Bien pour un passionné des trains mais pas pour y dormir Impossibilité de trouver l hôtel sans avoir demandé l aide d un taxi. Le lieu : sur le quai de la gare, train à quelques mètres. Vue sur la voie ferrée. L’accueil nous a rassuré en disant que le dernier train était à minuit mais a omis de nous dire que ça redémarrait des 4h. Impossible de fermer l’œil après un réveil en sursaut. Petit déjeuner pas top : brioche et autres sucreries sous plastique

- Brigitte (8/5): Angenehmer Ausgangsort, um Agrigent zu entdecken - Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral am 'centro historico' direkt im Bahnhof. Deshalb ist es auch nicht leicht, es zu finden. Wir mussten erst einen Einheimischen bemühen, der uns das Hotel zeigte. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, allerdings ist die Rezeption nie besetzt. Das Frühstück ist im Zimmer und ist recht spartanisch. Der Parkplatz ist direkt im Bahnhof und es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden, weil nur sehr wenige Züge verkehren. Deshalb ist es auch in der Nacht sehr ruhig, wobei der Blick aus dem Zimmer direkt auf die Gleise geht. Ein Hinweis, wie das Hotel zu finden ist, wäre sehr hilfreich gewesen.
- Isabel (6/5): En busca del ruidoso hotel - La habitación estaba limpia y la cama cómoda , pero se escuchaba el ruido como de un extractor que no pudimos apagar No había indicaciones para acceder al hotel,le preguntamos a una pareja de allí y no sabían tampoco...Al final llamamos al hotel y nos dijeron que estaba dentro de la estación de trenes!!

- Mauro (1/5): Più che un Hotel, sembra una camera sui binari! - Arrivati ad Agrigento in automobile presso la piazza di riferimento e non avendo trovato la struttura, abbiamo telefonato al gestore. Lo stesso ci indicava che l'entrata era posta all'interno della Stazione Ferroviaria, tramite un parcheggio a pagamento. Giunti sul posto vedevamo che l'Hotel era posto a non piu' di tre metri da un binario, dove partivano ed arrivavano treni a qualsiasi ora. Pensavamo che le camere fossero insonorizzate, ma purtroppo non è stato così: non abbiamo chiuso occhio in alcun modo, sia nel pomeriggio, sia di sera, e soprattutto la notte a seguito dei rumori dei treni in movimento e dei compressori dei treni fermi. La mattina, dopo aver contestato al gestore il grave problema, venivamo dirottati in un'altra camera, senza aver cambiato in alcun modo la situazione, poiché tutte le camere si affacciavano sui binari della stazione. E' la prima volta che ci capita un fatto del genere, infatti siamo stati ingannati da una fotografia della struttura dove appariva l'ingresso con a fianco una sede stradale e non il binario come è in realtà.

The modern remake of old train station rooms was clean and pleasing and the layout was surprisingly good. ven the parking worked out! - Luis (9/5): Hotel muy limpio en Agrigento de perfecta ubicación para viajeros que llegan en tren - El hotel está directamente dentro de la estación del tren. No molestan los ruidos de la estación. Habitaciones nuevas y muy pulcras . El hotel no ofrece desayuno pero sin embargo se preocuaron mucho sobre este aspecto y al llegar dispusimos de croissant, galletas, tostadas, pastelillos, mantequilla, mermelada, yogurt, leche en refrigeración . Además de cafe y té en la habitación. Por otro lado, tenía muy buena posibilidades de preparar la comida dentro de la habitación porque existía cocina eléctrica y ollas, sartenes, copas, vasos. Se preocuparon por todos los detalles No se dispone de personal estable en la noche. Felizmente no tuvimos problema alguno

- Daniel (7/5): Pour une étape de passage - Il s'agit de plusieurs petits appartements situés sur le quai même de la gare. On est donc réveillé tôt le matin par l'activité de la gare. Sinon l'hotel est bien situé, les chambres sont modernes et on se débrouille tout seul dans la kitchenette pour le petit déjeuner.
- Mark (8/5): Quirky and cute - We were not expecting the apartment to be actually on the platform so it was nice and easy once we got off the train. The apartment had obviously been updated as it was very modern and super clean and bright. The trains were not very noisy and didn't bother us at all. The apartment was quite small and the kitchen wasn't very well equipped. Tea bags were provided but there was no jug or kettle to boil water. There was a coffee machine in reception but it wasn't practical especially at night. After check in we saw no one in reception for the two nights we stayed. However there was a contact number if needed.

- Maria (1/5): Un hotel en la vía del tren en Agrigento - Nada Estaba situado encima de un andén del tren y el ruido de los trenes se despertaba a las 7 de la mañana. Se entraba por la estación del tren, yo me sentí estafada. El desayuno era bollería industrial en bolsas de plástico. Llamé a booking para protestar y el operador prácticamente le dio la razón al alojamiento considerando que ellos solamente son intermediarios y que tenía que haber leído bien la reseñas.Por supuesto había leído reseñas las primeras, y no ponían nada de esto. Ahora he visto que algo han cambiado en la descripción. Una vergüenza y una decepción.

Abbiamo viaggiato con due bimbi che erano meravigliati di affacciarsi alla finestra e vedere i treni. La struttura è abbastanza insonorizzata, quindi anche se vicina ai binari del treno, i rumori non sono fastidiosi.

- Karen (10/5): Hotel Agrigento Home, hotel on track 5 at the Train station - It was a great location for us as we are travelling through Italy by train. It felt safe and although it is in the train station, it is not overly noisy, we slept well. We found it a bit hard to find on Google maps. It is on track 5 at the station. I think this should be in the description.
- Francesco (9/5): UNA NOTTE IN STAZIONE - Si tratta di un'intelligente ed originale operazione di recupero edilizio, per cui il "fabbricato viaggiatori" della stazione Centrale di Agrigento (attenzione, ad Agrigento di stazioni ferroviarie ce ne sono due, questa è la stazione di testa cui termina la linea, l'altra è "Agrigento bassa") è stato ristrutturato internamente (l'esterno è rimasto quello tipico dell'architettura FS degli anni '30). Ne è quindi risultato un hotel anche se gestito con modalità simil-B&B. L'ingresso è presso il binario 5, accanto agli uffici della Polfer. Le camere sono dotate anche di cucina, frigo, ecc. per soggiorni più lunghi. La prima colazione non viene servita in apposita sala ma si trova già sul posto (= yoghurt, merendine e simili), mentre per caffè e tè si scende alla reception dove c'è apposita macchinetta a cialde. Pulizia ineccepibile, wi-fi stabile, i treni/altoparlante più di tanto non disturbano (si tratta solo di regionali, le notti trascorrono tranquille). Per l'auto si può far capo all'attiguo parcheggio "Pirandello" al costo di € 10,00 a notte, anche se con un po' di fortuna si può trovare posto nelle vie adiacenti alla stazione dove c'è la possibilità di parcheggio libero (no disco orario, no strisce blu). Osservazione costruttiva: la struttura è scarsamente individuabile (a meno di non sapere già che si può fare riferimento agli Uffici Polfer/binario 5). Se si arriva infatti sul Piazzale della stazione (Piazza Pirro Marconi) con zaino/trolley al seguito, non c'è alcuna indicazione, mentre invece bisogna scendere di due piani di scale/ascensore dal livello del fabbricato monumentale a quello dei binari; sarebbe quindi opportuno che tra la varia segnaletica presente all'ingresso ci fosse anche quella per l'Hotel Agrigento Home. Parcheggiando invece al "Pirandello", si è già allo stesso livello della struttura.

- CARLOS Rehermann (10/5): - Está a tres metros del andén 5 de la estación de tren, y a 50 metros de la parad de autobús para ir al parque arqueológico. Las ventanas dan a las vías, pero hay muy pocos trenes por día y son muy silenciosos: no hay ningún ruido molesto. Como los andenes son al aire libre, la vista es un paisaje arbolado y abierto. El ruido más fuerte es el de los estorninos cada tarde. El centro de la ciudad es muy cerca, aunque no tiene nada muy interesante; lo que vale es el parque arqueológico. No tiene nada negativo.

Debe destacarse que el apartamento está sobre el andén número 5 de la estación de trenes.

- Gerardino (10/5): Äußerst freundlicher Empfang, sauberes Zimmer und angenehmer Aufenthalt. - Wir sind am Anreisetag leider später angekommen, als der Check-in erlaubt war. Die Rezeption war jedoch äußerst zuvorkommend und hat freundlicherweise bis 21:30 Uhr auf uns gewartet. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich und verdient ein großes Kompliment – Chapeau! Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Wir hatten mehr als genug Platz und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein kleiner Hinweis – keine Kritik, sondern lediglich eine Anmerkung: Die Züge sind leicht zu hören, wenn sie im Bahnhof stehen, plötzlich ein Geräusch entsteht, das an ein lautes Luftablassen erinnert. Das Einfahren selbst ist aber nicht störend.

- Monique (8/5): Aanrader! - Leuke aparte locatie bij / op het station. Goede kamer. Heel vriendelijke host! Het nadeel van de leuke locatie is dat je de airco moet gebruiken. Wil je met de ramen open slapen dan kun je wakker worden van het vertrek van de vroege trein.

Finestre che davano sul binario del treno, Sveglia alle 5 di mattina con sbuffi del treno sottostante. Bagno da pulire con più cura.

- Neill (9/5): Staying in a railway station. - The convenient location. Nearby parking. Spacious apartment. Tasty little breakfast. Air conditioning takes a long time to cool the apartment. Lack of an electric kettle. Shower is too small.

Al estar dentro de la propia estación de trenes hay ruido. Además el aire acondicionado de la habitación no funcionaba muy allá.

Corridoio lunghissimo e senza finestre. Consiglio alle persone claustrofobiche di chiedere una stanza in prossimità di scale / ascensore

- Niamh (6/5): Noisy. - Room was spacious and location (apart of the fact it is in the train station) was central. As the hotel is situated in the train station it is extremely noisy. The trains stop around midnight and start again around 0530/6 and it’s incredibly noisy. No effort being made to double glaze windows etc to block out noise. When we arrived, we had no toiletries. I had to go and ask at reception for soap etc. When room was cleaned, replacements only provided once. Hence lack of soap etc and needing to keep asking for the essentials. AC was not working correctly, asked at reception about this and was told it would be looked at but heard nothing after that and AC was not fixed.
- FDR_travel (8/5): - Position in Agrigento is very strategic, the parking facility, and rooms are well equipped for a short stay. If you forget to use the earplugs, you might wake up early to the noise from the train.

- Johan (8/5): - Clean and had all we needed. In old town with good restaurants within easy walking distance Not much. It is located on the station next to the railway lines. So trains could be a bit noisy and may put dome people off. It has character though. It was just difficult to find as it is not clear it is part of the railway station and not next to it.

- Corinna (10/5): Non fatevi ingannare dal fatto che questo Hotel sia all'interno dl sito della stazione.è perfettamente insonorizzato - Pulitissimo, moderno, funzionale e comodissimo perché si trova in posizione strategica in città. Diego è gentilissimo, disponibile e professionale. Anche Alessandro al bar del binario 5 è simpatico e cortese. Bravi ragazzi! La possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto nell'adiacente parcheggio Pirandello è un'altra comodità. Sicuramente un posto da consigliare 🤩 Nulla. Tutto top.
- Georgia (7/5): Nice Hotel in agrigento - The hotel room was spacious and clean . The breakfast was basic but for the price was nice touch ! The hotel seems that was recently renovated and the staff were very polite . The hotel is located inside the train station of agrigento with all rooms facing the train platforms. This wasn’t very clear in the description. During the night it was super safe to move in and out of the station, however the first train was early in the morning, so we woke up at 5 am once the train engines were on.
