• Mary-Ellen (9/5): Comfortable stay and excellent staff. - Staff was excellent: helpful, pleasant and professional. Location - not far from Brussels Midi train station. A lot of building works going on outside. Footpath very uneven and detours in place. Liked the separate toilet from the bathroom but had to go to bathroom to wash hands. A small basin in the toilet area would be useful.
• Margaret (9/5): Would come back again. - Clean,comfortable, helpful friendly staff, great breakfast. The continuing roadworks outside the hotel make it less easy to access and don’t make the surroundings very attractive. Of course the hotel has no control over this, and it’s worth the effort to get there.

Massive massive roadwork all round the hotel. Not good I f you want to walk into the old town after dark. Day time didn’t feel much better.

• Marina (7/5): Très bien mais avec quelques détails à améliorer. - Que le spa soit compris dans le prix . Le lit d'appoint est confortable. La possibilité d'avoir un parking au sein de l'hôtel. Les traitements de l'eau du jacuzzi sont trop salés et piquent les yeux. Il n'y a pas de cabines pour se changer. Nous attendons toujours une serviette dans notre chambre. Il est dommage d'avoir que du thé et pas de tisane. Parking: l'impossibilité de se garer à sa place sans devoir faire bouger des véhicules en les signalant à l'accueil. Quartier peu sympatique

• Hannah (9/5): Great stay - We stayed here three times whilst travelling back and forth on a recent holiday, and it was great every time. Large comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and so convenient for the train station. Staff were also friendly and very helpful. We travelled with our one year old, and they always had a cot available for him as well. Would definitely stay again! The area around the hotel isn't the nicest, but it's only a 20 min walk into the centre. We still thought it was worth it to be so close to the station and metro links.

• Viala (8/5): Un séjour bien agréable pour visiter Bruxelles et Bruges. - La chambre était spacieuse et le lit très confortable ; l'eau de la douche variait très rapidement au niveau des températures. L'odeur de la chambre pouvait être forte en entrant certainement des bombes pour désodoriser. Accès rapide de la gare Brussels Midi. 20 minutes à pieds pour le centre de Bruxelles. Un jacuzzi très appréciable après la journée de marche. Dans le jacuzzi une touriste se filmait avec une musique très forte de son téléphone. Il a fallu lui dire de baisser son téléphone car cela ne lui serait pas venu à l'idée.

• Molly (8/5): Very pleasant and suited our needs for this particular trip. - Very close to the train station. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was incredibly generous. The neighborhood was safe, but it was a bit far away from the areas of Brussels where we wanted to spend time.

SURPRISE !!! certaines chambres n'étaient pas encore prêtes et nous étions fatigués car nous étions réveillés depuis 6h du matin. nous avons donc demander à parler à la manager qui était au comptoir pour lui exprimer notre mécontentement et au lieu d'être commercial , elle nous a répondu sèchement en nous disant que la mention "les chambres sont pretes à partir de 14h " cela signifiait ça pouvait être 15h , 18h comme 20h. chose à laquelle nous avons répondu que lorsqu'on dit qu'une chambre est disponible à partir de 14h cela veut dire qu'elle ne sera disponible avant 14h mais que à partir de 14h nous aurions du disposer de notre chambre . aucun geste n'a été fait et nous n'avons pas été entendu et grande surprise lorsque que nous avons récupéré notre chambre ,j'ai découvert que le ménage avait été à moitié puisque dans la poubelle de la salle de bain , nous avons retrouvé tous les dechets des anciens clients ( papier toilettre, mouchoir et brosse à dent) bonjour l'hygiene !!! pour un hotel mercure je trouve cela inadmissible!!! je ne reviendrai pas dans cet hotel !!!

Phone chargers in the foyer don’t work. Location is good being near the midi train station but the area is a bit sketchy.

• Kani (10/5): Très bien - Le personnel a été vraiment adorable du début à la fin : très gentil, serviable et toujours à l’écoute, aussi bien à la réception que les femmes de ménage. On se sent bien accueilli et cela fait toute la différence. L’accès illimité au spa est un vrai plus et nous en avons bien profité. L’eau était peut-être un peu trop chlorée à notre goût. Le seul petit bémol concerne l’emplacement en ce moment, car il y a beaucoup de travaux autour de l’hôtel, ce qui peut rendre les alentours un peu moins agréables.

De koelkast functioneerde en een gekoeld welkomsflesje water stond al klaar. Een mooi tapijt op de grond maakt de kamer af. De kamer mist een nespresso koffiezetapparaatje, hetgeen vaak standaard is in dit soort hotels. Voor de ingang van het hotel, die goed bereikbaar is, ligt al jaren de bouwplaats van een nieuwe metrolijn. Dus rommelig buiten, maar binnen een oase van rust.

• Dr. G (10/5): Magnifica esperienza a Bruxelles e Hotel Mercure promosso a pieni voti - Stanza molto ampia, getto della doccia costante, personale cortese e disponibile, ma soprattutto colazione varia ed abbondante: ECCEZIONALE Forse il fatto dei lavori antistanti la struttura (di cui eravamo informati in anticipo) e la fama della zona, sulla carta avrebbero potuto destare qualche preoccupazione ma non abbiamo avuto alcun problema, eravamo al IV piano, silenzioso e niente personaggi molesti o altro nelle vicinanze.

• Kho (8/5): Très bien - Hôtel propre, avec une agréable odeur diffusée dans l'établissement. Parking sécurisé mais cher. A 20min à pied de la Grande Place et de là visiter à pied pas mal d'endroit. Situé dans un quartier populaire avec pas mal d'épicerie et restaurant. Station de métro à 3min à pied. Petit déjeuner excellent et varié. Chambres propre et confortable. Notre seul bémol concerne le matelas sur le lit-canapé trop dur et pas confortable. Personnel accueillant et disponible. Le matelas sur le lit-canapé trop dur et pas confortable. L'entrée du parking est juste pour une grosse voiture, attention à bien manœuvrer.
