- Hayette (10/5): Séjour exceptionnel avec un personnel incroyable, une superbe ambiance et un magnifique spot de snorkeling ❤️ - Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans ce resort et nous reviendrons sans hésiter 🙏 Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été incroyable avec une très bonne odeur de oud dans le lobby et un personnel aux petits soins. Tout le staff est adorable, souriant et toujours prêt à aider. Mention spéciale à Ayman qui nous a accompagnés via WhatsApp durant tout le séjour et qui a répondu à toutes nos demandes avec énormément de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. L’hôtel est magnifique, très grand, spacieux et très bien entretenu avec de beaux espaces partout. La propreté est irréprochable ==> tout est constamment nettoyé et il y a toujours du personnel qui passe pour entretenir les lieux. On ressent un vrai sentiment de confort et de sécurité tout au long du séjour. Les petites maisonnettes autour des piscines pour les snacks et boissons sont très bien pensées et le personnel y est très agréable. Les repas étaient variés et vraiment très bons. Le personnel du restaurant, les cuisiniers ainsi que les serveurs étaient tous extrêmement gentils et attentifs. L’équipe d’animation mérite également une mention spéciale ==> super sympathique, motivée avec des animations variées et une ambiance incroyable du matin au soir. Impossible de s’ennuyer ! L’accès à la plage est excellent et le snorkeling directement depuis l’hôtel est un énorme plus. Les coraux et poissons sont magnifiques. Le ponton permettant d’aller nager directement avec les poissons est vraiment génial. Pensez simplement à prendre des chaussures d’eau ainsi que masque et tuba. Le personnel de chambre était également adorable et toujours attentionné. Nous avons adoré notre séjour du début à la fin et nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation. Honnêtement rien de particulier … tout était excellent 😍

- Joao (4/5): Very Disappointing for a supposedly 5 stars hotel - The rooms are spacious and comfortable, however some may need some maintenance as some tear can be seen in many places. Pool area and beach are quite nice, but if you are looking for sandy beach this will not be the place for you. If you want to dive in the sea you will need to go for a walk in the jetty. Hotel offers 2 à la carte restaurants which were much better than the buffet restaurant! First and foremost, this is not a 5 stars all-inclusive hotel, you will most likely feel you are on cheap 4 stars full board with bad quality food and drinks. It simply but does not meet the quality, service level or customer experience standards of a 5 stars hotel. Hotel imposes time schedules everywhere, but they don´t stick to their own defined schedules. Pool is supposed to close at 18, which is a bit early, however by 17:30 everything is put away. It doesn´t matter if a guest is using an umbrella for shadowing and pool is supposed to close 30mins later, you will get sun in your face no matter what. You really feel unwelcome and pushed to move away from the pool area. Also, you might try to have a drink in the pool bar, which will also close earlier than 18h, where you will be served in cheap paper cups because they don´t really care about quality standards or guest experience. Hotel management will most likely try to convince you that it was one time only, but you will see it repeatedly. On another occasion, no water bottles were available at the beach bar, but don´t worry you can get another cheap paper cup with some crappy soda while you wait for 1 or 2 hours for a proper bottle of water. The food buffet is okay, with variety, but not top notch. Also, the buffet beverages area had a continuously rotten smell. If you want to grab a snack during the day, prepare yourself for fries and greasy food. The lounge bar is open 24/7, but after dinner if you want any beverages, you need to stand up and get them by yourself at the bar counter. Or wait until dawn. Absolutely 5stars level... We asked for a late checkout, as our flight was late in the evening, the cost was around 100$ to keep our room. Since we did not accept the charge, hotel was nice to provide another room for a shower. The surprise comes when you get into an unclean room, with previous guest towels on the floor and used toiletries. Despite all great reviews from other guests that you may read, one

- Zsolt (10/5): Nagyon szép szálloda kiváló elhelyezkedéssel - Nagyon szép szálloda, tágas és kényelmes szobák. Az ételek egyiptomi viszonylatban finomak és változatosak, minden étkezésnél hatalmas a választék. A szálloda lobby bárjában nagyon finom kávét készítenek. A személyzet barátságos és nagyon figyelmes. A parton 30 percet sétálva északi irányban már teljesen homokos a lassan mélyülő part, és akkor sincsenek hullámok, amikor a saját szállodánk előtt nagyon fúj a szél, érdemes odáig elmenni. Minden rendben volt, első nap a medencékre nézett a szobánk, és kora reggeltől már szólt a zene, kértünk szobacserét a csendesebb oldalra, kérésünket azonnal teljesítették, külön köszönet érte!
- Ana (6/5): Overall experience: far from a 5-star standard hotel (service) - 1. Facilities and rooms The facilities are good, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool area is very nice and the outside is lovely (space, Palm trees, wood paths and bridges, lakes) 1. À la carte restaurants The two complimentary reservation-based restaurants (Mexican and Italian) were good and were among the highlights of our stay. 3. You don't need to stick to the hotel night shows , you can easily walk on the beach avenue , visiting other hotels or just walk parallel to the beach . Also doable by renting a golf cart. I’m sharing this review because I would have appreciated reading these details before booking. In our experience, this did not feel like a true 5-star hotel compared with international brands. • Service often felt dependent on tips; friendliness and attention noticeably improved afterward. • Communication was difficult as many staff members had limited English. • Service quality was inconsistent: drinks varied greatly between bars, beer was sometimes served in paper cups, and cocktails felt very artificial. Fresh-fruit options required extra payment. • Wi-Fi was almost unusable (around 0.8 Mbps); we had to pay extra for “faster” internet (10mb). • Pool/beach operating hours were inconsistent, with facilities closing earlier than stated. • Part of the restaurant was under maintenance without prior notice. • The hotel schedule felt restrictive, with very limited options available between 18:00–19:00. • We did not really enjoy the buffet quality and several of us experienced stomach issues during the stay (although I cannot confirm the cause). • Front-row beach beds cost an additional $20. Staff immediately ask guests to leave if they sit there without paying, while other aspects such as beach cleanliness seemed to receive less attention. The reefs are beautiful, but if you prefer sandy beaches, Hurghada or Soma Bay may be a better option. Overall, many small details combined made the experience feel below a true 5-star standard, especially regarding service. Note: We noticed that guests were often encouraged to leave reviews while staff were standing nearby, which may influence ratings.

- Laetitia (9/5): Super séjour, nous recommandons cet hôtel - Très bel hôtel, chambres spacieuses et confortables. La nourriture est variée et très bonne, il y a énormément de choix à tous les repas. Le personnel est aimable et très attentionné. La plage de l'hôtel est jolie mais il n'y a pas beaucoup de profondeur notamment à marée basse, mais nous avons pu voir des raies à quelques mètres de la plage. Le gros point positif est le ponton avec accès à 2 spots de snorkeling dont l'un assez profond avec des coraux et des poissons magnifiques. Le seul petit point négatif concerne les horaires d'ouverture du spot de snorkeling au bout du ponton, il n'est possible d'y accéder seulement 2h le matin et 2h l'après-midi. Par contre le plus petit spot est accessible toute la journée.

- Osama Amer (10/5): Generous staff, beautiful beach and great experience - This was our second visit after nine years, and it was truly impressive to see the resort maintaining such high standards across all aspects. The staff were extremely helpful, always providing support with genuine warmth and a smile. We were especially happy to meet Mr. Ayman Atia again, who surprisingly remembered us after all those years. Mr. Ayman checked on us daily and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. He provided us with all the support we needed, including arranging a wheelchair and booking a complimentary dinner at the Italian restaurant. Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. The beach is something you should absolutely not miss, along with the diving experience and the sunset golf cart tour. Last but not least, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Ali from the Italian restaurant for his warm reception, kindness, and generosity. We would have enjoyed even more if we had full board instead of half board.

The food was excellent and varied. The place is spacious, and you can always find a spot by the sea, the pool, or the restaurant. The kids’ club was lovely, and my children enjoyed going there. The entertainment was great, with shows for both kids and adults every day. I think the room needs renovation. The network connection is poor in the room.

La seule chose que je dirais un peu chiante, c’est le gens qui viennent dans l’enceinte de l’hôtel pour nous vendre des choses ou des prestations, comme j’ai eu un monsieur qui est venu pour essayer de me vendre une prestation pour une épilation et il m’a touché sans me demander, on a beau lui dire non il continue et au moment où on commence à se répéter et dire 5-6 fois de suite, il s’énerve et part et dit: toujours non toujours non en jurant dieu, je trouve ça juste inacceptable. C’est une personne du spa la perle, il s’occupe de faire le sourcils et le coiffure de cheveux.

- Bianka Szabina (10/5): Wieder einmal ein perfekter Urlaub im Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh - Wir waren bereits zum siebten Mal im Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh – und meine Mutter sogar schon zum zwölften Mal – und es fühlt sich jedes Mal aufs Neue wie ein zweites Zuhause an. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir wieder herzlich empfangen, was direkt für einen perfekten Start in unseren Aufenthalt gesorgt hat. Ein riesen Dankeschön an die Front Office Mitarbeitern und Manager für den Empfang und für alle die Bemühungen vor und während unserem Aufenthalt. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass unser Zimmerwunsch wie immer berücksichtigt wurde. Als wiederkehrende Gäste fühlt man sich hier wirklich wertgeschätzt. Das gesamte Team ist durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – genau das, was man sich für einen entspannten Urlaub wünscht. Das Essen war erneut hervorragend: sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Danke an das gesamten Team im Restaurant, in der Bars und in der Küche. Alle sind sehr bemüht, den Urlaub perfekt zu machen. Das Hotel und die gesamte Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön möchten wir an das Housekeeping (Hazem) aussprechen. Unser Zimmer war stets makellos gereinigt, und seine liebevollen Handtuch-Kreationen haben unseren Töchtern jeden Tag ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert. Auch die Shows am Abend waren sehr unterhaltsam und haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

I have been on many holidays which claim to be 5* and all inclusive but this resort truly is. The rooms are maintained to an exceptionally high standard and you want for nothing. The food is absolutely first class, there is no feeling of 'sameness' each day, everything is completely fresh and great quality. I never felt like I had to 'make do' and could always have 3 good meals every day. It is clear that all the staff are totally professional and do everything possible to make your stay the very best it can be. The lobby bar is a truly 24hr bar which is unusual for most hotels claiming to be all inclusive. The only minor criticism some people may have (and it is minor) is that it is a bit secluded, there's nowhere that you could really go for a stroll outside of the hotel. This did not particularly bother me, as a solo traveller I was perfectly happy to stay on site. Not too much of the sunbed wars going on, just a few random fools who felt it necessary to put towels on beds at 2am but there really was no need. I would definitely recommend this to guests of all ages as well as those with children. Most definitely worth a visit and well worth the money. My congratulations and thanks to all the staff.

- BeeB_12 (8/5): Missed your best staff - I love the Tropitel, it has been a while since I went maybe 3 years ago, and I was so looking forward to the cool chill out beach barman, Ali. This guy could remember your drink from the first time you ordered, he made my bereavement solo trip so much more bearable as he recommended things to do in the hotel, encouraged me to get massages from the massage team and he helped me to ask the right managers questions, when I needed help. Somehow, as you have lost a valuable assist to your hotel, it is not always about the location, as Sahl Hasheesh is far from the centre of town. It was really nice to go somewhere and feel safe. He never asked or waited for a tip, I used to talk to him and he was friendly but always looked out for the older couples too. He was a genuine nice, young professional barman.I saw him help out staff too during Ramadan a few years ago. Managers, if I were you I would get him back, because he made your hotel. Room cleanliness was still good. Food was not great, although the staff were mostly lovely, there is a questionable manager, who appears to treat his staff like they are below him, not impressed at all with that. The chill out pool was okay, but Ali was sorely missed. Please don't drop your best staff for no reason. I loved going to the fragrance man but the shops are highly overpriced in the hotel. Improve the beach a bit which it is easy by having more spaces to stop the winds. I would have recommended Tropitel to my 16 person party coming to Egypt in May but now, Ali is not there, we will stay somewhere else. Still like the Tropitel, but please retain good staff, get Ali back. We have 3 more trips back to Egypt, we would love to stay at the Tropitel again, at the chill out pool with Ali. - Dudley160 (6/5): Week away - Came to this hotel after a recommendation . The hotel itself was spotless and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive, from the pool staff by the adult’s pool, to the bar staff in Mermaids. Didn’t really go to the lobby bar, so couldn’t comment too much, but everyone we came across was friendly. The meals during the day from breakfast to dinner, I thought, were more than adequate. The only thing for me, was they wasn’t hot enough . Unless you had it cooked right in front of you. The drinks, that’s another story, really awful, from flat beer to shocking spirits. Small measures of wine and spirits, to unfizzy mixers. Not enjoyable. The room we had was large and comfortable, no complaints there. Overall, we had a good time and a nice break, but definitely room for improvement in the drink and food department.
- Melanie (9/5): - Schöne grüne Hotelanlage, von der Größe her leicht überschaubar und gemütlich. Strand ist sehr schön, sogar am Ufer konnte man Blaupunktrochen und Muränen beobachten. Essen ist sehr gut, wir haben alles gegessen und hatten das erste Mal keine Probleme mit Magen-Darm-Erkrankung! Und ich bin sehr empfindlich muss ich noch dazu sagen! Hier passt die Qualität zusammen! Keine grossen Wege zu den Pools. Die Pools sind Ende März/ Anfang April auf ca 29-30 Grad beheizt! Ein großer Pluspunkt! Animation ist nicht laut und auch nicht aufdringlich! Am Abend eher eine ruhige Hotelanlage. Spezialitäten Restaurants sund Spitze... Am besten war der Mexikaner und der Inder.... Geschmacklich sehr authentisch Bei der Abreise ist 12 Uhr Check-out, uns wurde das Zimmer kostenlos bis 13 Uhr gegeben. Funde ich auch sehr entgegenkommend. Sogar ein Lunch Paket wurde uns für die Heimreise hergerichtet. Wir empfehlen auch ein Privattaxi ( habe ich auch bei Booking.com gebucht um 22€ hin und retour vom Flughafen für 4 Personen) waren von der Landung in Hrg bis im Hotel in 1 Stunde 19 min da! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ;-) Zimmer sind renovierungsbedüftig (Bad) aber sonst sehr sauber. Die Reinigungskräfte sind sehr bemüht und fragen auch immer tgl nach, ob wir noch was benötigen. An der Beach Bar wäre schön, wenn vlt noch eine kleine Reihe an Kuchen für den Nachmittag Kaffee bereit steht.

We returned after 10 years now with our grandsons and we alk had an amazing week. Chose a family suite in number 2016 and Mohammed kept it amazing. Chefs were wonderful, service staff fantastic, pool guys and lagoon team fantastic. We all can't wait to come back.

- tuppence78 (8/5): GOOD BUT COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER - This review is honest and based on my own personal opinion. We arrived at the Tropitel on 25th Feb for a 4 week stay. The reception area is lovely and we were quickly booked in and shown to our room 4018. I had emailed guest relations before leaving asking for a high room overlooking the swim up bar, and this was exactly what we got, Thankyou. The room was of a good, clean standard. Comfortable bed and pillows. The grounds are stunning and a pleasure to walk through. The beach area was good and kept clean. The loungers on the beach are not the most comfortable, especially for older guests like ourselves. We asked for a mattress but only one was available and another guest was using it. Maybe an area that needs addressed as my husband ended up with a very bad back. The toilets on the beach are kept meticulously clean by Mohammed. There are several bars around the beach and pools including a flume area for children and an adult only area for a quieter day for adults. Our first 2 weeks the bars were constantly running out of most beverages but this was addressed by Naomi at guest relations and Sherriff the food and beverage manager so things did improve with managements presence. If you have any issues go to Guest Relations and see Naomi she is British and makes sure guests issues are dealt with promptly, 5 stars Naomi!! They have 4 A La Carte restaurants which you may use 3 times a week one of which, comes with a charge, the Turkish. The Mexican and the Indian was superb but unfortunately I found the Italian very poor. The main buffet restaurants the Palms and the Waves, for me, was good for breakfast and lunch. Fresh salmon served some mornings was exceptional, but I found the evening meal very poor. Very little choice, tasteless, dried up and lukewarm. Sorry Tropitel, I just found it poor, no variety and the same most nights. Service was good and tables cleared promptly. Tropitel have an amazing entertainment team, actually the best I have experienced in Egypt. They interact with all guests and are very friendly and full of fun. LUBA was the star of the show for us!! She asked our names on day one and didn’t forget, she came and spoke every day. NOW for us personally, I found the entertainment, early evening, poor and boring. We came down every evening to the lobby bar and was unable to get a seat. The first 2 weeks there was a gentleman and lady playing classical music on a piano which is not to our taste. But I understand guests want to mingle and chat! Instead we went upstairs to the Mermaid Bar! LIVE MUSIC we thought!! Well this was just as bad! The instrumental music wasn’t too bad, but the singers 🙈 were very poor. Trying to listen to poor, slow, boring music with children running in front of the stage screaming is NOT my idea of fun. It was also extremely cold as there is no roof in this bar. Osama, it may be winter, but guests are on holiday to enjoy themselves. Something a little more upbeat needed. I can’t comment on the shows in an evening because we only watched one, but it was good and entertaining. On a Monday afternoon, on the beach, they have a fruit festival with a saxophonist and Cuban dancers. NOW this is what I call entertainment!! Absolutely fantastic!! This memory will last with me for a long long time 5 stars 🌟 Before ending my review the staff are amazing at this hotel and there guests are there utmost priority! Abdullah, Mansour on pool area Saad and Kerlass on lobby bar provide 5 star service, exceptional staff, Abdallah deserves a promotion, I’ve never seen anyone work so hard. I would definitely return to Tropitel and would recommend it to others it’s a very good hotel but several areas need to improve.

Auch für die Massagen wird ein sehr hoher Preis verlangt. Deshalb habe ich sie über Get your Guide gebucht.

I would like to give a special shout-out to our housekeeper Mohamed for the incredible job. Every day the room 5083 was perfectly clean, but the creative towel decorations and the hearts on the bed (like in the photo) really made our holiday special. Such a warm and professional person! - 711georgianap (4/5): DISAPPOINTED - +PRO: A wonderful view, cleanliness, and mostly friendly and attentive staff, especially in the restaurants, on the beach, and even in the restrooms. -CONTRA: The pillows were very hard; I couldn’t rest at all. As for the food, we didn’t always have many options to choose from, at least not for our tastes. We expected something better, more diverse, and perhaps more chicken than beef (I’m pregnant and avoid certain meats like beef, fish, etc.). There were activities, but they were quite weak. The best ones were with the professional dancers; we also caught a very interesting Egyptian show. What really upset me was that I went to the reception and asked for help to borrow a birthday candle, since on our last day—when we were leaving—it was my husband’s birthday. I didn’t want anything organized, just a candle to put on a cake myself. In the morning, a very kind staff member said he would look for one and asked me to come back around 9. I returned at 9, but there were different staff members at the reception. I told them I had spoken earlier about a small candle, and they redirected me to the information center. Very rude and unprofessional—I would have liked to make the last day a pleasant memory. That’s why I will give a low rating; this gesture weighed heavily for me.
- ianmT5805YB (10/5): excellent hotel - I have recently returned from a two week stay in the Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh and can honestly say it's one of the best hotels in Egypt that we have stayed in . The service was excellent in all areas , particularly the room cleaning, where Alauddin kept our room spotless and was always very helpful and couldn't do enough for us.The service in both the bars and restaurants was also of a high standard and we enjoyed the a la carte as well as the buffet restaurant. Special mention to Muhammad and the other bar staff in both the Lobby Bar and Beach bar.The pool area was well maintained with plenty sun loungers and the gardens were beautifully tended.Overall a great holiday and will definitely return.

- W6847MWmias (10/5): Amazing!!! - I wasn’t really expecting much when I booked this place, but it actually surprised me in a good way. The first thing I noticed was how genuinely nice the staff were not the forced “hotel polite,” just normal, helpful people who made things easy. The room itself was really clean and felt fresh, not one of those places that looks clean but doesn’t feel it. The bed was super comfortable (which matters more than anything to me), and I slept properly every night. Also, no random noise at night which is rare. One thing I liked was how everything just worked, no issues with hot water, AC, WiFi, nothing. It sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get that wrong. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it doesn’t try to be, it just does everything right and makes your stay easy. I’d 100% stay here again without overthinking it.

- Anna (9/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo resort per 10 giorni, siamo state veramente molto bene. Personale molto gentile e accogliente, ci hanno aiutato in ogni modo. La barriera corallina del resort è bellissima. Ovviamente per noi italiani il cibo è importante. Il ristorante ogni giorno aveva molte varietà di piatti, ma purtroppo era difficile trovare qualcosa che fosse poco speziato. Ma il personale ha provato in ogni modo a soddisfare i nostri gusti.

- Geza (10/5): - This was may second stay in Tropitel and for sure I will visit again. The reception of the guests was very professional, welcome drink, quick check-in, introduction of the guest representative. The room is large enough and well equipped, the pool is heated. You can snorkel by walking into the sea from the pier. You can sign up for a program that changes every hour with the animators, they satisfy the most diverse needs. The all-inclusive meal is extremely varied, the emphasis is on a different dish every day. (lamb, beef, crab, chicken, fish, etc.) The service staff is very attentive, they fulfill all requests quickly. I gained 2 kilos from eating too much delicious food :) If you want to sleep early better you forget it - evening music dont let you.

I like the long beach, there are some great spots for snorkeling or free diving. Solid buffet too. The water in the heated pool can get a little cloudy for my taste. The coffee machines were not the best. The beach directly in front of the hotel does not have a convenient direct entry. But the natural pool at the end of the pier is nice.

- Melinda (10/5): Kiemelkedően kedves személyzet, nagyon változatos finom étel kínálat, szép tengerszakasz. - A szálloda teljesen megfelelt az elvárásainknak, jó elhelyezkedés, tágas szobák, változatos ételkínálattal, minden nap volt valami újdonság és nagyon finom. A teljes személyzet rendkívül kedves és figyelmes volt, de kiemelném Mansour és Kahled pultosokat a csúszdás medencénél, egész nap mosolyogtak és készségesen álltak rendelkezésre még a nap végén is. A szobánk tisztaságáért Hassim volt felelős, ő is nagyon figyelmes volt. A masszázs árak túl magasak, kb drágább volt mint idehaza, és dupla annyi mint előző szállodába, ahol voltunk.

A votre arrivée vous êtes très bien accueilli et on vous propose d'installer l'application de l'hôtel pour gérer les réservations de restaurant et également s'il y a des besoins complémentaires ou autres pendant le séjour. C'est top Les chambres sont très spacieuse et le soir calme. Les piscines très agréables et le personnel au top, souriant et serviables. J'ai été particulièrement surpris par la qualité des repas du petit déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner. Varié et très goûteux. J'avoue que j'avais une appréhension mais j'ai totalement été surpris, je me suis régalé 😋. Les restaurants "à la carte" compris dans la formule sont également délicieux, les plats sont vraiment à l'image de la spécialité indiqué. En gros je recommande vraiment cet hotel si vous cherchez un très bon rapport qualité prix Les cocktails.... vraiment pas top. C'est des bouteilles d'alcool spécial hôtel "all in" et vraiment l'impression d'avoir tous les mêmes goûts et vraiment pas la sensation d'alcool dans les cocktails.. Pour avoir du "vrai" alcool, il faut payer supplément mais je n'ai pas testé car je ne savais pas si ça allait être vraiment bon ou pas.

Walkways to the beach not good - rutted and a trip hazard difficult for people to negotiate Only 2 disabled toilets, one in the lobby and one at the beach. The bars ran out of alcohol/beer several times during our stay.
