Guest Reviews
- Andrew (1/5): Stay away - Did not exist Took my money and wasn’t even open
- Nicholas (1/5): Awful--no OYO there now. - When I got there it was no longer an OYO motel, and I had to pay twice. I want my $152 back that I paid OYO. Please email me at ngmuller1@gmail.com or call me at 303-981-4891 to confirm you are giving me that refund.
Thank you.

- Karla (1/5): DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL - The hotel has changed names it is no longer OYO its Suburban studios. I wasnt informed of this change til I attempted to check in. They had no reservation for me and my family.
- Richard (1/5): - Not a thing, my reservation was cancelled with no notice an my card was charged for it. I want a refund How can you like or not like something if you don't stay there an they still take ur money
- Shelley (1/5): Cancelled my stay and did not refund my money. - They canceled my stay within 48 hours of the reservation, leaving me high and dry for a place to stay. They did not offer help in finding another place to stay. I have contacted them several times, but still have not received my money back. Booking contacted them, but it didn’t help, and they did not reimburse me either.
- João (10/5): -
- michael (2/5): - The property is nothing like the pictures on Expedia and am surprised Expedia even list this. I checked out 4 days early and moved to another hotel. I have pictures and will be disputing this charge for a refund
Bed comfort was unsatisfactory. There was decent food restaurants nearby
- Ronald (2/5): - Entire property closed for rehabbing. Facility closed, I could not stay there
I had to find other place to stay. Why was I not notifieS?

- Baugher (1/5): - Nothing Dead bugs on floor añd and on window sill, couldn't watch tv no signal, bed uncomfortable bathroom light not working
- Pierre (7/5): -
- Winfred (2/5): - No rooms available and no notice of property under construction
- John (1/5): Don't even have a board.homeless shelter - It is homeless shelter.i didn't stay.need my money back.poor customer service. Give my money back
- Bankhead (1/5): Don't stay here - The only good thing about this hotel is the location When we got to the room the room smelled like dog the rooms did not look like the pictures that they posted online the TV did not work and it was so much damage to the room it wasn't even livable to live in or stay the night so we did not stay there we checked out right away I'm asking for a full refund back and the showers were very filthy the toilet was very filthy the sinks were filthy and the doors and the curtains were hanging up by tape. Just please give me my money back
- Allen (10/5): Exceptional - Bed are comfortable
- Allen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (2/5): - Extremely disappointed in this property. Currently trying to get a refined. Property was a mess no sign for the hotel drinking and obnoxious people in the parking lot. My room appeared tampered with after I left and returned my bed was unmade I hadn’t even been in the bed. I packed up and left there was no one at the desk so I left my key. DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel for anyone.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (2/5): - TV didn't work. Door frame broke and left unrepaired. Windows were filthy. Noise.
- Ashly (1/5): Do NOT stay here - Absolutely nothing The room was absolutely awful beds were messed up not made. Trash on floors, holes in walls. Floors nasty, refrigerator smelled awful and so much more. We didn't stay. We walked in the room and immediately left and booked another room. Price was absolutely ridiculous for suck a rundown place. As soon as we pulled on we got bad vibes. Just overall a very bad experience
- Brown (10/5): Yes - Good
- Laura (2/5): Never again - The grounds were trashy… the appearance of the hotel was trashy… the room furniture was trashy… dirty towel on a shelf, remote didn’t go to the tv (we learned this after having the batteries replaced), tv would not stay turned on… one set of towels for two guests… the pics in the ad looked nothing whatsoever like the room or hotel or the description. The service was also trashy. The office was locked so it could be used to live in I guess— we had to go to the window. Got one key for two guests. When I turned in my key, the man was sleeping on the couch in the locked office. I asked for a receipt 3 times and what I got was a nonsense slip of paper with a nonsense amount written on it. Not a receipt in any way. The man clearly did not want to deal with me. I will never trust OYO hotels again.
- travis (2/5): - Horrible hotel, don't stay here
- Lopez (1/5): Bad -
- Mariah (2/5): - Sink leaked toilet ran no tv no wifi
- Eric (2/5): Never Again - Opened fridge in room as soon as ingot there and it stunk so bad i almost threw up. TV and wifi did not work and room had no hot water. On a positive note, only seen one roach and he ran out of the aforementioned fridge when i opened it. Also had to go get towels from the front desk, none were in there upon arrival.
- Eric (2/5): Worst in 35 years of travel - People are nice and helpful but horrible conditions
- Rick (2/5): - Nothing
- Bobby (2/5): Horrible experience - There was dead roaches smashed on the wall, the bed was dirty, the covers had dirt and stained little spots of blood on it. The floor was not swept. The bathroom was disgusting and the room stunk. I sat up all night on a table because I didn't trust anything else. The pictures showed a beautiful room online but it was the complete opposite once I got there. I would really love a refund because I was not comfortable and I did not sleep. And there was a dog in the room next to me that senses my presence and barked all night.
- Reed (1/5): Bad - i did not stay here it was dirty when i walked in and left i should not be charged
- Rachel (10/5): - Nice place
- Manuel (2/5): Receptionist not honest. - Room 209 did have bed bugs. Paint pilling of wall in the bathroom.
- Muralidharan (2/5): - We were arriving late since we were driving from Canada .. we had informed the hotel about this .. reached the place and were told that the hotel was being renovated and only one room was available .. and to check before we took it. Upon opening the room .. there were cockroaches running around. We had to decline the room, obviously and then look for another room,
- Roberto (8/5): You what you pay for - Roaches and whole on door and walls smells funny
- Katherine (1/5): Enough to rest it could be better in so many ways. - The location They charged me twice the amount and didn’t give me any receipt, so now neither bookings nor the hotel is responding to the double charge. Really bad experience with the management of the place.
- Stuart (1/5): Do not stay here - The price was low. Everything was terrible!
The very rude receptionist told me their card payment system was down so I had to go and get cash from an ATM next door.
The beds had pubes through them, spots over the sheets and pillows and the shower was not something you'd like to put bare feet into. The amenities included a half used tiny shampoo bottle. And the room stunk pretty bad.
The place seems mostly inhabited by permeant guests who hang around the motel balconies. We assumed our room would get robbed when we left the place so we took major valuables with us. it certainly did not feel like a safe place.
We later decided to go and find another hotel, collected our stuff and left there.
Then they charged my credit card for a full night's stay, despite me already paying them cash!
It's a horrible dump run by an incredibly receptionist, and it's a con.
- Joseph (2/5): - We did not stay we got to the room and they were burn holes in the bed dead cockroaches in the bathroom. We did not stay. We turned in our key and check back. We are asking for refund
- Matthew (2/5): - See above.
- Juanita (2/5): - You get what you pay for. This property is close to campus and cheap but crawling with cockroaches, poor maintenance, and shady characters.
- Cesar (2/5): - First time there and last. I go into my room and it’s barren. No soap, fridge, or even a trash can. I get a room with 2 beds and neither of them were clean. Both had cigarette burns, red stains, sweat or drool stains on the pillows, and streaks of oil or dirt on the sheets and blankets. The shower leaked water on the floor, the toilet had a dirty ring in the bowl, and dirty towels. The worst things if that’s even possible was the stale cigarette air and the multiple cockroaches I saw during my 1 night stay. Even tho I paid for 2 nights, I only stayed 1 night and found other accommodations elsewhere. Worst hotel room I ever had.
- Kathleen (2/5): - Not good
- Israel (2/5): - Not for people!
- mauricio (2/5): - Inmensamente terrible nonpuedo entender con un hotel de sta categoria puede estar en esta aplicacion
- William (2/5): - Even though I paid for the room online they wanted a $100 security deposit. I have to have the room "inspected" before I leave to get it back and they seem kind of sketchy. I don't have much confidence that I will get it back. I hope my $50 room doesn't become a $150 room.
- Bruce (2/5): - were told after doing a non-refundable reservation through hotels.com the property told us they were shutting down due to some septic issues and that we all had to leave the property and that we needed to contact you about a refund so we were unable to stay
- Brittany (2/5): - What a joke. A huge turd in the toilet, bed was unmade, and 3 buckets worth of water on the floor. No remote for the TV. Owner was EXTREMELY rude.
- Stephen (2/5): - It was totally unsafe and filthy.. I wanted to cancel and get a refund
- April (2/5): - Do NOT EVER STAY IN THIS ROACH MOTEL
- Haley (10/5): - Safe and quite.
- Ronald (2/5): - There were obvious drug deals happening, the first room smelled of animal urine so bad I got tears. The second room the bathroom light sometimes worked, the lock was questionable, and the bed was so terrible I slept very little. I moved furniture in front of the door, too exhausted to find another place.
- Nathan (2/5): - 0 Stars is being too nice. Horrible. Stained sheets (many colors), walls had something spilled on them; shower dirty, lobby window was small bullet proof glass with a bank tray to pay. I left within 5 minutes..
- Megan (8/5): Very good -
- Dr (1/5): To be shut down for renovation - Just an extremely cheap motel, too bad. Looked like a good option to save money. Not sure there's something we liked about this motel. A very bad place to sleep. Noisy rooms (no sonorization at all), even entering light from the street through a closed door. Dirty room and bathroom, including shower with missing bulb, broken hangers, dirty shower plate, dirty walls (including with writings left by guests), insects in the room. The bed sheets were old and with spots. Unstable WiFi. No pool available (despite advertized). Very poor reception and unfriendly receptionists.
This motel should be just closed down to be consistently renovated.
- Wayne (1/5): Bad -
- Robert (2/5): - What was nice about the property management and leaving the property in on your website the price of the room is not the same as the receipt picture are dictating a new hotel that's false advertising and theft by deception probably talk to a lawyer $80 for a dirty Roaches nasty place really want my money back
- Makayla (2/5): - The pictures that they used are not what the hotel looks like on the inside and outside. There was stray dogs outside roaming around..it just looked really sketchy. Couldn’t get a refund..
- Rex (1/5): Bad -
- Jennifer (4/5): - One time I stayed there were stains on sheets, no cups, no conditioner and two ice machine and vending machines broke down front desk said for 6 months not vacuumed.
Not enough pillows or blankets.
You get what you pay for and noisy outside and little sketchy.
The shower curtain were not affixed to shower or clean signs of mildew.
Then the other time clean sheets and vacuumed; it was quieter.
They have a pool and never open.
- Darrell (4/5): - Property looked nothing like online pics. Hotel worse than a motel. 1st room had no working air or heat. Tv did not work. Second room was better but not by much. Hotel did not feel safe. Last but not least - roach in second room. Could not recommend
- Tyler (2/5): I survived the worst hotel I've ever seen - Cheapest stay in town. Wifi was consistent. Water pressure was good. No bed bugs. Paul the cleaner was very friendly. It was the worst stay I've ever had. It's not safe, clean or comfortable and generally in very rough condition. This place is decaying rapidly with ownership doing the bare minimum to maintain it. The hotel is large, but most of the rooms seem to be out of order due to disrepair.
SAFETY
The door was damaged and you can see to the outside, the peephole was painted over, the extra lock has been removed. The people staying here are pretty rough and rowdy. When I first pulled in to unload my things, a man came up to me angrily yelling that's my wife spot. I said "I wasn't aware there is delegated parking here", to which he angrily replied "we live here man!". I didn't want smoke over a parking spot so I moved immediately without replying. This set the tone of my interactions with people staying here. I stayed in my room with the shade down and avoided eye contact with everyone here.
CLEANLINESS
Disgusting. The bed was full of bodily fluid stains and cigarette burns. I took a photo of the neighbors bed while they were cleaning the room and saw that it was drenched in blood stains. I saw multiple roaches. The counters were sticky and had not been cleaned. I received one stained and ragged towel for my 5 night stay. There is a bad odor to the room. Even the lobby when checking in is dirty and in disrepair.
ROOM
The light switch didn't have a switch plate on it. There were multiple holes in the wall. The furniture and bed were uncomfortable. The shower had good solid water pressure, but the temperature varied from chilly to scalding with no way to keep it stable. Its also small and the liner doesn't seal so the floor gets soaked every shower. When I say they do the bare minimum here, I mean it. A switch plate for a light switch cost less than $1 and takes 2 screws to install. They had 2 out of 3 light bulbs in the bathroom, to save cost on an extra light bulb I presume.
- Burland (1/5): The Worst 175 Dollars I've Ever Spent and had Partially Stolen. - I've stayed here prior to this horrendous experience. I usually just check-in, get my room, and check out a few days later.
None of that happened this time. Paid for double room with two beds.
Was given a single in the very back. (This was extremely rude.)
There was a large glass table top just propped up against the wall.
No table. No chairs to sit in. No remote for the television. No phone to call out while my cell was charging.
Room had recently been sprayed for bugs. I'm Asthmatic, so I had difficulty breathing properly. After grabbing food and coming in the door, there was a roach that ran across my pillow.
I brought it up to the young man working that I'd like to be moved. He told me no, they were full, and to check back at 1PM the next day.
Lights didn't work correctly. Sink faucet was broken and sprayed every direction in a violent manner.
I'm not someone to make a big deal about things, but because this was just so unprofessional and I'm still dealing with it. I have to go back and forth with the corporate people to get the one day I didn't stay there at all, refunded.
- David W (10/5): - Parking lot in need of serious repairs
- Michael (10/5): - Suited my needs
- Corey (2/5): - Roaches mice and bed bugs
- William (2/5): - Bed bugs I was up all night getting bit by bed bugs try to explain and let their maintenance know and they all thought it was a joke disgusting disgusting disgusting I am completely beside myself how people can allow this to happen
- Kenneth (2/5): The worst I’ve ever experienced - Might be worst hotel in the area. Towels were dirty, pillow cases had cigarette burns and what looked like blood stains. Nice they arranged them so you didn’t see it at first. Ceiling had what looked like feces smeared in one spot. Door was broken. You have to slam your shoulder into it to open. This was the move the office guy showed me.
Worst toilet in Scotland. If you know you know
- Ricardo (2/5): Bad does it no justice - Horrible does not describe it. First the picture online are not of the actual hotel. I arrived after dark and there were absolutely no lights or even a sign indicating the name of the hotel. Check in was a nightmare. They had NO keys! None! When they found 1 I took it up stairs and did not work so I had to go back down then 2 more keys that didn’t work either! Lady had to open the door with her master key. THEN she never gave me an actual working key to my room. Now the room… nasty restroom with some sort of ring on the toilet. The shower had not been scrubbed since who knows when. The shower curtain was stained with mold. Then no HOT water! By far the worst stay ever. Very deceitful pictures online. This place should not be open at all. I’m sorry but no.
- Clarence (1/5): Bad -
- Jeremy (3/5): Poor -
- Smith (4/5): Disappointing -
- Renata (4/5): Not good - Old hotel, bad maintenance, bed was good, stained shower. Affordable, but not worth it.
- Cheryl (2/5): - Cigarette burned sheets with paw prints. Gross, broken shower curtain. Dirty, loose toilet. Filthy mirror & air unit. I called ahead of time to ask for 1st floor room as I am disabled.Couldn't understand the man, he hung up on me twice. When checking in, no record of Expedia calling on my behalf. Young man behind counter was the only nice thing. The outside stairs where falling apart. Man was banging on doors demanding rent in the morning. I suspect he is the one who hung up on me.
- Sam (3/5): Probably will not be returning to this location. - None of my stuff got stolen, thankfully. Room was not clean, there was definitely a bug issue.
- Ergys (4/5): - Have bugs
- Ray (1/5): There were bugs in the room. - Nothing The bugs in the room. :(
- James (10/5): - Cant beat the value. Its not the ritz but the bed was clean and the heater and water worked.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ok, some good abd some bad - Property in the middle of remodel. Room could have been cleaner, the floor was sticky. Cheap rate so a decent value overall.
- Benge (5/5): Passable - Good value, cheap Building is quite run down, could barely even open the door to our room cause it stuck and bathroom light kept going out.
- David (1/5): Awful - Nothing The bed the building the staff the location
- Verified traveler (4/5): - One of the lights in the room did not work. The shower was only cold water. My key didn't work once, they rekeyed it at the office. The office staff said in horrible English that if I put it near my phone it won't work(it was never next to my phone). Staff said if I needed another rekey it would be $5.Pretty rude office staff. Room was clean
- Jacob (1/5): it was genuinely awful - nothing cockroach infestation, wifi doesnt work, sheets smelled like pee
- Jaber (2/5): - Not safe and dirty
- Murtaza (2/5): - The hotel room that I had was full of bedbugs and cockroaches and it was smelling like cigarettes and trash
- Marla (1/5): I NEVER stayed!!! - Absolutely nothing! I was NOT a no show!!! I was told that I needed to be there by 3am. I was there about 2:30am. He said there were no rooms left. So we said to not charge my card! He did anyway. I am demanding my money back! We NEVER received ANY services Professionalism for a start. Being able to talk to a real person
My money STILL hasn't been credited back!!!
- Aleta (2/5): - This property is self determined for a specific use. O-n Y-our O-wn...OYO! It should Not be offered to the general public for business. It was Less than a basic place to lodge, I was Appalled! It wasn't my reason for registration, and I couldn't get a refund because I registered on Expedia. They were asking Over $100 for a night, it wasn't worth Free because of the deception. UNBELIEVABLE! I don't want to bad mouth them because it has its purpose and function, for a specific type of people AND for those that NEED IT'S Brand. Tell the truth in the description and advertising.
- Zhengxin (2/5): - The property is in deuterating condition. Broken furniture, dirty lining lying everywhere. Bed bugs are visible in the room. It should be unlisted in Expedia
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t stay here not worth it!!! - Bed bugs, cockroaches, don’t even clean the rooms fully. People doing drugs outside of the rooms, prostitution going on at night. Couldn’t even sleep
- Oluwasina (1/5): Non satisfy. - Not conducive and dirty
- Maksim (4/5): - the bedding is not the first freshness, you lift the blanket and the gonorrhea says hello to you, the water barely flows, but I usually don’t write comments because of this, what pissed me off most was that bedbugs walk on you at night
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - No staff to greet me to check in and I had to find my room myself which was just unlocked for anyone to go in other then me. Then there was no vending machine to get any drinks from or ice machine for ice either. No pillows were on my bed and only one towel was in the bathroom. No dresser either just a coat hook and a desk chair but no desk. Smelled light paint and was dirty with furniture outside the rooms and mattresses on the parkinglot street. Renovations being done in the rooms right next to me. Dirty toilet seat and no bedding on the sheets.
- Paul (2/5): - I got a dozen bedbug bites while at this hotel. I would not recommend anyone stay there. Staff was friendly but the place is not well maintained and very dirty. And there is no excuse for having bedbugs.
- William (4/5): - No washcloths, smoke detector beeping, sheets dirty, pillowcase dirty, shower did not have any pressure, I asked for wash clothes 3 times and never got any. Would not recommend!
- Sandi (2/5): - Our bed was broken and dirty, the door did not lock at all was broken,it had roaches and our room made me feel unsafe..we didn’t even stay we left i do not recommend this hotel at all very disappointing
- Sharon (2/5): - It wasn't what I expected and it didn't look like the picture that I saw on the advertisement and no working pool trash everywhere it wasn't what I expected
- Anonymous (1/5): AWFUL - NOTHING AT ALL this property was DISGUSTING AND DIRTY I HAD TO ARGUE FOR TISSUE AND TOWELS. THE TOWELS I USED TO STEP ON I HAD TO BUY MY OWN AND LINEN. THE LINEN HAD PUSS STAINS, POLICE WERE THERE EVERYDAY DRUG ADDICTS LIVE THEIR. one of the beds was practically on the floor, no washers on the faucets so I showed like I was being sprayed by the fire department. Every time we used the sink or shower the floor would be in puddles. The shower curtain was DISGUSTING the mirrors were DISGUSTING I HAD TO CLEAN TO BE COMFORTABLE. I ask for house keeping they only half clean when you check out. they wanted me to bring them my linen instead of coming to get it and I told them ABSOLUTELY NOT. Every there look like they had been kicked in by the police, I was VERY SCARED THEIR I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK
- Magan (1/5): Bad - Disgusting, dirty, the room smelled like death. Will never go there again. Stain, filthy, bugs, brown sludge from the faucet.
And the staff were rude.
- Lawrence (1/5): This place needs a remodel and should close until.done so. - Nothing The place smells has cheap decor . I should of called the Health department.
- Yusuf (1/5): There are bedbugs. Be careful - There are bedbugs. Be careful There are bedbugs. Be careful
- Markus (2/5): - It was probably the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in.
At first they gave me a key to a room, I went to the room and opened the door. I walked straight into an already occupied room. Not cool. Had to go back and get a new room key.
The room smelled SO bad. Stains everywhere on the bed. The TV didn't work, the remote was covered in a sticky residue, and the bathroom was pretty gross too.
I stayed for a total of 6 hours, got some sleep, and checked OUT. All of the things that I had in the room with me smell terrible now.
I would never come back.
