• Verified traveler (8/5): Ha cambiado desde la última vez que estuvimos ahí - Hacía mucho tiempo que no visitabamos el Hotel, antes de ser parte de Ayenda. Nos parece que el estilo ha cambiado de un hotel tipo boutique a un bed and breakfast. El staff parece una familia que vive ahi y fué raro que estaban como con visitas hablando alto y hasta tarde en la noche. A pesar de ésta situación, pudimos descansar durante la estadía.

• Irely (4/5): - Tuve la oportunidad de hospedarme antes de la pandemia y la experiencia habia sido favorable, sin embago en la ultima visita encontré el hotel muy descuidado, el baño estaba sucio y los dispensadores de jabón y acondicionador de la ducha estaban sin recarga. La atencion deberia mejorar.

Me hospedé por primera vez y no recibí ninguna información, había que sacarle las palabras a la recepcionista, no entendía como funcionaban los servicios. La respuesta en monosílabos.

• Ramon (8/5): Average - The overall experience was ok. The add stated it had a/c but it doesn't. The room was clean, the size average to other boutique hotel, the bed comfortable... The hospitality was also average, some hosts treated us better than others. The hotel is located on a quiet area. I would use it again.

• MARIA JOSE (10/5): Buena estadía y servicio y personal muy atento - Todo fue bueno. El hotel es acogedor y el servicio siempre fue amable y el peronal siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudarnos. Las comidas estuvieron bien y no tuvimos problemas.

El techo en las habitaciones del 3er nivel es diagonal y es bastante incomodo pues se topa uno la cabeza. Es una zona tranquila y segura tan tranquila que no hay nada cerca Jajaja
• Carolina (2/5): - Anuncian servicios y cuartos que los sustituyen por otro. LLegue al Hotel y me diejorn que no tenía lugar y me llevaron a una casona abandonada y me dieron el garage que habían acondicionado como cuarto de hotel.,
• Verified traveler (6/5): - El sector es tranquilo, no es tan cerca del centro, en un taxi son 10-15 minutos. El hotel es correcto, pero las habitaciones son muy estrechas. Además de cada habitación tiene escrito un nombre, no encontré una razón de que fuera un hotel boutique. El desayuno es correcto, sin ser excelente. Tienen un serio problema con la red de internet, no funciona bien, cosa que resulta muy incómoda si se viaja desde otro país, necesitan corregir urgentemente ese problema, porque no funciona bien. Es una opción correcta si el proyecto es llegar a dormir y descansar un una cama cómoda.

• Toni S. (8/5): Great value and accessible! - Though there is some ambient noise from the adjacent rooms and lobby the service was excellent, front desk staff very helpful, and breakfast is included. Very firm beds and good water pressure. Would definitely stay again.

• RolandoTamayo (2/5): - Experience was horrible from the beging at the front desk. Facilities in the main building are ok, but in the second tower are horrible and you pay the same price. Don’t allow you to move to second tower..they use to do this when the main building is full. You buy what you see in the web site which is ok, but if they move you to second building is horrible. In this case, I recommend you do not accept and move to another hotel
• Emma (2/5): - This is a really bad hotel, when you book this hotel they don't tell you that you need to go to another direction, they have two locations, the photos they show is nothing like the room when you arrive, it is unpleasant to book at one hotel thinking that it's like how they show but when you are there is nothing similar to the photos, so I suggest you NOT to book this hotel because they charge a health insurance meanwhile you are in the hotel in case something happens, but it's totally useless, so if you can book something better and pleasant for your stay in Bogota do it, don't choose this disgusting hotel.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t go if you value sleep - You will wake up every morning to the loud sounds of machinery as the hotel is constantly under repair because it is old. Over the course of a week, I was only able to sleep in once. Connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi. Part of the roof collapsed inside the hotel because of the rain. Do you assigned me to a room that had the plumbing missing from my sink. Turning on the water made it go directly to the floor. They gave me the option of staying there or paying extra for a nicer room. Interesting scam.
• D (2/5): DON'T COME HERE! - This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life. I'm not sure if the language barrier had anything to do with it or if it was the fact that I'm an American, but this place was not accommodating at all. 1ST - They lose my reservation - So we have to spend the night at a hostel/dormitory/motel 2ND - After arguing with the front desk, we finally get a room, but it's not available until 4:30pm 3RD - Wifi doesn't work on the 3rd floor where our room was located 4TH - Asked multiple times for an extra blanket 5TH - We're given notice at 4pm the next day (after a long day of touring) that there will be no water for a period of 12 hours starting at 9pm that night 6TH - We go upstairs to find out there's not running water in our room - BEFORE the cut off time 7TH - They give us BUCKETS to bathe in Don't expect much accommodation and cooperation if you come here
• Nick (2/5): Seems to continually overbook themselves - Booked here, but didn't stay because they moved us to a seedy looking hotel a few blocks away. To their credit, they had it all arranged, and walked us over, but I've seen multiple reviews by people where this happened to them as well. That's unacceptable for any decent hotel, although for the price, I guess you can't be surprised?

• Verified traveler (6/5): - I didn't want to give any review about this hotel,since they keep sending me this email okay fine here my review I didn't stay in this hotel for even 2 hours,when I checked in the hotel they gave me a room with a small bed it seems like a twin size not sure and the room was very small I asked the guy if he has a different room he took me to the third floor to a boomdox where the wifi is very weak,when I got there it was an other very small its like the room under a stairs my head can touch the ceiling a small window i was so disappointed and uncomfortable so I called the front desk to see if I can find something else he asked me to wait when manager come in the morning it was around 2 am I could not sleep there so I went back to the front desk thanks god I had magicjack app on my phone I could call expedia via wifi so I can get a different hotel, after over 30 minutes on the phone with expedia they finally find me an other hotel I asked the front desk to call a taxi to take me to the other hotel and I finally got my smile back I would not be able to stay in a shark for a week since it cost effective it might work for some other people it was not for me specially it was going to be my birthday I had to be in a comfortable place to be happy plus I didnt like the architecture I hit my head in the ceiling you have to squiz yourself to get through would I recomment it to other people? I cant say anything about that they might have better room with space its up to people.
• Jose (8/5): Nice, clean and well located !! - Good and small hotel well located for a short period of time. Close from everywhere on central Bogotá by foot or by taxi. Distant 25 minutes from the airport by car. Internet is poor, terrible when all guests are back at night. Overall a good bargain price.
• Marta (8/5): Error in my reservation. - There was an error in my reservation, that's what the Hotel said. My husband and I were transferred to two different Hotels in two days. The staff apologized, but it was very uncomfortable. My recommendation: Check your reservation with antiicipation. Years of booking with CheapTickets.com and never had any problems.

• Omar (8/5): Excellent quality/price - A very nice architecture, the beds in the triple rooms are huge , hard but confortable, no hot water to wash your hands and shave, only in the shower, No safe in the room as described, they bring you a safe if you need but it's not fixed to the wall, a very very nice manager Paula, and the others at the reception, they help you for everything.The breakfast is the same but with fresh fruit juice,the neighberhood is nice but a little far from the center , you can take a bus ,transmillenium or taxi, or better Uber.

• John (10/5): Good value for price - I really enjoyed this hotel, it's in a restored building very close to downtown. The value for price was excellent. Warning though I had an unfortunate experience with the shower: the shower was a glass enclosure with a sliding glass door. The metal door handle on the slider when opened made contact with the rest of the glass enclosure. As I exited the shower I opened the slider without thinking, just slide it open, and the metal handle hit the enclosure and literally exploded. Glass everywhere! And not safety glass either. Since I had no way to prove that I did not open the door with excessive force (I was not angry, in a hurry, etc. at the time), I had to pay $100 for the repair. It's just a faulty design. So I love this hotel, and would stay there again, but would alter the shower door so that didn't happen.
• ian (2/5): nice hotel poor treatment of guests - I will try and keep this positive, the hotel is nice, slightly dated but clean and well located, the staff do not speak fluent English but were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but very nice The issue was the room, I was allocated room 101, this is behind the reception on the ground floor, it did not have the as hotels.com t&C's air conditioning or a room safe, but the room was clean functional and quite modern. The problem came later as I found the room had the kitchen one side, the reception the other and a washer dryer room on the other side. the room had zero sound proofing. from 5am I had the kitchen starting up and the walls were so thin I could hear them talking, the same from 6am the washer dryer started up, there was actually an open vent into the room. I stayed 4 nights but on the 4th night there was a Halloween party that went on until 12 and then was cleaned up overnight, I got no sleep and asked for a room change, they refused point blank and would not refund the fee. Hotels.com did refund me, thank you, but the hotel I feel did not meet their obligation. This is a pity as the hotel had a lot to offer but failed to recognize the basic right to offer and give a reasonable nights sleep If you intend to stay here, please check the room before paying and steer clear of the ground floor don't except room 101
• Johan (10/5): Quiet neighborhood - I had a good stay at this hotel, my sleep was so good that I missed breakfast which was complementary. It's located just 10-15 mins away from Plaza de Bolivar. Friendly and helpful staff. There's a bar at the lower level which offers pretty good local beers in a nice outdoors-ish environment.
• Ric Rodriguez (2/5): Extremely noisy hotel. - If you do not mind to hear the phone ringing all time, the people walking the aisles, the employees chatting, the sounds of the people taking a shower or doing something else in the room next to you, the preparations in the restorant for the breakfast, the receiving of new clients in the lobby, etc., etc., etc. --the list of noises could be infinite--, then, I would tell you my rate for this hotel is 3. Sadly, I am one of those persons that value a lot the quietness of a hotel room, the tranquility of a bedroom. Therefore, I just can give a 1 to this place.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great deal - This hotel was great! We booked a delux room and it was worth it. The staff was incredible and very accommodating with everything. We got free wifi and breakfast. The area is ok, not super close walking distance to any tourists spots, but I felt safe and lots of corner stores near by. So happy we stayed here!

Map not to scale hotel is a bit further down the street ,thought of canceling however gave it another try , it was worth it the room where more than I expected the SHOWER was the best use in all South America. I have change my trip so I can return to this hotel for a bit of R&R at the end of my trip.
