- paulette (10/5): - Staff was excellent (Mr. Brian) thx.
- Jason (10/5): - The lodge is in a great location just outside the park. It is tucked away in the woods so you don't get any street noise. The room has everything you need. The breakfast was an excellent bonus. They even accommodated dietary issues.
- Tammy (10/5): - I loved this place! It had a very homey atmosphere and all the little details didn’t go unnoticed.
- Holly (8/5): - The hotel is in the woods and is very quiet. The decor is charming, the beds very comfortable, and the towels thick and soft. Sadly, I had a hiking accident and spent most of my time in the ER so did not get to enjoy the hotel as much as I would have liked. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
- Richard (6/5): Nice accommodation, great location - Room was nice and clean. Wi-fi worked well, location was great with easy access to shops and Glacier national Park.
Breakfast was very good and coffee was available 24/7.
My complaint is that I was sat out on my room patio and staff came around the back and started messing with using ladders and hanging cables. The did not warn me and dust a debris starting falling from the roof onto me. I had to move. The staff still said nothing.
- Dorothy (10/5): - Cozy, quaint, just off the beaten path yet super close so convenient, great breakfast w/lots of options. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.
- Verne (10/5): - Beautiful property, great location, very friendly & accommodating staff
- Julie (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and quiet.
- Julie (10/5): - Beautiful and nice and quiet.
- Michael (10/5): - Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
- christine (10/5): - The lodge is cute/adorable located in a wooded area. It was very quiet. The rooms were spacious. Breakfast was good with enough options. The location was close to the west entrance to Glacier NP.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friends trip - Room and restaurant area spotless. Staff accommodation good for late checkin. Prompt replies to texts. Included breakfast was fresh and very tasty with good selection. Much more than a continental breakfast. Bathroom, while spotless, was a tub shower which i found inconvenient rather than a walkin shower. But, had a good stay
- Dagmar (10/5): - Great breakfast. Great location.
- Renoula (10/5): - Loved every moment of our stay at your property! Beautiful all around!
- Ryan (10/5): Awesome stay - Amazing place. Quiet. Friendly. Great service. Complimentary bear spray for hikes. Would definitely stay here again
- Ann (10/5): Great place to stay for a Glacier NP experience. - Great rooms with everything you need. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect.
- Karen (10/5): Lovely lodging close to the park - Lovely lodging and so close to the park entrance! Great restaurant nearby, and also convenient to gas station and basic shopping. The building is lovely and so relaxing to sit outside. Our room was quiet and comfortable. WiFi wasn’t great but everything else was. Nice breakfast as well.
- ron (10/5): - Everything has been a treat. A beautiful location and building away from the madding crowd. It is a true escape from the madness that is GNP in July. Perfect😍
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Close to the entrance of the Park.
- Linda (10/5): - Our stay at the Lodge was wonderful! The room was large, comfortable and the staff provided room extras like a mini refrigerator and coffee machine. It was so close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park, making it easy to access the park. I highly recommend the lodge..you won’t be disappointed!
- Shelley (10/5): Great location, close to West Entrance. - Great place! Modest, yes, but an excellent place to stay if you're visiting Glacier National Park because (1) the rooms are clean and well maintained, bed we’re very comfortable!! (2) wonderfully quiet, (3) little private sitting areas outside the bottom floor rooms are perfect for morning coffee, evening wine, etc., (4) close to west entrance of park, (5) reading room on upper floor has games and real books (Vonnegut? Are you kidding me?), (6) the restaurant at the bottom of the hill (next to the gas station, believe it or not) is really good and only a short walk. Loved it!
- Leah (10/5): - Comfortable bed, great breakfast (including hot burritos), organic milk, eco-concious. Parking easy. Nice bathtub. Close to West Glacier village.
- Samantha (10/5): Relaxing and Friendly - Great location! The staff was super awesome and helpful finding activities to do. We really enjoyed just resting there each evening on the front porch.
- Joseph (10/5): - Amazing place to stay and location at the entrance to West Glacier. Very comfortable beds with plenty of outdoor seating and indoor areas too. Wonderful breakfast with a huge assortment. Very easy check in.
- Caitlin (10/5): - We absolutely loved this lodge. It's super close to the entrance of West Glacier Park, but set back far enough from the highway that's it's completely quiet and peaceful. The room had everything we needed, a mini fridge, toiletries, coffee maker, etc. and the lobby has a really good breakfast and coffee in the morning. Check in was a breeze and Brian was great. Our room had a lovely little patio and there's chairs to sit outside and drink your coffee while listening to the birds. Highly recommend this for a stay in Glacier!
- eric (10/5): - Quite peaceful setting Perfect location
Highly recommend for a peaceful setting
- Gary (10/5): - Man this place is awesome. Perfect location right outide one of the main West Glacier National Park entrances. The manager is a guide himself and knows everything you need to know. Everything he recommended was spot on perfect. I highly rdcecommend. Btw, I travel A LOT!
- Melissa (10/5): - Great location though a little tough to find the first time. Gravel parking lot plenty of room. Quiet area secluded from major road. Very close to West Glacier Village. Great staff always helpful with info and responsive to requests. Breakfast each day was on time and lots of options. Would definitely stay again!
- Kacheena (10/5): - Love how secluded it is in the pines. Quiet, can't hear the people next door or outside. The room was clean and comfy. Even though it's secluded and quiet it's close to the main road and to West entrance to Glacier national park. We didn't have much interaction with Brian, but he was very nice and personable. This is a great place to stay! We stayed at the end of May which I'm assuming is still the 'off season' so the price was very reasonable. We highly recommend this lodge!
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Staff was fabulous, room was super clean and cabins were quaint
- Barbara (10/5): - This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Glacier National Park. It is very close to the West Glacier park entrance, yet it is nestled up in the woods in a quiet, beautiful location. The property is very clean and the beds are quite comfortable. Breakfast has a wide assortment every morning and great coffee. There is an electric fireplace in the room to be used for heat in cooler weather. It was so welcoming in mid-May. I would definitely stay here again.
- Chun Yan (10/5): - Clean, nice management. Just need to call them before you check in . Because no signal on the ares and sometime manager not in property to check in
- Henry (8/5): - Helpful staff. Ok breakfast.
- Melinda (10/5): - Second time staying at this lovely lodge! Friendly staff, clean, quiet rooms and a delicious breakfast, all conviently located next to the West Glacier entrance. We will be back again next year!!
- Claudia (10/5): - what an amazing gem of a hotel. everything was perfect. very quiet, peaceful and clean. it far exceeded our expectations. brian was such a great host overall. very friendly and knowledgeable. he even provided bear spray and there was continental breakfast. highly recommend as we will definitely be back!
- Rachel (8/5): - Very close to the entrance to Glacier National Park. It also had a good breakfast to choose from.
- vincent (10/5): - The location is very close to the West entrance. Room was clean comfortable. Danny the manager was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast helped start the day too.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Loved our stay here! Excellent maintenance and friendliness from staff.
- Jeff (10/5): - Great, clean comfortable room and great customer service.
- Khwaja (8/5): - The property is very close to Glacier National Park entrance and the most expensive in that area. I stayed in 4 different properties around that area, and this was the most expensive. They have coffee and microwave available all day in the lobby. The room is basic for the price compared to other properties but convenient. Hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. You can borrow a bear spry for free. Hotel is located in a cell phone dead zone, so we had to use a very slow Wi-Fi that was barely usable during our stay or drive downhill to make phone calls.
- John (10/5): - Wonderful stay in rustic wooded area close to Glacier NP. Room was nicely appointed with wood furniture. Easy access to the national park.
- Shawn (10/5): - This is an excellent base for exploring Glacier National Park, especially its west side. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with outside seating areas in front and in back. Note that this is basically a wilderness lodge. The access road and the parking lot are unpaved. The cell phone signal is spotty at best, as is the complimentary WiFi signal. But this was part of the charm of the place. It’s supposed to be like this. I’ll gladly trade the constant cellular tether to the outside world for the morning visit by an inquisitive squirrel and the incredible view of the night sky from the parking lot. If you can’t make the same trade, this might not be the place for you.
The office is the social hub of the lodge. It offers games and cozy seating upstairs and a relaxing space for breakfast downstairs. The food is basic but good - a hot choice like a breakfast burrito or sandwich, three types of cereal, fresh fruit, bagels and bread (even gluten free), yogurt, juice,’milk, and even huckleberry jam. They also loan out bear spray if you’re heading into the wilderness on a hike.
I have no hesitation in recommending this lodge to family and friends. It’s simple, unassuming, quiet, safe, charming, and exactly what you’d expect in a wilderness lodge.
- Jane (10/5): - Lovely quiet location right outside west entrance of Glacier National Park.
- Antim (10/5): - This is a wilderness lodge. Not a five star hotel. But what they do is extremely well done. The rooms are clean, the bath room very workable, comfortable, the breakfast--made on site with fresh eggs, bacon, sausage served as a sandwich or burrito with great coffee -- fit Glacier well. Just outside of the park gates and closer to wonderful restaurants make it work very well. Highly recommend!
- Shelly (10/5): - This lodge was lovely! Quiet, set into the woods. Great breakfast options. Rustic feel. Cozy room with plenty of space. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was able to borrow bear spray for the 2 days we were there. Would definitely stay again and would recommend for anyone wanting a small quiet place to stay. Minutes from the park entrance and plenty of dining options.
- Marion (10/5): - Excellent location. Just outside the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park. Gas, Restaurant and Shop also nearby.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really fine place with friendly staff and super breakfast
- Daniel (6/5): - Could hear every step in the room above me. Beginning at 5:30 am.
- John (10/5): - Comfortable and Clean!
- M. (10/5): - Highly Recommend. Can’t wait to return.
- Daniel (10/5): - The property is minutes from the entrance to glacier National Park. The staff was friendly and breakfast was easy and pretty good. Trail mix and other snacks were available to take on hikes. Rooms were very nice and spacious
- Linda (10/5): - It had an excellent breakfast, staff was very friendly, area was charming.
- Amy (10/5): - Such an attractive Inn and so peaceful. The room was great and had everything we needed, including a cute fake fireplace that made it extra cozy. They also had made a cute towel bear sitting on the bed. We had delicious breakfast burritos, and there were other options too. We highly recommend the Glacier Guides Inn.
- Patricia (10/5): - Very close to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park. The breakfast items were very good.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Brian was very nice and accommodating. The property was beautiful and quiet.
- Chris (10/5): - Convenient and well kept. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
- Philip (2/5): - Good breakfast, easy access, quiet
- Lori (10/5): - Outstanding property and excellent service
- John (10/5): - Very nice place. Rooms are great.
- Suzan (10/5): - We LOVED this place! It had everything we needed, was extremely comfortable, and was in such a convenient area to the park! The staff both at the lodge and at the bike rental/shuttle were GREAT!
- Becky (10/5): - Loved staying here! Beds were comfy.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Lovely facility with very helpful staff. It was clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend staying here on your Glacier NP trip.
- Laura (10/5): - Very secluded but close to entry of National Park and convenience stores. Clean clean clean. Very relaxing. Great breakfast. I will return here. Thank you
- Wayne (10/5): The perfect place to stay - There is no better location to explore Glacier National Park by car, bike, or hiking. The West entrance to the park is directly across the road.
Everything required to make our stay perfect was provided.
The hot (or cold) breakfast provided was everything you would want.
Brian helpfully provided all the local information requested and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable.
I can not recommend these lodges enough.
- Janet (10/5): - Appropriate style for the area. Next door to Glacier National Park. Fabulous breakfast and lounge areas.
- Christine (10/5): - Brian the manager was wonderful and very helpful! We would sta again! He was an excellent cook too! Breakfast was top notch!!
- Christine (10/5): - Brian the manager was wonderful and very helpful! We would sta again! He was an excellent cook too! Breakfast was top notch!!
- Diego (10/5): - We spend three night at the lodge and the manager/host, Brian, was outstanding. He provided us with lots of valuable information. The lodge is run by the Glacier Guides Montana Raft company, and we rented bicycles from them. I really recommend their service. The lodge is in an excellent location if you are interested in visiting the west part of the Glacier National Park. Hot breakfast is included and really good. Very convenient parking right in from of the lodge. Not a lot of dinning options around the area, especially during shoulder season.
- JOHN (10/5): - Hospitality manager (Bryan) was Awesome. Room was great. Beds were incredibly comfortable.
Everything was perfect for my wife and I.
- Samyuktha (10/5): - The hotel is nestled away from the main road and has a picturesque view. We were told there was a black bear who had been hanging around but missed seeing him unfortunately. The main staff member, Brian, was exceptionally kind, helpful, and personable. He even made sure to take our request for a bonfire and made it happen the next day. It was easily one of the highlights of the property for us to be able to spend time in the evening talking to Brian and other hotel guests around the fire. They also accommodated a vegan breakfast for us which was delicious and gave us a bear spray for use during our hikes. Would absolutely recommend staying here and wish we could have stayed longer!
- Marybeth (10/5): - Loved the location.
- george (10/5): - Great location and staff
- Paul (8/5): - The property manager Colt was so upbeat, friendly, and focused on making sure we were happy during our stay, I assumed he was part of the family that owned the place. Turns out he is just a really good employee! Even though the property was older, cell phone coverage was non-existent, and the wi-fi was overwhelmed, Colt treated us well and we enjoyed our stay. We plan to come back next year.
- Frances (10/5): - This hotel was right outside the west entrance to Glacier and was located off the road in a wooded private area. It was updated and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Great location.. manager was gun to chat with.. very clean and quiet.
- kay (10/5): 2023 stay in West Glacier - Our stay was great - the location was good - the property was great.
- Holly (10/5): - Colt was wonderful!
- Timothy (8/5): - Excellent beds!
- Doris (10/5): - We really enjoyed our 2 nightstay. highly recommend.nice reading room and full breakfast
- Heather (8/5): - Nice location up and off the main road, but right by the west entrance. Super clean, nicely decorated, and the setting is very peaceful. Looks new and limited rooms so no crowds. No noise, birds chirping were beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. There is internet but no cell service which made it a bit difficult with a handicapped kid as home that I needed to call often. Otherwise, great place!
- Emilie (10/5): - We loved the lodge. Very rustic, location was awesome as it was a 5 minute drive by car to the Glacier Park West Entrance, walking distance located from a few shops and restaurants at West Glacier town. For more restaurants you could head into Colombia Falls or restaurants and shopping Whitefish. Colt, the lodge manager was fantastic. He gave us ideas and recommendations for activities, where to eat, and shop. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend the lodge
- Eileen (10/5): - A lovely room in the park area. It hit on all fronts. Enjoy if you stay!
- Maribel (10/5): - One of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. It’s B&B-esque, right by the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Beautiful, rustic back porch. Simple but we loved it. I must mention TIFFANY, the host, probable owner, breakfast cooker, chief bottle washer and tourist adviser. Tiffany gave us some fantastic tips for our visit to Glacier National Park. Thanks, Tiffany. We’ve already recommended this wonderful place to friends.
- Stephen (8/5): - Great location immediately adjacent to west entrance of Glacer National Park. Immaculately clean, friendly service and excellent continental breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome stay in West Glacier - Must stay when visiting Glacier. Bear spray was free to borrow from the office for day hikes in the park. Property was very clean and safe. Complimentary breakfast was provided. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.
- Philippe (10/5): - Very quiet
- Walter (10/5): - Wonderful lodge in a private setting. Tiffany is a gracious host and made our stay very enjoyable. The location just outside the Glacier Park West Glacier entrance was another plus.
- James (10/5): - Comfortable room, quiet area, good breakfast options provided, just outside of the west entrance to Glacier National Park.
- Wiley R Barnes (10/5): - We had an excellent stay. Smaller motel that is Secluded and away from the crowds. Breakfast by Brando is amazing.
- Tracy (10/5): - Off the main road (hwy) so nice and quiet. The grounds are well cared for and our room was tidy. Breakfast was included and there were many choices of quality nutritious food. Very eco friendly.
- Jon (10/5): - Convenient to Glacier National Park. Very clean and accommodating. Great breakfast provided to start the day.
- Judy (10/5): - What is unique about this property is it is nestled in the woods atop a hill. Yet at the same time it is conveniently located close to fine dining and the West Glacier Entrance. The staff is top notch and the daily breakfast is delicious.
- Michael (10/5): - Beautiful, extremely close to the west entrance of glacier. Very accommodating.
