- Kelly (4/5): - For the price, this was not a good value. We had a triangular-shaped room with a triangular-shaped bathtub that I couldn't really figure out how to fit into. Our room had what looked like an adjoining room door, and we could hear the person in that room sneeze. Although we were told quiet hours start at 10 pm, at 11:30 pm there were children & families playing in the hallway. At about 4:30 am, we were woken up by a dog barking in the hallway. At about 7 am (on a Sunday) it sounded like soneone was vacuuming in the hallway. This hotel may be a shelter. There were cars in the parking lot that clearly could not drive, including one that was not fully in a parking space, had a completely flat tire, and the donut on for another tire. There is absolutely no way we would ever stay here again!

However, there were a lot of homeless people surrounding the property, the backdoor was never locked (the keycard was broken and the door just swung open), it was noisy at night, and it constantly smelled like marijuana. This would deter us from staying at this location again.

- Leonard (2/5): I expect a refund - I stayed at this hotel recently and was extremely disappointed. The property houses a homeless population on vouchers, and during my stay, I encountered strong odors of marijuana, pet urine, and mold. One of my room doors couldn’t lock, and I had to request housekeeping service as the room was not clean upon arrival. The General Manager was informed of these issues, but the overall conditions remained poor. The parking lot is filled with abandoned vehicles, which adds to the unsafe and uninviting environment. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a clean, secure, and comfortable stay.

The batheoom sink took a long time to drain. Towels were actually fringed! No heat control in the room. I was cold all night, not able to sleep. Terrible!!

- Cynthia (6/5): - My room was clean. The hall was terrible. This motel seems to cater to homeless folks. Traveling alone I felt very uncomfortable in this motel. I was okay in my room it was basically quite except for a dog barking in the morning sounded like a stress bark, probably in the room alone which lasted around 20 minutes, by the way I showed dogs for years traveling throughout the Midwest with dogs and staying in motels I always made sure they were quite when I left my room plus they were always crated when I left the room. The young lady at the front desk was very polite when checking me in, she was a new employee. Hope she survives.

- Carolyne (6/5): - The hotel was clean but lots of old stains. That may not make sense, but I can tell any stains in the room were old as the room was clean. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was okay… not walkable to downtown Burlington but a short ride. I would consider staying again, depending on the occasion and pricing, but likely would consider paying a bit more for a place that is more updated and in a better location. That being said, I did not feel unsafe in this area.

- Grayson (2/5): - Disgusting and sketchy. When booking a Motel 6, we expected a clean room with a roof over our heads, nothing fancy. We did not expect this to be operating as a homeless shelter. People need a chance to get their lives on track, fine but this was not disclosed to us. The premises were full of dilapited vehicles, sketchy charachters reeking of tobacco, weed, and crack. We had to change rooms because there was blood on the sheets and light switches as well as some mystery stain in the bathrub. All this despite there being a card from housekeeping saying the room had been cleaned that day (9/24). When we went to change rooms, the person at reception didn't question any of it and just said the room hadn't been cleaned so allowed us to switch rooms.The new room had at least been cleaned. Other issues we noticed were strange sounds throughout the night, a half-dozen shedding dogs that we crossed baths with inside the hotel, and what appeared to be the laundry room that was being used both by staff and guests, giving us the impression that the bedsheets were being washed in the same machines that drug-addicted homeless people were washing who-knows-what in. We booked two nights but only stayed one. On the morning we left, management was going around knocking on doors. I'm not sure if this was to collect payments or check on ODs but either way, we got out of there pretty fast. C'mon, guys. Get it together.

- Gene (8/5): Basic But Clean - The accommodations were exactly what I wanted, clean, but nothing fancy and not expensive. It is easy to get and is right off the interstate The cost was less than most of the hotels in the area but still way more than I would pay just a few years ago. It was not crowded so there was plenty of room for me to park my pickup truck and car trailer in the back. The only guests I really saw were weekly or longer people, but they were all friendly and nice. I wish they provided a breakfast but McDonald’s and Burger King are right there.

The only reason I didn't walk out immediately and ask for a refund is because I was so exhausted from traveling and had to be on the road again in a few hours. Even the clothes I was wearing in the hotel smelled after I left. I don't know how this place has anyone stay there.

- Lynne (10/5): 90% Fantastic Stay - The receptionist was absolutely fantastic. She even remembered the time of my wake-up call on the second day of me calling for a wake-up call. One downfall - they allow pets at this hotel and there was dog "poop" in the hall when my husband went to the store at 5:30 a.m. It was cleaned up by the time i left the hotel at 7:30. Very convenient location and great rooms. Will stay there the next time wa go to Lake Champlain.

- Jeff (4/5): - This was the cheapest hotel we could find and it was till way overpriced for what we got. There were dogs barking in the adjacent rooms and hallways when we were trying to sleep, there was no breakfast (which we knew ahead of time for for $225+ you should get something, and there was just a general sense of dirty and unkept. The checking staff member was quite nice and the maid I spoke with to get additional towels was very friendly and quite helpful. Overall however, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

- james (6/5): Great staff, but… - I was here on business. There’s an uncomfortable “outdoor culture “ around the hotel. I’m wondering if it temporarily houses homeless folks. I didn’t feel in danger as an adult male, but I wouldn’t bring my family here. Ten or twenty people in lawn chairs always in the parking lot smoking, hanging out together, a lot of dogs barking as I pass from car to lobby. I can smell pot. They weren’t menacing, it was just unusual so uncomfortable. Room was clean - minimal amenities. Two tiny bars of soap. Bed was terrible. No support, springs poking my back. Roomy enough. The best part of it though was the staff - friendly and warm - from the custodian to the front desk - they were an unexpected surprise. A super ethnic restaurant nearby, close on off to highway.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Staff were excellent - We stayed for 4 nights. Everything was ok. Rooms were neat. Bathroom were clean. A/C worked fine. Location was excellent. Close to Burlington and have 3 restaurants within walking distance. The staff were excellent, especially Heather, who helped us move to different room when there was a leak in the bathroom. The only thing was some parts of the hallway in front of rooms with dogs, might smell like a wet dog smell. Some dog barking at nights but ok for the most part. I had to point out that the staff were the stars in this facility.

- Linda (4/5): 2 nights for lacrosse - My son and I stayed at this motel for a lacrosse tournament. I will say the staff at the front desk were very nice and polite. They answered every question I had with a smile on their faces and made sure we had everything we need. The place itself could use a deep clean and some updating. The bathroom was very outdated and small. The room was small but it was fine for 2 of us, I couldn't imagine 4 people in 1 room with 2 beds. The people around were really sketchy, and made me a little uncomfortable. But knowing that there were other families staying there as well made me feel more at ease. The pool was closed - which was disappointing because it was so hot, so I can't comment on that. Overall it was fine for the time we needed to be there, I am just not used to seeing so many homeless people / people struggling.

She gave me the rules on a sheet of paper and told me where the cameras were to park my car safely. Handed me the room key where the room was in the process of being cleaned. Housekeeper came in with his shirt open. The entire 5 minutes I was there was 5 minutes too long. I grabbed my things and left. I did not feel like it was safe place for myself and 2 young daughters. I booked a hotel somewhere else. $200 down the drain but there was no way I was going to stay. I would not recommend.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Pass on this one - Do not stay here. The entry way smelled like vomit, there was feces and urine all over the toilet, carpets all stained up and less than savory people living there.
- Jennifer (6/5): - While the hotel room was clean, the ambiance around was absolutely horrific. Dogs running up and down the halls, men shouting. Small children shrieking for hours. It was a quick stay, and anyone can not sleep for a night- but I would never go back.
- Donna-Marie (4/5): - Check in was at 3pm. We arrived and were told our room wouldn’t be ready for another half hour . We had booked a Queen size bed 6 months ago. Had to take a 2 bed room instead because we had an appointment we had to get to. Were not offered any compensation. There were some questionable people, possibly selling illegal substances. Not the most comfortable environment. When we got back at 11 Pm there were about 6 police officers out front because of an altercation between a few people in front of the entrance. Was woken up several times during the night by people talking loadstone in the hall. Air conditioning didn’t work. Came into a 80 degree room. Opened the window which helped but smelled pot most of the night. Will never come back!

- Tim (6/5): - We were surprised to find that this hotel is being used by the State of Vermont to house people who are on financial assistance. There were always people hanging around outside the hotel and that made us feel a little insecure.

- Scott (8/5): - Overall one of the better Motel 6 properties I have seen. The building seems newer and the rooms are more modern. Rooms are interior and have easy parking and elevators. Generally clean and quiet.
- David (8/5): - Super clean room, 2 fast food resteraunts in the same plaza making breakfasts convienent. Located right off of the highway yet didnt notice traffic noise. Only downside was a very small space to hang any clothing made almost useless by the fridge and microwave being there.
- Rodolfo (6/5): - To start off upon arrival I had to deal with 6 police cars and an ambulance hauling away some crazy guy off to the hospital that lost his mind and the cops had to taze/fight. While this was not entirely the hotels fault it is there fault that they house criminals/psychopaths at the hotel possibly for government housing type situations. The front desk worker was not available because he had to give a police report so it took 20 minutes to check in. Also, after about 9pm there is no one at the front desk. There was all kinds of weirdo/transients going in and out of the hotel as well. The room was ehh. Relatively clean but damaged in various places. I Do not recommend staying here for the price and location.
- William (6/5): Clean - While it is a Motel 6 and, apparently, hotels in this area can charge a lot this time of year. The room was clean. But for hundreds of dollars per night I would have thought there wouldn't be missing molding in the hallways, something nicer than carpet tiles in the hallways, a professional interior paint job, and carpeted rooms. But, again, the room was clean.
- Gary (2/5): - There are people doing drugs out in the open in the parking lot all hours of the day and night. People yelling, i saw a drug deal and a fight. The shower was not cleaned. Such a shame, looks like hotel was recently renovated, they are just not able to keep it up.
- Vernon (6/5): - There were a lot of people hanging out in front of the building smoking. There were others who were not smoking, just hanging. Wondered if part of hotel was being used as a homeless shelter
- Matt (2/5): Garbage - One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at… this was a glorified crack house I should have tan when I saw bullet proof glass and warning signs for human trafficking… oh and the 3 drug deals and prostitute I saw in the parking lot. On a positive note the toilet was clean…

- Wendy (6/5): - It serves its niche well but the $200 pricetag was ridiculous fir this tier. I want to say extirtionate during UVM registration....which was nit the purpose of my visit. Next time I find myself in that situation I will just pay more for a higher tier. Know your lane!
