- River (9/5): - Everything was great Slightly away from centre of town sights
- Maisie (10/5): My second stay here and I was very happy thank you. - Lovely characterful property tucked down a quiet lane with easy access to Convention Centre , Niman and Old City. Staff were lovely and friendly and parking was available off street. Nothing
- Lisa (10/5): Peaceful, relaxing and welcoming - I was always welcomed upon my arrival or departure. I had a flat tire, and the owner helped me immediately. I was given the option to wash my clothes and enjoyed how quiet it was most of the time.
- KAI BIN (10/5): -
- Kian (10/5): Amazing, quite and beautiful experience - Hospitality of the family Nothing

- peggy (8/5): A hidden gem -great value for money . I would highly recommend - A lovely friendly welcome . The property was really full of character and very convenient for Chiang Mai. I would recommend it. Nothing

- Tomer (7/5): authentic stay in the suburbs of chiang mai - The staff were lovely.
location is quiet but also far from everything could be cleaner
must use grab to get around, and its not always available
the balcony is facingva building
no soap at the bathroom, no extra towel for hands
- michele (10/5): A Place for Quiet Ease - Quiet, nature views, stylish rooms and kind Staff. A place for those who appreciate a slower pace and self-navigating [by foot or motorbike, etc]. Walking distance to local food and cafes. A short drive to tourist areas.
- dean (9/5): - Lovely little boutique hotel... Well condo residence . In a nice quite location but not to far from the main areas, room was very nice and comfortable. No breakfast or restaurant as its a residence not really a hotel but lovely anyways. Very pleased
- Trin (9/5): -
- Eric (6/5): It's a good value with friendly staff and OK accommodations. - The room was good sized, clean, and nice. The hotel was cute. The bed was comfortable, by Thai standards. The staff were nice. I was able to rent a motorbike from the hotel. The hotel was on a side street. The feeling of outdoor views from the room window isn't like the view in our room. The view is of other buildings. While the hotel is outside of the busiest downtown area, all of Chiang Mai is busy, with a lot of traffic. There's no soap provided in the room. It's easy to buy soap, but still.... There are many lights and many light switches in the room, but the light over the mirror in the bathroom did not work. I had to go on the porch to shave. To be fair, I did not tell them about the light being out until I checked out, but still... wouldn't housekeeping report it?
- Kwstas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nur (9/5): Superb -
- Shashank (9/5): Must stay. - It is a small boutique hotel completely run by the owner and his family. This was our first stay in Chiang Mai. We were late for the Doi Inthanon National park and the owner dropped us to Maya center in the nick of time. He charged 100 bhat for the drive and saved us the trip. The hotel itself is beautiful and located a bit far from the city in tranquil environment. They don't serve any food. Hence, we need to go to restaurants nearby. However, plenty of restaurants available within 300m of the hotel.
- Aleksandr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rumen (10/5): What we needed in Chiang Mai - The whole atmosphere, the staff, the room was big and had everything we needed. Its not in the busy center which we loved. Maybe more amenities like more soaps and such would be nice, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.
- Ori (7/5): Good -
- Amini (8/5): Very good -
- Kush (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zeya (9/5): Superb - Everything was perfect! The room is very clean and comfortable, I especially like the balcony! super cosy! The location is a little far from the old town but also brought you the quiet nights and good sleep

- Claudio (10/5): Exceptional - calm location, owners super friendly, big room, fast wifi, quiet at night mattress was a little hard, but comfortable, just not squishy like most matresses
- Apiradee (8/5): Very good -
- Mirko (9/5): Superb - Design and comfort. Quiet and polite hosts. Would definitely consider going back. The facilities are good, some details could improve. A little far to the city center... Getting a taxi could take up to 30 minutes depending on time/events
- Alessandro (9/5): Nice place where to stay - The owner, very welcome amd ready to support even with transportation
- Satoshi (10/5): Relaxed with nature views, local eats, and peaceful surroundings - - Beautiful nature view from the balcony
- Local food stalls, seven eleven store, restaurants and nice park are walking distance
- Not crowded like the center in the neighborhood and I could relax all the time Nothing
- Getahun (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious clean and comfortable room . It is a quiet peaceful place to stay
- Vijay (9/5): Superb - My stay was excellent. The staff were really very nice. It’s peaceful and some 15 minutes away from Tha Phae Gate. My room got cleaned every day. There is nothing I could point to…
My room didn’t come with safe deposit. Requested owner to keep my passport safe. He kept in hotel safe.

- John (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, spacious, and comfortable hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is in a very peaceful and quiet area. Very close walking distance to many local restaurants and a 7-Eleleven convenience store.
- Phornphan (9/5): Superb -
- Jinxing (9/5): a cozy stay, a good memory - the balcony is great so that i can breath fresh air would be better if there are slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste.
- Christian (8/5): - My stay at this hotel was great, staff very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place where to relax after a busy day.
- Stephen (10/5): A slightly out of the way gem - Return visitor! Beautiful and scrupulously maintained property in a quiet residential area north of the city center. The price is quite reasonable. WiFi was unfailingly reliable. Only two words of caution to potential visitors: (1) there's no on-site kitchen, so no breakfast, but there are plentiful options within easy walking distance. (2) There are no ground-floor rooms and there's no elevator, so those who can't negotiate stairs should probably look elsewhere. Management is cheerful and, although unobtrusive, quick to respond to questions. (I didn't ask for much advice because I have friends in the area.) Really, there's nothing I didn't like, although handling the shampoo and liquid soap did make me a bit nervous. (Both are provided in cute little porcelain vases that are eminently suited to falling and shattering if grasped with slippery hands.) Sure, my ideal hotel would offer breakfast, a bathtub, a fitness center, and a cocktail bar, but the hotel makes no claims to any of that, so I didn't miss it.
- Gloria (10/5): Ideal if you need to do remote work! - It was quiet, away from the crowded area of the walled city, internet was great, staff, room was cleaned everyday. The space was wonderful. Free bikes.
- Andrea (2/5): Noisy & dusty place - NOT a boutique hotel - motorcycle rent was easy; owner's father and friend were okay.
The house underwent a recent renovation and aestheticaly the rooms are similar to pictures but some details like plastic hard sofa give out the real level of the place NOT at all a "boutique" hotel but a poorly cared about family house. No service provided; we found noisy dusty rooms that looked abandoned; you can hear anything from next rooms as if they are inside living with you; contact with owner was unpleasent, he only cares about money and not at all about service provided. Location was not in the best neighborhood, scared getting back during the night. There is no hall or common place for guest, all the common area is for the owners only. The majority of reviews seem to be fake and have nothing to do with the actual experience
- Oleg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frazer (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, good place to get some work done, a bit far out but Grab for food works very well. Enjoyed my stay here. Nothing personally.
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mischa (7/5): Good - Staff was friendly Air condition was very loud. Difficult to sleep. Toilet browser for the butt was very strong and ripping of your skin lol.
- Amine (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely hosting family
- Andre (10/5): the best place for its money -
- Andre (10/5): Just come in rent a bike and stay at the best place for its money - one of the best places I ever stayed, professional service and friendly staff, it might be not the closest place to the centre but it takes just less than 10 mins by motorbike
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very clean- well thought out property. i will go gack.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful property on the outskirts - Lovely new property! Chose this place because it was close to where friends of mine live -- it's in a suburban neighborhood of brand-new little mansions, older family homes, and somewhat too many vacant parcels of land no doubt being held by speculators riding the Thai real estate bubble . . . but I digress. Those desiring a quiet and pretty hotel need look no farther. You'll almost never see a tuk-tuk or a sorngthaew, and taxis in Chiang Mai are few and far between, but if you don't have a car, no worries -- Uber and Grabcar drivers are thick on the ground, and cost less than taxis anyway. No breakfast service, although there's a small basket of goodies in the room (e.g., instant noodles) for which there's no minibar charge! -- and there is a food delivery service. But with a host of shamelessly cheap and shamelessly good noodle restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity, why bother? Just one thing to beware of: Liquid hand soap and shampoo are kept in cute little ceramic vases, and I was a bit worried about dropping one while in the shower, so make sure your hands aren't soapy while handling them . . .
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome hotel, friendly owner !! - It was our first time visit to Chiang Mai. Friendly hotel owner provided us lots of trip advice, we had an amazing holiday experience, visiting temples, awesome food and Songkran festival !!
- Dennis (10/5): First visit to Chiang Mai - So apart from my flight. Expedia got my hotel right. Burapa Boutique Hotel is awesome. We were greeted by Nippon and Thim, great hospitality, honestly couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Our family suite was contemporary and modern, my only wish was if they had a pool. Other than that we were able to get around and sight see all over Chiang Mai. Nippon was gracious to setup everything and also get us a private red car and driver for 2 days and little over 24 hrs of driving for about 6K baht. We went to a dozen destinations some over 2 1/2 hours away. Nippon exceeded our expectations and allowed us to appreciate what Chiang Mai has to offer, definitely coming back because of him.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cosy Boutique with very pretty aesthetics - This boutique hotel is nestled amongst a pretty residential neighbourhood with the mighty Doi Suthep framing the scene. There is much peace and tranquility here. The owner and his team run a very cosey hotel and will attend carefully to all their guests needs . Location may be a little far from the Old City and the Ping River . But those locations are a short car ride ( or bike ride !) away.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Convenient to attend conventions - Excellent service from staff. Free bicycles, and free wifi in the hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 赞赞赞 - 酒店性价比很高 出入周围很方便 美女老板娘人也很好
- Sandra (6/5): Nice, isolated hotel - My boyfriend and spent three days in Chiang Mai and we stayed at this hotel. We found that the room was spacious, clean and quiet (very quiet...). However, the hotel is fairly isolated with a few small stalls/shops around for any basic needs. It is quite far from the centre and the taxi fares are around 200 - 250 bhats each way and you will need the taxi because riding a bicycle or a moped can be very unsafe. Both my boyfriend and I each used one of the three bicycles of the hotel and felt that the roads were unsafe to try to go further that the nearest stall. The hotel staff were kind to offer to pick us up from the airport for 220 bhats which is the same rate as a taxi.
Unfortunately, the hotel offers very basic breakfast as they do not cater for that in the premises.
I definitely wished the hotel had a swimming pool as it was too hot to enjoy the balcony.
- Verified traveler (8/5): best bed? - A pretty alright hotel. But for the price that I'm paying I was quite disappointed that there's no breakfast that's included in it. Love the bed though. It's so "hard" and comfy, well this is personal preference.
- Azully (8/5): Privacy n homey - Its very cosy and homey feeling...hotel is run by family and they are very friendly and helpful. U can rent a motorbike or car by requesting it thru the hotel and they'll find the transport at good rate
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent property not far from town - Good experience overall. The owners are superb in their hospitality and attention to needs. Property design is fantastic and rooms are well laid out. Location is a short ride from town but still convenient and quiet. Breakfast is adequate.
- Panitcha (10/5): Great stay - The room is well designed and well appointed /bed s comfortable. Close to Nimman rd and Maya ( way better with your own vehicle).
Will definitely cone back.
- Greg (8/5): Homely Feel from nice people - Burapa is a very clean well run hotel. The rooms are huge and spacious, the hotel is clean and well run. The hotel is about 30 mins from the City centre, at times with no traffic it can be less. The hotel is located in a quiet cul de sac. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or bar. Yet there is plenty of places to eat within 5 mins walk from the hotel. The breakfast is great. The staff and owners try there best to accommodate you. They let you take their bicycles from free. I went with a friend, took a bicycle and explored the countryside without going into the city. I found an amazing scenic lake with loads of restaurants and bar located around it where locals hang out. There was karoke machines and bands in some bars. Behind the lake then is a beautiful old horse race track with the races on every Saturday, this was very cool to experience the races there. Don t expect modern, but more antique style set up. There was a beautiful Buddha temple less than a mile from the hotel, which had monks praying. There is a few massage places around the area, some good and some not so good. I found a nice area to interact with the people. I would recommend this hotel for someone who is looking for a peaceful, relaxing, private stay.
