• Vegard (2/5): Had to wash our own bed linens upon checkout! - The receptionist was very kind and serviceminded, but when we were checking out of the room the bed linens had some spots of blood on them because my girlfriend had scraped her knee. We then were asked to pay 500 baht for them to clean the linens, or we could wash them ourselves. We thought this was excorbitant for minor spots on the linens that would wash out easy. We opted to clean them ourselves, it took us 5 minutes with cold water and soap. We then had to pay 50 baht to wash the linens in their washing machine, and were not allowed to leave until the machine was done. After, we had to pay 40 baht to dry the linens in their dryer. We are coming back to BKK in a couple of weeks and were thinking to stay here again for that stay, but with this experience we will choose some other accommadation. Never have I had to pay to wash dirty bedding. This is something that always is included in the hotel service. We stayed in a private double room with private bathroom.

• John (10/5): Kind, Comfortable, Convenient - The best part of any stay is the people. This budget hostel with nice private rooms was exactly what we wanted. Most important, the staff were courteous and efficient. The hostel is down a side street from Sukhumvit 4, away from the noise of the night life, but only a short walk away. Nearby restaurants offer every kind of food you might want. We stayed here for over two weeks, and would do it again without hesitation. For the budget-minded, this is a place to consider!

• Enroot (8/5): Great location near Sukhumvit and Terminal 21 mall - In a great location near Nana BTS station and many bars and clubs as well as Terminal 21 mall and Soi Cowboy. Nice lobby to hang out in and meet other travelers. Service is good too.

• Peter (6/5): Billigt hotell i Bangkok centrum. - Hotellet har inte den standarden som många förväntar sig, men det ska man sätta i förhållande till läge och pris. Området är inte barnvänligt, därför avråds barnfamiljer. Men att bo bara 50 meter från Svenska ambassaden till ett pris som kan räknas som noll i våran valuta har hjälpt mig fyra gånger och det kommer att hjälpa mig minst fyra gånger till.

Talk too much bla bla bla when asking for assistance, for instance; upgrading the room type, inquiring for early check in as I have old patient with me needs to taking rest at 1 pm. By the way, room is ok, nearby eating places.

• Magdaleen (4/5): Over charged - I got to the hostel pretty late because my flight was delayed. The woman at reception asked me if I had a reservation and I told her yes and handed over my printed out copy of the booking. She seemed to have trouble finding my reservation but proceeded to tell me it will be 200 baht for the booking. I gave her the 200 baht then she gave me the key to the room and told me I need to pay 200 baht deposit for the key and I will get it back when I check out. I gave her the 200 baht. At this point it was 02:30 am and I just wanted a few hours sleep. At 07:00 she wakes me up and tells me I need to pay 220 baht for the bed because I didn't pay last night. I told her I did. She insisted I didn't. This went on for a while until finally I told her I'll pay again even though I've already given her 400 baht. Needless to say I did not get my deposit for the key back. So I spent about 420 baht on a reservation that was supposed to be 220 baht.

The room was clesn, the bed good and all other facilities were ok. I normally never stay in hostels but woul recomend this place for backpackers and people with very tight budget. Friendly staff, not very good breakfast but...what can you expect for so little money?

• jerome (2/5): Crowded place is not secured - When we arrive in the accomdation the Thai staff is not friendly and they don't know how to speak English, they are not approachable, the hotel policies and rules are terrible, imagine the key card for the room need to have a money deposit while you are check in, no available bath towel, soap and potable drinking water, and also their is a time limit for the room air conditioning, no available refrigerator for the left over foods, the Internet connection is too slow and most of all the accomdation guest reception is dark and no proper ventilation in short the the area is too hot , I can't imagine how the receptionist survives in that area, in my own opinion the accomdation should provide a proper equipments for the convenience for their guests.

But I'll be back! - Stayed for one night, room was perfect, good overall cleanliness, stayed in a room with four beds, there were 2 draws below the lower bunk big enough to get a large rucksack 70/80 litres, a very good idea as many places don't have such security consciousness. Coming out on to Sukhumvit Soi 2 is a bit of an eye opener.... There's numerous bars and girly bars, even go-go bars a few streets away! So if that's your thing Sukhumvits the area for you and CheQinn is the perfect location.

• m0e (6/5): Good location being easily accessible by MRT - It was my first night in Bangkok and this Hostel was in the right location to give me a feel for the place! The staff are friendly enough, and the Hostel is to a high standard as far as these things go (in my humble opinion). However, little did I know that the seedier aspects of Bangkok are being forced out of old Bangkok into areas like this! A rude awakening / introduction to Bangkok...

• Leo lion (4/5): Money hungry - I book the room for two nights, each $9 a night plus taxes. The total came out to be $21. When I arrived the receptionist asked how I booked the room. I explain that I used this application, after using my phone so she could look at the confirmation, she proceeded to tell me that the pAyment I made online was for deposit only. I was then told to pay 600baht more for the two nights. After I called hotells.com the story then changed. At the end of all the craziness, I didn't even want to stay. I just let them have the non-refundable $20 and went somewhere else.
• Tino (8/5): Good choice for backpackers - The room is comfortable and the staff is very nice. If you travel with a group of friend that will be a good choice for you to book a big room. The minus point is you have to go some stairs to enter elevator so it will be hard for you if your baggage is too heavy.
