Guest Reviews
- Dhasmana (9/5): - Nice Good
- Robert (7/5): Not a mistake desirable place to stay near ISKCON - This is an adequate place to stay Location was dificult to navigate with vehicle doe to road construction and blockages you could not predict
- Viktorija (6/5): Good location for Short stay - The food was absolutely amazing and the location was perfect. The room size was great, and the room itself was beautiful. No daily room cleaning you have to call and ask. if you're lucky they will clean in late afternoon.
They ignored my request for laundry service, I asked twice but the promise was false.
WiFi is not working most of the time, and even mobile networks are barely reachable. Not suitable for remote work. Smart TV is useless as WiFi is not working.
AC is old and loud, it's too loud to sleep and have it on. Very inconvenient.
For this price I expected better service.
- Varenka (6/5): - Location was great … walking distance to ISKCON temple and the main streets Not the most comfortable unfortunately.
The rooms had a damp smell to it and so did the bedding.
We tried to move to alternative rooms, but all were similar
- Radhashyam (10/5): -
- Sumeet Mangal (10/5): - Location, rooms
- Niket (8/5): -
- Rohan (8/5): -
- Rannjeet (1/5): - It's only location Nothing good at all
- Shah (9/5): Amazing - The rooms ,the location and thr food. Too good ..
- himani (1/5): No comments, not willing to book from now on. - Only the Place Food, nature of the staff hence, their was a rat in my room last night.
After spending a lot of money, i got this kind of room.
- Lovell (9/5): We enjoyed our stay at Ananda Krishna Van 2. We will be booking here again on our next trip as - Good location. Close to Iskcon temple. Staff assisted us with our wheelchair ♿️ user family member. Good facilities. Kettle and fridge in room. Bottled water provided daily. Good laundry service offered. Good atmosphere 👌. We stayed at Ananda Krishna Van 2. There are stairs / steps to get to the lifts. The wheelchair ♿️ had to be carried up and down. It is risky. The hotel staff assisted us with this. The bathroom door is not wheelchair accessible. It will only fit a small wheelchair ♿️.

- HARSH NUPUR (10/5): - Proximity to ISCKON and Prem Mandir.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Anjana (7/5): Over priced with basic amenities - The staff excluding receptionist Mobile network and Wifi doesn't work, it was a basic room, receptionist was not responding and was rude, room had very basic facilities, it's overrated, there were lizards in the room
- Robin (5/5): Passable - Food was nice and location was nice Price was high and staff member can be more nice they need to hear the customers demand. They refuse directly.
- Shivansh (5/5): Property location is good, rooms are spacious, but security guards are insensitive and not helpful - Room are spacious, property is also big with space to wander around and at a good location. No proper parking space and security guards are rude, insensitive and not much helpful. We also had an incident - Our car got a flat tyre when it was parked overnight near main gate with guards watching. Still in the morning when we checked out of the hotel and left in our car no one cared to inform that tyre is punctured, when two senior guards were standing there only. After few meters only we had to return as car was not balancing. After returning also no one actually wanted to help, they were only saying go to this garage or that. I asked my family to wait in the reception and went to the garage which one of the guards mentioned. The shocking part was after all this - guards had the audacity to ask for a tip like shamelessly while i was taking car to get the flat tyre fixed.
- Srikant (7/5): Only location is good but much good hotels are present with less amount - Location is good Bathroom was not properly maintained
- Sukhadiya (3/5): Poor -
- Sahil (8/5): Very good -
- Suraj Kumar (8/5): - Good Stay
- Ashish (8/5): Excellent experience - Good place for family get-together Nothing
- Shivank (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing breakfast superb location.
- Jean (10/5): - Good quality place

- Amin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harsh (7/5): Good -
- Jandial (8/5): Very good -
- Kulvir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pardeep (8/5): Good - Rooms are cleaned. The staff is good. Steam milk is charged for 25 rs per packet.
Tv is outdated and small screen size.
- Sharma (4/5): Pathetic experience. - The staff was not professional. The room was not clear. Dirty towels. I stayed for 3 nights. The room was only cleaned once, that too after calling room service. Even daily water bottles were obtained by calling room service. The AC was faulty and was not starting many a times. Dogs were wandering in the corridor. The food quality was pathetic. All the payment was obtained in advance at the time of check in. Hence couldn't change the hotel.
- Priyanka (8/5): Very good -
- Renata (5/5): Passable - The location was good,, the size of the room was good. The staff wasn't responsive at all prior to arrival (had some.issues with trying to pay for the reservation because of the international card), and also there they literally didn't even great us or give us our room keys or say anyting to us, they just took our passports and money, and gave the key to the guys who took our suitcases (and expected money for taking them). Not a very nice experience. The room was ok.
- Manoj (8/5): Very good - Had a very good Darshan of Premanand ji Maharaj during their early morning Pad Yatra
- Praveen (7/5): Very good location, rooms used space very well, staff is like any B grade town. - Location Old property with drainage issues
- Frequenttraveller5 (1/5): Don't waste your money. Terrible staff, super noisy place, no Internet, outdated facilities. - There was nothing to like. Couldn't wait to leave. Shockingly bad service and facilities, especially for the exorbitant price they're charging. The only reason this hotel is still operating is the location, but its so not worth it, there are dozens of places within a few hundred places that are a thousand times better. By the way even the location isn't that good because the entrance is from an extremely busy road and there's unbelievable traffic noise day and night. Inside there's construction work added to this, and no sound insulation whatsoever between rooms, you'll hear everything from everywhere, some rooms even have connecting doors to other rooms. The worst part of the hotel is the staff: they wouldn't care about you if you died in front of them, they simply ignore you, that's the case from the receptionist to the housekeeping staff, in addition the latter will ask you for 'tips' for nothing. Receptionist doesn't even look at you, just throws your key at you while chatting to other staff members. Rooms are very outdated and uncomfortable. There are box air-conditioning units that I personally couldn't use as they sound like there's a helicopter trying to take off in your room. They have smart TVs you can't use because the WiFi isn't working 99% of the time. You can't use your mobile Internet either as no reception inside the building. The lowest point for me was staff calling me on the landline phone at 6am in the morning - yes, 6am - don't ask why, I didn't answer, just disconnected. I suggest you unplug the phone before you go to sleep if you have the bad fortune to end up here for the night. Better still, don't ever book here. Anywhere in Vrindavan will be better.
- Anju (8/5): Very good -
- Ashish (7/5): Decent. Satisfied. But will probably look to book elsewhere next time. - Good sized room. Complimentary tea, coffee. Large bed very hard. Lack of bathroom anti-slip mats which is a safety hazard
- Karen (4/5): Disappointing -
- Adv (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brahambhatt (8/5): Very good -
- Sumit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virat (8/5): Very good -
- Yatharth (3/5): Worst place to stay. - High value less service, not value for money, service is too slow even for your day water bottle they take 1-2 hours or do multiple requests. They charge 4500/night and Except then location every thing is pathetic service, washroom, bed, food each and every thing. Ideally 700/- ashram is better choice over it.
- Ashish (8/5): Very good - Location is very good Wi-Fi connection is v poor
- Gurshahbaz (8/5): Very good -
- Abhinandan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Singh (1/5): NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL - Just sharing all the details and incidents which made my trip bad coz of a single person. It’s a big scam at Anand Krishna Van. If you are booking online, guy at reception Somvir will allot you rooms in bad condition with stinky smell in it. Then he will say he had no other options and will ask you to upgrade room with extra charges. Once you agree, he will start showing you rooms which are in good condition. At the time of checkout he will charge you altogether extra totally different what you agreed upon. If you have time and you are not hurry to checkout, and after few heated words, he will come back to his agreed price. So be prepared if you are staying at this hotel, you have to deal with this guy with lots of cheap and low level languages. And also Somvir used to quote “Paise de ke jao. Aap akele customer nahi, bahut log aate hai roj” :) … might be he is not aware of disadvantages of bad reviews.
Everything is good at hotel. But this person being the face of the hotel, will leave overall a bad experience. I explained all these to Hotel Manager Mr Devendra. Let’s see what preventive measures he takes for reputation of his hotel.
Overall will NEVER recommend this hotel to any family for stay over here.
- Prachi (3/5): Poor - Location The staff doesn’t really care about you. We booked a family room but instead received a room with two queen beds. The booking was for 3 people but towels were for 2. Toiletries are poor quality and paltry. The check in guy and the security guard will tail you for tips.
- Pinku (10/5): Exceptional -
- Naveen (7/5): A very good experience - Breakfast was very tasty with lots of options Size of bathroom
- Kaushal (10/5): I was beautiful and worth every penny!! - The breakfast is was awesome delicious and the staff was also really good it's worth the money!!
- Vaishnava (9/5): Superb -
- Navneet (8/5): Very good -
- Nelisha (5/5): Passable - Closet iskcon Room not clean. Restaurant staff behaviour poor. Restaurant cleanliness was poorl
- Sweat (7/5): Good -
- Mohite (8/5): Very good - Location is decent All ok
- Washington (5/5): Hmmmm….better value elsewhere! - Hotel in a fantastic location close to restaurants, grocery supplies, water, and sweet stores. Easy to get transport to and from local places and temples. Centrally located for interstate taxi cars to access. Large room with a great balcony. Great balcony however no chairs to sit on out there. Bed uncomfortable and only issues with 1 pillow. Stayed for 3 nights and offered no change of bath towels or bath mat or anywhere to access self serve linen. Restaurant dinner buffet minimal choices however restaurant had wonderful kind staff ready to offer their services. For the price per night I just didn’t see a “bang for your bucks”. For the price to stay there I believe a massive improvement is needed like more pillows on bed, better mattresses, ability to access towels sheets etc when needed and offer daily housekeeping otherwise this hotel needs to drastically decrease their daily rates. This hotel is very much an Indian resident hotel as I did not see any foreign travellers like myself staying here.
- Alexandra (3/5): Poor -
- Rameshwar (6/5): An appraisal - Location It could have been cleaner. A rusty fridge one cannot use. The WiFi only became operational after midnight or similar.
Tissue (toilet paper) of lowest quality! It also did not help with construction work going on there at the moment.
- Neha (7/5): Good -
- Sarvendra (5/5): Passable -
- Suruchi (7/5): Good option near temple - Location is great. Staff is very good. There should be heater during winters since the floor is marble. The rooms are little dingy, good ventilation is also needed.
- Laura (7/5): Fair enough - The location looks very good, and I loved the location very near to the Iskon temple, far from the chaos of Loi Bazar, which is nevertheless very reachable with a TukTuk. The food is pretty good. I spend my first 3 days in India there and I did have any stomach problems. The room needs maintenance and the cleanness should be definitely improved. I booked a room with balcony and I got first one without much smaller then in the pictures, after remarking it I did got another bigger room with balcony. During the day is extremely loud and in winter the rooms are cold.
- Ashis (8/5): It was a nice stay and since the ISKCON temple is nearby it is easy to visit. Food was good. - The Staff are polite and helpful. The Room should have heaters in the winter months
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good hotel with going ambiance and proximity to isckon.
- SURESH (10/5): Best hotel - Amazing customer experience
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It is clean but it is incredibly old and musty and sheets feel almost wet it is just not at all as advertised. Breakfast was a very small poor selection and only Indian food, not even any fruit selection. I felt flat out lied to by the description online. I would not pay more than $10/ night for this place. Staff was friendly. Stayed for one night and checked out early. Moved to another hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Superb stay, enjoyed a lot on new years eve, will visit next time and stay at same place
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel with primitive standards. Needs lot of maintenance.
- JK (4/5): Unfriendly & unclean - Unfriendly reception. Over priced & unwelcoming. Dusty, tired looking Hotel. Not very clean. Had no housekeeping over 3 nights, I left half way through my stay & I did not like this place at all. Couple of staff smiled in the restaurant- otherwise no one seems interested in the guests. Only had tea, did not eat here. Would not return. The only plus is that’s it’s close to the temples.
- Paul (8/5): Good hotel close to ISKCON temple - Enjoyable stay in a quiet, clean hotel. Good facilities and friendly, helpful staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): comfortable stay. Nice staff. - I extended my stay form the initial booking. Having family come over as well, planning to stay at the same hotel each time I visit.
- Sandeep (2/5): Extremely bad service forced us to leave the hotel - We were first given a room that was not ready, with used towels lying on bed and bathroom dirty. Later we were shifted to another room. But there we were not provided with any towel or toiletry. Not even drinking water and glasses were made available to us. And, worst there was neither any wifi signal nor any telephone signal in the room.
Highly disappointed we checked out after 2/3 hours. When we told the reception person the reason for our leaving, we were given the drinking water bottle. It was such a big disappointment.
- Wendy (10/5): Peaceful haven - Staff were helpful & friendly. Room service & restaurant good. We enjoyed our stay.
- Pradeep (6/5): - Convenient and near to Iskon, but no wifi on room only near entrance
- Barry & Dee (8/5): Great Hotel, minutes from Prem Mandir and Iskcon. - We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights January 2016.
The staff where very friendly and helpful, our room was clean, had a fridge and tv.
This hotel is very big with nice well kept grounds and a kids play area, a nice break after a busy day visiting the temples.
We had breakfast(buffet) and evening meals which where all good.
There are monkeys all over Vrindavan, including the hotel, so you have to keep your windows closed and keep an eye on your Hats, scarves, bags, spectacles, etc.
The hotel is on the edge of Vrindavan in an upcoming area there is a lot of construction and development of new apartment blocks so In the future this will be a very desirable neighbourhood.
Our main reason for staying here is location. We enjoyed walking round, getting lost, and visiting temples. Once we realised the hotel is just off the Parikrama road it made it easier to find our way back each night.
- Amit (6/5): Had Disturbed nights - We had disturbed night at the hotel. Hotel staff checked in new guests ( around 200+ new guests) at 3AM and no one was there to guide them. We couldn't slept that night. Called front desk but no one came to help
Won't recommend anyone
- Dawn (10/5): AWESOME PLACE - All around perfect and very praceful
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good Place for Holi - This was a good hotel to escape the chaos of Holi outside. Everything was satisfactory but the breakfast in the restaurant was awful so we only ate there once, Although I was told other meals were better. Looks like they're doing more building work so this place will be huge. It's quite different from anywhere else we stayed in india, more like a 3 star western style hotel. No real complaints apart the guy who wouldn't leave our room until we gave him a tip, although he hadn't actually done anything!
- vedantha (8/5): very good stay at Ananda krishna van - felt very comfortable.staff behaved very respectfully..excellent service.Good Value for the money paid. Will recommend to friends also
- Marcin (10/5): Good Time - This was my first visit in Vrindavan and this hotel made my holiday even more unforgettable.Very friendly guests service that is very important for me.I am very satisfied and definitely I'll back there.
- shash (8/5): good hotel at nice location.. - vrindavan is really a must visit place and the hotel situated is very nearby to iskon temple. hotel condition is good and very wide in area. restaurant is good but no room service that will be a disappointment for guests. we had a very short stay only for one day so no more reviews about hotel .
- Goldy Gera (10/5): Superb Hotel - I stayed there for a Night but Loved the Friendliness of the Staff and the way they Guide for Everything - It was Awsome
- Verified traveler (4/5): It was a bad experience - Very Bad Service, Room was not cleaned properly. It used to take more than 30 minute for a cup of tea after calling 3 times
