• Stephanie (6/5): Substandard efficiency of front desk - Checking in was a bit of a problem since I made 2 bookings…they couldn’t find one of the 2 bookings…but Ian was very very helpful and made things as seamless as possible. We left early the next day for a meeting, and we did not return till 7pm…we were hoping to return to a clean and made up room and were quite disappointed to find our rooms the way we left them…I had to call 3 times before someone came to clean, and give us water, new towels and toilet paper…although Wowee(the housekeeping guy) was the absolute most respectful and was utterly apologetic for neglecting to oversee the cleaning of our room. However, the person I spoke to in front desk was very curt and apologetic and tried to spin the blame on us by telling us that we probably left the “do not disturb” sign on…which was off! Check out was easier although they failed to print out a receipt…

• Rudolfo (6/5): Beds were not accommodating - The buffet was the best, it had only 2 twin beds instead of 2 full beds or 2 queen beds. Also they would let up people (family) come up to the rooms without us letting them. There should ge some type of security. We even told them the last day not to let any one up and say we checked out. A drunk family member came up before 6am banging on our door had to finally call security

It stinks of mould as you enter the hotel Bed is really hard, couldn’t sleep at all. Breakfast is mediocre, lots of options but really low quality, my husband got food poisoning , It was really hard do find a place to sit after 7 am. Not the hotel’s fault but there is a river/ sewage canal near by that makes the pool area very smelly

Blaring music was too loud in the adjacent function room having zumba next to the buffet area that it took away the peace and calmness of enjoying breakfast. It was too loud. Complete disregard for other guests.

• Fajardo (10/5): If you’re staying in CDO, this is the perfect place to stay. Staff were nice, welcoming and polite. Facility is well kep - Central location. I parked my car in front and checked in and just walk to places that I needed to go to. Nothing really.

My only issue was that the staff was not as friendly to my 2 year old as I am used to at other hotels in the area. I was also underwhelmed by the executive lounge. I will go back to the hotel but they need to step up the service compared to the other major hotel in CDO.

I'm actually surprised with the overall very high and positive reviews by guests. 1. The light sensor in room is just a joke, i was doing work on desk and the light went off sudden, i know it is sensor but when i stood up, the sensor triggered again but i have to turn on the light manually, this has been going on 2 - 3 times within few minutes, talked to hotel staffs with very ridiculous reason given, the card wasn't slot properly and advised to slot 2 cards, but outcome still the same, didn't solve the annoying light sensor problem. 2. Water heater turn heat very slow. 3. cleanliness is just so so, still seeing dust on surface. 4. Breakfast has more variety, but taste sucks.

This is a beautiful hotel that is connected to a huge mall. So many restaurants and places to go to within walking distance. Security is very professional and helpful. Laundry service is excellent. There is a 711 next doot and 24 hour restaurants nearby. Housekeeping does an amazing job as well as the servers for the breakfast buffet ( so many options) This is a very comfortable place. I highly recommend. My new favorite hotel. I will be back!

There was no mini bar as advertised. I was expected to use my own Netflix. The safe was broken. Towels were not changed.

My room was 1712 and it was right next to service lift area. The walls were so thin that i was almost awake entire night due to noise from the corridor and lifts. The Aircon was very bad and I was sweating throughout the night. I would highly unrecommend this place. Breakfast was also bland. They even charge for fruit juice! only water is free! Seemed like I was in victorian era.

• Myleen (8/5): It was a great stay- I would give 4 stars except for the pool fee. - Location, amenities, restaurant For guests who bring family members to use the pool, paying 800 php per person does not make sense when you have to order food from the restaurant and pay the fee per person as well. It’s too much and not worth paying the fee. I was told by the front desk that it was the hotel’s policy. I need to read the fine print next time. There’s a powdery smell near the carpet/entrance of the hotel which gave me a headache- i’m sensitive to smells.
