• Debra (2/5): Upgrade needed - Hosts were friendly Very old fashioned, dark and cramped. Mosquitoes in evening as no fly screens on windows. Uncomfortable bed , no extractor fan in bathroom.

• John (10/5): A comfortable and homey stay in Nelson - The Annick House was a very comfortable and homey place for a couple of night stay in Nelson. Nick, the owner, gave me some great advice about traveling to Abel Tasman NP. And the breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. The Annick is an easy walk away from downtown Nelson and its delicious array of restaurants. I will say that the turn-in to the driveway from the main road is little daunting the first time you turn in. Initially there is a steep drop to navigate.

• Hazel (10/5): Annick House B&B is the best! - The best thing about Annick House B&B are Ann and Nick, who are awesome hosts and made us feel so welcome. The location is close to walk into the CBD. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast delivered to our room was very substantial. We were able to do a load of laundry, which was very handy.
• Andrea (10/5): A three night break with friendly and welcoming hosts was just what we needed on our road trip round New Zealand. - Lovely to have a spacious apartment to ourselves with a lovely springtime garden to enjoy. The apartment was beautifully clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home. Nothing at all.

Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat.

We borrowed a BBQ and had a superb setting for breakfast and dinner. Ann and Nick go the extra mile for you. the drive down to the house.

We loved the fresh breakfast and Ann and Nick’s local knowledge. Very comfy bed and the accommodation was very well equipped. We liked the eco friendly approach too, that was great to see. Would definitely recommend this place as an ideal location to visit Abel Tasman. Everything was lovely.

A beautiful and peaceful setting in great walking distance to local eateries and town. A very comfortable stay and wonderful cooked breakfast each morning. Lovely comfy bed and sheets. We were there 4 nights, great for relaxation, you don’t even feel like you are in town, so quiet. A real home away from home. We stayed in the Whitby Suite, would definitely stay again. Nothing was excellent.

We did like our stay very much. The B&B was on walking distance of the restaurants. The wat to the B&B was very steep, but that is nothing you can blame on the house.

Enjoyed their recommendations and the kiwi continental breakfast brought to our unit. Very comfortable bed and plenty of space. Well kitted out for self catering stays too.

He was a bundle of information about the area and things to do. The breakfast were the best and brought to our flat fresh and warm. Nick and Ann are gracious hosts and obviously enjoy sharing their lovely home and gardens with their guests.

We had plenty of room in the "Africa" room to spread out and enjoy. Access to laundry and a drying line were much needed after 2 weeks of travel!

• Linda (10/5): Lovely B&B to stay in Nelson - This is a lovely B&B in Nelson, within easy walking distance of the town for restaurants and shopping. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer. The room was excellent, it was like a home from home, very comfortable. If we ever to get to Nelson again, we would definitely stay at this B&B.
