- Kim (1/5): This property was discusting - Absolutely nothing Everything. It was filthy dirty
- Marna (2/5): -
- Anthony (2/5): - Bed was okay and had clean sheets. Bathroom was filthy. Urine was dried and sticky all over the seat and bowl. Not sure why it wasn’t cleaned between guests. Very unpleasant experience.
No one was at front desk when I arrived at 8:00pm. Luckily an employee was working in the laundry area to help. She was pleasant and knew what the process. Hopefully you will use this info to become a better operation.
- Nicole (9/5): It was pleasant the room was clean - The location was good The stairs could use some painting
- Mohamed (7/5): -
- Dye (8/5): - A place to rest Cleaner
- Cole (1/5): Brief - Stood ag lobby window for 45 min no one to be found. Room wasn’t super clean had dog food in the floor
- LisaJ64730 (5/5): Ok, not great - Fridge and microwave table and chairs for eating. Only 1 roll of tp for 3 people for 3 nights! The room had a fridge and microwave, which was nice. Barking dog next door wasn't great. Small room beds weren't great either, but they were cheap and clean.
- Jasmine (1/5): I left because it was so gross - Nothing The fact that it was so disgusting in there nothing was clean at all.
- levingston (8/5): Nice stay quiet thank u - It was nice Everything was good
- Steph (5/5): -
- Farrah (10/5): Nice location room atmosphere - Comfortable room It was all good
- Apurba (2/5): Very unhappy - Location It was very dirty and flies are all over.
- Michael (6/5): Fair value would probably stay there again if needed. - Easy access, good parking at room door. Wifi was weak, had to dispatch a couple spiders in the room.
- Joseph (1/5): Never Motel 6 again - No breakfast It was very rundown with lots of duct tape, rickity stairs and broken pavement
- Kery (7/5): -
- Nicholas (1/5): - Staff didn't bother me Everything else.
- joseph (4/5): Cheap.. good for a night not 2 - It was cheap The place was run down
- Ihor (8/5): -
- Christiane (6/5): Okay for the price if you're only staying one night - The room was decent. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The price was really affordable. There was plenty of parking. It is close to the interstate and local main roads. There are numerous chain and local restaurants nearby, and there are at least two large gas stations within a minute of the motel. While it is conveniently located near the interstate, which was nice, the location is definitely an industrial area so it has the vibe of being a bit sketchy. The staff member who checked me in was not rude, but not pleasant either. He did a poor job of explaining where the room was located and seemed annoyed when I came back to ask for directions a second time. His definition of "at the back" and my definition are not the same. The shower head position is wonky. It makes sense why it is located where it's at (to prevent massive puddles on the floor) but it's still weird. The mini fridge did not work. The stairs and stair railing were rusting. The second floor balcony railing was leaning outward. It didn't wobble, but it was leaning.
- Coates (5/5): -
- John (3/5): - Rooms smelled funny. Walked in and had to kill a giant spider in the room. Upstairs railings and stairs in poor, rusty condition. While not the end of the world, only enough pillows for each person to bring one. No toiletries except for a small bar of soap.
- Dana (8/5): -
- Wilson (7/5): -
- Velta (7/5): -
- Emery (6/5): - Staff was awesome. Building needs complete renovation.
- Kara (6/5): - Staff was friendly and the room was decent. There were a lot of flies and the bathroom was kind of rough.
- Eleanor (3/5): -
- Julius (4/5): - nothing
- Michelle (8/5): Will stay again - Very quiet
- Dave (8/5): - Pet friendly, great desk staff, rooms are basic Motel 6.
- Taylor (8/5): -
- Dorothy (2/5): - Room was dirty, floor not swept, used bar of soap in shower, Walls had yellow streaks, and had flies and spiders. Air conditioner filters was caked with lint.
- Dorothy (4/5): - The first room was dirty and full of flies,2nd room was also dirty, but not as bad as the first one. Top blanket had holes in it.Lady at the desk was very friendly. Bought Lysol and fly spray.
- Charles (1/5): The Very Disappointing Motel 6 - Nothing. We are handicapped, they put us on top of stairs, key card inop, bugs on bed, curtains were open and light on, property was unkept, mosquitoes by the thousands attacked us and they wouldn't give us our money back. We went to another motel for the night. No wonder Tom Bodet quit endorsing motel six.
- Elisa (10/5): - Clean room, quiet hotel
- Linda (2/5): - We were not even able to get into our room and desk clerk was absent when we arrived and also when we came back to report the key didn’t work.
- Amanda (2/5): - Old lady
- Donald (1/5): Would not recommend this motel to anyone - Location Wow what a dump this motel is I got here and found blood on the sheets, stool finger prints on the top of the toilet, infestation of flys and the door would not lock until I got a screw driver from my car and fixed it. I reported these issues to the front desk, and was told I couldn’t cancel my reservation because I booked by a third party you (booking) l had to go to a local wal mart to buy a new pillow and blanket to feel safe enough to sleep here. I can not get a refund from motel six so I am requesting a refund from booking thank you in advance I will try to attach pictures if I can figure out how to do this
- Tammy (1/5): So very angry and will never even think about staying here ever again. - Basically just the location. We reserved a handicapped room due to my boyfriends recent 8 hip surgeries. Booked it 2 weeks in advanced. Picked up door key from front desk late in the evening. Went to room and the door was already opened. Went in and lights wouldn't come on and room had already been used and not cleaned. Went to get desk clerk and he called someone, stayed on the phone for quite awhile and told us he had no other handicap rooms or rooms on the bottom floor. So he had to put us upstairs. Our stay was already paid for and it was late so we had no choice. We originally had a queen size bed and now we had 2 less than full size beds and the stairs were agonizing. I will be requesting a refund.
- Paul (10/5): - The staff was very pleasant, and helpful. The room was clean.
- Karin (6/5): Okay, but wouldn’t stay again. Loved the front desk ladies though. They were great. - Lots of area for dog to go. Stairs looked like they could fall at any time. The toilet was really low. Really hard to get up. Only 2 flat pillows. Gross beetle bug we had to kill during the night. Kleenex wadded up and stuck to the ceiling. Also faded poop stains on the sheets.
- Belinda (1/5): - The receptionist is kind and very helpful The mold, the larvae from flies, booking.com did not bother to provide compensation or credit regardless that we have medical records indicating upper respiratory 5rrlated to this hotel.
- andrew (2/5): - Bugs, leaks, stains, smells. Entire property needs major rehab.
- Raymundo (4/5): Not a very good stay at all i didn’t sleep much, because of the critters - The price to stay here was great. They have spiders and bugs which was horrible. I couldn’t sleep well.
- Bryan (1/5): Worst stay ever - I didn't like anything about my stay. The Motel 6 was the dirtiest motel I've ever stayed at. There were roaches, flies and moths in the room. The bathroom floor was very dirty. The curtains were ripped. Do not stay at this motel. I didn't like anything about my stay. The Motel 6 was the dirtiest motel I've ever stayed at. - Raymundo (8/5): - Cleaniness Nothing
- Jana (1/5): Rude staff - I liked everything. The staff was horrible. The cleaning person accused me of being rude as in a fighting type only because I said through the door that I did not need maid service at that time. I had just gotten out of the shower and was naked.
I would never want to make anyone feel bad. And they treated me horribly.
- Veldon (6/5): Restful - Clean room Very old
- Carol (7/5): - Safe, clean, great price Needs a more comfortable bed & bedding updated.
- Sherry (4/5): - Called the number listed for this property on the web site 13 times with no answer, trying to confirm there was an outdoor pool as the amenities list and photos showed. My making the 180-mile trip was dependent on this. Decided to trust the web info and book. Upon arrival found pool unavailable. As to unanswered phone calls, was told there is no way to contact the hotel by phone. Online reservations only.
- DeziRee (6/5): - The location was good! There was hair around the tub and sink in the bathroom which was very unsettling.
- Lois (1/5): - The room. I stayed for work. I checked in. And stay in the room for 30 mims and went to work. at 1 am I got back to my room. When I got there, there was an extra remote in the room. The actual remote that was In the room at 3:30 pm was on the ground outside my door.
I went down to find out what went on. The guy said the staff entered my room to do something to the this.
No one called. No one asked to enter my room. I was not told anything. I feel violated.
After speaking with a different person at the front desk at 10:50 am. He said they entered all of the rooms.
So I called the police and made a report.
Everything they did was illegal.
- Robert (4/5): - Defintely not worth the expense.
- Carolyn (2/5): Won’t stay here again. - It was on our route. Very worn. Not clean. Our bathroom had electrical tape holding down the wall covering.
- Mandy (4/5): - Motel needs a lot of updating and repairs. Looks like it s out of business
- Gretchen (9/5): Superb -
- Robin (10/5): - Clean hotel, friendly staff
- Sonya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): The rim was great -
- Russel (5/5): The room was very clean and priced reasonably. - Location was fine. I did not eat breakfast. The only thing that caused me to score lower than above average was there were many flies in the room that were very annoying.
- Erin (6/5): - The staff was friendly, and quickly addressed my concerns when the door to my room would not stay shut/locked. The outdoor pool was out of service. My new room smelled like an ashtray. But it was very affordable and i would stay again, despite the beds being slightly uncomfortable and the dead beetles everywhere.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Lousy, mis-advertised - Pool closed. No WiFi.
- Thomas (6/5): - It did bother me that both the pool and the ice machine were out of service, in June.
- Greg (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tresa (2/5): - I requested a gound floor. When i checked in at 10pm the first night she gabe me my room key and i wqs on thr 2nd floor. (There were 3 cars in thr parking lot) I asked if they didn't have a ground floor avaliable. I was told they like to put people who are staying for 7 days on the top floor. WTH
When i got to my room I had trouble getting the door open then i could get the deadbolt to disingage so i could shut my door. I had to call down to the front desk and was told i had to jingle thr handle to get the dead bolr to retract. That did work, however when i tried to leave the next morning I couldn't get the door to open, it was stuck, again. Tbis went on for 2 days and finally the door took a crap and wouldn't open at all with anyones key, not even the maid's key. They changed batteries and forced the door open but the keys still wouldn't work so them moved me to a 1st floor. After brings everything down stairs to the new room, that door to the new room wouldn't work, it was so stuck I couldn't shove open thr door even using my weight and shoulder into the door. They moved me to a room on the back side. I finally told them if they are having trouble putting me into a double bed room, just give me a single bed room and they did. That room hasn't been stayed in in for a while. There were flies everywhere, alive and dead, the bathroom door had a notch out if it so it could close but you had to lift the toilet seat up to close it, it didn't have a lid. Then bugs
- Mark (6/5): - Don’t stay here
- Nicole (8/5): Good for an overnight stay - Nice place. Near the highway but it’s quiet inside. Can’t hear the traffic.
IHOP right next door and other restaurants nearby Not so clean
- Debora (2/5): - Pool has not been in service for 2 years, but advertised with a pool. . Ice machine broken. Property run down.
- Casey (6/5): - Fairly clean at first glance. Floors are wood and slippery. Walls were dirty. Towels had holes in them. The new roll of toilet paper was stained and had hair on it. Half of the staff doesn’t speak English. Some are friendly some are not. We kept having to get new key cards. Multiple times a day. Lots of bugs around the property. Flies everywhere. Spiders and other bugs. No ice. Hardly anything in the one vending machine. Pool hasn’t worked in years. But it’s full of water and smells absolutely horrible. It does have one small washer and two small dryers. You can follow the time and pay using your phone which is so nice. The one dryer you couldn’t change the heat setting on it and I told the employee but they didn’t care and didn’t even care to even put a note on it. That little room was also filled with bugs. The motel was pretty quiet. Just smells horrible around with the nasty pool water and being right next to the highway you’ve got the nasty ditch water right there also. The lawn isn’t kept mowed either so that makes it difficult if you have animals that need taken out to go potty. The one side is a giant parking lot and the other side is mostly parking with a grassy area so keep that in mind when getting your room. Also the water pressure was absolutely terrible and the rooms with bathtubs the shower head is only like 5 feet tall so be aware. The other rooms the shower area is sooo small. And there is nowhere to put your clothes. No dressers or anything of the sort.
- Joe (2/5): - Skip this one. Room was dark and dingy. One person tried to shower but no water would drain in the tiny shower making it unusable. All other amendments such as ice machine were out of service. Not a good experience
- Hannah (2/5): ROACHES! - Dead roach in bathroom floor, door only opened if you pulled handle up.
- Kelly (2/5): - Dirty rooms.
- Michelle (4/5): - No phone, no shampoo, exposed wires where smoke alarm should be and multiple flies. Clean enough and cheap
- Joan (2/5): - No kleenex, no coffee pot, no clock, 2 bath towels for 2 people, bed hard as a rock, room was full of flys, holes in the bedspreads, curtain misdomg hooks
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional - Very quiet Alittle outdated
- Richard (6/5): In and out - I didnt have breakfast Pretty run down down but room was fine. Met all my needs
No ice machine working, could have used that! They took a fifty dollar deposit that has yet to show back up at bank. I will. be very unhappy if it doesnt
- Nicole (2/5): - This is budget accommodation for a budget experience. Cigarette burns on bedding, rusted door and dodgy stairs, and the overwhelming febreeze stench with no window to open. Would not stay here again.
- Dennis (8/5): Very good - This hotel was what I expected. I was charged $75.29 whereas your confirmation indicated $69.68.
- kashif (10/5): - Amazing experience
- Jerry (7/5): Good -
- Debra (8/5): Very good - Microwave, fridge, plugs, and USB ports. Small, dead bolt hard to operate.Dirty floor
- Frank (8/5): Overall it was ok - Great staff, good location Ice machine broken, mattress too soft
- Shawn (6/5): - Ben was hard as rock pillars or flatters blank.
Smell was atrocious.
AC didn't work heat, didn't work fan, didn't work? Wi-Fi didn't work. Walls head yellow stains on them His showers been clean , but you could still see the black Dirt stains. Constantly had to kill spiders
- michael (10/5): - Check in was great
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roxanne (2/5): Cheap, and filthy - Cheap cheap cheap, really the only thing good. Bathrooms were dirty fridge was not even empty of contents from last person, pillows were flat and only got one pillow per bed. Dated and generally filthy
- Kelli (10/5): - .
- George (8/5): - The door was difficult to open. Lavatory drain was slow draining.
- Ainesey (2/5): - We reserved a double room when arrived we checked the room for cleanliness and found cigarette butts and Qtips in between the mattress and box spring. We got moved to a single bed room as they were down rooms. Was not offered an adjustment in pricing or a refund. Being that this gross us out it took us to spending on cleaning supplies sheets and pillows.
- gberg (2/5): Priceline and Motel 6 both lied. - This motel is not reliable. Booked room with Priceline, confirmed in Jan 2025 and again day before arrival. Upon arrival they denied having my reservation, did not have a room, overbooked, and were not polite at all. The attendant seemed to be high on somthing, foreign and could not understand that my confirmation was answered in Jan. for a handicapped room. Priceline said go find another room---no other room in Salina available according to their rep--flagged red as unavailable due to a large conference of motorcyclists in town. No reimbursement . JUST No ROOM......
- Charla (8/5): - The check in and out staff and housekeeping were very nice and accommodating. Basic no frills hotel, but clean and quiet.
