Molto carino il cortiletto interno con fontana la camera è un pò stretta, in particolare il letto occupa tutta la pareta ed è posizionato davanti alla porta finestra, il che risulta un po scomodo.

• Andy (8/5): Great stay in Phuket - The room was spacious and comfortable, despite being found in an old big house. Air conditioning and hot water was working. Bottled water was provided daily. Instructions and demonstrations were provided clearly by staff upon check-in. Very centrally located in town - a ten minute walk from the central bus terminal. Tons of shops, restaurants and cafes around when getting out. No slippers provided, as opposed to what’s advertised. Staff didn’t respond to requests made via this platform.

They were not nice at all, grumpy, rushing us a lot. Him and his wife were asking us several times the same documents because they didn’t discuss together on what they already asked us. And they also spoke really bad to their employees. Additionally, it was not clean (see picture). I stay more than 70 nights abroad each year, I never had such bad experience. The location is great, but don’t support such kind of behavior and go somewhere else.

There was no kettle in room.which would have helped. No.food.and.deink were allowed in the room.

L’endroit reste assez calme la nuit. J’avais une chambre avec balcon donc lumineuse et parfait si l’on souhaite pas dormir avec la climatisation. Bien que je ne me lève pas tardivement, les femmes de chambre frappent à la porte de la chambre vers 9:00-9:30 ce qui peu être agaçant pour certains.

Haben uns den Balkon teilen müssen, Verdacht kommt daher, da ein Bikini, Handtuch und Stringtanga auf den Balkonmöbel (Tisch) ausgebreitet waren. Nicht so beschrieben.
• Andreas (9/5): Ich komme gerne wieder in dieses Gasthaus - Die Lage des Gasthaus war perfekt für den Aufenthalt in Phuket Stadt, direkt vor der Tür findet der Sonntägliche Abendmarkt statt, aber auch unzählige kleine Geschäfte, Restaurants, Cafés und Bars sind unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gastgeber und ihre Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Es war für mich ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in diesem Gasthaus. Das Haus ist durch seine Bauart recht hellhörig.

Clearly the staffs were super kind, and I can say it depends on how you behave in an old Chinese house like here. Everything was good , I was even okay with low pressure of hot water.

• Julie (9/5): Ideal venue for a short stay in the centre of the old town. - Good location for exploring the old town with lots of places to eat nearby. The hotel was quirky, with a lovely open air area by the fish pond where you could make coffee and eat at any time. We visited Phuket Elephant Sanctuary from here, which we pre-booked direct with the Sanctuary before arriving, including return transport. The hotel was well situated for the Sanctuary and the airport. The staff weren't very forthcoming with us, but that may have been a language issue.

• Louise (4/5): Disappointing - Excellent location in the centre of Old Town Very noisy. Barely slept due to the noise from other guest. The guests weren't being noisy but there is no insulation and everything is wooden so even the lightest footsteps reverberated through the building. The owner is certainly a character. Screamed in my husband's face waving his arms for tapping the key card in the wrong spot and causing a beep in his room. It was only 8pm. We saw another man come back who appeared to have forgotten his key. Again only about 8.15pm. The owner, his wife and their adult son frogmarched the poor man to his room! Sadly, I wouldn't stay again. Maybe the owner is so grumpy as he can't sleep due to the noise.

Until now, i still don't even understand why we have to pay another 100baht because of the towel got only a little bit lipstick stain. We already fight because it is not our fault. We stay here and it is including the cleaning fee. The lipstick only a little. The receptionist yelling at us and throw the towel to us and he want to charge extra 300bht because he want to us to take the towel because we dont want to pay. After the fighting, sadly we just paid 100bht by deduct the deposit!!! Please I dont recommended the stay/hostel here. I think they made the scene to charge us over the price by deduct the deposit!!!

As a solo traveller I didn't need much space, but I would recommend booking one of the larger rooms available if you plan on either being more than one person or spending a ton of time in the room. I can't speak to breakfast because I never tried it.

• Chloe (7/5): Cozy & full of character in a fantastic location - The location is amazing!! Right on the night market street - so you can't beat that! Great balcony view from above if you book that room. Wifi was just ok - but good enough for the stay. The rooms are small, but it felt cozy and all I needed. The bed was pretty comfy - but it is right against the wall so if you have two people you will have to step over the bed and them to get to the balcony. Everything was clean and felt pretty spotless! The place is much better in real life than in photos that's for sure! The wooden floors are gorgeous and the building overall has been very well maintained for being older and full of character. Yes, the front staff are not the most smiley as you'll find with most of the Thai locals, but that didn't hinder my experience and stay. I would've extended more nights if I could have. My shower drain wasn't perfect, but it wasn't enough of an issue to complain to the front desk. If I stayed longer, maybe I would have brought it to their attention.

• Sam (7/5): You can't beat the location, despite the very direct staff. - Despite the staff, you can't beat this place for it's location and cleanliness of the room. Great for short stays I reckon. Maybe it's a generational thing, but the staff were very curt and direct throughout my time there.
• Karyn (10/5): - 99 Boutique was amazing for people watching from the balcony. I booked our stay to coincide with the Thalang Road Walking Night Market. It was great to not only have easy access to the market but also to still feel a part of the vibe when we were done with the market.The balcony room has a balcony that is shared with the room next door. However the shutter doors open & act as a screen for privacy. The furnishings are lovely dark wood with a Chinese influence. The floors are equally divine. The bathroom is dark grey polished concrete & looks really smart although there is barely any bench space for toiletries. The hotel provides a very small bottle of gel soap & a bottle of shampoo. There's a mini fridge with two bottles of complimentary water. The Aircon is perfection and the tv has a number of Thai free to air channels to choose from. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but you can go downstairs into the common area for this. The common area is prett, this is where the koi pond is located. My daughter and I both agree that it is a great place to stay for the market adventure but it would be a bit frustrating if you stayed for a long while. The family who run the hotel are mindful of your privacy and they go about their lives as if you don't exist.They allowed us early check-in and provided a security key to access the property late at night. There's a 500baht room and key deposit. I would definitely return.

We gave a 500 baht key deposit on arrival, and when we were leaving, they aggressively demanded 300 baht for a towel that had some makeup on it. We thought it was a lot to ask (8 euros) to replace a towel.
• Mohammad (10/5): An Amazing Well Reserve Peranakan Guesthouse! - The location of this guesthouse is perfect. It is centered in Phuket Old Town, surrounded by many souvenir shops, a travel agency located two doors away (which I highly recommend), and a clinic next door with an English-speaking doctor. There is also an ATM nearby for any emergency withdrawal. The staff were super friendly. Although they speak little English, we communicated well through a translator apps. I will definitely come here again!

Shower drain clogged, should have been noticed during cleaning before I checked in. As a result, the bathroom was flooded during the shower.
