• Cornwell (9/5): Mooie suite, uitstekend ontbijt, vriendelijke mensen. Minder geschikt voor gehandicapten. - De ruimte die we hadden in suite Q5, en bovendien alle beschikbare ruimte efficiënt gebruikt. Mijn vrouw loopt met een rollator. De suite bleek op de 2de verdieping te zijn, wat toch wel een serieuze inspanning gevergd heeft.

• Godelief (8/5): - Ontbijt was super (maar was wel bij te betalen). De kamer lag aan de straatkant en er was veel straatlawaai.
• Guest (8/5): perfect voor wat ik wou doen. - De rust die ik er vond, vlakbij Gent, makkelijk te bereiken, ook de gemeente was best aangenaam en alles was aanwezig om er een weekje te verblijven. De kamer was voldoende ruim, ingericht als miniflat. in principe niks.

• BARTHELEMI (5/5): Bof & re-bof - Petit déjeuner très correct, produits frais et variés, en conformité avec le prix demandé (15,00€) L'emplacement ... mais en théorie seulement, dans notre cas - le manque total d'intimité entre chambre et sdb (surtout sanitaire) ... il n'y a pas de porte, ni de séparation entre la chambre et le WC (bruits, odeurs, intimité) c'est horrible même après 20 ans de mariage comme demandé par le propriétaire ... vous êtes en couple ? - l'accès à l'étahe, escalier en colimaçon très étroit et peu sécurisant. - le parking disponible était entièrement occupé par une fête foraine => garé à plus de 300 m dans un lieu peu sécurisant. - l'insonorisation entre chambre et couloir proche de zéro - la fenêtre oscillo-battante de la chambre à une ouverture de 7cm² et si on veut l'ouvrir elle empiète sur le lit et on ne sait plus passer, ni baisser le store
• BARTHELEMI (4/5): Bof et encore Bof - le petit déjeuner, pas donné mais de bonne qualité (15€) pas de porte entre WC et chambre, ce implique un manque total d’intimité lors des moments naturels délicats. Ce qui implique de sortir de la chambre (perso je suis descendu au rez de chaussée pour utiliser les toilettes du restaurant (dans le noir car éclairage coupé jusqu’au moment des petits déjeuners) Insonorisation faible entre couloir et chambre (on entend bien les voisins arriver) Les escaliers d’accès à l’étage 1 sont très raides en colimaçon et très étroits. Le parking n’était pas disponible (kermesse) et je me suis parqué à plus de 350m dans endroit isolé et peu sécurisé.

• David (9/5): Perfect overnighter - Rooms above a busy restaurant on a busy road but it wasn't noisy nor was my sleep disturbed. A fan had been provided for the very warm day and night, much appreciated. Decorated in white the room remained cool and comfortable. Added breakfast as an option in the morning g, just right to make the 2 hour journey to the Euroshuttle in Calais. A perfect stopover.

• Francesca (10/5): Exceptional - The place is very beautiful. In a small town very close to Ghent. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the communication with them was nice and smooth. The room was an apartment and was stunning, they gave me also a room upgrade which I appreciated very much. Very clean, bright, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also great and they were very attentive in preparing it. I couldn't try the restaurant since I had a busy work schedule, but it looked amazing too . Wonderful stay

The mattresses were very old, and the piece to keep the mattresses together didn't really do much either. The water pressure in the shower could've been better.

• Francesco (8/5): A cozy, nice place where we would love to return. - Location was easy to reach by car. Breakfast was good, and the owner was very kind. The only thing which could be improved is that in our room there was not a wardrobe, but for the rest it was very comfortable.

The hotel was not dirty, but we did see some old stains on the bedsheets as well as dust on the furniture in the room. The mattresses kept slipping off from the beds. My friend even fell in the middle of the night... The texture of the mattresses was also slightly uncomfortable

• Marcus (2/5): Waste of time - Arrived to find the hotel and restaurant closed with all lights off. I called the hotel to be told that Expedia had cancelled but I had a confirmation email that morning. I suspect we had the only room booked so the owner didn’t want to open.
• SB (10/5): Good Wi-Fi, fantastic Food, Passionate Owners - I book the Hotel at the last minute as need a hotel to stay in before catching the Eurotunnel the next morning. 1.5 hours to the tunnel and close to the main road. The passionate staff delivered a perfect dinner and breakfast which clearly had the owners heart and soul in. Definitely the type of hotel I enjoy.
