Carlos (8/5): - Room was comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and host even carried my heavy bag upstairs for me. There was nobody there when I arrived despite it being the check in hours. One thing I’ve realized after 2 weeks in Sicily is that the norm is for the hosts not to be present, so if you want more privacy and freedom that’s good. If you need lots of assistance might not be so good. But that’s been overall all over the islands. But when I arrived I had to call them and wait 5-10 minutes for them to arrive. In my experience also almost no English was spoken, but we managed to communicate and make things happen, and that was enough for me. I also enjoyed the privacy. There’s no breakfast included or available to purchase, you have to make your own arrangements.

Molto apprezzato il cambio biancheria bagno ogni due giorni . Il Signor Giuseppe persona molto gentile ed accogliente . Arredamento molto semplice ma funzionale La pulizia iniziale poco accurata . Al nostro arrivo nel bagno abbiamo trovato rotoli di carta igienica usati da altri ospiti e durante il soggiorno la fornitura della stessa scarseggiava . Pulizia bagno e pavimento camera mai effettuato nei sei giorni di pernottamento

Marina Corta, punto di partenza per le escursioni giornaliere in barca, dista solo 3 minuti a piedi, così come il corso principale con tutti i servizi. Le camere sono pulite, arredate in stile essenziale e vintage, e la cucina è attrezzata con tutto il necessario per preparare i pasti in totale autonomia. Gli asciugamani sono stati cambiati più volte durante il nostro soggiorno. Il proprietario è stato cordialissimo: è stato un piacere scambiare due chiacchiere con lui. Abbiamo adorato anche il terrazzo comune, dove ci ha gentilmente sistemato un tavolino per cenare all’aperto. La vista sulla parte vecchia di Lipari da lì è semplicemente impagabile. Die Einrichtung, wie die Küche könnte etwas reichlicher ausgestattet sein. Ansonsten ist alles da was man braucht. Alles in allem ist das Apartment empfehlenswert.

Maria (9/5): Excellent old apartment in great location. Walking distance to main street and marina. - Fantastic old apartment tucked down a quiet lane way. Gorgeous surroundings, quaint building with rooftop terraces for hanging out clothes, enjoying the sun or getting fresh air. Room cleaned daily, rubbish separated into recycling etc. Family business run well. Helpful with recommendations and directions. ZERO to complain about with the place . Wish we could have stayed longer, and wish the weather didn't prevent us from getting the boat to stay on our original first day 😔

Ho alloggiato in una spaziosa camera con balconcino che si affaccia sul vicolo dotata di tutti i comfort. Ottimo segnale Wi-Fi, pulito e gestori molto cortesi. A disposizione degli ospiti c'è una bella terrazza con vista. A pochi passi ci sono ristoranti e negozi e il porticciolo.

Verified traveler (8/5): Value and Handy. - A good value place to stay. Handy for main areas, 15 mins from ferry. Good size room but the tiniest shower ever. Make sure you arrange a check in time in advance as there was no one there when I arrived and had to track owner down by phone before he eventually came and let me in.
Fridtjof (6/5): Run down hotel which needs urgent renovation. - This hotel is a little bit run down and very basic and needs renovation. The people running it are very friendly and helpful. The internet was super fast (fiber) and just installed when we were there. It is not very sound proof but very centrally located in Lipari town. Everything is in walking distance.

vermiliondesign (10/5): Nice cozy “home” - It is about 10-15 mins walk from the port. Owner is very nice and helpful, though he cant speak English, he tries to understand you! Room is comfortable, big bathroom. Near to port for excursions and the famous sandwich shop. Price is good, there ate steps to climb to your room.
Jérémy (8/5): B&B propre et bien situé - B&B très bien situé dans une petite rue piétonne calme à quelques minutes de marche de la rue principale. Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées. Les enfants des hôtes sont très gentils et certains parlent très bien français (quant au père... nous n'avons jamais eu un bonjour!). Il n'a rien d'exceptionnel sinon, il n'est pas très cher donc c'est parfait pour un logement économique.
arvostelu2015 (8/5): Small nice private house - Owner offers few rooms for rental, place very clean, owner friendly but does not speak English but his son does. Family operated quiet street, well located..you can walk everywhere and the island is safe. Not much to do, but great place for relaxation, beautiful scenery for walks and ferry service to other surrounding islands. Amazing espressos and cappuccinos in many of the cafes on the island.

Mike (8/5): A very pleasant stay and time in Lipari. - A very pleasant stay. Owner is very nice. He gave us a room with a kitchenette with no extra charges. Our room is clean and big. Do bring your own cooking condiments, detergent and toiletries. Water heater for shower takes time to heat up between showers so wait for a while after someone has taken one. Apartment is about 15-20 mins walk from the main port for hydrofoils to/from Milazzo but it is very near to the smaller port for boats for Stromboli and Vulcano. Grocery is available at a supermarket near to the main port, along the main street. Do not miss Stromboli. The tiring 2-3 hrs uphill climb is very worth it for viewing the beautiful sunset and volcanic eruptions after dark. The 1 hr plus downhill trek down the soft volcanic sand is fun and a great experience in the dark with only a torch light! A once in a life time experience not to be missed ! Be warned: only for the physically fit....otherwise, the guide can and will ask you to leave the group half way and send you back down with another guide.
ElpeeODee (10/5): Excellent budget accommodation, kind owner - I stayed here by myself in October for €35 per night. I had a big room with a double and single bed, bathroom, small balcony and kitchenette. The house is lovely, the stairs, doors etc. Vico Sparviero is very well located, no distance from Marina Corte from where the boat trips go (not the ferries, they are at the other side of town about 10 minutes walk). If in Marina Corte, eat/drink at La Vela bar/restaurant: really recommend it. When I was due to leave it was stormy and it looked like I might be stuck for a couple of days. The owner tried to find out what was happening with the ferries for me. When I headed off into the wind with my suitcase hoping for the best he came running after me to let me know that if I needed to stay he woud give ml a discount! How sweet is that, a discount on what was already a bargain price. there was a calm in the storm and one of the local excursion boats took some of us over to Milazzo so I didn't have to take him up on his kind offer. So from Dublino, safe and sound, I say 'Grazie per la sua gentilesse'.

It is located just right the historical centre, like 1 min walking into the beautiful little vicolos of Lipari. The room was big and clean, with little kitchen and dining table. Balcony, wifi and cleaning included. Mr Vittorio friendly since the first approach, made us having a good experience. The price is definitely worth the visit, highly recommended!

The guesthouse is located just behind the harbour of Lipari’s old town, so you are a step away from the daily boat cruises and the evening life. Giuseppe is the owner and he is so kind and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
luciam316 (10/5): Budget, Excellent facilities and location - I rented an apartment all to myself for one week with a kitchen and bathroom included, the price was great, 25 euro per night (much cheaper than many single beds in a dormitory in the mainland of Italy). The apartment was clean and everything worked well and with a cute little balcony, and best of all it was nestled amongst the little alleys of Lipari, close to the Marina Corta. And the owners of Casa Vittorio were so lovely.
tessmila (10/5): Nice low-cost BnB in a gorgeous local neighborhood - I highly recommend Casa Vittorio for low-mid budget travelers. The accommodation was way better than many more expensive places I have stayed and you certainly are getting good value at 15-20 Euro per person. I had an ensuite and balcony opening out onto a cute local residential st, tv, fridge, kettle, fresh sheets and towels daily and of course the helpful and friendly advice from Guiseppe the owner and his lovely family. It is locate right in the center of Lipari, 5 star location. Not a lot of signage but ask a local and they will send you in the right direction.
Lottiejepson (10/5): Good location with a friendly owner. A great stay. - We knew it would be a nice stay when Guiseppe met the two of us from the port with a sign to guide us to the hostel! After staying in lots of mixed dorms it was luxury to have our own room with a fridge and a balcony etc. The next day we were left a kettle and tea cups which was very considerate. It's more of a hotel than a hostel, with towels provided and the room being cleaned everyday. Guiseppe himself doesn't speak English (but I think this added to the charm and we still managed to communicate) but his son spoke good English and they were all very eager to help. As two female students we were happy that we could come and go as we liked and felt very safe staying here. The price was fantastic for everything that we got, especially as it was in such easy reach of everything we needed on Lipari. (5 mins to port and only a few metres from the main street) Highly recommended!
