Guest Reviews
- fabienne (10/5): -
- Laura (5/5): - Soft bed It's clean but facility is old and pretty worn. Bedding is newer. I liked that there wasn't carpet. It's fine but should be 15.00 cheaper.
- Greg (1/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): - Customer service was kind. None
- Edie (2/5): Not great - Dog poop every where. Very dirty.
Uncomfortable bed
- Vontisha (1/5): Don’t recommend staying there. - Nothing The comforter had cigarette burns. Tub didn’t look clean I couldn’t shower. There was a hole in the wall packed with a wash cloth.
- Thalia (3/5): Price Too high for such a basic room - Location No shampoo, water did not drain well in sink, bed was uncomfortable, no coffee in room, price too high for such a basic place
- Donn (7/5): -
- Linda (9/5): - Very clean, only a couple minor repairs needed.
Excellent bed, bad lighting to read by.
Easy interstate access, good for handicapped.
All in all good value. I'd slay again.
- Reginald (3/5): Slept in clothes, room was dirty - It was located in a busy spot It was dirty
- Zachary (1/5): - Nothing. It was bad. The gang bangers in the parking lot bumped loud music all night and nothing was done about it. Also every surface of the room was nasty and sticky. The room had a bad odor.
- Timothy (5/5): This place is slightly more comfortable than a prison cell, but works for a night if you are on a budget. You get what - The location was easy to get to. The parking lot is lit up at night like the surface of the sun. I would imagine to deter any unfavorable activities outside and there were plenty of security cameras, so I felt safe leaving my truck and Uhaul trailer parked out front of my room. The person working the desk was very helpful and pleasant. The hot water was extremely hot and plentiful and high pressured. Why all the security and lighting is needed makes me suspicious of the activities going on leading to their needing such drastic measures. The rooms were not clean or well maintained, which is expended for the price point. The linens and towels smelled highly of bleach, so at lease they are clean, but almost nauseatingly so. The mattress, pillows and blanket leaves much to be desired, but also, price point as expected. TV remote did not work.
- Henry (8/5): - Low price , easy check in and out. Clean room with hot shower.
- Brandon (9/5): -
- Velasquez (8/5): - Location No pool
- Velasquez (7/5): - Location No pool
- Gerald (3/5): Disgusting - Close to where I needed to be. Reasonably priced Was not clean, microwave was very damaged and was told no smoking. Someone smoking Marijuana and everything our heater kicked in it would come through the vent.
- Jacobs (1/5): Never stay there - Nothing All the cockroaches
- Cauwaine (1/5): …. - We were able to have a safe place out of the snow. We were there/her for about two weeks, there were no clean sheets or towels offered. We also had no place to put the trash due to full trash bins.
- Pahl (1/5): -
- Michael (1/5): Waste of money, shit service. Sleep in your car instead fr. - Nothing. The door was not properly sealed and the cold ass wind blew through the door both nights all night. There were roaches, piss all over the floor and toilet, tub had pink mold and black mold.
- Dexter (1/5): Awful terrible experience 😢 - Terrible drug infested people hanging out had 2 walk a considerable distance jus 2 access room half of the parking lot roped off cigarette burn marks all on tub Motel 6 should stop letting these Indians come in turn their business 2 shit..... Everything
- Jacey (2/5): -
- Nathanyal (7/5): It was good for the price - I didn’t eat Nothing I can think of
- Marchetta (1/5): - The people in the back literally watch you like a hawk. And our window in our room literally did not lock. So dangerous.
- Bruce (6/5): -
- Arthur (2/5): Would not recommend this place - Location We arrived and snow was not cleaned off the sidewalks and was not plowed. Had to walk through snow above our ankles to get to our rooms . Rooms had dirt all over inside
- Memphis (1/5): Checked in then right out. Rooms were dirty & had cockroaches. They were very uncoordinated. Every room they try to - Nothing Had cockroaches
- verhage (1/5): - Bed bugs cock roaches no plug for the bathtub
- Izack (2/5): - I checked out 2 days earlier then my check out date and they refused to refund me for the 2 days that I didn’t stay there and there was roaches in the room this place is a terrible place to stay
- curt (2/5): - The rooms were absolutely filthy. Literally looked worse than a homeless shelter. Nothing worked in room. Fans broken, taps, no screens in window, beds were full of dirt/food and god knows what else. Walks were super dirty and floors. Both stays different rooms but still exact quality and condition. You get what you pay for. It’s a place to sleep..that’s it. No pool here it’s back filled with sand.
- Jerid (4/5): - It was the only rooms available. The staff were friendly. The room was not cleaned properly and it had a weird smell. Unfortunately, I was stuck because of a canceled flight.
- Keith (4/5): - Price is not worth the stay, cockroach infestation is a problem
- Dustin (6/5): The motel in a great location. - Nice motel. The bathroom door knob in our room was lose and the shower head was leaking.
- Elizabeth (2/5): The employee ran my card three times, yelled at me, tried to cancel my reservation and I HAD TO SLEEP IN MY CAR THE FIRS - The lighting in the parking lot. The cockroaches, the dirty walls, the rude employees, and the way they treated us from the start. The night person who checked us in wouldn’t let us check in until 4 am. When 4 am came around he said the room wasn’t paid for. I showed him the payment on three different apps ( capital one, PayPal, and booking.com).
- Sheyanne (2/5): will not recommend - leaving the place was good it was so dirty, the mattress was uncomfortable, and things were broken in the room
- Guoquan (5/5): -
- Meanus (1/5): Horrible!!!! - Convenience Very dirty had left over items from the last guests under the bed and left over food under the tv, the remote didn’t work, roaches, beds were so uncomfortable, pillows were terrible, just an overall terrible experience.
- Mary (3/5): Wouldn’t stay there again - The location was good The room was dirty, noisy and uncomfortable.
- HYUN (10/5): -
- Bryon (10/5): - Value. Location.
- Justin (4/5): - Affordable There were coachroaches in the unit which made it impossible to relax.
- CAMILLE (2/5): - Tons of flies, looked like there was blood on the curtains and door, all around dirty. Toilet barepy flushed. You have 10 minutes to come back and
- sharon (4/5): - the shower curtain was dirty and crusty on the bottom. the pillows were so wore out, more like half a pillow. the laundry room upstairs was so loud, it vibrated thru the walls, loudly.
the outside area full of cigarette butts and garbage. Not on my list of returning.
- larry (8/5): - Restaurant next door was nice.
- Goetz (4/5): - My room was in poor condition. Smelled musty and bad odor. Sink had no stopper. Holes in ceiling that were not filled in after work orders. Flies in bathroom. No toilet paper holder in bathroom. Floors were sticky. Limited outlets. Towels were folded for use, but still damp from being washed and dried. Police patrols were being done because of noise and likely unlawful activity on back side of building. I will never return to this motel.
- Curtis (9/5): -
- Anastacia (4/5): - It’s a motel 6, so no one was expecting much, but this one is pretty shabby. Linens smelled like urine and microwave plate was missing. Management did not answer phone during an emergency in the night. Get what you pay for I suppose.
- Alan (2/5): Was scary with broken lock - Beds were good The deadbolt was broke, bathroom door could not shut, warped.toilet paper fixture broke
- Eric (3/5): -
- Whitney (2/5): - It was cheap but not worth it
- Candace (10/5): Great Staff! - I liked being able to talk to a person at check in. Very friendly.
- John (2/5): -
- Rebecca (3/5): Poor - Just off freeway and cheap Charged card I reserved with before checking with me. Gave us a room with someone in it. Scary creepy guy hanging out in the lobby. Lights next to bed were very very bright and couldn't use them because they blinded us.
- Judith (6/5): - The bath tub had grease marks on it. There was no trash can. We found a couple items left by previous visitors. The room had a very weird smell to it, and a couple children could not sleep right away cause they kept coughing. It seemed like it was previously smoked in.
- Leona (6/5): - I liked they upgraded me a from a double bed room to queen bed with handicapped bathroom. The air conditioner was fabulous cooling the room. The bedroom flooring was not clean, bathroom was cleaner. The towels super small and thin. Next to major road some traffic noise can be heard.
- Niswonger (2/5): Very poor - Room was dirty, there was still trash from the last guest under the bed as if it hadn’t really been swept and the toilet had piss left in it. Room was missing the light fixture above the beds but there was a hole where the fixture was. The towel racks were broken off and only left one side bracket from the rack to hang towels on, the sink didn’t even have an aerator on the faucet so water shot everywhere when used. I have had good luck in the past with Motel 6s being a hidden gem but the Bismarck ND one is not one of those gems and most definitely will not stay at this place again
- Jacob (2/5): - Honestly I’ve never been the person to write reviews but holy is this place horrible the staff seems nice but my room had stains on the bed, floors, bathroom the doors seem to have have been kicked in just over all looked like 3 homeless people trashed the place for a year an then tried to clean it but you can’t expect no luxury in a 2 star motel 6 lol I just thought maybe atleast the beds would have been clean an free of stains but that was not the case I would definitely not recommend staying here I would pay the extra for a hotel room with a clean rep
- Earl T (2/5): Slum lords - How disgusting. I paid for non smoking , fridge, micro and did not get what I paid for. First room needed condemned I took video. 2nd room but much better. Graffiti of got caught in crosshiar with target. Took a video. No working smoke detectors fire Marshall. I complained to the manager , who then proceeded to tell me this is not Hilton it is motel 6. And I have to much luggage. On. I called no service motel 6 conditioner no service. Why I ho no fridge no micro wave and smoking. There all smoking rooms. No working TV, no new towels. 2 nights 3 days. I got a reference number. For what motel 6. Nothing is to be done. I got ripped off and you did nothing. Be aware this is a slum and motel 6. ur slum lord. Didn’t care one bit I was a vet. Racist yes against single white men. Call center has the same accent. A VP is a alero on his job. Shane on you. Let’s make call center great again. As I asked with no reply to there disrespectful call center. Oh then we shall not expect and standard st motel 6. Fair enough. Slum lords shake!!! Hotels I got ripped off. Ur customer 12 years only. Earl
- Destiny (10/5): Exceptional -
- steven (6/5): - Getting timely service response to issues was problematic.
- Marek (7/5): Good -
- Cloey (8/5): good for the money - the floor felt a little dirty, room wasn't as clean as it should've been but overall wasn't bad for price.
- Jennifer (2/5): - Absolutely disgusting! Passed out meth heads right on property. People living in units with filth, drugs and stench! Flood light at night I can only assume because of the crime. Poop on the bathroom floor and in toilet, vent so filthy I couldn't use the air, cigarette burns on the tub, stunk like cat urine, bed frames crusted in filth and they only offer you a refund within 20 minutes of arrival. Hard to know when you grab your key to get to an engagement and don't throughly check the room before running to the obligation. Let's also talk about the crack so wide in the door you could see outside, the floors so dirty I had to wear shoes, the fridge didn't cool, the bed frames crusted with filth, the man in his chair in 2nd floor passed out from drugs, with his dog staring you down. Seriously, this place spoiled be shut down!
- Bryan (10/5): - Professional and quick check-in and check-out. Room was clean and had internet, hot water, working television, a cold refrigerator, and two comfortable beds.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Motel6 needs better workers - The rooms I got had cockroaches and sheets were still dirty and there was a used dirty needle under the bed bathroom was not clean and I was charged more than what it said on hotel.com
- Eric (2/5): Nope - It had beds. Unknown brown sticky goo on floor next to bed. Red stain on bath towel. Thin walls and noisy neighbors well into the morning. Toiled wasn't bolted to floor, brown stain behind (wax seal broke at some point). Never again.
- Melissa (2/5): - Service cleaning just opens the door and dont knocking at the door while charging clothes
- Samuel (2/5): - It is supposed to be family friendly. My two boys were with me. Next door to us a bunch of guys were having a party. Cussing , yelling and loud music. Totally not family friendly. The front desk attendant did take care of it after I called him at 1am but it shouldn't have been allowed to happen to begin with. I have stayed in other motel 6s due to their pet friendly policies and never had this problem.
- Kaylie (2/5): Never again. Disgusting - It was absolutely disgusting. The floors were filthy. I found an old cigarette that has been used by the mattress. The shower was filled with dirt. I asked for a better room and they said that was the cleanest one which def has not been cleaned in who knows how long. Had a whole above the tv with a towel shoved in it. The towels were dirty. Comb webs in corners. They were rude about fixing or any kind of refund for the filthy room we were given.
- michelle (2/5): - The property was close to everything was why i rented it. We had to change rooms at check in due to it being filthy. Our second room wasnt much better. The shower looked like someone washed dirty engine parts in it, and we moved a small cabinet and found dog food and misc other garbage under the shelf. We were in a pet free/smoke free room. The beds hadnt been swept behind for quite a few guests, and the toilet wasnt attached to the floor. The first time i used the bathroom sink it overflowed onto the floor. I later found that someone had dropped the top of an eyedropper into the sink, which means the sink hadnt been cleaned either. Overall, someone from motel 6 might want to come and do a drop in inspectionoadropped
- Carissa (8/5): Very good -
- Becker (6/5): Quick - less restful than hoped for (due to bed) - A Port in the storm... close to interstate. Property is dated. Curtains weren't hanging properly, heater was overly dirty. Room needs a face-lift either fresh paint. The bed was horrid. Was like someone bought it at a slums garage sale.
- lynn (6/5): - the room was adequate and clean but some upkeep of the room could have been done.
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheldon (6/5): Worth the price paid. - Good price; heater / air conditioner worked well; firm bed No toilet paper holder; no hangers; loud motorcycles went by for several hours at night.
- David (10/5): - Was good
- Neil (5/5): Passable - The price was right. I initially reserved a Queen Deluxe. Should have had a microwave and fridge in the room. They gave me a basic queen. No fridge. Lights over the mirror did not work. Microwave was not plugged in. There was no where to plug it in as there was only one outlet on that wall and that was for the TV.
I submitted a complaint at the front desk. Had to go back a second time. They rescheduled me to another room. Closer to other guests. Peephole was open, just a piece of tissue shoved into it to block that. No drain stops in either the sink, or tub. Cobweb in corner behind the door. Hole cut out in wall above the TV that just had a rag shoved into it. Light above sink was fluorescent tubes. One was burned out. No cover. No fan in bathroom. They clearly repainted, but did not cover the vent hole, or replace the vent, or even the cover.
Staff are friendly enough, but they take no pride in the property. Which is sad because there is nice tile work in each of the rooms I have seen. This could easily upgrade to a 3 star, or better, property if the staff took better care of it.
- Yoshuar (8/5): Very good -
- Bernard (8/5): Very good - I like the location of the motel. I didn't like the fact that housekeeping doesn't come everyday.
- Quinn (10/5): - Nice
- Bethea (4/5): - Of course at such an economical rate, I did not expect alot but the room was fairly dirty, to include a questionable state of the towels. Floor & walls had obvious damage with mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The fridge & microwave had to be moved because of limited outlets, of which it was not next too. Floor was terribly dirty. Room was not cleaned once in 6 days, which was not mentioned anywhere at all or at check in.
- FOR (2/5): - Absolutely nothing The place was horrible
- Clinton (2/5): - Heater in room inoperable during -30 weather, holes in walls, no smoke detectors, bathroom fixtures broken and hanging off wall. Terrible experience.
- Julian (2/5): - Staff was kind but the motel was nasty. There was a soda bottle full of pee outside of my door, the dog waste bin was overflowing, and my girlfriend found a roach in her jacket before we left. On top of that our room was freezing cold because there was a window cracked open and we were unable to close it. The sink sprayed out water everywhere when I turned it on, and we only receieved a few towels with no washcloths.
- Pacome (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jay (2/5): - I didnt even stayvthere and you guys charged me
- Trinity (2/5): - Roaches, hair, dirty walls and muddy floors, no heater except milk heater on table besides bed
- Elaine (6/5): Just Passing Through - Our first impression was that the room was clean, but on closer inspection I noticed that the bathroom needed a deep cleaning along the joints between the bathtub and the tub surround, the shower curtain needed to be washed and the bathroom fan needed cleaning. Having said all that, the bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. For the price it was an okay place to spend one night.
- Summa (1/5): Very cold and uncomfortable! - The room was very COLD! We turned the heater up! SO did the staff! The room never got warm our family bought another room elsewhere in the middle of the night and temperatures was in the negative! COLD ROOM
Staff could not help!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was ok for the price
- Clayton (7/5): Good -
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Roberta (2/5): Poor review - There was old dog food underneath the coffee table, there were no towels or washcloths, it looked like someone had layed down on one of the beds, the pillows were piled up and a indentation on the comforter, the tub was dirty, the toilet had pubic hair on the seat. Needless to say we did not stay the night.
- Baggett (6/5): Pleasant -
- Peter (4/5): - I booked a room with queen bed.
The 1st room they gave us had nasty stains on bed/sheets and bathroom walls. There was no dead bolt on exterior door. Additionally the room had a queen size bed frame but the mattress was much smaller. I complained and they sent us to another room.
The 2nd room was cleaner. Had the small mattress on queen frame (motel person argued that it meets queen criteria). Huge gap under door to outside (it was -20 at night) we stuffed towels under door. No face cloths. No shampoo/conditioner or hair dryer. No lamps besides bed. Only 1 plug for phone charger. Tub was stained bad and has cigarette burns. Working dead bolt. Small TV few channels.
Here are some good things: cheap, lots of hot water, microwave, mini fridge and location.
- Allen (10/5): Nice Stay - Nice and quiet
- Neil (6/5): Cheap hotel, Housekeeping needs more pride in their work. - Staff was friendly. Other than a few things it wasn't too bad for the price. Toilet was not clean. 6 bars of soap, but no shampoo. Only one bath towel and hand towel. Not too much of an issue as I was alone for one night. Heater plug was loose, woke up freezing and had to fiddle with the plug to get it to turn back on. Water in the shower was either scalding hot, or lukewarm. Deadbolt worked, but security latched was broken.
- Paula (9/5): Superb -
- Darla (10/5): Very quiet and comfortable - No breakfast but location close to convenience stores & restaurants Never VIP prices
