No bars or restaurants close by but easy to get into main part/old town etc to eat and drink. For the price this is an excellent choice unless you are looking for luxury and extras ... in which case go to Paris or New York!!! ATM in hotel lobby was also a great thing. Kiev is a great city but take comfortable walking shoes ... I did 70 km in 4 days!

- Guest (10/5): - I was a little bit hesitant to book this place because of the bad reviews. However my room was massive with a amazing view of the city. I could see The Motherland Monument from my bed. Incredibly fast internet, only one thing they need to fix is the shower curtain. They just don’t have anything to block the water so when you are taking a shower entire bathroom is wet. Other than that I would definitely book this place again.

Loput sitten osasivat sanan tai kaksi. Sijainti oli hieman piilossa ja sivussa. Metrolle kuitenkin ihan kävelymatka, samoin esim. luolaluostarille.

- Enrique (8/5): Its a reasonable deal, I was happy - staff does indeed their best to help you. The hotel is not really in the center but you take the metro and you get there. The condition of the hotel is that from a hotel made 20 years ago ( I guess) I didn't mind, and I was happy!. The restaurant is a bit more expensive of what you will see on a normal restaurant on the streets. Wifi is good.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Would Definitely Stay Here Again.... - Staff friendly and helpful (particularly the female receptionists & restaurant staff), hotel clean and presentable (if the decor was a little dated). Would definitely stay here again if I return to Kiev. Was within walking distance for me of; The Monument to the Founders of Kiev (on the bank of the river Dnieper), The Motherland Monument and Kiev Pechersk Lavra (the Monastery of Caves), Shops, bars and most importantly of all coffee stalls/shops/cafes.

- Verified traveler (4/5): A éviter à tout prix ! - Hotel situé loin de tout! Même les taxis ne trouvent pas!!! On m'a laissé deux fois dans une rue au dessus, obligé de passer par un chantier public (et sur des planches) pour rejoindre l'hotel. Quartier PAS SUR la nuit!!! Petit déjeuné servi à partir de 9.00h... Ascenseur en panne pendant tout le séjour... Escalier pour monter dans les étages dans le noir (les ampoules étaient grillées)... Frigo de la chambre ne fonctionne pas... Climatisation provoquant des claquements (certainement dus à la dilatation ou contraction des tuyaux); mais pas de possibilité de dormir sans... le lit n'est pas fait le dimanche... Et des cafards dans certains coin...

The menu in the restaurant was written in Ukrainian or Russian but not English. the staff in the restaurant does not speak English. It was not pleasant experience for me in Kiev and Odessa in the same hotel
