• Söderhielm (1/5): - Lurade oss på pengar. Vi bad om att få checka ut två dagar tidigare och frågade om vi kunde få pengarna tillbaka. Det var inga problem sa personalen om vi kontaktade booking, vilket vi gjorde. De sa sedan att de hade varit i kontakt med booking och godkänt vår förfrågan, vilket de ljög om. När jag försöker få tag på dem nu i efterhand så ignorerar de mina meddelanden.
• Sofia (4/5): I got robbed cash from inside the room - The rooms were nice and clean. Location was good I got robbed all the cash I had from my luggage that was with a lock. When I arrived to the room the lock was missing. When informed the Owner, she claimed she interrogated staff with police and nobody confessed anything. Staff from hotel was not helful, the reception is not 24 hours.

• Anna (8/5): This is a great hotel to stay at located in the middle of the island, walkable to the beach/restaurants/bars and - The staff and owner working here were so friendly and helpful. They helped us hire bikes and navigate around the island. We had breakfast here one day which was good. We had a good, spacious room with a lovely view over the pool and palm trees. The breakfast was slightly overpriced compared to other restaurants close by. The pool could do with several clean ups per day as although it was cleaned daily, it had many bugs.

• Nele (9/5): Lovely stay - The location, big comfortable rooms, the pool and garden and smailing staff The breakfast was mediocre, our teenager children were still hungry after eating, although we asked (and were given second portions). So we decided to have breakfast at Ann’s place nearby.
• David (10/5): Krásný hotel v klidné části Lanty. Měli jsme rezervovanou chatku, která se nacházela v krásné zahradě. V okolí plno rest - Hezky zařízené apartmány umístěné v klidné zahradě. Bazén by čistý, snídaně dobré. Na recepci nám pomohli se zařízením transferu a byli moc milí.

Hieman pettymys että annettu ränsistyä, liian kallis nykyään. Suihku huono ja ihme virityksiä.. Siivous melko kehno ja ajat mitä sattuu.. Aamupala kehno ja kallis myös.

Nous avons du quitter l’établissement avant la fin de notre séjour et devoir prendre un autre hôtel pour la fin du séjour donc frais supplémentaires. Le personnel était gentil, on voyait qu’ils étaient embêtés mais nous avions réserves 2 chambres car nous étions 4. Problèmes d’eau dans les 2 chambres pas d’eau chaude pas de pression 1er soir dans notre chambre pas d’eau du tout et le lendemain elle coulait jaune. Les équipements étaient vétustes, les chambres n’étaient pas propre et nous avions les serviettes de bains qui avaient une odeur assez forte.

• Marianne (5/5): Ruime kamers, schoonmaak laat te wensen over. - Kamer was ruim. Afgesloten ruimte voor de slaapkamer. Hotel ligt ver genoeg van de weg voor een rustige ligging. Als je een stukje langs een drukke wegloopt dan kun je daarna overtekenen via het strand verder lopen. Het strand is een mooi stuk strand met veel goede restaurants. Bij aankomst op de kamer was de toilet niet schoon. Dit gemeld: Er kwamen gelijk 3 schoonmakers en de eigenaresse. De eerste schoonmaakster zei dat het toilet toch schoon was. Ik moest aanwijzen waar het bloedspoor van de vorige gasten langs de toilet droop. toen pas werd het opgemerkt. Niet erg nauwkeurig. Raam in de badkamer was duidelijk aan vervanging toe, was afgeplakt. De randen van de doucheruimte waren niet goed schoon. Tijdens ons verblijf werden de bedden opgemaakt en de vuilnisbakken geleegd maar niks schoongemaakt. De meneer bij de receptie werkt hier zijn eerste seizoen. erg chaotisch, wilde graag helpen maar daar was hij niet toe instaat. Doordat hij van weinig op de hoogte was. Hij maakte vreemde opmerkingen/grapjes. Bij aankomst was hij erg opdringerig met het verkopen van excursies en scooter verhuur. De prijs van het ontbijt bleek bij uitchecken hoger te zijn dan vooraf aangegven. Een keuken maar geen keukenbenodigdheden als borden, bestek of kommen of pannen.

• darren (1/5): - It's hard to like anything about the hotel and thats the truth. I didn't like anything about the place. We got over charged on a motor bike as soon as we got there and found out after by the manger her self that one of her staff scammed and charged more. We had originally booked to stay for a week and it cost 32000 baht and we had to leave the next day due to an emergency and they couldn't even corporate with us and give some sort of refund, instead they ignored us and charged us 32000 baht for one night. The room stinks of damp, Television didn't work either and the location was shocking. Definitely the worst hotel iv stayed in, in Thailand for sure. I don't recommend!
• Briony (10/5): Lovely stay in koh lanta - close to amenities and very good value for money - Very attentive staff, nothing too much trouble. Very accommodating. Rooms cleaned everyday as requested, nothing too much trouble. The owner even collected ice creams for our children so we didnt have to walk far.

Le personnel est absent, personne à la réception, le matin personne pour le petit déjeuner alors qu’il est payé. Un endroit très sale, les robinets qui bougent, la fenêtre de la salle de bain qui était cassé, une odeur de poussière, et le comble des fourmis rouges partout dans la chambre !! Mon ami s’est réveillé en pleine nuit avec plein de fourmis rouges partout sur lui, ça grouiller les murs ! Le personnel n’a rien fait ! Aucun geste commercial !

The location was okay; several restaurant options nearby and it was also possible to catch a ride and visit nearby villages and the walking market. Some facilities could use renovation, but everything works so this is not a major issue.

• Kris (7/5): Nice stay in nice simple hotel - Small hotel, with nice pool and nice, quiet area. Ideal for few nights for people who loves silence :) no music, no loud tourists, no noizz. Location not in the center, but close to any bars, restaurants, etc. If you have a car or motorbike, location is good, as it is middle of island. First impression is not very positive, but after few days opinon is changed. Hotel is not new, so any repairs are needed, but in total everithing is OK. Staff is not speaking English very well, but it is so easy to comunicate with them anyway :) Breakfast are prepared by the staff on request, delivered to the table or to the room (!), but menu is very simple and bored and portions are not so big. For us it was OK as very fast we can think about any lunch in local restaurants close to the beaches :)) On the begining I saw every irritating detail in the hotel, but day by day it hadnt any influence on our stay. First 2 days the waiting time for the breakfast were too long, but then we manager, how to order it in a little advance and then it was ok. Finally positive!! ... but there are some things which can be better.

• Jeffrey (8/5): Lovely rooms by a pool in a great location - The beds were lovely and they overlooked the pool. The staff were great and the lady that cooks breakfast was an angel. There were pools towels and easy to lay by the pool. Location was just across the road about 200m from the beach The pool surface had lots of insects and bugs which if they were scooped regularly would just make it feel a little less dirty. You would worry about swallowing a dead wasp or something. I know it is hard to keep all bugs out of a pool but a regular sweep with a net would be better

Extra thanks to the owner Chris and his wife for arranging a cake for my son’s birthday. The staff are friendly but speak very little English, making communication difficult. The pool had way too much chlorine. Too few staff while we stayed and the service for food and drinks was slow and a little stressful due to the language barrier. But overall we enjoyed our stay, the above issues are minor and easily fixed

• Rosie (8/5): Lovely hotel, friendly bar staff and reception - Swim up bar was brilliant, the lovely staff brought us Christmas hats and biscuits on Christmas Eve! Lodge was lovely and big bathroom. The pool when we arrived was dirty and had bugs in it. The big boss was very loud and rude to his staff members on Christmas Day.

The walk in shower had no hot water and was quite slippery. Shower over a bath with hot water but no curtain or screen. There are a lot of steps as the resort is on a hill.

The pool area is lovely and enjoyed sitting at the pool bar. They helped with tours and arranged pickup and such. Also really helpful when one of us hurt ourselves. Rooms were nice, bed was comfy and they gave us extra pillows when we asked. The rooms could use a little love as they are a little tired. Although this didn’t bother us, it might others.

Restaurants and 7-11 walkable. Super nice staff and cleaning every day. Really nice pool. There was a cockroach problem. While I don’t really mind those, it might scare others off. There was cockroach ***t in every cabinet and also on the walls. Some encounters during the night. While the rooms were cleaned, they weren’t really deeply cleaned which probably resulted in the insect situation.

• Ricardo (9/5): Excelente value for the money!! - Staff was very nice and helpful. We rented motorcycles at the hotel. Best beach around is NUI Beach! Really really nice! Rooms are huge, with a kitchenette, huge restroom. Nice swimming pool too. Highly recommended!!! Location is waking distance from 7-11 and restaurants. However, it feels isolated, on a wide street with no sidewalks. There are other nicer locations on the island. Breakfast could be better.
