Accommodation was clean and comfortable, staff at reception and in the hotel were pleasant and helpful. Restaurant was great with good food and drinks. Clean updated rooms, easy to access, close to the highway. Good Parking. We stay at the Glen every visit to Brisbane. The best part is the soundproof rooms. Do not hear any noise from the hotel or road. Access to pool, gym. Nothing.

USB charge port has been loosened by careless guests Better signage needed for accommodation side We walked around wrong building with luggage which is really hard when you are disabled dragging suitcase and using walking stick Walking through drive through bottle shop to accommodation surely poor planning Don't think any desserts made in house

• Michael (5/5): very disappointed compared to our stay last year - receptionist at check in and check out was friendly. bathroom felt dirty, vanity basin dirty and can see black mold in the overflow drain hole, did not feel satisfied showering as the shower head selections are terrible, returned back to the room in the evening to a horrible sewer type smell

• Johanne (2/5): Not happy! - Location was good. Staff friendly. Toilet had not been cleaned, as in brown marks in bowl. I cleaned it. TV no sound at all. Turned it off and on and tried to reset through settings. Nothing. Towels were paper thin and one had a huge hole in it. For the money we paid wasn't acceptable. We had business to attend to and couldn't notify the concerns until next day.

Meals in the hotel were excellent to roast of the day was up to the standard of now deceased grandmother. Staff in the coffee shop were most friendly and provided good coffee. Nothing.

• jing (2/5): poor experience - location I booked two rooms on behalf of my friends, and the beds in both rooms were not clean and had a strong smell. I raised the issue with the reception, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any follow-up response yet.

It had a lovely family atmosphere, beautiful outdoor eating area, steak was perfect. The morning cafe outside the pub had the best coffee I’ve had. Would highly recommend

• Carleen (4/5): Disappointed by smell in our room and lack of apology from staff. - Good location. Easy parking. Our room smelt like a wet rag when we arrived. We thought it was that the room was musty as the aircon wasn’t on. Turned on the aircon, and it didn’t improve. My son laid on the bed and disgustedly found his pillow smelt like an old wet smell. I couldn’t locate any other source of the smell. Took the pillow to the staff the next day, and they said they couldn’t smell it and said that sometimes that motel rooms are musty. They said the staff would replace the pillow and check the room during room service. We came back to an “odour eater” moisture absorber/air deodoriser on our windowsill. Nil further information provided by the staff, or reasoning to wet smell. Noted the beds didn’t have proper doona covers - the sheets were covering the quilt and the quilt insert had stains on it.
