranquillity & the most comfy beds made for such a relaxing restful evening .
Can we talk about the Appalachian Restaurant…I kid you not, one of the most delectable dinners ever! If I were a local, this would be my go to place
& if you want to enjoy the call of nature
Combined with 5star service you are on for a treat
- mandybW4581RN (10/5): Becoming an annual April trip! - We love the Lodge on Lake Lure! This is the second visit and we can't wait to go again. We love how quaint it is and how nice everyone is! The beds are comfortable and rooms are so clean. One of the highlights for sure is eating at the Appalachia Restaurant.
- willb616 (10/5): 5 Stars – Pure Serenity at The Lodge on Lake Lure! - Our stay at The Lodge on Lake Lure was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in a peaceful, private setting, it felt like our own little slice of paradise. The grounds are stunning—lush, vibrant landscaping filled with blooming flowers made every morning walk feel like a dream.
The vibe was so calm and quiet, it was the perfect escape from the chaos of daily life. And let me just say: the beds were heavenly. Out of all the places we’ve stayed during our travels, these were hands-down the most comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud.
From the views to the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches throughout the property, everything was spot-on. We left feeling totally refreshed and already talking about when we can come back.
- colletted441 (10/5): best place on lake lure - I have eaten at their Appalachia restaurant, which is the best restaurant in lake lure and a 10 out of 10, but this time I stayed the night at the lodge. Everything from the employees to the accommodations was excellent and would stay at no other place but here in lake lure!
- Keith (10/5): Beautiful facility. - Unique Lodge with lots of personality and charm. First class operation. Very clean and many amenities. Staff was extremely friendly.
- mikecT2522YB (10/5): The Lodge on Lake Lure Is Amazing!!! - The Lodge on Lake Lure is just the best and deserves six stars at least!!! The rooms are remarkably comfortable, the staff makes you feel like family, and the in-house restaurant, Appalachia, nails the fine line between fine dining and comfort food. This place simply has it all. Finally, but not least, the staff is phenomenal, especially Amanda and Chef Tim. They make you feel like you have stepped into their own homes. To cap it off, what can you say about a place that takes care of you while a disaster is happening around you? This happened during the recent Hurricane Helene disaster and with no power, no cell service, and no internet available, they took great care of us and made us feel safe and secure. We truly loved our full visit here and recommend it to one and all.
- hupph2024 (10/5): Tranquil Lake and Majestic Mountains - An absolutely fabulous weekend escape from anywhere.
Top shelf accommodations with a superb restaurant (Appalachia) on property. Highly recommend the lodge boat tour to take in the entire area around sunset.
Minutes from Chimney Rock, NC and other local attractions.
We can’t wait to go back again.
- BevnJer (10/5): A Relaxing Place to Stay - This is a beautifully restored historical building in a peaceful setting. It’s a great place to go to just “chill” for a bit, but also close enough to some good hiking trails. Also, it’s a good “base of operations” if you’re interested in visiting Hendersonville and/or Asheville: they’re both just about an hour away; making it a great day trip. It’s not a bed and breakfast, however, they have a continental breakfast of cereal (the overnight oats were delicious), homemade muffins and breads, bagels, or toast which we thoroughly enjoyed each morning. Amanda and Sharron were very nice and made our stay enjoyable. There’s a restaurant on site with good food, but pricy. Be sure to take the evening pontoon boat ride that you reserve directly through the Lodge; very relaxing, and informative, enjoyable evening. Recommend you book a room with the oversized clawfoot tub: fantastic for a rejuvenating soak!
- elenarZ3245FL (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing! - What an amazing place and gluten friendly!!! We picked the Lodge based on reviews and the need to find a quick overnight stop and relax for a night after our flight into Charlotte from New England. Although we booked the "overnight room" which is downstairs, when we arrived we were happy to discover that since it was during the week and the Lodge was quiet, we were moved to a similar room but on the main floor, so we could skip the stairs with our luggage. And this one night stay gets better -- the views are spectacular, our dinner at the Appalachia Restaurant outstanding, all service impeccable, rooms perfectly appointed in updated cabin theme, and morning coffee was full of flavor, plentiful and hot!
When planning this overnight at the Lodge, as a traveler with Celiac, I am always very concerned about continental breakfasts which are typically "carb" heavy. So I sent staff an email prior to my arrival and was I excited that staff went above and beyond to make sure that there were several different gluten free options available, including a bowl of fresh blueberries for the yogurt! After breakfast, it was difficult to leave, so we spent a long time lingering with our coffee, delaying our departure time and looking at the view. We have already booked our return trip for the Fall and can't wait to see the lake in full Fall color.
- H9407NZjordanj (10/5): Amazing trip!!! - The Lodge at Lake Lure was absolutely incredible. We were a late check in and everything was ready for us with notes on exactly what we needed. The rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We were with 4 other couples and toured each one’s room. All were spectacular with a cozy feel. The restaurant had delicious food and was 5 stars. We ate lunch on the dock and swam. It was such a relaxing weekend and we never had to leave the Lodge for anything. The staff was so friendly and catered to all of our needs. The views were impeccable. We will definitely go again!
- Jwegmann (10/5): Another perfect stay! - This is hands down the best place to stay in Lake Lure!! We are repeat visitors to the lodge and it gets better with each visit. Some of the highlights of the weekend were the private access to the lake for swimming, the beautiful lake views from our balcony, fabulous on site restaurant Appalachia and the aesthetic of the historic lodge! It’s in a beautiful, natural setting and we saw deer each morning while eating our breakfast. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating- they really strive for perfection! I can’t say enough about the comfort and beauty of the rooms too. When visiting Lake Lure, this place is really all you need! Once we got on property this past Friday, we didn’t leave again until it was time to head home Sunday. Looking forward to our next visit!
- 602MaryH (10/5): This is a 5 star resort! - My husband & I came here for a 4 night get away. We were not disappointed. The views are spectacular, the food amazing and the staff so accommodating!
We were in room 9 and it was wonderful! Comfy king bed, private balcony and very large bathroom. We took Captain Bill's boat trip the first night and he was great! So informative about the history of Lake Lure.
We did some sight seeing in the mornings (Chimney Rock, Chimney Rock Village & Flowering Bridge) and hung out on our balcony or on the deck of the Lodge in the afternoons. The "continental breakfast" every morning was more than adequate to jump start our day.
Amanda & Anastasia (the front desk staff), Jennifer at the bar & Kathy who served us in the Appalachia were all wonderful!
I left my hair dryer in the room & called them upon returning home. They had found it & said would ship it to me. A few days later, Amanda called to say, they suddenly couldn't find the hair dryer but she went on Amazon and sent me the exact same dryer - free of charge! THAT is customer service!
I worked in the hotel industry for over 20 years and I know all about Hospitality! The Lodge on Lake Lure is 5 Star!
We will be back!
- ChristinaEM86 (10/5): Hidden Gem: The Lodge on Lake Lure - The Lodge on Lake Lure is a true hidden gem! The room and view are unparalleled. We loved the pontoon boat ride and received outstanding service from the entire crew. The dining options were excellent, and our family was thoroughly satisfied with our stay.
- Dawn (10/5): - This is a wonderful place to stay. The Lodge feels like a mountain lodge from the 40s or 50s that has been transported to modern times with all the modern amenities and comforts you’d expect from a modern upscale hotel. The rooms are well appointed, mattresses thick and comfortable and even really good pillows. Great views of the lake as well throughout. Quiet. The on sight restaurant, Appalachia, has some of the best food you’ll have on Lake Lure. Great views again overlooking the lake. A well stocked bar. They recently added a boathouse down on the lake that has a dock bar as well as paddle boards and kayaks. You can even book an evening cruise on the lake on their new pontoon. The owner was on sight our week as well and is a wonderful person to talk to as well as he pitches in to serve food and make sure everyone is doing well and is enjoying. The general manager does the same and the staff are all top notch. We will be going back for a stay!
- G7078EWdavidp (10/5): Best Lake Lure Experience - The best way to experience Lake Lure! The hotel staff made everything easy and ensured you had everything you needed to feel right at home. The view is unbeatable from the restaurant and deck area (which is very large). There’s everything from quiet spots to soak in nature to fun activities by the boat house. One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at!
- haigs1 (2/5): Lack of empathy - Wow. Very underwhelmed. Stayed one night with my husband who has stage 4 cancer and just released from the hospital after having a stroke. We were guests ($350 per night) there and my daughter was being proposed to on the dock. We were watching from the empty restaurant where I was approached and told we couldn’t sit there. I told them I was happy to pay for drinks and food so that my husband could watch the proposal. I was then told it was a reserved table and I was happy to reserve any table by the window and again offered to order food and drinks. We missed the proposal thanks to the ongoing conversation. We ended up in the bar area and tried to make the best of the situation. By the time we left there were zero guests seated in the restaurant area at any of the tables I offered to reserve! Someone needs to look up the definition of hospitality. In all my travels (I’m a travel advisor who has been to 6 of our 7 continents) I have NEVER seen such lack of empathy ever. If I could rate the service a zero I would. It’s my understanding they may be under new ownership so maybe that’s where the disconnect is…. The room was nice but the ac blew so hard and loud I literally had to turn it off so I could sleep (room 17).
- mandybW4581RN (10/5): Beyond expectations on everything! - Wow! What a wonderful surprise and now favorite "get away" destination. The Lodge on Lake Lure was beyond our expectations. Everything was clean, comfortable, and cozy and everyone was friendly, nice, and so helpful. It was a magical time as we were there before the craziness of hot, summer weather, and crowds. The restaurant was by far the best meal we've had in the US. Seriously, great food and drinks! I can't wait to return.
- U3037OQkristib (10/5): Peaceful and Beautiful Stay - We were able to come and stay for a few nights at the lodge on Lake Lure. An amazing treat in every way. Our room was situated on the lower level and faced the lake. We had a back porch all to ourselves while we were there and basked in the beauty and the quiet. My friend and I sat in the quiet beauty of the lake and recharged from the business of life. Our room was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay including wi-fi, a large flat screen tv, mini fridge and an enormous and beautiful bathroom. The bathroom in our room had a walk in shower and a claw foot bath tub for soaking. Every room is slightly different giving you a unique stay each time you visit. All host a gorgeous view of the lake. The restaurant on site was delicious and then offer a continental breakfast each morning. I can’t say enough about the attention to detail given by the owners of this lodge. I wish I could stay a month, but I will absolutely be back! Thank you for the amazing stay!
- James (8/5): - Great views of Lake Lure. Coffee was weak.
- Carolina (10/5): - Pretty, nice, clean. Would be back.
- ladifadic (10/5): OUR NEW FAV PLACE IN ALL OF NC - Absolute Gem of a place
My wife and I tried this place out for out 25th anniversary.
So much charm (amazing rustic décor everywhere)
Such incredible views
Staff so nice
We took the boat cruise--so informative and fun
We rented kayaks and paddle boards too
Just relaxing on the (multiple levels) deck with the views was amazing
We will 100% be back next summer and every summer after
The restaurant inside (Appalachia Restaurant) was 5 stars as well - amazing food and service--and again, the charm and setting were outstanding!!!
- Jeff (10/5): - Beautiful property with a great staff. Exceptionally clean. Good food at the restaurant. Highly recommended staying here if you are looking for a quiet place with amazing views. Will definitely be going back.
- johnkF1989II (8/5): Classy Historic Lake Lodge - Very well done recent refurbishment of a classic, small lake lodge. Lots of stairs, but that's the only negative I can state. Dining room was small & intimate (matching the character of the place) but food and service were excellent.
- erhett (10/5): Lake Lure at its best! - The Lodge at Lake Lure has it all— stunning views, welcoming and attentive staff, fine dining, and charming, comfortable accommodations. We were first greeted by Stephanie at the front desk who introduced us to the property and showed us to our room. We stayed in Room 4 in the Main Lodge building—tremendous views through every window! Our room offered modern comforts and conveniences packaged in rustic elegance. Our private balcony provided the perfect spot to enjoy a beverage before taking part in a boat tour of the lake offered to lodge guests. Captain Scott led the tour and shared entertaining tidbits about the area’s development while pointing out local areas of interest to visitors. We enjoyed two delightful meals at Appalachia. From specially crafted cocktails through salads, entrees and dessert, each course was fresh and beautifully prepared— not to mention delicious! On both evenings, the chef checked in himself to make sure we were enjoying our meals; this is just one example of the personal touches afforded by staying at the Lodge. There are numerous groupings of thoughtfully arranged tables and chairs on the waterfront decks— an ideal location to enjoy a sunset over the mountains. Evenings would find us curled up on the sofas and chairs in the Lodge Great Room reliving the day’s adventures and planning our next trip to the Lodge on Lake Lure. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!
- donaldcU2865TJ (10/5): Wonderfully restored vintage lodge - A very lovely vintage place, restored beautifully. We had a wonderful several days. We had one of the rooms in the main lodge, with a balcony, and overlooking Lake Lure. Very modern boat dock and area, and we enjoyed the pontoon boat tour we were able to book through the lodge.
- billbM2639IM (10/5): Perfect - Great place. Every aspect of it. Courtesy of staff we encountered at check-in, in the bar, in the restaurant and at the dock, was top notch. Room was clean, room was quiet. Just a special place. No doubt we will return. b
- Narmina (10/5): - Serene and beautiful place. Perfect getaway from busy hectic life
- Dominic (8/5): - This place was nice and quiet just what we needed. It is a bit away from everything so if you wanted to do anything it was a little bit of a drive. The only thing we wish they had at the property was a way to swim in the lake. Unfortunately if you want to swim you have to drive 20 minutes for the public beach which is not as relaxing as the lodge area.
- james (8/5): - Nice staff, quiet relaxing three days for me and my wife. Would definitely go back.
- Michael (10/5): - Absolutely Amazing Stay.
- Richard (6/5): - The lodge was pretty. The staff was friendly. The view was beautiful. Prices were high. The disappointing part of our stay was the continental breakfast. The breakfast consisted of cereals, breads/muffins/bagels, juice and coffee. Hotels that cost half the price have hot food of some sort (eggs, biscuits/gravy, etc.). Also could not find a disposable coffee cup or bowl so we could take our drinks and get on the road.
- DAVID AND TERESA (10/5): - This is an amazing place to stay. Quiet and peaceful; relaxing after an all day trip on the road. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend! The staff were the friendliest people we met all day! They were the best.
- Stine (10/5): Best place in Lake Lure - This place is amazing. WOW! the location, the view and staff. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was so clean and the breakfast was great! We can not wait to come back soon.
- Anthony (10/5): - An absolutely beautiful accommodations. Quiet. Incredibly friendly staff. The perfect getaway in the mountains. Can't wait to go back!
- Randy (10/5): - Great room, awesome views, good price, we will definitely be back.
- Philip (10/5): - Amanda and Alex and the chef were great, view was superb, an “ off the charts “ two fall days there.
- James W. King (10/5): - The Lodge was a beautiful and comfortable property. It had a wonderful and scenic location on the lake. The staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome.
- Wayne (10/5): Beautiful and restful! - The room and view were both fabulous. Being old, the stairs down from our room were a bit much. Certainly not fans of the TV system. Needed closed captioning but there was none. Way too complicated to try to find shows we normally watch. But, still love the place.
- Travis (10/5): - Staff was great, views are amazing.
- tammam (10/5): wonderful - We loved our stay, perfect get away,
Friendly staff
- Richard (10/5): - Beautiful view.
Quiet and friendly.
Wonderful restaurant.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Sweet retreat - Gorgeous, fully restored historic lodge. Stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Small, quiet, and comfortable, with a friendly, efficient, and unobtrusive staff.
Glad to hear about plans to provide lake access, replacing the old boathouse that could not be salvaged in the 2022 renovation.
- Linda (10/5): - The whole experience was great. I am hoping to go back for another visit.
- John (10/5): - 0!
- Shannon (10/5): - My daughter and I were 2 of the first guests at this property on their opening weekend. We loved everything about it! Beautiful rooms and surrounding areas and the restaurant was fantastic! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful and I will definitely stay here again! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
- Gregory (10/5): Amazing experience - Absolutely amazing experience all the way around - we were completely blown away with the view, the room, the bar and restaurant, and the incredible attention to detail - plus the owner and the manager (Spence and Amanda) gave us a high level of personal attention - couldn't recommend strongly enough.
- Kristen (10/5): Quaint and Romantic - We stayed in the Chocolate Room six months ago and checked in on Dec. 31st, New Year's Eve. We got there at around 10 at night. Many of the other guests and the staff were asleep. The staff had contacted us earlier to let us know that there'd be an envelope on the front counter with our room information and that if we needed anything, we could call. We didn't mind this at all, in fact, we preferred it because it felt more intimate for our couple's getaway. When you walk in, it feels like you're in a really nice luxury vacation rental with a cabin feel. The lounge areas are beautiful and there were Christmas decorations up that made the whole atmosphere cozy. We found our room, which was decorated in a very cozy way. The bathroom was much bigger than I'd imagined it would be with a HUGE tub and there was champagne waiting for us on the desk in our room and a welcome letter. The travel toiletries were a higher-end,which was a nice touch. The actual location of the B&B was on a lake so that was nice. We're in our early-to-mid 20s and were visiting this part of the country to see the Biltmore. Most other guests were a little older, it was a classy crowd. No young college students. Mostly couples. GREAT breakfast. A sweet employee made my honey eggs benedict. Last thing to consider: when planning a romantic getaway is that this property is VERY romantic but not appropriate for loud guests. Almost the entire property has wood floors. Overall, wonderful stay! I'd visit again!
- Pat & Celia (10/5): Great place to stay at Lake Lure - Great place to stay when visiting Lake Lure near Chimney Rock and Asheville. Right at main part of the lake with wonderful views. Great food at the restaurant!
- Emilee (10/5): A Perfect GetAway - We celebrated our first anniversary here. It was wonderful. The staff was amazing. The property was beautiful. It was simply the most romantic location.
- dee (8/5): Prepaid reservation - I booked and prepaid my for my room in February. When we got to the hotel they told me it was not paid.
So we paid again. I couldn't find the information I needed on my phone as I'm from Japan. I will have to recheck this when I get home. I recommend to other customers DO NOT opt for the prepaid plan stick with pay at the hotel.
- Angie (10/5): COMING BACK - We have such a wonderful time. The food and services were out of this world
- Stephanie (10/5): Amazing stay! - This is probably one of the best places I have stayed at. Extremely friendly staff that made sure you were taken care of. The rooms are so beautiful and relaxing. I felt like I was at a spa with the complimentary bathrobes and updated showers. Beautiful trails around the property that lead down to the lake. I am already looking at scheduling my second stay!
- Jack & Cindy (10/5): New Years Eve get away for my fiancé and I (2014) - Our 3 night stay a the Lodge at Lake Lure was perfect! All the way from the friendly efficient staff to the clean and well appointed rooms. The view was fabulous from our windows and our own private balcony.
The food was delicious. We had dinner there twice with fresh caught trout, home grow bok choy and shiitake mushrooms, and breakfast all three mornings including the pastry chefs homemade pastrys and made to order eggs of your choice. I ordered poached eggs one morning and Eggs Benedict the next and both were prepared to prfection! We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh farm to table concept that has been implicated since our last visit a few years ago.
- heather (10/5): Nice B&B in Lake Lure - Had a wonderful stay. We stay in the Fortune Cookie room. It was gorgeous! The bed was like laying on a pile of clouds! The room smelled very fresh, like fabric softener. It was super clean. We did not eat at the resort, but heard very good things from other guests. Staff was very friendly. We did not need anything, but I felt they would have eagerly helped if we had. I will definitely return!
- Aaron (10/5): Great Experience - The lodge was beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly and the scenery was great. A little bit of a drive if the purpose of your trip is to visit Asheville, but, because seclusion was important to me, driving was not a problem.
- ronald (10/5): Lake Lure. An annual trip at least! - WOW! Great time. Very nice time. Good food and relaxing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Getaway - The Lodge on Lake Lure was a perfect getaway! We stayed in the Plantation Rose suite and the room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and it overlooked Lake Lure with mountains in the background. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and we also got a chance to eat Thanksgiving dinner at the Tree Tops dining room/restaurant at the Lodge, and the dinner was fabulous. The Lodge on Lake Lure is a wonderful, relaxing, cozy environment and we plan to return for our anniversary!
- Larry (8/5): Beautiful Location in the Woods - Very nice place, beautiful location, super staff, but do not take the room on the non-lakeside to save a few bucks. The too-bright lights on the front porch are not kept out by the room's blinds. I would stay here again in an instant, but in a different room.
- bruce (10/5): Great location, great food and great staff - Had a wonderful stay. Really great views of lake. Breakfast and dinner was very nice and delicious
- Linda (10/5): Mountain Retreat - We had a great room with a private balcony overlooking the lake. The room had a huge bathroom with a footed tub as well as a very modern shower. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and it is cooked to order, with homemade pastries, biscuits, and such. We ate dinner at the Lodge two nights as well, and all entrees were excellent. We were there in early November, and the leaves were beautiful. Staff at the Lodge is friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. We really enjoyed our stay and will visit again I am sure.
- Rachel (10/5): Great B&B with beautiful views - Beautiful setting .....and great breakfast
- Shamika (10/5): - The hotel is beautiful and the setting is gorgeous.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The one and only downside was that the restaurant was not open for dinner on the night of our stay. It would have been nice so that we did not have to drive into Lake Lure/Chimney Rock.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful!
- John (10/5): - One of the best places I've ever stayed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): heaven on a lake - We loved just about everything about this Lodge. It's a beautiful setting, right on the lake, where you can lounge, swim, or even take out their canoes. We stayed in the Plantation Rose room, which was a lovely room with a deck overlooking the lake, and a bathroom that was almost as big as our New York city apartment! Breakfast was great and included freshly-baked muffins and biscuits. The Lodge also has a wine and appetizer our in the late afternoon. Such nice amenities! If we're ever in the area again, we'll go back for sure.
- Greg (10/5): Top notch - Wonderful experience. The restaurant was very high quality. The staff was warm and friendly. Room was beautiful with an awesome view of Lake Lure. Highly recommend.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Very nice lodge. The staff was very friendly and professional. The area is very beautiful and peaceful.
- Doug Kerns (10/5): Lake Lure Inn summary - great view of lake lure and very quiet and scenic; near most things to see and great location
- Keisha (8/5): Wonderful Stay - I stayed at the Lodge for the weekend with my daughter. We had a wonderful time. The staff was great and the food was excellent. The room was a little stuffy when we first arrived and we had to air it out for a while.
- Dave (8/5): Very Nice B&B Overall But ... - Wife and I had a very good stay here but there were spots in the lobby/sitting area that needed a good dusting. In addition, the appetizers put out during social hour should have place cards highlighting what they are, especially if they contain meat. Overall very good but just some minor attention to a few details.
- Verified traveler (4/5): overated - Very disappointing. No coffee until 8:00, shower head broken, mold in the ice bucket with old water, dust on the tables, no fresh towels. A lot of noise while you are trying to sleep. As much as this cost it's way overrated. Very disappointed.
