Beach was lovely. The restaurant was convenient. The moving of food/linens/ restaurant supplies from the front if the building to the restaurant was noisy. The wagons full of supplies rolling past our door until late into the evening was loud. Parking is difficult with so many people just coming to the beach restaurant/bar.

Our room was very clean with home feel touches everywhere you turned. The pool was fantastic, the music was spot on! The restaurant setting had an ocean view at every seat. The layout was cozy with a waterfall background and a fire pit for the evening breeze from the ocean. The food was excellent, choose anything on the menu and your taste buds will be happy. Thank you cooks, helpers, and wait staff for presenting delicious meals every time. On our way out we met Robin, the person who presents every room with a homey touch for the next guest. Thank you Robin for the friendly visit and your welcoming smile. We will return next month for another wonderful getaway experience. God Bless all of you. Nothing

Remodeled with very current amenities like big screen and rainfall shower head. Room size adequate for two adults. Not enough for family unless small kid or two. Parking tight due to outside patrons of bar/grill.

I had the best tuna steak I've ever had and I've had quite a few! Really wonderful! Very nice continental breakfast too. There was some construction/repair work going on that started at 8.00 am, even on the Saturday, so not great if you wanted to sleep in.

• Isa (1/5): RUN from this place. There a hundred other hotels in Melbourne to choose from. - The younger staff was super helpful and polite especially Hannah, Bradley, Ava, David and Krystal. The adult staff were rude to me and my guests on multiple occasions and were rude to the younger staff, Especially Robin, I've never, ever seen a grown woman be SO rude to the younger people who work WITH her and also the lady with the British accent. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves as woman, as leaders and as humans. I'm embarrassed for you both. As a local to your area, especially your area, I would advise all the adult staff to be more kind, more helpful and polite. I don't think y'all are going to do well in the slow season when you're going to need the locals the most. I know I am certainly telling every single person I know not to visit your property, like I said before, we wouldn't normally visit this property because it's always been known to be run down and filled with undesirables. I will make sure to let everyone know nothing has changed. It's lipstick on a pig. I advise every young person that works there to quit and go find another job, it's busy season, there are plenty of places hiring and you shouldn't be abused or talked to like that by your leaders. This hotel is the definition of bait and switch. It has been slightly remodeled, but it is still the same ole dive that the locals have and will to continue to avoid especially at the price they charge and their older staff customer service. This motel is known to de a dump amongst the locals and will continue to be given the experience I had. I would not recommend this motel to anyone I know nor will I be returning. The rooms are extremely overpriced, parking is a nightmare, the "spa" is not located on the property, the food is low quality compared to the price. I enjoyed the staff in the kitchen it's not their fault that they are given low quality ingredients. I feel like which ever one of you adults up there bought this motel is over budget on the renovation and is therefore trying to squeeze every dime they can out of whoever stays there. I came to the beach to relax and was stressed my entire 24 hour stay. Robin was SO rude to not only me but also my sisters whom I brought for a relaxing girls trip. Of all the things we were, relaxed, was not one of them. Our rooms weren't ready until well after 3pm but Robin was sure as hell banging on my door, then walked in on me while I was nude at 10;30 AM, I reckon to begin "HER" check-out time. Then when I had to run across the street to buy a bag of ice because there is no ice machine that the guests are allowed to touch, my sisters were packing up our cars, Robin came back down to the room and stated to my sisters extremely rudely, "that check-out time is 11am". No joke, Robin, we've been to a motel before, my sisters stated that they were aware and just waiting on my return and assured her that our things were packed and removed from the rooms Robin then stated to my sisters, "It's 11:07!!!" Pipe down. you didn't have the rooms ready on Saturday until past standard time, what's the difference today? 1 out of 5 stars.
• Kim (6/5): could’ve been better not for us…. - Location. Everybody was very nice at work there clean well kept. Beautiful pool nice restaurant. Reviews Stated the rooms are very small and the bathroom is very very small but even smaller than I thought possible. No fan in bathroom crappy window hard to open and wouldn’t stay open. The problem with the little window is the light shines through so you can’t hardly see your face in the mirror. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I tried put something to block that glare….. The Air condition is right where you put your suitcase so every time I had to get in my suitcase I had to turn the air off inconvenient. 🥶 Our bed was a little weird there was a big air bubble, some kind of plastic cover for (bed bugs) the mattress we weren’t sure what was going on at first I did inquire maid wanted to fix it but that was inconvenient plus we figured out a way to keep the bubble down. Though I thought the mattress was comfortable despite the bubble the person I was with had a problem with it. Also parking could be a problem I also read that in reviews. The restaurant is really busy cars are trying to pull in and we were trying to get out. We were unsure if we were gonna lose our parking place so we decided to back it up park the car and walk we could put the cone to save it, but we were afraid somebody might move it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Access to the beach we have to walk-through tables with our beach chairs umbrellas people eating very tight so we had to walk through room 124 area. I don’t think anyone was staying there when we were there though. We won’t be back. It’s not for us, but I can see where there was a lot of effort to make the place Nice just too small too tight. There were things I did like, but the things I mentioned were more important. I understand it was an old hotel renovation was nicely done. Oh one more thing, the stairs go down to the beach in rough shape but when you get to the bottom I feel like there should be some kind of platform where you hose your feet off what’s the sense of hosing them off? If you’re standing in sand, it may be extended a little bit of a boardwalk.

• Robert (8/5): This is a really nice boutique hotel on the beach with outstanding amenities. - I loved the location and the bar, pool, and restaurant were exceptional! There was a lot of machinery noise from the AC system at night outside of the bathroom window.
• Lucila (8/5): It's a quiet haven that I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. - The staff was very welcoming. I felt taken care of. The continental breakfast was nice. It was great to be able to get a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. I did not care for the mattress on my bed. It was.too soft. This is a personal preference. It's absolutely the only negative in a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

• Miranda (10/5): Amazing as expected, enjoyed every minute of it and will definitely be back. - This is the second stay and I’m just absolutely amazed by all the staff that are always so nice and welcoming, rooms fresh and clean, the beach access and the bar with a very decent selection of food and drinks, and the pool area is phenomenal. The area is just so convenient too with stores and restaurants in reasonable walking distance too if I’m not wanting to take my car. Also the complimentary breakfast is always a plus. The parking can get cramped during busy hours but it’s still doable. I also wish I could enjoy drinks by the pool but the rules are also understandable to keep it as clean and nice as it is. PLEASE ADD CRAB LEGS TO THE MENU THAT WOULD BE EPIC ‼️❤️

The beach bar is so nice, good drinks and food, open air to the beach. Pool was amazing, salt water and clean with loungers. Towels are provided by the hotel for pool and beach. Great staff, they are all friendly and helpful. Felt like family. Would come back again for sure. The usb plugs in the room do not work so my phone didn't charge overnight- minor thing. All was great!

Very clean , Just be patient with the parking situation - The outdoor little resturent just a few step away from room , Limited menu but great food and service ! Parking was a chore , they reserved parking for overnight guest by putting a large cone in the spot to keep others from using it . However, every time you leave and come back they putt the cone back in to keep others from using it ,When you come back you have to get out and move the cone , get back into your car and park !!! They are tight with the way others cars are parked , A little annoying

• Sue (10/5): Perfect on the beach location - This property is a “10” all the way. Rooms are nice, clean , comfy beds. Nice a/c. The property location is spectacular. The ocean side resort is so perfect for those early morning sunrises and the evening sunsets. The tiki bar food is cooked fresh. None better than they have a great HH menu 3-6pm. The ladies in the office are so nice, always helpful and accommodating. This was our 3rd trip and will be going back soon. There’s not much you can improve on. I’d say don’t change office staff 😊😊

• Hirtner (10/5): Quiet, peaceful, friendly - The overall environment, very peaceful and relaxing. Just sitting in the pool listening to the band play and the ocean waves crash in the background the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and have whatever you need. The rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable. The bagels put out at breakfast were also amazing, they tasted homemade. Difficult parking, especially when the restaurant is busy. Staff does valet park for the restaurant but pulling in and out of your hotel guest parking space becomes difficult.

• Christina E (8/5): Hidden Bleu Gem. - We had a wonderful time staying at Bleu Beach. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious. The service and craft cocktails were very good. We enjoyed the ocean view from our table. The rooms are small but very comfortable beds. We did have pina coladas poolside one day which was very relaxing. The only minor issue would be the parking. There is very convenient parking for folks staying at the hotel. But there is limited parking for any visitors or if you are planning to eat at the restaurant. However, they do have valet parking once the local parking is filled. All-in all a nice time at the Bleu Beach. Bj

• Sharelle (10/5): - We stayed in the family room with an ocean view- you don’t actually get a view of the ocean..it’s of their pool. The room was pretty small for our family of 4 but adorable & comfortable. There were two beds & a couch with chairs. A kitchenette area with a fridge/microwave. The beach/ocean was steps away & we paid $40 for an umbrella & 2 chairs through the resort. They have a hose clean up area connected to the bar as well to clean you off before you go back to your room. We got to have the pool to ourselves during our stay which my boys loved. I like that they are a smaller hotel so there aren’t a ton of guests to overcrowd the amenities. We loved the staff & loved their food & drinks from the restaurant/bar connected to the resort called the Beach Bar. Easy parking for our rental car with valet. We also were able to get an uber within 5 minutes of requesting one & it’s in an amazing area near all kinds of restaurant options & things to do. Loved our stay/loved the area!
• Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice place. They did an outstanding job renovating this property into a very nice place. The staff (every one of them) were super friendly and helpful. Cheers to the tiki bar! Apparently it’s a favorite for the locals too. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again. Tiki bar drinks were a bit pricey. I do get it that this is a waterfront bar and drinks get a premium price. Now, their happy hour (M-F 3:00-6:00) is great!
• Runci (10/5): We were greatly impressed with the location, service and room rates of this hotel, - The location was right on the beach. The beach bar overlooked the ocean and the food and service were both awesome. It was what I expected. The room was on the small side but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. We were there for the beach, pool and beach bar! Parking was also tight, but there is not a lot to be done about that due to the size of the property. I would advise people not to go there in a large truck or SUV

Having the restaurant so close to the sandy beach was delightful. Menu was limited and pricey Room was small and there is no comfortable chair from which to watch TV. Overall experience was delightful. See above.

• Ryan (10/5): Our family loved visiting the Bleu for the second time and we will definitely be back again! - Love how the property is s close to the sand. Just a few steps from the beach. Also, like the on-site BB's Beach Bar on such a beautiful setting. This trip we also booked the spa for a massage. We enjoyed the amenities - hot tub, sauna, steam room. My only suggestion is to improve access for guests to the beach. Currently, the only path is to walk through the seating at the Beach Bar, which is tight when carrying beach stuff and I even knocked over a chair by accident.

• Karen (9/5): Superb - I have never met nicer staff. Everyone was smiling, ready to help. BLEU is a small, boutique place. It is always very clean. I've been staying there since they first started remodeling, and it just keeps getting better. The beach is "right there," across a deck and down the stairs. As a solo traveler, I feel safe there. I enjoy the quietness and calm of the place. Highly recommend.

• Bobby (10/5): This is our new favorite and go to place for a weekend getaway. We had a favorite and we couldn’t get in so we tried her - Super clean and updated. Felt like a spa and a great restaurant. The staff is amazing. Treats you like you are a guest in their house. The only thing I could even say is Parking is a little tight. That is not picking to be honest. Nothing they can do about that. I think they do as well as can. They do offer valet as well.

• James (10/5): - Beautifully redone property fantastic Facilities close to everything that you might need. The restaurant has got to be the closest one on the beach anywhere around and the food was excellent and standardized. Every time we ate there.

• Jackie (8/5): - This was a nice stay for oceanfront accommodations. King size bed was decent but did sink in a bit. Housekeeping did great at restocking and sweeping up the sand when needed. Breakfast & coffee did not begin until 8am when the office opened and was light fare which included pastries, yogurt, bagels, fruit, and hard boiled eggs. The pool was clean and just the right temp. The BB’s Beach Bar had good food and was convenient BUT there was constant foot traffic in front of our room and the pool. You even had to walk through the lunch/dinner dining guests to get to the ocean. I prefer a little more privacy. So if you are looking for tranquility, this is not for you as it is much too busy. Overall, a decent stay but will not return because I was looking for more privacy.

• Monique (10/5): Highly recommend. Will do again. - This was a small resort, maybe 20 rooms. The resort was recently remodeled and everything was beautifully maintained. All the staff was very friendly. A bar/ restaurant on the property and it was very good. It sits on the ocean so it has a beautiful view. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a little on the small side but usable. The only downside to our stay was the pillows were foam and not very comfortable. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a smaller hotel that caters to its guests.
• Marley (8/5): Perfect one stop motel for a weekend get away with clean facilities and great drinks. Ideal for couples or singles. - This is a really unique, cool place. We loved the restaurant and bar. Such a convenient location right on the water, it is beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean, and I’m picky. Great location for a couple get away. Parking was never a problem, it was crazy busy when we checked in at the restaurant but the valet prioritized us by having us parked in less than 3 minutes. Not big enough for a family get away in my opinion, but could work. Resort is small in general so rooms are tiny, they have a couple of bigger suites but be mindful they are located right in front of the restaurant. It worked for our small family but we would only return as a couple. We didn’t mind the pool location but it is located literally right beside the bar/restaurant so if you’re a private person it might not be the vibe for you. Also, a little shower located by the bathrooms would be nice to wash off from ocean. It would help cut back on sand in room and in pool. These “cons” could very well be “pros” depending on what you’re looking for in a trip!
• Barbara (10/5): Perfect for me traveling alone. - A beautiful spot for someone who isn’t into big crowds and needs some time of reflection. Staff couldn’t do enough for me. Parking is very limited but as a guest valet made sure you had a spot.

• Joanne (8/5): - Very nice boutique hotel with pretty rooms. Our room was not ready until an hour after check-in and then had sand all over the floor. Asked if we could check out of our room and then sit by pool for the day and was told we could, but when we brought our towels back at the end of the day, we were told that we would be charged for the towels and for staying by the pool. That should have been set up front so that we could make that choice. People at front desk were not very friendly about it, but did wave the fees. It is nice to have restaurant there, but extremely loud at night and very crowded to walk-through. People at restaurant were very friendly and food was pretty good.
• Wendy (8/5): Beach vibes - An overnight on the beach! Cute small property right on the beach. Small rooms, but what you needed. Heated pool was heavenly & beautifully lit @ night. The bar/restaurant was a popular spot. Friendly staff.
• John (9/5): Charm,Old School and we are already booked for next year, - We like old school places, the Bleu hits it right on the head. We got a nice staff, greasy breakfast, great pool, great beach , great parking and great restaurant , all in old school environment. The two white elephants are the rooms are small and parking is crazy when the restaurant is hoping. We like white elephants so we embrace them. Staff takes care of parking issue Big time and the room size is quickly put to the side because of the charm of the whole resort.
