Guest Reviews
- Lenthe (8/5): Had all amenities just not cozy - No breakfast Carpet instead of hard floor
- Janice (10/5): - Professional and friendly staff, room was clean and welcoming very comfortable beds,, central to all places we visited
- Leticia (1/5): They cancelled my appointment - I like NOTHING at this establishment!!!!!!
They cancelled my reservation, they did NOT notify me.
They caused me to miss 30 minutes of my concert.
The attendant was extremely rude and hostile.
I will file a grievance with the BBB. All of it see the above.
- John (1/5): Never will I book here - I was notified one hour before my arrival after driving 500 miles, that my reservation was canceled due to hotel issues Never saw it
- Mark (5/5): It on the highway so… you can hear the trucks. Window coverings need to block more lights -
- George (10/5): Great - Cleanliness NA
- Kristina (8/5): - Clean, dog friendly. Good value for the cost
- Wall (9/5): -
- Robin (10/5): If you’re out and about and need a clean, comfortable place to clean up and rest, this place is awesome! - Very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Easy 10 minute drive to Winstar. Good value for the price. Liked everything!
- shawn (9/5): - Everything was great! Clean etc! The bed was hard mattress was uncomfortable
- Cindy (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and newly updated
Great value Nothing
- Glen (7/5): accommodating - quiet and peaceful
- Monica (8/5): Great value and very clean - Clean and efficient. Also the price was a great value. My only complaint was the microwave did not have a platter and only had coffee for one knowing there were 2 guests.
- Virginia (9/5): Excellent - The room was clean and comfortable. We had our DOgs there was a place for them to go. Everything was good. everything was fine.
- Amanda (2/5): - The door barley shut you could see so much out side light around the door. Made me feel very unsafe. Holes in bedding and towels. Hard bed dusty and cobwebs.
- Vince (8/5): was a nice place to stay and would do so again - location was great and close to Winstar Casino
renovations were noticeable could use more clothes hanging space
bed comfort was good enough
- Denise (6/5): All in all for a Motel, it was clean and we didn’t have any issues - I liked the location and it’s a very good value. The bathroom area could use a new coat of paint (Rooms 103 & 104) and the reception area (window sill) definitely needs a good cleaning and/or new paint.
The porch lights are extremely bright and even with the drapes pulled, too much light gets in the room for me.
- David (7/5): -
- Robert (10/5): Great value! The room was clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. -
- Harris (8/5): - Clean rooms and quiet area No complaints
- Richard (4/5): Would not stay here again! - Location Reminded me of a motel 6
- William (8/5): -
- James (6/5): Adequate foe what we needed. The price was right. - It was away from town so there was not a lot of traffic at night. It was close to the casino we were going to for a concert. The water was hot. The ac worked. The bed was clean. Newly remodeled, and looks nice. Room was big. Some of the remodel in the bathroom is already failing. The shower curtain rod was barely attached to the wall and was low enough that I hit my head on it. There were bear bottle caps in the upper corner of the shower. The soap dispenser at the sink was not working and wouldn't stay shut. The bed was very firm. But you never know with hotels. New, but not good quality. Attention to details would have made this a better place. But I can see there is am effort to improve it.

- Mark (9/5): Convenient, friendly and comfortable. - Very clean, comfortable and safe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to a variety of places to eat. I great place to stay for a couple of nights while exploring Muenster, Lindsay, Saint Jo or other spots in north Texas or the Red River Valley. Easy access to the Winstar Casino and Resort. Our only complaint is while we liked the outdoor lighting that enhanced safety, better black out curtains in the room would be appreciated.
- Andres (9/5): If youre looking for a quick place to stay for a night its cheap and clean. - Place was clean, staff was friendly. Its a good spot that is close to the WINSTAR Casino. Aint nothing fancy, as I treat it as a place to just sleep. Clean room and sheets. Only negative was we had a dirty towel and a couple of holes in the room, but in the end, its just a place to rest for the night. A/C was good but didnt blow super strong in the morning, making the room humid.
- Whittaker (8/5): -
- Martin (8/5): -
- stephanie (8/5): Very happy with our overnight stay! Clean & great quaint location. - Very clean, great area/location!! I would definitely recommend for the price!!
- Schuman (2/5): spartan and overpriced - missing bathroom doorknob
- Tammy (7/5): -
- Victoria (10/5): -
- Denise (8/5): -
- Ronda (8/5): Comfortable - Location, nice little Motel, clean Curtains leak the light from the outside lights because they cover the sides of the windows well.
- Frank (7/5): No frills. Clean and safe. - It was clean and appeared to be a safe area. The bathroom. Door knob was broken. Other than that it was fine.
- Jackson (10/5): -
- Teresa (9/5): Very comfortable and clean… - Clean and well lit…staff was very nice and helpful with directions… The cost… total $157.00 for one night and no breakfast area.
- Art (10/5): It was all good other than that it was clean and good for the price - Well lit The coffee supplied was old tasting. No closet
- Paul (6/5): -
- McCune (8/5): - I liked the price and parking. The bed was big. Room was nice. Nice to see a basketball hoop for kids Tv had cable that kept delaying alittle. Would love a pool or breakfast. No closet with extra pillows or blanket in handicap room
- Cathy (6/5): Clean, comfortable, affordable - It was east access and near my event in Gainsville It’s poorly insulated so you can hear conversations and TV from next door room.
- Tracy (10/5): - Very clean and quiet. Staff always welcoming.
- Paul (6/5): -
- Tracy (10/5): - Li stay here often for work and the staff is always welcoming and friendly.
- Mark (6/5): Uncomfortable, sleepless night! - Staff Bed was like laying on a sheet of plywood. Pillows were very small, square 12"X12" and felt like they were full of sand. I truly was so uncomfortable I hardly slept at all the whole night.
Our first room door had obviously been kicked in. The door frame and jam were badly cracked, and the latch was literally about to fall off! THE DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK!
We asked for another room and management was quick to reassign us to another room that locked.
I usually, almost never, say this, however, I WOULD NOT recommend Lindsay Inn if you want to feel secure or get any sleep at all! I feel like we got almost nothing for our $175!
- BrokeBoy (10/5): Will stay again - I enjoyed my night here. Front office lady was nice. Room was clean. Shower was hot. Very pleasant experience.
- Lindy (6/5): Decent and Clean - Unfortunately there are not that many choices in this particular area. Lindsay Inn was good enough & clean. We arrived late and found that our TV was not working. The option was to change rooms which really wasn't practical since we were already settled in and ready for bed. I was told that someone could come fix it but no one ever came and we went to sleep. With these very basic accomodations the TV as one of the only amenities should certainly work/be checked prior to renting room.
- Tracy (10/5): - Very nice, quiet and clean. The staff always has my room ready.
- Heather (8/5): Quaint & Quick in Lindsay - Don’t forget your hair dryer! They do not offer one in the room or property. And if you enjoy a concrete slab to sleep on, this is your spot! Other than that, it was clean, the AC was awesome and the staff was friendly!
- Julie (10/5): - You will be so pleasantly surprised when you open the door to your room. Clean and newely updated.
- Tracy (10/5): - I stay often while on business. Always clean and friendly staff.
- Daniel (4/5): Not a good place - Staff was not friendly . Room was very wired . Felt like I was being watched
- Stephen (10/5): - Not to far off the beaten path for a quick stay. Friendly staff
- Tracy (10/5): - Nice place and great staff.
- Lucas (10/5): Jeep - Great overnight stay. Have stayed several times for work. Easy conveniently located.
- Donald (8/5): -
- Bartruff (8/5): -
- Lucas (10/5): Jeep - Great overnight stay. Clean comfortable and ac worked great.
- Mike (2/5): - I booked this through Expedia you guys ran my card. Quoted me 9428 when I get here they’re trying to charge me $119. I’ve been driving since nine or 10 in the morning from San Antonio. I stopped in Dallas to watch a cowboy game now I’m up here. I’m tired. I need to be able to rest and I can’t. I gotta go find another place and I’ve already ran my card for almost $100.
- Robert (8/5): Clean and well maintained. - The room was nice. But close to a highway and there was road noise at night. Air conditioner was noisy but have had worse. Had hand dispenser soap in that did not work well for a bath as it was at shoulder height. Would stay again if we needed to.
- Paul (5/5): -
- Tracy (10/5): - Stay here often for business. Always very friendly and clean.
- Paul (7/5): -
- Tracy (10/5): - Nice. Quiet. Staff always welcoming
- La Quanda Ousley (6/5): - Can get noisy at night.
- Tracy (10/5): - Very nice and quiet. The staff is friendly.
- Galela (8/5): - Very quiet for being so close to the highway. Pillows were small and not enough towels in the rooms.
- Melissa (8/5): - Small property with friendly staff. The room we had needed a seal at the bottom of the door. So there were bugs like crickets and grasshoppers that got into the room. Also the streetlights coming through the window were very bright throughout the night. They need blackout curtains that are large enough to block all of the light out.
- Nona (8/5): - Lindsay Inn is a good motel with the basic needs and not all the bells and whistles. We had a few crickets in a room, but they did not chirp during the night thank goodness.
- Michael (10/5): - Bed was very comfortable. No food options but that’s ok.
- Tracy (10/5): - Always nice, quiet, clean and safe.
- Susan (6/5): - For the cost it was ok thanks
- Cat (8/5): -
- Sammy (10/5): - clean
- Davis (8/5): - I have stayed at the in 4 or 5 times in the past 3 years. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but the inside of the rooms are consistently clean and nice (for the price). The people in the office are friendly. This time there was an issue with my booking not displaying properly for them (this has never happened before, so I suspect the issue might be with Booking.com), but they fixed it in about 15 minutes by giving me a new room, which was an upgrade in that it had a jacuzzi! I didn't like that they couldn't find my booking, but again that hasn't ever happened before, so I suspect the website was at fault.
- Shari (2/5): - I called property on our way to see how late we could check in, I had already reserved/PAID through Expedia. The girl kept telling me they only had 2 rooms left, and if I got there too late they might not have a room for me?
Basically, Gross. Save your money and go somewhere else.
AC was old and smelled like stinky sneakers. Almost couldn't stay in room at night.
Room was poorly maintained. At least 3 light bulbs were out in the room so couldn't turn on some of the lights.
We didn't even have the soap containers refilled in bathroom, had to go back and ask office to provide soap for the bathrooms, and they said they would just move me to another room, to which I protested. Finally they agreed to just come give me some refill soap.
Toilet Paper holder on wall was broken, so they just had toilet paper setting on back of toilet.
Flooring was cheap vinyl, and there were gouges in it where apparently someone had pushed furniture across it. Floors weren't mopped well, felt gritty.
It looked like a 10 year-old had painted in the room, the pull-out sofa had paint all over the cushions that they had just tried to wipe off. The pull-out bed under cushions was so dirty/dusty when I removed the cushions that I didn't even attempt to pull it out to use.
Cigarette butts everywhere in the shrubbery beds outside the room, even one room had it's own bucket named 'Butts'.
AC leaked on the sidewalk outside room.
Bed frame broken on end, and not fixed.
- Lucas (10/5): Vehicle pick up - Great overnight stay. Quiet and comfortable room.
- Mcdonald (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything. AC works amazing. It was already on before we came in. Clean, bed soft and pillows. The shampoo conditioner and shower gel is on the wall. Same with hand soap and lotion. Also the art that's on the wall. I LOVE it. I'm a big art person. There's nothing I dislike.
- Tracy (10/5): - Staff is very courteous and kind.
- Gary (4/5): No thrills no frills. - People around our room were noisy and played tv loud all night. Bathtub is a mess. No thrills inn.
- Sarah (2/5): - This Inn was disgusting. We wanted something cheaper because we go to Winstar and don’t normally sleep very long anyways. We walked in the door and it smelt like straight cigarette smoke. There were dead bugs on the ground and hair all over the bathroom. There was brown stuff dripping down the wall. We didn’t even end up staying because it was so gross we didn’t even want to sleep in the bed. I highly recommend choosing somewhere else to stay.
- Tracy (10/5): - Stay here often and never disappointed. Staff very accommodating and friendly.
- Tracy (10/5): - Nice, quiet and staff always available.
- Tracy (10/5): - I stay here while on business always quiet and friendly.
- Kevin (10/5): - Great hotel for the prize close to WinStar Casino!
- Tiffany (8/5): Will definitely stay here, again. - We love the location when visiting family nearby. The staff is very, very kind and helpful. This stay was a bit noisier than previous visits. This was our fourth visit in the past six months. There was a large group in front of the rooms and in the parking lot with loud music, talking, etc. They did quiet down by 10:00pm.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracy (10/5): - Conveniently located and very nice.
- Tracy (10/5): - Stay is always nice. Staff is very friendly.
- Angela (8/5): Nice hotel - The hotel was clean and the bed was okay for a hotel bed. The only thing that need improvement was how much light comes in the window from the parking lot.
- Kristie (6/5): - Our stay was okay, we were just in town for a concert. When we first got there we had to call for the receptionist to come to the front which okay, it’s a small property so no biggie. However the front check in area had a very strong smell to it which wasn’t pleasant.
Our room was okay as well, we noticed a few dead bugs in the corners of the bathroom. Dow falls of the room: Pillows were small & bed wasn’t that comfortable as it was hard. There was a huge gap at the bottom of the door which is how I assume the bugs got into the room. I definitely overpaid for the room,I should’ve paid a bit more & stayed elsewhere!
- Tracy (10/5): - Nice, quiet place to stay.
- Francisco (8/5): - Nice little motel. No bells and whistles, but pretty nice. Simple, friendly staff, clean rooms.
I was pleasantly surprised.
- Randall L (10/5): - Good place to stay. Will use again.
- Tracy (10/5): - I stay for business trips. Always nice.
- Zachary (10/5): - Very nice staff and clean spacious rooms
- Cherel (10/5): - Nice room but there was too much light from the outside. There was no way to make the room dark.
- Tracy (10/5): - Nice and quiet. Staff always friendly.
