Plenty of breakfast provided, and great cooking facilities. We absolutely loved the place and would definitely stay again!

- Yvonne (10/5): This was for my daughters 20th birthday weekend so to have 20yr olds in a house like this and not in some fancy hotel or - The property was super comfortable cozy and inviting. It holds some good old fashioned charm which was perfect for us. It’s quite private and still in close proximity to the wineries. The beds were all very nice clean and comfortable. The dining table is a show stopper but it’s the real feel of the place that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the creature comforts the simple life with a home full of love and charm. To be honest not one thing but being in the bush it’s only natural to see a few insects outside so if you’re not into nature and the beautiful flora and fauna this is not your place.

- lewis (6/5): Would have to think twice before staying there again - especially in Summer or Winter!! - Location to the vineyards, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri and Maitland was excellent. The cottage was clean and the eggs, bacon, milk and breakfast cereal's were are lovely touch. Everything was easy to find in the kitchen and there was great storage space for our food. It was very peaceful and quiet when we were at the cottage (except when the fans and air-con were on). Lounge & sofa chair were too low and the floor slippery which made it very hard to get out off. Wi-Fi was very intermittent and we had to keep re-connecting to it multiple times - ended up going to Kurri Kurri McDonalds to do some online banking and other searches. As it is an un-insulated cottage, thought there would have been air-con in the bedroom as it did get very hot, so we had to leave the air-con on in the lounge room for most of the nights as well as the fans going - they got a bit noisy if on medium, so had to keep them on low. When the TV first comes on it has the steaming apps & I didn't realise that we had to enter our own password to access - didn't have it with me so couldn't log on - would have been nice to have known this in advance. A hand rail to get in and out of the spa bath would be a bonus as we are in out mid 60's (with bad knees) and find it hard to get in and out.
- Sarah (10/5): - Beautiful serene location, amazing roomy cottage and great value Owners kept in contact with reminders and emails to fill me in on many things available to experience in the area and were flexible with check in/out times. I had contact through the process leading up to my stay and I didn’t have to chase anything up at any time they were wonderful. They were also easily contactable if needed. I loved my stay I was there as a wedding guest but my family and children would have adored it Hope to back soon 🤩

We swam, played tennis and packed our own badminton set. Food supplied for breakfast was fabulous! The owner was just wonderful and brought us some lovely home grown tomatoes.

We arrived at night and waking up in the morning seeing the back verandah and the view of nature made the experience so relaxing. I couldn't fault this cottage.

Even though there were others staying onsite, it felt as if we had the place to ourselves. The well-appointed, rustic cabins were a perfect mix of comfort and charisma. The only thing that was a little tough to manage at times was the dim lighting, however, this also added to the ambience so tough to critique it!

Very close to the wineries, the main town was just 10 minutes away for any other supplies required. Loved the provided breakfast.

- Amy (7/5): I experienced a cottage stay unfortunately i wouldn’t go back - The cottages cute The cottages are cute felt like I was staying at my Nanna’s house! however the amenities & rough roads leading in & around to find our cottage were quite difficult to navigate! Here’s a tip- Garden solar lights at night or some kind of lighting , We ordered a courtesy bus pickup /drop off for dinner the nights we stayed it was pitch dark using our phone lights to get back to our cottage trying not to get lost, fall or trip was quite challenging. Tennis court needs to be redone pool had spiders in it I commend you, you like things in order & just so, but it’s quite off putting when on holiday, to read so many signs on walls/doors/fridge/cupboards/Aircon/bathtub of your rules & regulations. I can understand strict guidelines for use of the fireplace, but it was rule overload ! So much potential to get the basics right

- Scott (10/5): Relaxing peaceful accommodation not far from home - First thoughts were what an amazing old country cottage feel to the place Everything about the the cottage from its use of old building materials to the decor of antique furniture and plates displayed about the cottage gave us an instant feeling of being at your great grandparents house Relaxing on the front or back porch just surrounded by nature I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely book again We loved everything about this place

Loved having a spa bath and lighting the fire each evening. It was the perfect getaway. Not much not to like. In summer I think screen doors to keep out the flies and bugs would be good.

Some maintenance is needed. The lead light glass in the front door was at risk of falling off out. Some floor boards need fixing and the gutters need cleaning out. Very minor issues.

- Buddy (4/5): NICE BUT VERY DISAPPOINTING AS PER ABOVE - THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD FACILITIES WERE GREAT, AMPLE...SHOWER THE PIPES MADE THE LOUDEST NOISE DUE TO AIR IN PIPES IT WAS DRIPPING MOST OF THE TIME ...THE VIEW, QUIETNESS WAS LOVELY, BBQ WAS GOOD THE DECOR WAS OUTDATED THE COTTAGE NEEDS WORK AND UPGRADING VENTILATION WAS MINIMAL AND IT SMELT OF MILDEW STALE MOISTURE WHICH AGRIVATED SINUSES LOST MY TASTE BUDS DUE TO THAT WE HAD TO LEAVE ON OUR 2ND DAY MISSED OUT ON OUR THIRD NIGHT...THE POOL WAS SO OUTDATED RUST ON THE WALLS BROKEN WINDOWS WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO USING IT WE DID NOT USE IT DUE TO ITS CONDITION...THE TENNIS COURT IS IN BAD CONDITION UNEVEN GROUND EVERYTHING WAS OUTDATED AND IN BAD CONDITION. GUTTERS WERE FULL OF GRASS AND GROWING PLANTS WHICH DOSENT ALLOW RAIN WATER TO PASS

- Richelle (8/5): Cute Cottage, Value for money, a relaxing escapade. - This is a rustic wooden cottage getaway. It had everything we needed and lots of thought has gone into making the ‘guests stay’ a success. The basic breaky hamper to give both days & the large spa bath were an added bonus. Very quiet estate, we never saw another person. It’s located right in the heart of the bush. So just be aware ants & spiders are outside but not in. Same goes for the pool area which could use a indoor pest spray and some TLC :)

Our bed was so hard that we couldn't use it. Thankfully, our 7yo didn't mind so he slept in the big bed while the rest of the family used the bunk beds. But it was just one mattress. All the others were comfy.
