Guest Reviews
- Sharon (10/5): - Pet friendly. Extremely clean room
- Thomas (2/5): - Horrible place to stay. Worst I’ve ever been in.
- Kelli (2/5): - Needs to be updated and properly cleaned. The blinds were all torn. I will not stay here again
- jEROME (2/5): - This place is a misrepresentation. Dirty, Nasty, smokey. And the place had the nerve to not want to issue me a refund. Made me pay even though the accomodations were terrible. I did not stay and they charged my card for 3 rooms
- John (2/5): Demolish this place! - This was by far the worse hotel I have stayed in. Everything is broken, not clean, cockroaches everywhere.
- Pamela (4/5): Awful…. - This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in. It was filthy and smelled horrible. There were roaches and the furniture was dirty and gross, would never sit in the chair. The bed looked clean but it was very shaky, it squeaked every time a movement was made it was also not very comfortable and only had two very flat pillows. The hotel is very outdated and needs lots of TLC. The walls are dirty and paint is peeling, there are rooms with cat little and pet kennels sitting outside of them and it smells awful. We hardly slept because of a barking dog next door. We booked the room for 2 nights to help my daughter move into her college dorm but we only stayed one night because we weren’t comfortable staying another night.
- Kristy (10/5): Great service - Clean, friendly, and it was just right for a quick stop!
- David (2/5): - Found dead roach in fridge, more on furniture.
- Verified traveler (4/5): They sold the room to someone else. - I booked this hotel online but when i got to the hotel, they sold the room to another customer and i had to look for another hotel to stay in. I was very upset. I will not book this hotel again.
- Kelvin (6/5): - The fact that the neighbors had dog that barked all night made the less satisfying
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room had Roaches..uncomfortable beds and hot rooms. They moved us but it was an all around horrible place. I would never go there again and would not recommend for anyone.
- Carla (4/5): Do not stay here! - The room was awful. It smelled awful and fixtures were loose or not working properly. Infested with small roaches.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - After paying and going to the room, I saw the condition of the room and returned to the desk for a refund.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Worse ever - Let's see to start with the lady that checked me in looked like she hasn't bathed in a few days.. pictures look alot better on the site! Got parked and almost ever room I had to walk past had a dog in it and there was plates of food outside for cats! The room looked like it hasn't been vacuumed the beds didn't have proper bedding on them.. they had 2 flat sheets on them just thrown over instead of fitted sheets. Behind the dresser where the tv was there was what looked like animals hair ... no shampoo .. ugh it was the worse hotel I ever stayed in.. wouldn't go back ever !
- eamom3 (6/5): Adequate hotel when Statesboro is full for event. - The room was clean and was what I expected for a 2 star hotel. I was pleased that the room did not have any bad odor considering it was a smoking room. My biggest issue was the toilet that didn't function well and I consider this a necessity. If I were to stay here again I would bring my own towels.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Mark (2/5): College visit - Booked our room with Orbitz for a quick overnight stay for a campus visit the next morning. We arrived after driving overnight a little after 1:00am. Upon arrival for check in I was informed by the clerk that I "supposedly" called in to cancel my reservation earlier that evening. After her comments I asked her why would I be here for check in if I canceled my reservation? Her response was I am sorry but there is nothing I can do, the only option is a smoking room that might have a "little" smoke smell but she would be happy to supply me with some air freshener if I wanted to book that room instead. After looking at the room I was disgusted by the horrendous smell ( I could barely breathe in the room due to the horrible smell) and condition of the room( not sure the last time they cleaned the toilet), I told the clerk no way. I was than forced to find another hotel in a town further from out destination. I would not have stayed in the smoking room even if it was free!
- kelly (6/5): Any hotel in a hurricane evac. - nothing great - basic room
- Verified traveler (2/5): I don't know how you keep this on the Expedia - If I was Expedia I would take this hotel of the maps it was the worst place I've ever stayed Towels felt like sandpaper no shampoo no hairdryer in the room
- Marquan (4/5): - I didnt stay the night. The room smelled as soon as we walked in and there were roaches. I ended up wasting my money only to find somewhere else to stay
- Vicki (8/5): basic room but comfy bed - Hotel needs a little more than a face-lift, but it was all I needed for the night I was there. The lady at check-in and out was very friendly. Bed was comfortable, that's all I was looking for.
- Gigi (6/5): - The room had an air conditioning unit below the window that was off when I got into the room. It was near 100° that day, making the room stifling. It took 3 hours for the room to become comfortable.
- Jerome (6/5): Great Customer Service; Room Not So Great - The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She had a big smile when I came in and helped me and great customer service skills. The room, on the other hand, was okay. I took off bed sheets and pillow cases and noticed quite a bit of stains and there were a number of stains on different wash cloths and towels. The furniture looked cheap and they crowded the room. The room was cheap, so you basically end up feeling like you are getting what you paid for. Although I appreciated the cost and the lady's customer service, I think they should take time to update the room.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Zimmer auf der Baustellenseite bekommne, obwohl andere freiu waren, langsames WLAN, bad breakfast
- Gina (6/5): It is "okay" - The people were very nice who worked there. The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size. The bathroom was very small, but clean. The location is very close to the University Campuses and easy to get to being right off the interstate. The continental breakfast leaves lots to be desired.
- julius durant (6/5): - The service was good they were very polite. But the towels were very dingy , and th r tub was a little also, but not a bad area.
- Tim (2/5): - The bathroom was not clean or well maintained and the towels were the worst I have ever seen in any hotel or motel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Shop worn - Many better options in Statesboro in the same price range or cheaper.
- Angela (6/5): - Hotel was ok. Front desk was friendly. Over priced.
- Carlene (6/5): Ready to recommend - The room was very comfortable for the night's stay. It was conveniently located to get to Georgia Southern University where our daughter was graduating the following day. The front desk person was extremely courteous and helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very convenient to ga southern univ which is why we were there
- Imogene (2/5): Inferior facility and service and high price. - The rooms were not clean and we requested that the linens be changed, including the coverlet as they were unclean and something had been spilled on one of the beds. The faucet in the lavatory was faulty and barely worked. We were uncomfortable and concerned for our safety. Someone in the room next door had a large dog (pit bull) and it came into our room when we were getting settled in. There was an altercation in the parking lot just outside our room and the overall atmosphere was not conducive to a comfortable stay. The price was highly inflated, especially due to the poor quality of service received.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - the hotel was ok....the beds need to be updated felt like I was sleeping on the floor...the lady at the front desk was very friendly. Can tell that the hotel is older and still needs some updates to it.
- sandra (6/5): NOT BAD! VERY ACCOMMENDATING - The room was clean. I was a bit confused as to how beds were made, however the linen was clean. The maid just doesn't understand how to use a Duvet
- Courtney (2/5): Don't do it! - This hotel is horrible! It is not clean, they had both a king size bed and a full size bed in the same room. They also had regular comforters that I am sure they bought from Anna's Linens on the beds with dusters! I stayed here because my daughter and I attended the orientation at GA Southern right down the road. I will never stay here again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Patriot Inn - We had to stay here for Homecoming weekend of Georgia Southern. Clean and quiet. The bathroom could use a little updating but overall nice stay with nice staff. Thanks.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible - should be shut down!
- Lynn (6/5): Last minute... - I needed a hotel room at the last minute. Only a few rooms available. Was never asked if I wanted smoking or not and...got smoking. The staff gave me some room spray, but that wasn't enough. I bought one of my own and popped popcorn to try and get rid of some of the "smoker" smell....Live and learn.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel was a big disappointment. The room was dark, smelly and unkept. The furniture was WAY beyond the time for replacement. The curtains could not be closed without a gap. The carpet had a circular cut in it and was covered with a cheap rug that did NOT lay flat. This was extra dangerous considering this was a 'handicap' room. The breakfast was minimal. Overall it is amazing that this place passes ANY kind of inspections.
- Verified traveler (6/5): my comments - clean room
comp breakfast a bit disappointing
- Tay (6/5): No vacancy near campus - The hotel was ok for what I needed it for, (one night). The staff was very friendly. The motel was old and needs an update.
- Verified traveler (4/5): O.K. in a pinch - Stayed to attend Fall Family Weekend at GSU. Hotel was the only one with a reasonable rate for that weekend. Rooms needed some basic maintenance and better cleaning. Bedspreads were old, stained, and torn. Could not lock the doorknob lock and deadbolt lock at the same time, door did not close properly. Did not receive a receipt because the hotel printer had no toner.
- Samantha (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay. The employees three was great. Looking forward to visiting there again.
- Brandi (6/5): Decent place to rest at 3AM... - The customer service was great. The people were very nice there. Had been driving for 7 hours so at least we found a spot to lay our heads. We were grossed out by the beds, although comfortable, they had stains. There were no fitted sheets, just a sheet attempting to cover the bed. The bed issue could be solved by new sheets and a new comforter. I doubt I would choose this place again unless they do some updates.
- Chris (6/5): Quick Nap - We had a job to start at midnight so we checked in here for a quick nap before the job. Lady at front desk real nice, no problems checking in. The bed was harder than we like but it worked. When you flush the toilet the water makes a lot of noise don't know why.
- Bobby (2/5): Flies! - Yes, that's right. When I got into the room there were flies buzzing around. The room was unclean, I had to leave after 10 minutes to get another hotel.
- Tia Farley (10/5): - Friendly help the manager Debbie was great we will defiantly will return!!!
